I've been a member of AAA for over 30 years and I've never experienced BAD service!
AAA Call/Case #186318 - I called AAA on 8/22/23 for service because my car would not start. The wrecker service arrived within 45 minutes of the call. The first thing he did was jump started my car and said that it's a battery related problem but not sure if anything is wrong. I pulled out my invoice #5090859 of the battery that I purchased from AAA on 8/11/18, which was still under warranty. I expected that AAA service technician to replace the battery, but instead he stated that he didn't carry batteries on his truck and called another AAA service technician that specifically service batteries and carried batteries.
AAA Call/Case #188886 - The second AAA service technician arrived within 30 minutes, as the car was still running off the first just start. I expected that service technician to replace the battery, but instead he stated that he didn't carry batteries on his truck either. The second service technician suggested that I call AAA again and request a third service technician to replace the battery, I declined that request and insisted that he call this AAA office to see why he was dispatched without a battery. The second service technician inspected the existing battery that was installed on 8/11/18 and discovered that the wrong battery was installed, recommended that I go to the VW dealership to install the correct battery because none of AAA trucks carried that type of battery anymore,
I did just that!
Desired outcome: I'm requesting a full refund that labor and battery the installation of correct battery from the Huffman Volkswagen dealership (see attached invoice #6126543/1
