a piece of paper found embedded in one of asda's spicy piri piri bean burgers
Me and my husband are vegetarian so we always purchase the vegetarian ADSA own brand burgers. While having my sandwich, i felt something strange and when I took it out it was a piece of paper which was embedded in the burger.
Since part of the paper reads something like"magenta", I would think that it is one of the colours that is used during production of that product or other product manufactured from the same line.
This really put me off, and I couldn't finish my sandwich.
One of the pitures shows the hole in the burger from where the paper was embedded.
Could you please investigate and come back with your feedback.
money exchange
Today 23.10.17 around 5:20 pm i went to asda store located at St Pauls Rd, Bournemouth BH8 8DL, i went to travel money to exchange some euros for pounds, the gentleman name Lewis was on the phone, i didn't even had chance to ask anything when he shout to me, yes shout to me that it will take 5 minutes and he is busy and i need to wait ! i said ok 5 min i can wait (i was on me way to work) it was important for me as i needed some money and i had only euros on me, after standing there for around 35 minutes the person didn't try to make eye contact didn't even try to apologies for such a long time of waiting, as i clearly heard i could tell he didn't talk with a customer as constantly he was repeating ; mate, mate, mate... i am calm person and i never complaint but this was outrages, he ignored me completely after i asked how long it will take he shout on me again he do not know ! and i should go somewhere else etc, i asked to speak with the manager and i get reply he is the manager and what i am going to do, dear lord i work in hospitality for 20 years and i have never seen behaviour like that, is that the way you treat people these days ? this is unacceptable ! after i said that he could've been told at the beginning that he's got difficult client and it might take a while, so i would went elsewhere to change my money, i must say i have never experienced such a rude person, i tried to call your shop number but no one reply, im hoping to get apologies from that young man i will publish my complaint as i believe today i can get better customer service and being treated like a dush.
delivery van dangerous driving
To whom this may concern.
Me and my 2 children have just been subjected to one of your drivers incredibly dangerous driving. As I was traveling along the B3274 heading to Roche from St Austell your van driver came up behind me in a 30 mph speed limit at a ridicules speed and was so close my children were very scared. He then proceeded to overtake me on double white lines. This vehicle is fitted with a front facing camera! The vehicle registration was YC66 WUO this happened at 18.30 on the 23/10/2017. As a concerned father and HGV 1 driver I hope this is looked into not to mention, out on the road this driver is an ambassador for ASDA!
Thank you in advance.

home shopping and poor customer service
To whoever is reading this complaint.
I have an account with Asda for the home shopping and never really get everything that I order however accept this because it is what it is.
I called the home shopping team at my local Asda on the Sydenham estate Leamington spa as they had cancelled our order stating that the driver had been involved in a road traffic accident and said I would have to call someone at the store the next day.
I did as was asked and when enquiring about the driver they said that this wasn't the case and he had fallen down some stairs. They then said my order was now cancelled and if I wanted the same order I would have to start the process over again. A real inconvenience I tell you!
He also told me that for our inconvenience we would receive a home shopping voucher of £20. Guess what, no voucher and this was back in August.
My last order was on the 2/10/17 I ordered and paid as usual. This morning 12/10/17 money was taken out of my account making me overdrawn and incurring costs, I was confused and went to see Asda customer services who said it was a payment from September but could not explain why this had been taken now and not last month.
She gave us an Email address for james.[protected]@asda.co.uk and stated that we needed to contact him as he would be the one to reimburse our overdrawn situation. Below is my email sent to James. I have sent 2 now with no reply. I am really annoyed.
I would like to raise this complaint to the people that may be able to help me out please. Also is there an Ombudsman I can contact.
Yours disgruntled
Catherine Golby
Dear James,
I have spoken with Davina from Leamington Asda today in order to inform of monies taken out of my account which has incurred overdraft charges. I will attach a screen shot as requested. The shop was for September 12th I think, however monies not taken till now a month later.
I would be grateful if as we were told you would reimburse my account with immediate effect so as not to incur further costs. I do understand that from time to time mistakes are made however your whole home shopping experience has been very hit and miss since using this service. I cannot use this service again as I spend my time trying to rectify Asda's mistakes then when put through to the right person who apologises then offers us a voucher for inconvenience which placates us for a short time saying it will be added to our account, no materialisation of any vouchers.
My account number which you already have is [protected] (front of card number is [protected]) sort code is 776893.

delivery driver
Today I had my Asda order delivered due to I'll health and not being able to go to store myself. I placed an order of £173.09 the delivery driver had very bad attitude and was tutting and huffing and complaining about how much I ordered stating I deliver less to care homes. He was very rude and felt I had to explain to him why I had ordered what I had. Will not be using asda home delivery again if staff are going to speak to me in this manor
online delivery service
Yet again, i am finding myself having to make yet another complaint about the online delivery service of the Eastbourne store.
Today my shopping was meant to be delivered between 6pm-8pm. At 6.10pm i received a phone call from the duty manager Anthony, at the store telling me that my shopping wouldn't be able to be delivered due to the fact that a driver didn't turn up for work! Firstly, my shopping should have already been out on the road by that time ready for delivery at any moment, yet they only told me about this at 6.10pm! I was then told that i would have to go back online and re book my delivery myself. This meant of course that there was no way that i would be able to get my shopping delivered tomorrow (Monday 18th) as the slots would have been taken already. I was right, the slots had all gone. So i now have to wait for my shopping to be delivered on Tuesday 11am-1pm at a cost of £3! This is totally unacceptable. Whilst i understand that sometimes a driver may not turn up, telling me at 10 minutes past the beginning of my delivery slot is totally unacceptable. Furthermore, telling me that i would have to re book the slot for re delivery myself is unacceptable too as everyone would have known that by that time of night, the only slots available would have been Tuesday! 2 days later than my planned delivery. Again i state the fact that i am 100% totally reliant on this service as i am a housebound disabled lady who has no family/friends around me to do shopping for me!
To be honest, having to keep complaining about this store is becoming relentless and to be frank, it is extremely unprofessional to say the least. I am appalled at this lack of service to the customers! The complaint i had to make before was because some of the substitutions that were picked were nothing like the original product requested. Just last week they made the same mistake as they did before when i emailed you with that complaint. I had ordered a 3kg bag of Iams cat food for a cat between the ages of 1-6 years and they substituted it for a 3kg bag of Iams for cats over the age of 7 years! Completely unacceptable when i have a cat that is only 1 year old, and completely unacceptable when this was the same complaint made just a couple of weeks previously!
There seems to be a total lack of customer care, staff communication, and now quite obviously staffing issues! Surely another driver could have taken my order on. There can't have been just one driver taking the deliveries?!
To say that i am angry is an understatement! I can no longer rely on deliveries from asda at all. There is always something that is wrong every time i get my deliveries. Not once has there been a delivery where everything was as it should be.
I wonder if the CEO of Asda, Sean Clarke actually realises what he is representing?
Your Sincerely
Miss D R Richardson
Rump steak
Whilst on holiday in the area with friends, we popped to Asda to too purchase that nights tea. Rump steak, once back at our holiday destination, we unpacked and noticed as we prepared the steaks for our evening meal that the steak was rotten, it was until we unpackaged the item, we discovered the putrid smell. Needless to say it was short rations all round, as it was too far to return to the aforementioned Asda...
I know how you feel I bought a Turkey crown from asda in brynmawr Wales and when I opened the packaging the smell was horrendous so bad that I couldn't even return it as I was retching from the smell not one to complain usually but was really bad
asda's apple and blueberry porridge
I was doing my 4 year olds daughters apple and blueberry porridge this morning . I put it in microwave and when took it out to stir it I was shocked to find a small bit of blue plastic floating in it so I took it out and took pic . I'm not quite sure if m going through right place to complain . My email address is [protected]@gmail. Com my name is Mrs Emma Louise belcher .
lorry driver
I was driving this evening toward Grimsby from the A1 north. I was joining the M180 from the M18 around 6pm, whereby the slip road joins as a new lane. I was therefore in the slow lane, and one of your lorry drivers was in the middle lane (having already been on the M180). I had slowed to let the lorry pass me and get into the slow lane. However as I was still alongside the lorry, the driver pulled into the slow lane, and would have collided with me if I had not took action and swerved into the hard shoulder. I don't believe the driver ever saw me join the motorway and would like to highlight the issue to yourselves.
online shopping delivery
Good Afternoon
Delivery to Mrs K Leroux, Grange Farm, Grange Road, Northway, Tewkesbury, GL20 8HZ on the 22/8/17 at a cost of £131.18
We have been using Morrisons for a while, but decided to try Asda as your prices were slightly more competitive.
Unfortunately your service has not been very good im afraid, 90% of our shopping is fresh products and obviously the sell by dates are extremely important.
The main foodstuffs had sell by dates finishing one to two days after we received them, this is not good enough when you are buying for at least a weeks shop for 5 people.
We have now had to throw away around half of our shop due to items being out of date after only purchasing two days before.
It makes me wonder whether you palm off your nearly out of date food to online customers as i have never had this experience with other online supermarkets.
I look forward to your comments and offer of compensation in due course.
Kind regards
Kerrie Leroux
delivery

online delivery
Placed an online grocery order on Thursday 17th for about £155.00 . My order was delivered but when it arrived it didn't look very much so I questioned the driver and asked if their was any more, to his reply "no"
When I checked I was quite a lot missing, about £25 which Is quite a lot .
I did call customer service who said if it wasn't delivered before my time slot they'd reimburse me . Which they have done .
But my complaint is of the inconvenience, I now have to out and buy the rest of my shopping which defeats the object of an online delivery
sweet chili and grilled peppers
I purchased this product yesterday and when I opened it it was mostly liquid with very few pieces of cottage cheese in it. I was very disappointed as I frequently buy this product as it is handy for lunch at work as I have no cooking facilities etc. The sell by date is 27/08 and the code is 13:01 F2 T4 BBX Y. Perhaps you will look into this for me. THis was bought from your Cannock store.
Thank you - Madeline Farnell
meat inflating the packaging by the time I had returned home 15-20 minutes from the store
On Sunday 13th August I bought a packet of "4 Hot and Spicy Beef Kofta Kebabs. These had an expiry date of the 13th. However by the time I had arrived back home only 15-20 minutes later the sealed packet was expanded. Obviously gas from bacteria already on the meat. As it is I had put them in the freezer intending to return these asap. Unfortunately I am not very well and will not be able to return to the store for some time. Despite being the in the freezer the packet is still expanded. At some point I will have to dispose of these as I would not want to contaminate any of my other food.
online shopping
2nd of August I ordered a nintendo switch.
Order number .. [protected].
I was suppose to pick it up today 5/8/17
I get a email saying order has been cancelled as not in stock ... this is not a problem.. the problem is asda took my money and now have to wait 3/4 days for a refund! For a product I didn't even receive.
Because of this . My son will have to go without a birthday present because asda has the money, I worked hard to save for. I don't get paid now till next mth. The lady I spoke to was as useful as a chocolate teapot. And basically said nothing she can do, as it's the system and I will have to wait. I'm devastated as it couldn't have happened at a worse time!
hgv driver
Driving on m62 between junc 8 & 9 at 8.25 pm 2/7/17, when one of your drivers nearly ran us off the road. (Motorway). Reg PK63ZDM.
He showed no consideration at all for myself and other road users. He was so ignorant. We could have been in a very serious crash or even killed due to his behaviour. I notified police, but due to circumstances they couldn't do anything. Due to fact I had to drive over approx 5 cones, the underside of my car has been damaged. I now have to take it to garage to ascertain how much, before getting boat back home this eve and paying for this myself. It's bloody disgusting how bullies can get away with this. Totally oblivious and didn't care. My daughters always shop in asda but I won't let them know due to that mans actions, he could have killed us yesterday . Something needs to be done

check - out delays
Visited your store at Pilsworth lancs 23rd july . Had a long wait to check out because you are adding to the self check-outs to ( I assume) to cut staff numbers on the tills.
This is not the first time I have had this experience .
I have decided to no longer shop in your store whenever possible.
I suggest you review your policy as to the do-it yourself tills.
click and collect service
I did my click and collect shop from wisbech branch today collecting tonight 07/07/17
My asda thick sliced chicken which I ordered turned out to be chargrilled chicken and 2 weeks out of date 25th June 2017. My little girl could have opened this and it made her very ill.
Very disappointed with asda 2 other items also missing from the shop
I have requested refunds but this is not the point
muller mini kids corner
I recently purchased some muller kids corners from Asda Small Heath store, my daughter had picked them off the shelf and I did not check the date as they do not last long in my house. After bringing them home my daughter had 1 and immediately said it tasted funny. On saying this I checked the date and saw 03 June. It was the 05 June when I purchased them. I think its appalling that these yogurts where left on the shelf 2 days after there USE BY date which could of potentially made a child ill especially as they are made purposely for children.
the big store in huddersfield
This evening I went to the Asda store in Huddersfield area code hd2 2LQ to get a little shop to last me and my two sons until Saturday. I spent £15.06 and the machine said my card declined on three occasions. I was highly embarrassed seen as I had just checked my bank before I went shopping and had enough money in my account. I went to the car and rang my bank to see what was happening they then confirmed that Asda had taken my payment even though the machine had stated it had declined so we went back into the store and complained the man from my bank personally spoke to a manager about the situation but the outcome was that I have to wait at least 2-3 days to see if my money comes back into my account I'm not satisfied that nothing was resolved and now me and my children have to go without for the next few days because Asda machine didn't work properly but still removed the money from my bank. I will no longer be doing my food shops in the store and Asda is the only place where we do our shopping.
