Working with Aspen Exteriors was truly a pleasure
Working with Aspen Exteriors was truly a pleasure. From getting started on insurance claim, walking us through the process and dealing with the adjuster. They handled absolutely everything from start to finish. Communication was a breeze. Our sales rep Connor was always there when I called with a question or concern. We were pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to get this project underway and finished. Crew that was here on the day of removal and reroof were so fast and efficient. We have lived in our house for 10 years and 2020 is the first year that we have ever had to submit a claim so we were new to the process. A lot of our neighbors used Aspen a few years ago and Aspen came to check on them after the hail storm we had. Dale came and talked to us and we were instantly at ease. We were working on starting our kitchen remodel and doing a new roof was not something we were wanting to deal with. Dale made the process easy and was there when our insurance adjuster came out. I would highly recommend Aspen to my friends and family. We recently had a derecho come through and I sent a message to Dale and he immediately responded. He said he would be down to check on us and it made us feel at ease again. Two claims in one year is craziness! Thank you to the staff at Aspen for helping us through this crazy times!
They did a great job on our roof. Clean-up was very well done, with only three or four nails left behind. We would recommend Aspen to others.
Aspen employees were helpful and professional. Roof was completed as expected.
Aspen was extremely responsive and professional from start to finish. The process was quick and easy and the work on the roof was excellent!
Very professional and good communication, completed quickly and did a very good job

Back in October we had a hail storm and we had a sales man named Andy Sahlberg that stopped by and he worked for Aspen Exteriors. He helped us with possibly filing a claim for the hail damage. He was very personable and very helpful, but most of all not pushy to have this done. He explained the process and helped us get the claim filed. We had some issues with the insurance company and he also helped with that. He had to come by the house several times because of the insurance company. We were finally were able to finish the process with getting the roof. The roofers that came were the nicest and they did the most beautiful job. They cleaned up and did not leave any trash lying around. We have gotten several compliments about how nice it looks. I would highly recommend this company and Andy. So give them a call and ask for Andy as your sales rep, and have Aspen do your roofing.
They only do half the job they were paid for. The replaced our roof due to storm damage and took a sample of our siding due to storm damage but never replaced our siding. They won't return phone calls or communicate with us in any way about getting the siding replaced even though they were on our insurance claim to fix it. They took over half of our deductible and we can't reach anyone in their company about finishing the job they were contracted to do. We had to then find another company to come in and fix our siding.
The crew did a great job. Cleanup was done very well, we only found three or four nails in the driveway, and, was expected considering the amount of nails removed from the old roofing. We definitely would recommend Aspen Exteriors to people we know for storm damage related repairs in the future.
I had the best experience with Aspen Exteriors. When the Agent came to the door asking if he could look at my roof I thought, as anyone would have expected, that this was a scam. Contrary to that thought, my whole experience was wonderful. The only hiccup was with my insurance company's final statement with them, and that was finally ironed out. I would wholly recommend Aspen with the Agents coordinating the job, and the crew that came and accomplished it in one day with a great clean up of the area.
Aspen did a great job. Everything was stream line and completed very quickly. They answered any questions I had promptly. Totally recommend them.
The Aspen representative came to our door telling us that of many of our neighbors were getting a new roof due to storm damage
The Aspen representative came to our door telling us that of many of our neighbors were getting a new roof due to storm damage. They offered to check our roof to see if we had any damage. After checking the roof they told us that we did have considerable damage. We then contacted our insurance company and they inspected the roof also. They found the same problems as the Aspen rep. They gave us a copy of the estimate of replacement to send to our ins. co. From there the insurance company and Aspen took care of all paper work. When it came time for the work to begin they did everything they said they would do. The day of the replacement we couldn't have been more pleased with the work that was done. The cleanup was wonderful. Not any of the tear off materials were left on the lawn or the deck. When all work was done we received a call from the company making sure we were pleased with the results. We will definitely recommend The Aspen company to any friends or family that need roofing work done.
I am beyond Angry Would not recommend ASPEN Exteriors to anyone! Do your research. Although the salesman is very friendly, after they got the insurance money, it took them almost 10 months to get the roof put on. Then only after multiple calls. Then it was not ANY of my choice of colors. I was also told they did not sub-cntract, LIE! Then the crew just showed up without any notice to me upset that nothing was moved. Instead of moving items, they broke all my landscape fences. The crew did a horrible job and just threw the old items all over and did a horrible clean-up. After complaining, I was told they would come and reclean which they never did. I got a $100 credit for my broken fences and poor clean-up. The next DAY singles started falling off. I called and still, no one has come out to reinspect. THEN I got a bill for an additional $5000 due to additional items needed. Now I am getting daily calls for the remaining balance. The best part of all is I have video cameras so I can see them smoking on my property throwing cigarettes down on my lawn. I can see them tossing old shingles off my high slope roof and hitting my neighbors' tailer. Yet they still deny it. The most dishonest and disrespectful company EVER!
Aspen Exteriors did a great job on my roof. Able to work with my insurance company directly. The crew that installed did an excellent job cleaning up and doing the best they could to protect plants and flowers around the house. Time will tell if they have fixed the issues of leaking that I had.
Aspen has been prompt and attentive in communicating the entire claims procedure. I would recommend them to anyone needing a storm related claim. The crew was professional and did a great job. Amazing clean up. Found a few nails but to be expected with thousands of nails coming off the roof. I honestly can't say enough good thing about Aspen Exteriors.

I noticed a representative of Aspen in my neighborhood while I was "inspecting" my roof after a severe storm blew through. I came down and approached him and discussed the possibility of damage to my roof. He recommended that I contact my insurer and file a claim. So I did. Funny enough, that was the hardest part of the entire process of getting my roof replaced. I passed along to Aspen, information that my insurer provided me, and Aspen pretty much took it from there. A representative of Aspen actually stopped by my house (twice!) to check in with me and answer questions I had. The rep also had shingle samples to aid in deciding on a color. Aspen took care of EVERYTHING; -They came and met with my insurance adjuster on my behalf. -Ordered and shipped materials right to my driveway. -Had a dumpster delivered and hauled away. -Scheduled the roofers. -EVERYTHING. Based on my experience, Aspen is a top notch company that far exceeded my expectations. I'm very much a satisfied customer. -Mike, Iowa

Our whole process started with a representative from Aspen Exteriors (Tyler), walked through our neighborhood and approached us about the possibility of damage to our roof during the derecho. He volunteered to climb up on our roof to survey the damage and found that we had significant damage that we could not see from below. Because of a possibility of damage to the interior of our house, Aspen patched up the damages right away. Our insurance company scheduled an inspection which representatives from Aspen volunteered to be present and go up on the roof with the inspector. We believe that made a big difference with the outcome of the insurance claim. Aspen has been great to work with during this whole process, from start to finish, keeping in continuous contact with us and providing updates along the way. Our new roof was completed this past week and looks great! A special thanks to Tyler for getting us started in this process and being available to answer questions, even while he was on vacation.

Aspen Exteriors replaced the roofing on both of my homes
Aspen Exteriors replaced the roofing on both of my homes. It was the easiest home repair I have ever "done." (Because I didn't have to do anything.) They did most of the work setting up the jobs with my insurance company and they knocked out the work very quickly (in a single day they stripped the old and replaced with new.) I became involved with Aspen late in the fall when the weather was turning too cold and wet. Therefore, while the agreement was made in the fall, the work was done in mid-March. I was very impressed that throughout the winter, I would get a call about once a month telling me that everything was ready to roll as soon as the weather broke. Although I wasn't worried a bit, the calls were a nice touch! The man I worked with knew what he was doing and he was good at it. The woman that kept track of me monthly was very personable, friendly, and knew what I wanted to know before I asked. I called her once and she answered the phone with a, "Hi Tyler". The crew that did the roofing were all over it. They also did a better job cleaning up than I had expected. A few weeks after the job I went outside to put a pile of cardboard that had been accumulating since Christmas into the recycle bin and found that they had cleaned up my big pile along with their construction trash! There was not one single thing about the process that was not top notch.
I DO NOT RECCOMEND Aspen Exteriors!
I DO NOT RECCOMEND Aspen Exteriors! The guy who "sold us on using their company" is a complete liar! We asked several times before signing contract what will we be liable for (as in $) and everytime he said only the deductible from your insurance,we are not after your $ we are after the insurance $. Should have done my homework better on this company. The crew was suppose to be here sometime wed-Friday. They showed up Saturday at 5pm left at 8:30pm and finished up sunday morning. They never told us they needed to replace wood and is no charging 310 dollars for 4boards. Ridiculous! Then 2 days later we had a top piece from a pipe come off and pieces of the shingles already breaking. They took 4 weeks to fix the piece on the pipe. Shingles still broken pieces. And now they say we owe 1310 for the remaining balance after my insurance already sent them over 12,000 $. Even though he repeatedly said we only have to pay our deductible. They also never told us they needed to replace 4 boards. If they had I would have picked them up myself and would not have paid 310 for them. On top of all of this they picked up the remaining shingles which our insurance paid for which means they are ours. Now they can use those for another job and still make the next poor sucker pay for them. This company as just been a pain from day 1. Oh they go door to door to get their business so beware.
Would not recommend ASPEN Exteriors to anyone!
Would not recommend ASPEN Exteriors to anyone! Do your research. We have not had anything but problems since the roof has been installed. First off it took 9 months after they cashed our down payment check to get our roof put on. When they came out to install the roof they came at approximately 2 pm in the afternoon and worked on the roof into the pitch dark of the night putting on the shingles and it shows. The shingles were thrown up and not placed or nailed like they should be. The starter row of shingles was not originally nailed down. They have returned and nailed down the starter row of shingles. Have been working with *** the Vice President of operations. He is told us he would get all the items corrected, when he comes out to meet with you and says he will get the items fixed himself. Then sends out other crews to complete work. The crews show up unannounced and might be there 5 minutes and say the check list of items are completed when they are not completed at all. The rake of the roof looks jagged where they cut it. They have attempted to straighten the rake but still looks horrible there are chunks missing and is jagged on the entire house. No one had been out all summer to correct the list of items but in December sent a crew and they spent approximately 15 minutes to complete a list of items they said they would correct. We had a local reliable roofing company come out and look at the roof and told us multiple items need to be corrected. To date those items have not been corrected. The valleys were done incorrectly, and there are shingles that are popped up. The drip edge has nail holes and is not laid correctly as it pops out in a couple of areas even after being fixed. Have been going back and forth with Nate as he says he has been out and fixed all the items. Have pictures of other crews coming to the house, but not Nate. Still have pictures of items that Nate said he would correct but has not corrected.
This was the worst home experience we have had to deal with in 15 years of homeownership (including a flooded basement)
This was the worst home experience we have had to deal with in 15 years of homeownership (including a flooded basement). We retained Aspen Exteriors for the replacement of our roof, once they were able to get an insurance submittal request approval. The initial customer service experience was extremely positive when Matt coordinated everything with insurance. Once our contract was signed, however, the experience was a complete 180, with lack of professionalism, courtesy & communication from that point forward. In early June, Aspen cashed our $5K deposit check within 24 hrs of receipt, then proceeded over the next 6 weeks to not provide any updates relative to progress & timing on scheduling the roof replacement. Aspen never provided a proactive update even though they cashed a $5,000 check. This differs from Aspen's marketing collateral where they seem to indicate a concierge-type approach to the roof replacement process-which turned out to be lip service and marketing only. The work started 7 weeks after our check was cashed, with a phone call from Aspen one week prior to job start after I called to leave messages weekly. Aspen would not guarantee or confirm the timing of the day of work since they do not have control over the crew-as we learned. The 3rd-party crew showed up one day that week to start the work and the roof was a 2-day job based on roof size. What we learned is that Aspen does not directly employ the crew, or have any direct/indirect oversight since the 3rd party crew that completed the work had no foreman on site that spoke English and could explain what was going on since we also had gutter replacements occurring that same week, following roof installation. When the separately-contracted gutter crew came out, there were some issues that the gutter crew caused that the roofing crew came back out to fix, which was appreciated. However, it was apparent that the roof was laid in an inconsistent manner, with the shingle overhangs different at different locations of the roof. What transpired from mid-July to early September included 30+ emails between myself & the Aspen-employed project lead, the owners of Aspen and our initial point of contact Matt. Over and over again, we communicated that the job should have a direct on-site foreman, in order to have quality assurances not made by a Facetime call between the 3rd-party crew to the 3rd party foreman located in Texas while we are in Iowa. Only through hours of painstaking documentation on my part, being my own supervisor (not relying on the company we paid over $14K to do the job), dozens of photos and emails questioning the integrity and professionalism of Aspen Exteriors were we able to get the job completed to our satisfaction. Finally, after a month of back and forth, our project manager at Aspen (Brad) and I negotiated a final scope, which was apparently not communicated to the crew or there was nefarious intent between the scope Brad & I agreed to versus what was communicated from Brad to the crew (bait & switch). When the crew came back out on a Saturday am in mid-August, again after no heads up on timing, the crew did part of the remediation we agreed to & attempted to leave. I was required to sit outside to supervise the 3rd party crew (still no foreman or Aspen rep to inspect/supervise given the on-going issues) for 4 hours to confirm and validate the roof work being completed was what we agreed to. The crew attempted to leave 3 total times that day, then finally claiming they ran out of shingles and would come back the next day to finish (they did not return the next day or again). I then had to individually point out to Brad each component that was deficient, inclusive of the continued lack of integrity and professionalism that Aspen clearly touts on its website ***). I then had to wait another 3 weeks for the off-site foreman to visit Iowa from Texas and complete the work himself. In total, the job is complete, however, this was the most painful home project we have had to deal with.

Aspen Exteriors put a new roof on my house last fall and it leaks around the chimney flashing of my garage ceiling furnace
Aspen Exteriors put a new roof on my house last fall and it leaks around the chimney flashing of my garage ceiling furnace. They came out this spring and said they fixed it but I have a huge puddle in my garage again after a heavy rain.
We hired Aspen Exteriors to fix our roof after a hailstorm messed it up
We hired Aspen Exteriors to fix our roof after a hailstorm messed it up. We got the green light from our insurance company, but only if the work was done as described. We made sure to tell Aspen to coordinate with our solar panel company, who was scheduled to remove the panels on 7/27. But after a week of nothing happening, we reached out to Aspen. They said the shingles we wanted weren't available, but offered a slightly darker color that we thought was okay. Work finally started on 8/2. But then the crew replaced our power vents with non-power vents without asking us. We emailed Aspen on 8/11 to ask them to fix it. And then on 8/20, we got their invoice, which charged us for power vents even though they didn't install them.
Representative came out on August 13 after the Derecho Storm and spoke to my husband
Representative came out on August 13 after the Derecho Storm and spoke to my husband. The sales rep said he'd take care of all our needs due to storm damage like roof, siding, and gutters. My husband signed the contract because the sales rep said he'd take care of all three and deal with the insurance too. A couple of weeks went by and the sales rep said he's only dealing with the roof issue. We wanted one contractor to take care of all 3 issues and deal with the insurance too. We called to cancel the contract on 10/02. No money's been transacted yet. His manager Melissa got on the phone and said we'd have to pay 20% liquidated damages fee if we didn't let Aspen do the work. We felt threatened by the manager and allowed the rep to come out on 10/3 to go over the specifications. The rep arrived about 10 AM with another Aspen employee and let us choose shingles. We don't have the insurance estimate and they didn't have a copy either as previously stated by the manager. No monies have been transacted. We don't trust Aspen because we feel they pulled a bait and switch tactic. We don't want to use Aspen because of their business practices. This is our home and biggest investment.

So, we had a big hail storm and it messed up our whole city
So, we had a big hail storm and it messed up our whole city. Two dudes from Aspen came to our crib and talked about fixing the damage. We had insurance approval, so we were good to go. They told us that if we went with a smaller company, it would take forever and a day to even get started. They showed us their ComplaintsBoard.com standing and the *** list standing, so we decided to roll with them. The first guy they sent out to talk about the color of the siding was drunk as a skunk. We called *** and told him we weren't happy and we were gonna go with someone else. But then, *** and *** said that wasn't how they do things and that *** would take over everything. We picked a color and they said they'd add a gutter and downspout to the side of our house. They said it would take 4 weeks and we gave them $5,000 to start. *** said he'd call us about fixing the garage and screen doors. This was all at the end of June 2022. When we called production, they said they wouldn't start without half the money and that *** lied to us. *** said we couldn't get the color we wanted and blamed it on the truckers. They took our money and now they won't call or text us back. We want our money back and some extra for the wait and the price increase of materials. We also want them to lose their good rating with the ComplaintsBoard.com since that's what they used to get us to choose them. We're super mad and frustrated.

We live in Lakeville, Minnesota. Aspen Exteriors Inc. worked through the insurance process after a hail storm in June. We have a large roof, project was completed in one day. Clean up was fabulous, the crew did a fantastic job making sure no nails were left behind. Have recommended Aspen Exteriors to friends, in Farmington, Lakeville and Northfield, MN. Will use again.
Run away from this company! The quote I was given and the final bill was 2000 dollars apart. Once we gave them the deposit it was well over a month before we ever heard from them. They would not return phone calls or text. When they finally did call us with a start date they were a week late from that that! All while my garage was blocked by a dumpster. The workers left nails all over the place. My granddaughter stepped on 3 already. If I have not made it clear enough, RUN Away from them.
It was great working with Aspen Exterior. They did a fantastic job! Everything went as smooth as possible. The crew worked very hard in 100 degree temperatures. They did not take any shortcuts and we were pleased with the outcome. They did an awesome job with clean up too.
