I previously sent an email explaining that when I received an email from Affiny for example sending a contact of someone who my brother of interest, if I click the link it always goes to the liked page not that contact. The response was that they have a problem with safari so I changed the setting to use google chrome but it still does exactly the same. Totally unusable! Another annoyance is if I view the list and for example view the 50th in the list then go back to the list, it goes back to the top of the list and I then have to find where I was before which again is totally unusable. Due to these inabilities of the site I do not want to carry on with my subscription. I have paid 2 months subscription but I don't expect to pay for remaining months for a service that doesn't work. Please don't ask me to try anything different.

We can cancel our account only via their website.
Once we're at the last "cancellation step", THE LINK DOES NO MORE WORK (pls. see the video shot attached)! This is unacceptable as we know they manage their website as they want!

Unable to cancel subscription
I recently signed up to affiny at a cost of 7.45 per month, when i tried to access the services for women messages you wanted more payment ie 19.99 a month . i was not happy so contacted my credit card company to cancel payment, however this was pending but your company as still took my money, although you have a 2 week cooling of period . I would like the return of my 7.45 and any further to stop ! My account is now closed and hopefully no further payments will be taken .

Subscription and automatic renewal
Been trying to cancel the auto renewal subscription for past 3 days and doesn't work which has resulted of £39 charged on my card. Just want account to be deleted a and money refunded.
The site is not worth the money, past month come across 2 fake profiles. Not good for the amount of money they charge, people should be checked properly.
Also, the fact that makes you go on a laptop to cancel your subscription. I've set up the profile on my phone, why do i need a laptop to cancel my subscription ? How about if I don't have a laptop? Very shady indeed

I have been trying for days to delete my account from Affiny after completing a questionnaire but NOT subscribing. This appeared while looking through Match.com which I have also NOT subscribed to. I have been tricked/ scammed in to subscribing to for a product that I (a) didn't want or ask for and (b) is not fit for purpose!
During the joining process for match.com I was somehow redirected and tricked in to joining affiny which I now know to be an utter scam.
At the time of joining match I was asked to fill out an additional and more detailed section in order to gain a more thorough search for a potential partner I then subscribed to what I and many many others thought was match.con only to subsequently realise it wasn't.
This is currently costing me £15 per month for 6 months on top of the actual cost of the match.com subscription I asked for in the first instance.
This really shouldn't be allowed to continue, the whole thing from the top to the bottom is crooked, devious and out and out deceptive.
I along with others would/could swallow the price of a mistake (IF) the product was useable, but it is really clearly nothing more than an algorithmic program with no real location specific or compatibility specific data involved.
In addition to this it is impossible to reach or email this ridiculous company to complain who make ending the subscription very near impossible to do.
I've also read that if you are lucky enough to end your automatic subscription renewal, you still have to pay the £15 per month for the duration of the 3 or 6 month term / scam you unwillingly signed up for.

Agree with all those who unwittingly signed up and discovered it's a 6 month "contract".
I shall be pushing for refund as I do not find the website useful, and the photos on mobile see TINY!

Wanting to cancel my subscription with Affinity.co.uk
I signed up for Affinity yesterday, thinking that it would be suitable for me. Thinking about it, I decided that it was a mistake as I suffer with mental health issues. There is no way of contacting this company as they say that their phone lines are not in use. It is impossible to send an email as they suggest because there is no form to complete.
I have the right to cancel this service within 14 days as I have not used the site to view profiles etc. I cannot see how I am able to make contact to cancel my subscription. This is surely malpractice and misleading for consumers.

I've been trying to cancel subscription renewal for over a week but the only respond I get is an error telling me the website is not responding.

I took out this subscription last nigh 29.8.20 thinking it was for ourtime as it popped up on that page, I have now established it is totally different and I cannot cancel it - the help link isn't active and they state that their phone numbers aren't active due to covid19. I wish to cancel the six month subscription that I was "tricked" into purchasing please. I am going to contact my bank about this as well. Please can you tell me how to achieve this.

Unable to delete my profile
I no longer want to be a member of site, I've tried numerous times to unsubscribe and have failed every time. I do no want to be charged for another month! I'm very unhappy and this is causing me great stress at a time when I could really do without. Please can someone look into this for me urgently as I cannot afford to pay this anymore, I greatly appreciate your help with this.

I have tried on numerous occasions to cancel my profile with this company.
Yet I receive emails every day saying someone has looked at my profile and I should pay to contact them.
I do not want to contact anybody and I want my profile deleted and I do not want to receive any more emails.

I have been trying to cancel my subscription as a fairly new user. I can not seem to access the cancel automatical renewal on my affiny account. I then want to delete it, as I'm pretty annoyed. You have taken 44 pounds out of my bank. I am a carer for my severely disabled son and I can not afford it. I have sent 2 emails and had no response. If I try to contact you using the option from my profile it says email address not recognised, yet you contact me all the time on it.

Disgusted as to how you deceive customers.. Have contacted trading standards and they told me they already have so many complaints they will be looking into.
I want my money back and am prepared to go to court with all the bad publicity you will deservedly get.!. I joined ourtime.. Did not expect to have to join another subsidiary to be able to contact members.. It is blatent extortion to fill your pockets at the expense of the vulnerable..
