Air India after customers immigration the airplane has been left.

Dear sir, yesterday we had immigrant completely and we were waiting for travel in immigration area. We regret to inform that the airplane has been left without taken us, no one can allowance, i'm pretty sure nobody allowance.
How does it possible that the customers waiting immigration area and airplane left without taking customers? There are some someone responsible in air india but they were very loose in their duty.

What can we do now?
Will we find any discount in the future?

Air India refusal of in-flight service and rude behaviour by flight attendant

I was traveling from Mumbai to Newark on July 10, 2018 Flight AI-191 .

Even after 8 hours after take off from Mumbai, no beverage and no food service was done. No Response to the flight attendant Request.

Finally when I went to the back of the Aircraft and requested beverage, a lady flight attendant rudely replied that they are about to begin food service and refused my request.

I travel frequently by Air-India and the service is not at all Consistent.

Entertainment system and Charging port do not work. Carpets are dirty.

Air India poor staffing

Unfortunately, on the 23rd June we boarded an Air India flight (AI114) to India where which it stopped in Dheli and boarded more passengers. During this time it was only expected to stay in Delhi for around 1/2 hours but ended up delaying all us passengers for around 4 hours, although we take into consideration that flight delays are very common we were highly saddened by the poor and lack of cooperation the Air India staff showed. This extremely unbearable environment was amplified by the insufficient support that the staff members showed.

Firstly, as passengers we should be aware what is happening constantly when there is a fault, even more so when we ask staff members. However this was not delivered and when a passenger including myself tried to ask staff members what was happening and how long it would take, no response was given which we personally found really rude.

Secondly, due to it being very hot during our delay in Delhi there was no AC service provided for passengers which resulted in heat exhaustion especially amongst the younger passengers including my 5 year old daughter. In attempt to reduce the heat the aircraft doors was left open which caused more heat to enter the aircraft and also resulted in mosquito's to be present, which the passengers were bitten by including us.

lastly due to the vast amount of heat and humidity we faced there was also no water given to passengers which affected our health and welbeing even further, this led to passengers on the flight to help themselves to water and immediately supply it to children as the cabin crew were not concerned nor present.

Rather than taking this matter to the media i thought that the issue could be resulted by contacting the complaints board and air India personally.

Air India flight cancelled and no alternative given

I had booked my flight to travel from New Delhi to Male on 7th July 2018 and return on for 14th July 2018 and on 5th July I received a message from the airline that my return flight had been cancelled from Male to New Delhi. They did not provide me with any alternative option and therefore I had to cancel my entire booking and book another flight. Now i am calling their customer care for some travel documents which I require to pursue my claim from my travel insurance, but unfortunately neither the customer care picks up my calls nor they respond to my mails. This is pathetic and very annoying.
Because of this I am bearing a huge financial loss as the new bookings costed me a bomb. Now they are not providing me the required documents.

Air India missing of personal luggage

I have travelled from Mumbai to Delhi on 23 Jul 18 by AI 144 and onward journey has planned from Delhi to Moscow and St. Petersburg in AEROFLOT flights. However, my personal luggage has not been boarded in Aeroflot flight SU 235 on 24 Jul 18 and the same has come to know me at Moscow airport on 24 Jul 18. I submit my ticket details below

Air India preassign seat assignments not met

Good afternoon air india customer relations,

I am writing my 3rd correspondence to your office in regards to my client's prepaid seat assignments. mr. & mrs. lewis prepaid their seats only to be told at the airport that due to mrs. lewis being in a wheelchair that she would not be able to sit there. she was then advised by your duty manager to contact your office for a refund.

She was not advised at that time to keep her boarding pass. however, the reservation was annotated by your ewr duty manager showing that the passenger was being reseated due to being a wheelchair. I have sent that to your office and have not received any response pertaining to their refund.

I would rather have this resolve quickly and directly with your office, rather than contacting the dot. as your airline did not in good faith as per the acaa. your seat chart did not indicate that this was an exit seat and must return the seat fees directly to the passenger's credit card.

Seating choices cannot be made on the basis of disability except where faa rules require it. an individual with a disability cannot be required to sit in a particular seat or be excluded from any seat, except as provided by faa safety rules, such as the faa exit row seating rule. for safety reasons, that rule limits seating in exit rows to those persons with the most potential to be able to operate the emergency exit and help in an aircraft evacuation.

Air India baggage delayed

Hi There,

My Parents traveled from Delhi to Sydney on 16th July 2018. At the time of boarding they were informed that one of their bag was stopped by airport security as it contains cigarette lighter. They were told to sign an authorization form and were told their bag will be sent by next flight. Copy of their passport, boarding pass and baggage claim tag was also taken by staff at boarding gate. They were also informed that they must make a complaint at Sydney airport so that their bag will be delivered to them within 24 to 48 hours.

From that time we have been contacting different departments and trying to get their bag. Were were told to contact Delhi baggage service at del.[protected]@airindia.in. When we contacted them, they have asked for Authorization letter stating that we are authorizing them to open and remove lighters from the bag, complaint reference number, copy of passport, boarding pass & bag claim tags. We have provided them everything except boarding pass & baggage tag as we do not have them, they were collected by dnata staff at Sydney airport at the time lo making complaint.

We are now in a situation that the boarding pass and baggage tags seems to be lost by dnata staff at Sydney Airport and we are unable to retrieve them. That bag contains my fathers prescription medications also. We are trying to explain everyone about our situation and trying to get bag as soon as possible but by now we have no positive response.

I would really appreciate if you could please help us get our bags. Passenger details are as follows:

Air India seat allocation changed at time of boarding

Dear sir,

I booked a ticket for my wife and 5 year old son from Mumbai to Bengaluru (Locator / Control no. JWBR1), and my ticket print out clearly shows Seats 8E and 8F. However, at the time of allotting a boarding pass, seats given were 3E and 16F. Can you please explain why the seat allocation was changed? And please sensitize your employees so that mother and child are not 13 rows away.

First of all, it is ethically wrong to change the seat. I shudder to think how your cabin crew would have had to assist my wife and kid to change the seat just because of this deed conducted by your ground staff. Please look into these details at the earliest. For now, am uploading the ticket which clearly shows the printed seat number. If needed, I'm happy to upload the boarding passes as well.

Air India lost baggage and poor customer service

Dear sir/madam,

My name is Amaresh Parameswaran and I flew on July 2nd from Amsterdam to Chennai, via Vienna and New Delhi, for a family wedding. The wedding is a 3 day event (July 3rd to 5th;wedding invitation and details attached). I arrived the day of the first event, much later than expected due to the delay from the flight from New Delhi to Chennai. When I arrived in Delhi, I was informed that one of my bags was lost. The staff was unable to tell me where the bag was lost and it took me close to 45 minutes and three different people before they could finally tell me that the bag never left Vienna.

I am only in India for 3 days of which I missed the first and second events of the function because I was told to wait at home for my luggage(July 4th morning). My mother insisted that I arrive for lunch on the second day (July 4) by which time, the second event was already finished. All the family members at the wedding ceremony who had been looking forward to my participation, as I had an integral position to play, were extremely disappointed not only that I didn't arrive, but when I did arrive, I was wearing a jeans and a tshirt.

Everyone insisted that I immediately eat and go shopping for appropriate clothing for the next event in the evening. As I had very little time, I had to go to the nearest shop where I could find appropriate attire and purchase what I needed for the evening event. I needed to shop again today(July 5), for the two events, namely the wedding and reception. I will gladly send you all the receipts for purchases and the wedding invitation once I return to Canada, on Saturday the 7th of July.

As the loss of the baggage was in no way my fault, and I have patiently waited more than 1.5 weeks without any contact from Air India, I feel that it is only fair and justified for Air India to compensate me for these expenses. I am a student, and I have come here after an international exchange semester, only because my family insisted that I attend this wedding even if I came to India for three days. I already had this clothing, but I was forced to make new purchases due to the loss of the bag. My academic commitments will not allow me to travel for the next two years, so I would prefer to receive monetary compensation for my purchases.

I would like to thank Ms. Natasha Madhan for her help and her assurance that I will receive monetary compensation.

Further, I would like to inform you that aside from Ms. Natasha, not a SINGLE person has been polite, useful, helpful, honest, or in any way assisted us; in fact, I have had nothing but tension and stress since my arrival in India. Your staff is poorly trained in customer relations and I have paid over 200 rupees in phone charges alone trying to reach anyone related to Air India who could give us any information.

I have just returned after the reception and I am being very blunt when I tell you that I did not enjoy a single moment of wedding event thanks to Air India. I am frustrated and angry and I regret having even made this trip at all. I sincerely believe I should be compensated for my stress as well. I am leaving India tomorrow, and today, a very curt and rude employee informed my mother that the baggage would be delivered at 10 am on July 6th. When my mother tried to confirm the address where the luggage would be delivered, the employee terminated the conversation and refused to accept any further calls (please note that the phone was not engaged; the phone line rang and the employee would not answer).

I am sorry to vent my frustrations on you as you have no direct responsibility for these unfortunate circumstances; however, I hope that I have been able to convey the extent of my unhappiness with Air India.

I would appreciate a prompt and positive reply to this email, assuring me that Air India will rapidly reimburse me for my unanticipated expenses and the suffering I have experienced in my brief Indian visit.

Air India delay of flight ai 907

Hi

We are frequently travelling on air India my family and friends from Last several years from Chennai to Muscat AI 907, I had travelled on 30 June 2018 - The flight Was delayed 2 hours reason was incoming flight delays. But Last week My brother has travelled on Same Flight AI 907 same thing has happened. And Yesterday my friend has travelled on AI 907 the reason was the same. Now my family also travelling next week, It may the same going to happen.

We are really fed up with travelling to our own country airlines( Air India). The other private airlines are travelling on-time arrival and departures. Why our air India is not following the same. it is felt really bad reputation to our own country Airlines.

Please do Action and please make our airlines(Air India) to bring better to travel in our future.

Air India extra baggage

Dear Sir, the baggage allowance is 25 kg plus 7 kg hand baggage, I was not allowed hand baggage at leh, on AI 446 on 09 july 2018, earlier this allowance was added in booked baggage, I have been incorrectly charged Rs 2100 for extra baggage, over permitted 25 kg as all baggage was booked. EMD number is [protected] and my pnr was AI - YL4R8. Kindly refund amount incorrectly collected by you

Air India baggage delay, lack of response to request for compensation

I left IAD on AI 104, IAD-DEL-HYD on the 27th June for business meetings in HYD ( 28th evening and 29th).

My single and only checked in bag did not arrive.

I was travelling in casual attire ( shorts and T shirts) and my formal clothes were in the checked in bag.

I had to therefore purchase three sets of formal clothes for the meetings and personal items as well. (Rs 4900)

The bag was delivered on the 30th at the Hyderabad office.

The file reference for the bag is HYDAI61014.

PNR is H1Q24.

I have written to customer care for Air India as well as to HYD Baggage services email.
When I call baggage services, I get referred to a number that no one picks up and when picked up says it is a wrong number.

I wish some one from the board or AI leadership goes through the frustrations customers go through to understand this pain.

More than the money, the lack of care feels like we are being scammed

Air India ticket cancellation refund

Hi,
We have cancelled a ticket booked online with reference number "[protected]",
Its been more than a month we have cancelled it and we haven't got any response from your department.

Traveller Name:- Mamatha Rajanala.

The customer service department had no clue about the refund status and can't assist customers on the refund status.

I have no help in the world to find out the refund status. I need to know the status of this refund.

Air India missing luggage while travelling from delhi to gothenburg via stockholm

My parents were travelling from Delhi to Goteborg(Sweden) on 29th June with a lay over at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The incident happened when they reached Goteborg via the SAS airline from Stockholm and waited for their checkin luggage they were not able to find the luggage. And after enquiring about the luggage the SAS flight officials in Goteborg said that Air India doesnot have any custom clear with SAS airlines so your luggage might be in Stockholm and we can file a complaint about this to trace the luggage and will let you know when the luggage reaches Goteborg Landvetter Airport and you have to come to pick up the Luggage from the airport as it is not their fault for the missing luggage.

Air India missed connection flight due to air india server down.

Hello sir/madam,
I am passenger (raina yella, us citizen) that was suppose to travel on
Ai468 (vga to del on june 23rd at 8:40pm) and ai101 (del to jfk june 24th at 1:45 am.).
Ai468 was dealyed till june 24th 1:45a.M. And missed the connection to jfk.
This delay was not communicated to any of the passangers on time and caused lot of
Inconvinience and disstress.
More important I payed extra money while making my reservation to get
A one stop flight and for weekend travel. Due to the delay I was reissued a two stop flight
And much more wait time in delhi which added to the inconvinience. Due to this I missed
A very very important meeting at work on june 25th and missed my pay for the day (june 25th).
I am writing to let you know that I need proper compensation for my lost work day and for
The extreme inconvience caused during my journey. All these years me and my family were
Travelling air india and after this experience I am seriously considering other wise travelling
On air india from next time on wards.

Hope to hear back soon on this complaint with proper address to the grievience

Air India amount deducted without generating pnr no.

Dear sir.
1. On 23 june 2018, while, I was booking two tickets online from kolkata to Imphal for 10 july 2018 (passenger name Mr Geetika Goswami and mrs sadhana Goswami) . While i was making payment from internet banking from sbi a/c no [protected] an amount of Rs 4682 was deducted and PNR was not generated also shows as error. I got it confirmed from air india customer care for not generating PNR no and i was told to rebook the ticket.
2. Accordingly again on 24 july 2018, I booked the ticket of the same passenger of same date fro kolkata to Imphal. And aid the requisite fare also.
3 Following references: amount deducted Rs 4682, debit card no. 511XX0473 on POS [protected] at air india ltd txn no 370878.
4. Plz refund my amount as earliest.

Air India seat allocation record locator

Hello Air India Customer Support,

My name is Jackie Griffin and I am a travel consultant for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
We paid for seats for record locator H1QEP, for Pallavi Meka and Dheeraj Chitikena plus infant.

The seats assigned were 17F for Mom (Pallavi) and infant bassinet, and 18E and F for Dheeraj Chitikena who is 5 years of age, and Dad, Satish Chitikena who is in record locator H1QF7.

I have called on 7 occasions to get the receipt for payment on the American Express card ending in 1345 that I gave you back on June 14th…I have been told each time that customer care would call me back and
I still do not have this receipt.

I am asking that you please forward the receipts for paid seats to the emails on this message.

Air India lack of entertainment system for long international flight

Hi,

I recently traveled through Air India flight (Confirmation number H1WF4) for the first time after using other airlines like Cathay Pacific and Emirates for the past 6 years. And I was very worried about the flight and the service.

Much to my expected paranoia, in my return flight, I did not have audio to my entertainment system. It is a very large inconvenience not having entertainment system for such long 16 hour flight.
I should say I am very disappointed in the way the air hostesses responded when I complained as well. I had to make multiple requests to look into it and at the end they very carelessly told me its technical error and that they can't do anything about it and couldn't even make a seat change even when there are few free seats at the end.

I hope you make sure to maintain proper standards for future passengers at least in the long international flights.

I would request at least partial refund for the great inconvenience caused. Hope you consider the request.

Air India flight delay resulting in financial loss

I travelled on 23 Jun 18 by air India flt AI 780 from Hyderabad to Kolkata due to reach Kolkata at 1600 hrs. In accordance of this, I booked my subsequent part of journey to Patna by a spice jet flight scheduled to depart at 1730 hrs on the same day. Due to server unserviceability the air India flight got delayed by an hour. This resulted in a situation where I missed my subsequent flight thereby, incurring a financial loss of 9000 rs. It is requested that the same be refunded to me.

Air India service of air india.

Regarding AI104 dated 23rd jun 2018,
I am Narender...travelling from Birmingham to Hyderabad.
From Birmingham to Delhi came in correct time. But connecting flight will despatch @1.15pm waiting another 2hrs. Up to 3.15pm and writing the compliant.
Your persons are telling technical problem in Delhi daylight not in flight. How other flights will go delhi server issue...your persons are ot giving proper answers.
What is the action item from your side.

I am more worrying about my next trip on 3rd July in air india. Starting from gud to Birmingham. Are you give any assure atleast my next trip connecting flight from Delhi to Birmingham

In connecting flight will not provide lunch (@1.15 flight.).Up to 3.30pm your people not provide anything...we are very angry and other people travel with kids...

This is very worst situation and outside more than 40 degrees and no a.c. inside flight..

I am Indian and every time same situation and I saw other flights...they are doing proper time.

Are you bare money back to all the passenger for your delay...
