Applebee's the management staff

I have worked there for about 5 weeks I understand that I'm new but I'm getting cut after an hour and 15 minutes this is absolutely ridiculous every single day I'm the one that gets cut and I can't live my life and pay my bills on whether I want to get cut after an hour after I'm going to be there it's unfair they let everyone else stay and they keep their favorites plus the fact that I have to pay 1% to a host a lot of the time that isn't there and I'm giving up my money to pay for the job that I'm doing and who is getting the money I have no idea

You could try to talk your human resources representative, but it's unlikely anything will change. Unfortunately they have the right to schedule you as little as possible. Also, as a new employee, they are going to give you the least priority when it comes to hours. You may want to look for a job elsewhere.

Applebee's management

Lancaster South Carolina. I was stuck in a hotel for veterans day weekend and had a great time at Applebees on Saturday and because my server was so awesome I came back the next day but my same server was absent quite a bit. When I asked why I found out that the manager Frank said to not pay me very much attention. He continued to get onto my server even though there were only 7 other customers in the whole restaurant. I do not appreciate being told by a third party that I a paying customer am here for the wrong reasons and that my server is suffering for it. I was made to feel like a pervert and my server was made to feel like their employment was in jeopardy if they talked to me. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Applebee's customer service

I was in Applebee's on Friday 11:10 and I was there a day ahead of time for the Veterans Day celebration. I called ahead of time to speak to the manager and he told me that the event will be going on all day. Once I got there the manager came very rude said he didn't have the time or the ability to service veterans on that day it's only on Saturday. He then became loud and begin to say that he doesn't have the funds are food to worry about veterans a day ahead of time. The service is poor I took me and my family and we went to another restaurant.

Applebee's food

We go to applebees about once a week. We was at the Crawfordsville Road in Speedway Indiana on November 3, 2017. We ordered the 2 for $25 meals. My husband had the steak with baked potato and was suppose to be the potato wedges and ended up getting French fires instead but didn't say anything, We ordered house salads both with Ranch dressing, I ended up getting something that was not Ranch I think it might have been poppy seed but not sure. Went a head and ate it and didn't say anything. I got my firecracker shrimp pasta and when they brought it out to me the vegetables on top was gray, they was not fresh, the pasta was gross, the shrimp was really hard and not able to be eaten. I tried to eat a few bites and I couldn't eat it. It was gross, nothing I would serve to my dog much less a person who was paying for it. I ended up just not eating it and didn't take any of it with me. We have been going to Applebee's for years and I will say I will not go back there and waste my money. If the cook is too lazy to make something fresh and just throws it on a plate then I don't need to spend my money there. So just wanted management know that I will not spend another dollar there.

Applebee's food and service

Let me start with I always go to applebee's with my parents and my two kids and two grandchildren and have never had such bad service.. But I decided to treat my boyfriend and his brother and sister in law to try applebee's for their first time, and it was horrible and they were very disappointed. First off my bf was served the wrong dish, and mine was cold he ordered the chicken and shrimp but was served a stir fry waitress then served his correct meal all the while I returned my burger and fries due to fact it was cold, when my food was brought back with warm burger not hot and more cold fries, then complained again n by time waitress got manager who went in back and brought me out hot fries everyone else was fine eating and I just packaged mine up n took home.. Two times my food was returned and still served cold to me, were offered a margaretta which I declined since everyone else was finished eating and it took ten mins for my first drink.. Waitress was to much in a dish to assist us... Very disappointed, waste of money. And when I asked for my receipt after paying I was told that they had to keep it.

Applebee's food quality and portions, going downhill

I ordered "Curbside" from the Applebee's located at Columbia Point-Richland, WA and must say the food value nowhere near matches the prices you pay. I placed a very large order, and was very disappointed with the salads... I got a Steak Quesadilla and Southwestern Steak Salad... for over $11, I would at least expect to get some meat in both. In the Quesadilla, I had to SEARCH for the 'steak' and the salad had 3 very SMALL pieces of steak! Their portions are HALF of what they were last time I got meals from them. I am very disappointed overall with their portions in comparison to what you pay! It's going to be a long time before I order from them again! Just NOT WORTH IT!

Applebee's food quality

Dined at Applebee's in Morganton Heights Shopping Center, Morganton, NC on 10/31/17. This is my 3rd experience at this location over the course of 3 years. I have been dissatisfied all three times. The food tastes like a Lean Cuisine microwave box dinner with no originality whatsoever. Last night was a 6 oz sirloin medium rare, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. The food was cold. The steak juices had dried up already, the cheese on the potatoes could not melt because the potatoes were cold. The broccoli was steamed, but cold. For the prices, I would expect better quality. The service was great and the food came in a timely manner, but it was cold. I have had the enchiladas before as well and the portions were skimpy, tasteless, and Lean Cuisine would have been better than what was served. The rice was definitely tasteless and instant. Pico de gallo was definitely not made in the restaurant. Old El Paso jar sauce would be better. The food is just not worth the price. I would never have gone back the 3rd time since my first 2 experiences were not good, but my client chose this as our meeting place. No wonder young people dislike Applebees. This is the worst food in Morganton.

Applebee's service and menu availability

we eat at Applebees often, when at home and when traveling. we find the staff service to be friendly and the menu consistent However, we stopped at Applebee's in Wytheville, Va we have stopped at this particular site on many occasions and have found it to be great. This visit was far from that, we sat at the bar, there draft box was down, and we were told it had been down for several days. They had very few domestic bottles primarily just a few other beers. They were out of bud lite, just how does that happen...folks setting at the bar with us, and perhaps the entire restaurant were asking, well what do you have when ordering not only drinks but food items as well. Food service was slow, and not up to par. We felt sorry for the bartender. We had traveled 8 hours that day, needless to say it was a very frustrating experience. I asked if they were getting ready to close the location.

This sounds like one isolated negative experience out of many positive ones. Restaurants can and do run out of products. It happens for a variety of reasons.

Applebee's fingernail in my salad

I visited a location in Dover, NH two Sunday afternoons ago.
We ordered drinks and oriental salads. I took most of mine to-go, and my two other friends took theirs to-go completely.
The next day when I was eating my salad, I noticed that there was a piece of an artificial FINGERNAIL in my salad. I was so disgusted and immediately texted my two friends, who had not eaten there's yet and we all ended up throwing them away, considering they were all probably prepared by the same employee.
Initially, I sent a complaint email to guest relations-did not receive even a confirmation email it was received. A few days pass, I call the actual location and ask for a manager. The manager was very nice, stated he would contact someone else to send me an e-gift card. Wait a few more days, nothing!
I asked for a refund of just my salad but at this point considering this is over $30 in a complete waste, I want a FULL refund and also am considering never visiting Applebees again. I come dine with you guys weekly if not twice weekly, I do not understand if maybe my email was written down incorrectly, but honestly, you are a corporation how hard is it to replace $30? I should have just called the health department. It's not like the salad was cold, this is a legitimate complaint.
I need an e-gift card sent to me by the end of the day or I am never stepping foot in one of your locations again. This is taking way too long.

Applebee's military discount

Three of us went to Applebee's in Rancho San Diego this evening we got a two for twenty meal and a garden salad. When we presented our ID and we're told that because the meals where already discounted they don't horour military discount. The manager came and did horour it this time.
We usually go to Applebee's after our Water Aerobic at the YMCA once a week at least. We have never in 3 years been told that the about the military discount and the two for twenty or any other special. Pretty sad.

Applebee's poor management/customer service

My family and I came in to dine at Applebees' before seeing a movie. When we arrived we noticed it a nice crowd but was happy it was only one family ahead of us for seating. We waiting about 5-10 minutes and was seated. Once seated we waited about 15 minutes with no waiter/waitress welcoming us. I went to the bar and asked for the manager. The manger (bar manger) came and I asked her if she could explain why we've been waiting 15 minutes with no greeting from a server. She stated it was very busy and someone will be over and for me to go back to my seat. I asked her how long once I order for appetizers would it take and she stated about 15 minutes. How rude to tell any customer let alone another adult to go back their seat. We then waited another 10 minutes and someone finally came. We ordered appetizers. Something quick so we thought. Well the appetizers never came. Actually we waited almost 45 minutes for them. I then went back to the bar and asked for the manger this time Josie came out. She stated the other lady was bar manager. I told her what happened and all she said was sorry. I asked for the DM info which she said it was Max and told her we were leaving and to cancel order. To add fuel to the fire as I walked away her and the bar manager laughed. How dare you treat customers that way. This is far most the worst Applebee's I've visited. This one I will never be back to.

Applebee's the service was the worst and the food was terrible

I visited applebees for the first time last night 3 different people none was our server brought our food. and we sat an additional 10 mins before our eating utensils came. our food looked as if it was someone's leftovers. poor presentation. I was brought a different meal and the shrimp was undercooked. I was brought a different meal I simple asked for no bacon on my chicken and the meal I was brought looked nothing like I ordered. my steak had blood in it and I asked for well done. the manager was very sarcastic when I tried to tell her about the services.

Applebee's no vegetarian options

We come to Applebee's as a family pretty often and my husband is a vegetarian and never has any options to choose from on the menu. We would enjoy our family time here more if we didn't always feel bad that he couldn't find anything to eat. Every dish in the menu has some type of meat in it. A simple veggie burger would be an easy inexpensive option to add.

Please add at least one vegetarian option to your menu.

Applebee's dispute re: billing question and the altercation that ensued when inquiry was made.

Last week I visited one of your locations, with my Mother for an early dinner.
Upon entry the manager seated us in the lounge; this is the fourth visit when we were "autoseated" in the lounge. The lounge tends to be louder than the other locations in this restaurant. I asked the host if we couldn't be seated in a quieter area in the store(not to mention that we were seated near the kitchen) the server replied that "the dinning room tables were kept open for the later dinner service, and that there were a limited availability of servers for those tables at that time" and that "it may take longer for service to be readily available" Mother was hungry and didn't wish to wait so we took the booth in the lounge allbeit an unsuitable choice.
The server came with the menus and informed Mother and I that the lounge was offering one dollar margaritas I ordered one and drank it with our appetizers. I found the drink to be bland but also found the cocktail to be weak
Consequently When the server returned with more ridiculously salty French fries she asked if I "wished to order another cocktail" I voiced my issue with the drink the server suggested that I have another with an additional shot of tequila she continued to say that I would only be charged an additional dollar as it was just "another shot, and would be billed as two one dollar drinks " This worked out to be terrific the drink was good and all was fine .
When the Guest check arrived I was billed five dollars and ninety five cents for the additional shot.
Flustered and embarrassed the server sent the manager to the table.
When the manager approached Mother and I explained the transaction as it was presented to us, the manager claimed that "I ordered it and I was going to pay for it" That Applebee's servers would not make any such suggestions and that I was to intoxicated to remember what transpired the lounge was fully packed with other loyal patrons by this point in service.and the entire lounge was privy to this extremely humiliating, and some what loud tirade that your employee inflicted upon my Mother and I . When I asked the manager to lower his voice his reply was his "tone was entirely appropriate for someone who's trying to get out of paying for good service My seventy five year old mother visibly shaking wanted to leave the restaurant and pay what ever was on the bill. However your manager was clearly wrong the way he approached the subject and abusive ate that point I point blank refused to pay that exorbitant price for one shot of house tequila and after the abuse that We suffered at this small mans tantrum And told him so. And that if he didn't modulate his behavior I was going to contact the Hamburg police.
At that point he relented and asked me not to patronize that location again.
I reluctantly agreed so that I could get my Mother out of there. But was approached in the parking lot by two separate patrons who witnessed the entire altercation and were mortified by the manager and his abusive behavior I asked one couple that witnessed the incident and they were kind enough to offer their details should I need witnesses to this horrific breach in form and dignified customer service .I feel that this most unprofessional lapse in customer service needs to be addressed and dispatched

The two of us went for lunch at Applebees in Ottowa Kansas, the food was the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. I have loved Applebee's for years, this was not typical. The salads were good, but both menu items were VERY strange tasting. The restaurant was nearly empty, 4:48 pm, but the front doorway was dirty, booths, carpet, etc all needed a thorough cleaning. It was attractive but greasy dirty. We only ate half of our meals, took take-home containers (we never waste) and when we got home both of us threw out the containers. We just could not eat them. They did not taste spoiled, just strange. If I had not enjoyed Applebee's for many years I would never go to another one. I think you need to know as your company name is represented. I wanted to take a photo of dirty door handle but did not as I had treated someone to this meal.

Applebee's food quality/manager's response to issue

My family and I had the worst possible experience at your sicklerville, nj location. My husband found dirt and hair in his food. The manager came over to the table. I explained what was found, my husband still had the hair in his hand and pointed out the dirt. The manager nerver looked at the plate and begun to explain how all the employee's wear hair nets and gloves and the 'dirt' was possibly a sauce that was made for the dish! So I guess we dont know yhe difference between dirt and food. Also he made it known that his resutarant serves over 1000 people a day and sometimes erros happen. Needless to say the manager never apologized and brung us the bill. After my husband refused to pay, the manager told him not to return.in my experience I have never come across a resuturant manager that was so rude and disrespectful. At any other restaurant the manager usually removes the food immediately and apologizes. (No questions ask). He didnt even look at the plate. He treated us as if were liars. We were not rude, loud, or disrespectful. All we wanted was to be treated with respect not lectured in how clean the kitchen is! I dont know the managers name because I didnt care to ask at that point and he never introduced himself. When he walked over he said, ' what's the issue '. He already knew the issue because I calmly explained this to the waitresses. You really need to evaluate tge people you put in these positions. My family and I will never return to an applebees chain!

Applebee's service

On 10-7-17 Saturday around 12:20 I was at Applebee's in Burnsville MN with my daughter in law and 2 granddaughters for lunch as a celebration as my granddaughter just won 3 metal at a gymnastic meet. She is 9. It took over 20 mins to get a server at our table to place our drink & food order & that was only because I went & asked the hostess to get her. It then took another 20 some mins to just get the drinks. There were two other tables behind us where the managers took there order 10 mins after us and they received there food way before ours. Stopped General Manager Logan to ask her about the service, the statement was I don't want to make excuses but we are very busy today. I counted over 15 tables & 3/4 of the bar open. We finally got our food 2 hours later which we took to go at this time. This was so unacceptable to be brushed off like we were.

Applebee's food

Out of napkins, wings, mozzarella sticks. The chicken quesadilla smelled like old grease and didn’t have pico on it. My chicken tortilla soup was nothing but tortilla strips; barely any soup. I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese dip. The cheese was hard. When we complained about the quesadillas the manager snatched the plate from my daughter. We asked for another cheese for the pretzels. It took 15 minutes to get more cheese and that cheese was hard too.

Applebee's management and customer service

To whom this may concern,
I am writing this because I am appalled with the service I have received at the Hicksville applebees located at 938 S Broadway, Hicksville NY 11801. Myself and 6 other ladies went to half off apps on 10/7/2017 and an incident occurred where one of my friends happened to get sick at the table. We went and used our napkins that we were given with our silverware and then proceeded to get up and ask for more, we soaked up the vomit as best as we can. I ended up leaving with the girl who got sick, but then I received a phone call from one of the ladies who stayed back to take care of the check and was told that they were rudely approached by the manager (George) whom was on shift and was told that they were to clean up the vomit. Keep in mind that when the waiter approached us he took the plates from the table with a disgusted face and then came back 5 mins later with napkins and a bag BUT never said anything about us having to clean it up and while he walked away he was chuckling. I currently work as a manager at a trampoline park where children vomit every so often and we as a business do not go up to the children or their parents and tell them that they must clean it up, for example today we had a birthday party thrown at our facility and two of the children viciously vomited in the party room, one of our managers went into the room and cleaned it up, we did not go up to the child or the parents to tell them to clean it up.I also worked as a manager at Mcdonalds in Plainview (818 Old Country road Plainview NY 11803) for 3 years and not once did we ever tell someone who got sick at one of the tables, in the lobby or bathroom that they had to clean it up. This experience has made me disgusted in your workers and the little compassion they have for their customers. Our bill ended up coming out to $71 and change so its not like it was some cheap meal we were having. I have had many pleasant visits to your facility with very nice workers but the way this was handled by your staff and the manager who was on shift was just disgusting. I am livid. Coming from a managers point of view this was handled in a unkindly manner. Also keep in mind when the manager told them they must clean up the mess they weren’t given anything more than napkins.. no sanitary wipes, no gloves, no disinfectant.. As told by the manager that it was company policy that the customers must clean up their own mess you might as well fire all your staff and just have your customers get their food and clean up their tables etc. Once again from working in the food industry and a very well known franchise I would be disgusted if one of my employees told a paying customers to clean up after themselves and then not having any sanitary products to clean it up with besides the gross washcloths that are put in a bucket of water and pulled out when needed. I hope that your actions have consequences and that maybe one day something like this happens to you and you feel the same way as my friend did and you’ll realize how wrong and out of line you were.

Applebee's service and food

Took them about 25 minutes to seat us. Waitress (Paulina) courteous enough, takes our order for drinks and meal soon enough, but after that it's a waiting game. Other customers that came in after us get served with their meals before us. We tell our server but she says that delay is because they are super busy. I ordered my steak "medium", and when its finally served, steak was well-done. We tell our server, and she calls manager, Rebecca, and when she finally comes to our table we complain of delay and steak, she says she'll take my food back, but my husband tells that now he will have to wait until my food is brought back, so she takes both plates back. We wait about 15 minutes more and finally realize she is not bringing our food back to us. We finally decide to leave without eating, just pay for our drinks, and my husband locates another manager, Heather, and relates to her regarding the terrible service we received. All she says is that she'd look into it, and apologizes. We sat there for over an hour and left without eating our meal. My husband is diabetic, and needs to eat on a timely basis or he gets very sick.
Very disappointed with everything about Applebees, food and service. Will n I t return or recommend.
