Hello!
I've ordered 5 packs of cat food from Allivet online store. They delivered only 4 packs and said that these were the last ones in stock. They said they could refund me 1 packs cost but I said that I can wait. So we discussed everything and they said they'll send me the missing pack as soon as they'll get it.
Two weeks passed and I decided to call them regarding my order status. They said that I need to be more patient. Gave them another week and decided to ask for a refund. They said that refund was no longer possible. So I'm still waiting and have no idea what to expect.
Awful!
I ordered some meds for my god from Allivet because of their cheap prices. I spent over $1500, but I did not received anything. I am so disgusted with this company. Those meds were important because my dog was very sick. I made the order back in November and it is now January. Still heard nothing from these thieves. I have no idea where those meds are and they are ignoring all my messages. I want my money back! I had to buy everything from another website and received my order in time. What's wrong with Allivet? They just lost a customer.
Customer Service/Shipping
Have been ordering prescription items for many years WITHOUT a veterinarian's written prescription. Have now been advised that a prescription will be required to ship items to Canada ... HOWEVER Canadian veterinarians CANNOT legally write prescriptions to be filled in the U.S. Allivet ... you will be losing most of your Canadian customers because of this. Allivet's online ordering forms have NOT changed; the box to check if shipping "Internationally" still remains, indicating that a veterinarian prescription is NOT REQUIRED to ship outside of the U.S. Customer Service representative very much needs education & managing pharmacist needs to learn law relating to Canada/U.S. prescription writing. They have lost my business, which has added up to THOUSANDS of dollars over the past many years. Pathetic!

Order/customer service
This site seems to be very customer oriented - posting great reviews on their website, and prompting you to take a customer service survey upon completion of your order. However, the customer service, and product delivery/fulfillment, is HORRIBLE. I placed my order on Tuesday, June 5, and immediately received an order confirmation. Since I was ordering prescription medicine for my dogs, I understood why, and expected the email to state that for new customers an additional 1-2 business days may be necessary to confirm the prescription from my vet. By Friday, June 8, I had not received confirmation that my vet had confirmed the prescription. I called Allivet, and they urged me to contact my vet myself. Upon calling my vet, I found they had received nothing from Allivet. They said they would send confirmation immediately. I later received a phone call from Allivet that said they had received vet confirmation, and they would """try""" to let me know when it would ship. Monday morning, I received an email stating that the vet had approved my prescription. Tuesday afternoon I again emailed Allivet to check the status of my order, since it was not yet credited to my account. I received a generic email telling me that my vet had not responded, asking me to contact my vet. I immediately sent another email stating that my vet had approved, and included the email FROM ALLIVET telling me that my vet had approved. I heard nothing until mid afternoon today (Wednesday) when I again emailed them, checking on the order status. I received the SAME email HOURS later stating my vet had not responded, etc etc. I immediately sent an email instructing Allivet to cancel my order, do not send medicine, do not charge my account, etc. I (within minutes) received an email stating that my order was cancelled. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with this company. In that amount of time, I could have shopped elsewhere, and my dogs would not now be receiving their medicine 2 days late. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If anyone would like to view the email correspondence, I am retaining those as proof that this is NOT the company to do business with! Spend the extra 5 or so dollars, and shop somewhere that means what they say when they call you "valued customer."
They are incompetent and I will never order from them ever again
I've tried to give allivet.com the benefit of the doubt over the past year, but I've had enough! I've ordered medication for my dog through the website before and have been shipped the wrong medication, the wrong vet's office has been contacted in the past for prescription requests, and I was actually HUNG UP ON while calling to cancel an order. They are incompetent and I will never order from them ever again.
They have no idea how to help customers
I hate this site. They just told me that I couldn't refill an Rx that was written a year ago that I had filled about 6 mos ago. The CS rep I spoke to was so unhelpful. She just said there was nothing they could do (or would do) and I am out of luck. I have a dog with severe allergies and I need these meds to keep him comfortable. I wouldn't use them again. They have no idea how to help customers.
