Team Aeria i change my old acount with this one ... after 4 months banned my account, on the first day we sent them messages to say Aeria I changed on account ... I did not gave any answer .. after I spent 500 euros at least they closed my account ... I bought everything I have in stock and can not get because my account is closed .. what should I do? Aeria Games provides far less than perfect services. Likely one of the worst companies I've had the misfortune of being associated with. The terms of service required for signing up with Aeria Games is absolutely ridiculous. (I would know.) The rules are more often broken by "Admins" than anyone else. Aeria Games feels they are not responsible for the often malicious behavior of game administrators.
If you're seeking to enjoy similar services as the ones provided by Aeria Games it is highly suggested you go elsewhere with your time and certainly with your money.
leonhart they close accounts via the webpage. you were undersuspision of 3rd party selling. soon as you get unsuspended you log in then ask for closing sorry to say but sounds odd and sends up red flags to me and im not a aeria games imployee.
ive played eden eternal for a solid year, after purchasing 200 us dollars worth of ap and selling memory tomes and auric jems for gold they suspended me for "third party selling". after the suspention ended i logged on to find all my equipment and gold wiped out. after contacting aeria games to close my account ( i wont continue to play any aeria game) they told me i couldnt even though the eula clearly states i could at any time.
I agree gamer007, I do not stick with companies that do not have good service or shaft their users. 2 companies on my "pissed off list" are jagex ltd and Gaia Online. they both shafted me for silly reasons. Aeria Games has come to me for Beta testing of many games they provide. I give them my opinion and are greatful. they keep coming back to me for testing.
The GM's have a Q&A every fri [i forget the time] and the GMs in it have answered every question we had to the best of their ability. They even thought one of my ideas was great. i have gotten free items from the q&a gms. one of the gms is stormcloud [i only recall storm is the first half of his name], he is a realy kind man. He is the one i told my idea, and he said "That is a realy Great idea." I do not know why you specificaly had problems QualityMonitor from your complaint it sounds like you did not give them about a week to respond. I can understand if they didnt answer for say 2 months, As far as i have seen that is not aeria games.
I have been playing games at Aeria Games for going on 4 years, and I've always been pleased with the service and the results. I actively partake in community discussions on their forums and groups. The majority of complaints that I have witnessed are from kids that hack, share their accounts, selling or buying accounts, and then whine and complain when they get caught and banned for it. As far as the Administration goes, AG&E currently works on the standard Support Ticket Service System. Over the course of the year's I've filed numerous times, for things such as promotion redemption, player complaints, questions, and what have you, and have usually gotten a response within 48 hours. In addition to their Support Ticket System, they also employ Volunteer Game Sages that help communicate player's requests, problems, and concerns to the staff, as well as passing Ticket#'s that have fallen through the cracks and help get them resolved. The quality of the games are very nice, Grand Fantasia and MegaTen are 2 of my favorites.
Compared to many other F2P MMO Publishers and providers, I would have to say that Aeria Game's Support System is faster and more reliable than other MMO companies. They even employ a "shout-box" or live chat on their forum, something no other mmo publisher is using, or at least none that i've seen.
I think if I had a complain, by biggest complaint would probably be the lack of Unison among the staff when it comes to enforcing rules upon the players. What I mean by that is, it' is generally upto the Game Master to decide the outcome of a player that has cheated or broken the rules. The majority of them have alot of compassion for the community and the players, and tend to let little things slip by, while focusing more primarily on heavy offenders...while on the other hand, some "rule with an iron fist" and will "perma ban" a player even for a first offense. However, I have noticed a difference between the two...the ones with compassion tend to ban players more often, but only temporary, basically like a Time-Out, whereas the "iron-fisted" ones, generally let all the small stuff slide and let players get away with misdemeanor crimes, until they commit a Felony offense, then it's sianara...Perma Gone.
This has generally led to alot of mis-matching opinions through the community over who got in trouble for what and why, etc...
So, I definitely feel that more Unity between the Admins in delivering of reprimand's should be enforced...but over-all I think they're doing a pretty good job...at least they care enough as a company to even stick their nose in community "drama" at all. Many companies I've seen just don't even make an appearance, and let their players run rampant doing whatever, whenever, regardless of rhyme or reason. I've also found, those communities to be very small, while the Aeria' Community is, and is still growing in immense proportions.

For the longest time Aeria games have made their players into guinee pigs. Their Service & attitude is pathetic. the only good in that company is the billing section, which I believe is outsourced.
In the past not only me but numerous players have encountered problems with aeria games but everybody just gives in and accept whatever they do.
This time they have gone beyond bounds. I have put in thousands & thousands of dollars into their game. I had not been around for a few months, on my return did i realize that some of my characters are not there along with a lot of items. I wrote to them and their reply is that i have to have evidence and they cannot check their records.
I am unable to find a solicitor who can handle this matter and file a lawsuit against them. Any help in how to proceed and advise on lawyers would be appreciated. This is not just for me...but it'll be for the other players as well. The others players will for future know that they cannot be taken for granted and won;t accept this companies high handed methods.

Sorry for replying so late. It sounds like you were hacked If the account was realy yours. they ask for evidence to prove that the account is yours and to verify if you didn't show any abnormal log ins. say log in from another computer. if you did then they can dispute that. but if you didn't then there is a problem. Did you tell them the date time frame you were not logged in for?
There is one other explanation. it is a common and accepted by 85% of all video game companies to "refresh" accounts from Beta, Alpha, and Gama versions of there games so those testers don't flaunt what they got from the testing that may have bugs in them to players of the consumer version. I had to start from scratch after alpha open/closed and beta open/closed. Yeah I lost allot of nice gear, but i recorded the info on them. when i got the consumer version the stats were higher and better then the old ones.
If you were not a tester then it was a hacker or someone you know may have done it. I am only guessing with the little information you gave on the events leading to this event.

Hi, I'm from Spain( EUROPE) I want to tell you about the servers in Spain...they are crap, (excuse my language) everytime you go to another map you get thrown out of the game, you may take 8 or 9 times to get to EGEA that's about 4kk you loose everytime you go there (cos the game throws you out about 7 or 8 times) and they don't seem to take any notice (we have complained so many times...) so I have dicideed to talk to you instead.

Let me start by saying this is a online gaming service with very poor customer service. I'm filling this report because this company without warning banned my account locking me out. I've since contacted this company and they informed me I was banned due to the fact that someone reported my account hacked/stolen.
I have since replied pleading to get my account back as I've spent hundreds of dollars with their company. I have also tried contacting them via phone, only to get a 'voice mailbox' is full response. I had recently spent $60 pay by cash to this company to further enhance my in game play, only to find out my character had been locked out before the payment even came out of my checking account.
So, basically they locked my character out then withdrew the money from my account and refuse to give it back to me. They have since sent me emails telling me they'll delete all my characters on the account that I spent hundreds on, then I can access the AP points to further my character. Why would I want to have my AP points if I'm starting from scratch? Exactly.
It just makes me sick this company can steal from people like this and all consumers should be warned ' STAY AWAY ' These people are thief's and I hope they go under.

i found my daughter wanting to play on a new company of online games. I then decided to do some research on the company. Only to find that they have Horrible business practices. The staff break there own terms of service. Using vulgar, Hateful, harassing, sexual, and just plane bad conduct. this is just what i saw daily. In game and all over the forum. I tried to address the situation and seek a little clarification. Only to have the staff call me many hateful names. I wanted to keep it PG so i am uploading a photo of just some random posts i found that where in all ages threads with many minors posting. These are the types of conduct you will have your children experience on a daily basis on aeria games. when you message aeria games they just dont care. keep your children far far away. tell your friends. Pay for warcraft your kids will be safer. Choose a game that has adults running it not childish questionable icons. dont support any company that wants to partner with aeria games. Show them this will not be tolerated. i will end with a quote

QualityMonitor if you have read the TOS of Aeria Games you would know it is a violation of it to post a transcript or keep one of any chat with a Game Sage or Game Master, UNLESS it is for your personal use. I.E. you referencing to it to remember if you have an answer to a question someone else asks.

Find me the administration that will admit its wrongs and you will have found not only a most incredible administration but an extremely rare one at that.
I'm sorry, but I'm not looking for Game Masters or Game Sages or anyone within Aeria Games administration to tell me I'm wrong. These complaints have been noted and reported here by customers who were less than satisfied and remain so. They hold the majority at the moment.
I'm looking for other customers who have had issues with Aeria's service and report solutions that were handled maturely and professionally. Only a plethora of satisfied customers can fix a reputation of a company that has gained a vast amount of negative attention.
NOT the company simply denying involvement.
I apologize, but a Game Sage (volunteer administration) spending upwards of six hours with YOU doesn't exactly help their case. In fact, it probably hurts it.
Perhaps you could help to fortify your claims and provide me with documentation regarding your interviews with the administration at Aeria Games. Should you be able to come through with these sources, I will contact them myself and post here again detailing my experience.

Absolutely terrible descriptions of the authority roles at Aeria Games. At least that proves you aren't working for them with your slight defense.
Game Sages. Yes. They are volunteers. No power? Hogwash. Tell that to someone who was directly banned as a result of a corrupt and foolish Game Sage. They're called the 'Girl Scouts' for a reason. It's literally a team with a ratio of 18:2 Girls/Boys. They're selected Bimbos chosen by the Aeria Games Game Masters for whatever reason (Let's not start any conspiracies. I'll let you be the judge of that ratio.)
Most of the more worthy players who have applied are never accepted. I would tell you to look at the forums, but users are banned and threads deleted pertaining to denied applications.
The Game Sages most important job is to constantly and diligently shout "DO NOT USE CAPS LOCK". Do you see the problem with that? That's the same format that was used within the service, no changes were made. Use caps lock even once and you can expect a solid 3 day ban. You'd be hard-pressed to find even 3-4 Game Sages in the entire team that have contributed positively to the service.
Game Masters. The employees at Aeria Games. Hilariously lighter-tempered than the Game Sages. But they have one HUGE flaw.
They Do Anything The Game Sages Ask.
Literally. Anything.
Game Sages have no power? Think again. That's like saying the police have no power because they can't directly sentence you to jail. Think. Hard. That's a huge problem.
Above, listen here is the break down i have seen in Aeria Games "staff":
Game Sages: VOLUNTEERS given grace by Aeria Games to act as GUIDES in select games not across games. all they can do is try and assist you. they have no power beyond that. they can however contact a Game Master directly when they are not online to voice something to their attention.
Game Masters: AERIA GAMES EMPLOYEE or administrators, they appear [at least in megaten] on Fridays for Q&A where they listen to the community problems and suggestions, then answer them to the best of their abilities. In the q&a they have been nothing but kind from what i have seen.
i have spoken to friends from other Aeria Games games and they all said they have had no issues with the staff. There may be something the original poster is not telling us about the incident that led to this outcome.

That doesn't clarify anything. All you're saying is that you've had a good experience with the COMMUNITY of ONE specific game that they host. It could be the best game in the world with the greatest and friendliest player base...but that still doesn't vouch for staff conduct in ANY way, shape, or form.
The staff is embarrassing to work with, try them. Seriously. Go talk to them now (To the best of that ability) and see what happens. Run into an issue, try to get it fixed and see if that doesn't produce a mind numbing reaction from the staff.
Hint: There's a 99.5% chance that it will.
I realize this is quite an old post but I would just like to comment saying that it is completely untrue. Unless your daughter is below the age of 7, I believe she knows what beer is. Also, GameSages are NOT employees of Aeriagames, they are community volunteers. The only people who are employees are those labeled "Game Master" or "Product Manager" .. As it doesn't show the original post by the minor - I would assume they didn't say "Hey, I'm 12!" in their post, therefore making it not so weird that the people offered them beer in jest - after all, Aeriagames hosts mostly 18+ games.
I have been playing one of Aeria's hosted games, Shaiya, since I was 12. I've never had a bad experience with any of the staff. Of course the community can be a bit rowdy and sometimes inappropriate, so can people anywhere, not just in this game. Moreover, I've had a generally wonderful experience with most people I've met. Yes, there are groups of people, mainly in the same guilds, that are hateful and unpleasant, but once you learn to avoid them, it's all good! I've met so many people from all over the world, and have met some of them in real life as well! I am very close friends with many people ingame, some moreso than "real life friends". Shaiya has allowed me to express a part of myself that otherwise would not be fully expressed. I've learned so much from this game and this community as well, about myself and about life in general. I've discovered unique talents, capabilities, and personality aspects that I might not have had I not begun playing this game. I've been (sometimes painfully) taught lessons about friendship, loyalty, perseverance, leadership, and character.
Well, that's all I have to say.. I think that Aeria Games' games, on the whole, would be a fun experience for a child. I mean, c'mon, they can't pass the kid beer through the internet.

The entire GS team consists of 14 females and 2 males.
This complete unbalance suggests more than a few things.
1. AeriaGames views being a GS as an intern position of which they only accept people who appeal to them in ways that don't necessarily improve your experience with Aeria Games.
2. They've taken no action to balance the team, and show no incentive to do so in the future.
3. I'm very sad to report that the majority of the team have decided to use their Game Sage status as...well just status rather than for anything productive. It doesn't take but a 5 minute visit to AeriaGames Grand Fantasia forum to confirm this.
Their language is often less than flattering, and if you yourself don't have any online "status" they often don't feel the need to hear you out.
To see that someone posted on this complaint saying "There are NO perks to being a GS." is not only blatantly admitting their status as a GS, but is also entirely false. There may be no perks if you're speaking in terms of items, etc. though I wouldn't be surprised if there really was. However, the "perks" of being a GS is behavioural immunity from admins. Everything you do is excused as a GS.
AeriaGames, if your team consisted of hard working individuals who actually met the "requirements" to become a Game Sage I wouldn't feel the need to post this. Obviously less than half of the Game Sage team even comes close. Recruiting should involve slightly more investigation than simply looking at a profile picture.

Bad customer service
People been spending money on this game and then they just start banning people stating that everon is hacking. not only did i loose my acount and my charter i lost all the money i put into the game. DO NOT PLAY AERIA GAMES .. Playing the game is bannable offence according to the TOS. Using and advantage in the game is considered bannable. This could be interpeted as boosted, magical weapon and parting to power level. It seem they find any reason that they can to ban account after they get to a certain level.

every time i want to log on to Grand Fantasia i have to keep uninstalling the game client and reinstalling it just so i can log in to the game WTF are you going to do about this because this is putting me off from playing :(
My account was apparently banned due to issues with PayPal not processing properly. I never have had ANY issues with paying for online services with PayPal. In fact after having issues with purchasing AP I made my next online purchase elsewhere with PalPay (No issues...go figure). I was then informed in time, that my account was being with-held from me due to issues with PayPal not paying Aeria games. I had attempted to converse with the representative that contacted me, and the message continues to refuse to go through. This is certainly a scam, and I feel so much better about the situation after reading the comments posted on this thread. The most irritating thing is likely that the games that we choose to play through aeria games are fairly well made game...but the ones whom made them are corrupt. I feel sorry for everyone here, and those who also suffered from financial loss/time that was wasted. Happy gaming everyone. I hope you find something else to fill your time. I switched to Aion online because it is also free :3
i have played eden eternal for 2weeks. i got 60k for 3days by selling the items i get in the altar, then after 5weeks i got my char to lvl 58 but when i log out and log in again my launcher errors. and then i tried to Uninstall and download it again its always have ang error so i asked them and they didnt respon to my ticket. zzzz
Look aeria games has always had a dodgy history, everytime a new game is released, you see the same complaints over and over again. Aeria games will always rip people off no matter what. Not sure why people keep playing their games.
@isaac during merges if items are lost and you don't keep accurate records [time purchased, item purchased, when received, and when it went missing. then they take that information and compare it against the character data they can access [what inventory items, and what items you have acquired, did they sync to the data, ] If they cant find anything on it then they have no real obligation to return it. they keep backups of your data from what i was last told from a gm. so if the data matches your data and what you provided they have to send it to another team for verification. if it fails the 2nd verification you get the generic compensation items like you did.
Also this site cant help with customer support for Aeria games. they are a separate entity. You can only warn people here. In the tos it tells you this might happen [data loss on their end] and you should keep a lot of records to prove your correct.

I'm here to report an injustice that occurred while playing one of the games for a company called Aeria Gaming.
I hope that I will get some support from you guys because I do not know what else to do about this.
I had purchased so many in-game items that the company promised that I get full time for my characters. The items/previliges were bought on April but after a server merge sometime between then and now the items were thrown away down the drain. The cost of the items were about $200-400, I'm not exactly sure how much since it has been awhile since I bought them.
I told them about it and this is their reply.

The "small compensation" they're talking about is just a few consumables that last for a short time. Again, I spent so much money on those items that I bought and yet they give me something that I did not agree on. I tried to explain that I can not settle for this (with some harsh words, please understand my frustration at the moment)and they kept sending the same thing over and over.

being one of the top ranked level 40~50 pvp wizards on grand fantasia i had alot of fun kicking everyones [censored] on a regular basis.. but your not winning if your not spending money on godly equips.. spent a good amount of money on aeria cash and went inactive due to boredom only to find out my account was perma banned for violating TOS.. i appealed this and got it back and its happened randomly about 5 times now i decided to give up on that account and make a brand new one to play aura kingdom with a friend.. my friend now is experiencing character delete every so often, this is a server side issue its not her computer or virus causing it, either way they refuse to restore deleted characters and its still happening..

this line while states they can do as they please actualy states this:
"we can ban any account we want without explaining or notifying it to the accused party if our investigations turn up that they did infact violate the terms of service that they had accepted by using our services, "
this is clear if you read the whole tos and the line before that line stating disclaimer.
Aeria Games HAS been known to be verry receptive if you are kind to them. if you coment like "you banned me and i did nothing wrong. you are the worst company" or something like that, then yeah they dont have an obligation to answer you.
now if you said it this way "I logged in today and cant log into my account. the system says i was banned. From what i know i have not done anything wrong." 75-95% of the time they will answer you and begin the unban process if they find it was a false ban.
I don't know where u came with that naive idea that he should stay banned, with no way to release he is account simply cause he broke their ToS ... do you know that their ToS clearly state that they can ban ANY account they want, ANY time they want, with or WTHOUT A REASON, with or WITHOUT an explanation or notification ? so based on their ToS they can freely do ANYTHING they want, such a tirany

Really that is a poor reason to call the BBB and Econsumer.gov for. you broke the terms of service. that means you are liable not them.
we'll i don't know about that. but the ban my account for third party buying/selling. which was never done. they will not talk to me about it nor provide proof. the 1st e-mail they sent me in to respawned to my dispute was..

According to your main comment you bought the account. That is Illegal by the TOS. So that means you don't own the items you bought. You spent 500 euros for the items ok hard earned money, but you made a bad choice to use it on an account that was sold to you. I do not condon you for it, I am just saying that they from what you are saying not obligated to return the money to you.
I spent over $5, 000 USD on my Gaia Online account and they havn't returned it to me cause they think I hacked them. I did nothing agenst the TOS. All they can prove is that the IP Address I log in with was used in taking an account when I was asleep. I lived alone no one accessed my computer. So I should get the money back. I have not cause I "allegedly" broke the TOS that stated you do not get refunds if you break the TOS.
I know for a fact that Aeria Games has a similer clause in the TOS of their games/site.
if you did something wrong then you cant get the items. that is what happens when you violate the rules of aeria games. did you in fact violate their rules?
