My electric bill
I have solar panels, I make electricity and sell it back to aps at about.08 cents a kw. I want to know why I am receiving a $200. Check for my solar surplus one month then a bill of $130. For electricity two weeks later. We all know they are charging it back to me at a much higher cost then they paid me for it. Aps is reselling me my own electricity at a giant profit, is that a racket or what. Sounds like an extreme waste of everyone's time, everyone's money, and it is aggravating me. Who is in charge of such a ridiculous program.
Desired outcome: I am making electricity and should not be charged back at a profit. Do the math, does it add up to send me a check then a bill 12 days later?????????????????????? FIX IT!

Solar meter install
On Nov 9 2022, APS refused to install a solar meter due to a walk through gate. The gate does not lock and all the installer had to do is pull the cord to access the property. The installer didn’t even try to contact us as we were home. According to the email from APS the installer left a door hanger, but nothing was found. When contacted APS stated I could not have my property fully fenced off. Their reasoning was access in the event there is a emergency and this requirement is documented in their documentation. I question this requirement. If all they (APS) has to do is lift a latch for access where is the restriction they say a gate creates? This requirement needs further investigation. This appears to be case of unreasonable requirements very poor customer service.
Desired outcome: A review of APS requirements by a governing board and a removal of the No gate policy. Especially if there is reasonable access.
APS Arizona Blatant Overcharging
I make monthly payments to APS. I made my August payment over the phone. The next day I saw that the payment was deducted twice from my bank account.
Then afterwards I look back online and they doubled the amount of my August bill. Please tell me how from my payment in July, the August bill doubled? Especially when APS had 2 power outages. If anything I should have a credit for the upcoming September bill. I will be reaching out to the state to investigate. In addition, I called on this issue and your customer service representative along with a manager stated that I there was noting they could do. I was charged double for the month of August bill. Marsine Perry
Desired outcome: Credit for September
Aps billing
PROBLEM: APS cashed check 2010 for $131.41 deposited into APS [protected] [protected]-24-042.my check 2010 posted out of bank account June 21, 2022. Faxed check over 6 times and called numerous time. All my APS statements do not show a credit of $131.41, All my other payments show on statements.CARRY OVER BALANCE for two months the statement
is $520.23 not showing the credit of $131.41 on APS account [protected].
APS has rude customer service agents whom talk down to me- that's indifference/discriminating. I don't understand why this issue can't be handled efficiently...it seems to be a pass the buck attitude, no wonder your phone calls are so heavy, which the problems should be handled efficiently the first time.
Desired outcome: I want a credit of $131.41 and a apology in writing
Electricity billing
May 24, 2022
Today I received an electric bill from APS. I am on a service plan called time of use 3pm-8pm weekdays with demand charge. During the months of November through April there is on peak, off peak and super off peak billing rates. Super off peak rates are the lowest rates during this 6 month period which are known as winter rates. From May through October summer rates kick in and there are no super off peak rates during this period, only on peak and off peak.
My most recent bill had meter readings on April 21 and May 23. I was not billed super off peak rates on electricity used from April 21 through April 30th. I was charged for off peak and on peak rates at the summer rates, even though nine of those days were in April and should have been eligible for winter rates as well as super off peak rates. During a conversation with an APS supervisor today I was told that because my meter is read mid month, the nine days of April that fell in this billing period are billed at summer rates. I was also told that in the fall, due to my mid month meter reading, a billing period w/meter readings in October and November would be billed at summer rates, even though the Novemberbilling days would constitute winter rates and also incorporate super off peak rates. Sounds fraudulent to me. If APS can read my meter several times a day, they can certainly determine usage from mid month to end of month during their summer and winter rate transitions.
Desired outcome: I would like to be billed at winter rates as well as super off peak rates for electricity used by me from April 21 through April 30.
New service request that was to be completed no later then May 16th
I am building a new home at 14618 s ave 4 1/2 E yuma az 85365. I turned in application and paperwork and they never started processing it till I called in and escalated they case. Then I was told that I had to sign an agreement and pay them $1,6661.61, witch I did on 4/14/2022. I was told that the project would be completed no later then the May 16th and still they have not started. I had to pay a penalty to extend my build of $1,700 and still Arizona Public Services has done nothing but cash my check and blow me off. I need this resolved A.S.A.P before I have to pay another penalty due to APS and there terrible customer service. Heldy Rehhopf is the person in Yuma in charge of my case. Her contact information is [protected] AND [protected]. Please help get this resolved and get back to me.

Desired outcome: I need my electric hooked up as s0on as possible
Power service
In the past 4 months we've experienced 3 power outages that have been longer than an hour. Today we're looking at 14 hour or more with no service. This is totally unacceptable.
Desired outcome: Restore power faster when it goes down.
Solar meter install
We purchased a solar system with another company and need the meter installed by APS. This process continues being prolonged and has been scheduled several times only resulting in conveniently needing to be rescheduled. Myself and my husband have been taking time off of work to accommodate the installer's scheduled appointment to move the dogs so meter can be changed to add solar. While sitting at home installer has left notices outside the gate notifying no one was home and needing to reschedule. No one bothered to call, knock or signal being outside the house. There is no accountability on APS behalf when I have called to follow up on the process. Their customer service and accommodations only show blatant abuse of power. Who is going to reimburse me for my missed work?
Desired outcome: Prompt Install of meter to add solar and stop the delays
Solar Consumer energy cost
Aps is unfairly charging Solar consumers astronomical rates for having Solar energy. effectively rendering Our Solar installed Systems useless!
These higher on- peak rates with Zero options are Prejudicial towards Solar Consumers and geared for higher billing and hence higher profits for APS without regard to the customer or Consumer. This $ 100 million dollar
profit increase targets Solar consumers.
The higher On-peak rates with higher and more numerous ironeous fees not only increase the Solar consumers electric billing, especially during summer months to double or more than the Non solar rates ( prior to Solar installed) But, along with the cost of the system itself puts the rates solar consumers are paying at nearly triple that of Non- solar customers.
This is an intentional target of Solar Customers ( consumers) at a clear disadvantage.
Aps not only targets them but takes nothing into account when it comes to customer ability to pay. I.E. Senior, disabled, Poverty level income, etc. are marked for this discrimination. Myself included.
Since purchasing Solar Last April and installed July 1st, 2020 my Average billing went from $130.00 to nearly $300.00 per month ( with Solar payments of 90.00 per month)
Despite calling customer service repeatedly complaining about the rates and billing, I was told one virtual lie after another.
!st was I had to build up credits over the winter months, this made no sense.
then, they said I was not producing enough energy . this turned out to be false as I was producing over 800 kwh per month.
then it was I am using way more then my system can produce, I don't produce anything during summer, and ETC. ETC> ETC.
At no time did they ever tell me that they had raised my rate plan to the highest possible plan for on peak times. Which was the real cause of the problem!
At no time did they tell me that additional numerous and higher fees were attached to me being a Solar Consumer!
All of these of which are unfair practices.
I Desire APS to Charge all consumers fairly and equally and to stop targeting and unfairly charging solar Consumers higher rates . I desire APS to re-imburse the exurberant over charges placed on me currently costing over $1780 for the last year. If Aps can not be fair and do what's right, then I desire Aps to pay for my solar system that they have rendered effectively and useless with their over charging practices. Approximately $21, 000.00 tt
Desired outcome: Do the right thing! Stop over charging/ reimburse and or pay $21k
Plan comparison unavailable on single month bill
I moved from the SRP provider area to the APS provider area.
I understood the SRP plans.
I'm an engineer, and APS's plans look purposefully confusing.
After 2 months at my new home, I wanted to compare plans for the July bill, but APS's only comparison is not available and tells me to call for help.
I called, and the person on the phone was useless. They could not tell me what I might have paid under other plans.
If the plan is understandable by APS, they should be able to tell me what my bill would have been under each plan on their list.
Now, I will set up a spread sheet in Excel and try to understand the purposefully-confusing rate plans which the Arizona regulators allowed APS to have.
Mislead on cheapest are Plan.
APS' web site gives erroneous information about rate plans and when you call the company they read an explanation from a script that is clearly a lie.
These people are crooks.
Desired outcome: APS needs new management.
Electricity
I just received a letter from APS stating that I use 109kwh more than the surrounding homes which is highly suspicious since it's just me and my cat. I rarely turn on interior lights and rarely use heat/ac. I never use the dishwasher . And rarely use hot water. So how can I use 14% more electricity than homes with multiple persons living in them ?
Billing
I have been with APS for a long while. I recently changed to a new bank with a credit union. Switching all my accounts over to my new one I was having issue with the payment to go through for my bill. The first time it denied I went to try and fix it and pay it soon as I found out it did not go through. Something about it couldn't find the account. I input the information again thinking maybe I typed it wrong. I emailed the company and the removed the late fee. Apparently it denied a second time. This time I called and explained the issue. She removed the block to pay online but said she cannot remove the late fee again cause the 1 time courtesy was used. I always been one time with my payments and here I am trying figure out why the account being an issue, I show I am trying to pay but you can't work with me still and cannot remove the late fee once more? I am sorry but that is not right. Its not like I didn't have the money and I was trying to figure out why the bank info being an issue. I am already paying enough for the bill as is. This really made me wish SRP was in the area. I never had a issue with them. I never been late on a payment, trying to fix the bank issue but can't work with me to help me figure out the payment issue and remove the fee once more. Not cool APS. Maybe you need to work with your good customers little better.
Employee
An APS employee Michael P O'Malley. He says he travels a lot for APS he always has a crew with him he says he is a field manager from the Glendale AZ area. I have been his waitress a couple of times he mostly gets extremely drunk and loud. He makes me very uncomfortable. He is always saying he will only tip me if I go to his room with him. And his coworkers think it is so funny. It is terrible and it happens all the time with him.
Electric service
We live in Carefree Rolling Hills, just south of Cave Creek Road East. In the last 3 month we have had 3 Power Failures, 2 of them in just 3 weeks, yesterdays (05/10/20 18:30 to 23:00) for over 6 hours. Since the problem is always in the dame area, why don't you pull a new cable and get it permanent fixed, you certainly charge enough.
APS seems to strive for the 3rd world country 1st price, it appears you may suceed. The cews are responsive but feel helpless, "no one listens to us" is an often heard comment.
So get your act together before we go to more drastic steps to go after you. Replacing a abd cable in the ground (short distance) is not rocket science.

Street light too bright
A street light was replaced on April 27th
2020 at around 2 pm in Globe Arizona on the corner of Cottonwood and 3rd street because a pole was hit by a city truck. The street light that was installed is way to bright for our neighborhood and shines in the windows of 5 houses it surrounds. This is a dark town and we like it that way. We are asking to please put in a yellow light or a dimmer one. It is very annoying and disturbs our night sky view.
Sincerely
Michelle Johnson

Coronavirus
APS has an awful policy to require customers to pay in person to CVS with cash during the corona virus pandemic if a payment did not go through due to bank error even if they are elderly and have health risk. APS is putting Arizona residents at risk. APS literally causes harm to the community with this policy. APS is forcing people to carry dirty cash into a public store when the Arizona governor issued a stay at home order . This is extremely dangerous.
power outage
We had a power outage for approximately 2 hours yesterday in the Blackstone community of Vistancia located in Peoria, AZ.
Our refrigerator was destroyed as was the food in the freezer and refrigerator.
The cost to replace the same refrigerator was 2500.00. We would like to know who was responsible for this outage so we can take action.
Thank you in advance,
Karen Tinkey
