Punctuality, Quality, Value
Punctuality, Quality, Value. Key Exteriors hooked us up with a new roof last year and windows this year. Right now, we're dealing with some wind damage and Key's got our back. *** Kesterkey's been putting in work for us and we're grateful. We'd tell anyone to hit up Key Exteriors for their outside needs.

Bad job done
Bad job done. Gutter guards not put in right. They came to look at it. Sales guy said there was a problem. Boss came 20 mins later and made me mad. Told him to leave. Few days later, someone came to do small fix. Job cost 13 thousand dollars and still looks bad.
Key Exteriors, Inc
Key Exteriors, Inc. did our windows and it was great. Bill, the owner, was awesome and the whole thing went smooth. Shane and Joe did the install and they were cool too. If you need windows, give them a call.
I hired Key Exteriors to fix up my crib and **** Kesterkey was my go-to guy
I hired Key Exteriors to fix up my crib and *** Kesterkey was my go-to guy. They did my roof a while back and it was dope, so I knew they'd come through with the windows, siding, gutters, doors, and chimney cap. The installers were all legit and they hooked up the finishing touches that my place was missing. I'd totally invite any of them over for a home-cooked meal.
I hired Key Exteriors, Inc
I hired Key Exteriors, Inc. for a new roof and gave them a deposit in November . Kesterkey was the guy who came to our house and we signed a contract with him. But in December, he called and said he messed up the quote and wouldn't do the job. He promised to give our money back, but we had a signed contract. We tried to work it out, but he stopped answering our calls. We had to go to their office and demand our money back. This company is not professional and doesn't honor their contracts. It was a bad experience.
I live in an old house and my roof and porch were falling apart
I live in an old house and my roof and porch were falling apart. I'm on disability and didn't know how I would ever be able to afford to fix it. One day, a Key Exteriors truck pulled in and used my driveway to turn around. The guy apologized for using the driveway and then noticed my roof and porch needed help. I was hesitant because I knew I couldn't afford it, but he told me they have financing assistance. I can't thank them enough for helping me and working within my budget. I would recommend anyone to get a quote with them. I will definitely call them for the rest of the things I have to fix.

In August , I gave Key Exteriors around $14,000 to put a new rubber roof on my trailer mobile home
In August , I gave Key Exteriors around $14,000 to put a new rubber roof on my trailer mobile home. But the outcome was a total flop. I've had them come out multiple times, but they still haven't fixed my roof to the level that a new roof should be. Now, I have water in my overhead lighting and severe water damage throughout my home, including my bathroom, hallway, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. My son came home on leave and called Key Exteriors twice. After the first call, he sent them three emails with pictures of the water damage. He called them again to confirm that they got the emails, and they said they would send someone out. It's been days, and I haven't heard anything from them. It shouldn't take them a year to fix a trailer mobile home roof, and it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place with a new roof.
We made a deal with Key Exteriors on 10/21 for a door to be put in within 18-24 weeks, and they took our deposit
We made a deal with Key Exteriors on 10/21 for a door to be put in within 18-24 weeks, and they took our deposit. After a delay in measuring, they brought a door that opened the wrong way to be installed on 4/19, after 26 weeks. The subcontractors said that Key Exteriors ordered the wrong door. My wife talked to a rep who said a new door would be rushed and installed in 3-5 weeks. After no contact for 7 weeks, we called 4 times before they told us on 6/10 that it would take another 4 months for the door to be made. I asked for a refund and they said we had to pay 33% and any materials cost. The rep couldn't give me an exact number and said a boss would call me the next morning. I wasn't called and I've contacted them 4 more times with no call back. I won't pay for materials that won't be made for 4 months and I want a full refund since Key Exteriors didn't meet their deadlines because of their mistakes.
Got new windows put in by Key Exteriors, Inc
Got new windows put in by Key Exteriors, Inc. on Jan 28, 2021. Sales guy said I needed new flashing and wood and shingles around the fireplace on the roof. There was a leak before but it was fixed. In Oct, I heard dripping and saw leakage on one side of the fireplace inside my house. Called KE to fix it but no one showed up for the first two appointments. Called again and was told it was miscommunication. Made another appointment but no one showed up again. Called again and was told guys were working on another job. Two window guys showed up instead of roof guys. They said they would send the roof guys but no one showed up. Paid $6400 for window and roof repair but they never made my appointments urgent or put me first. They made excuses why no one showed up. Want my roof fixed so no water comes in and my new window won't be ruined.

We signed a contract with Key Exteriors on July 15 for a new roof, soffit, fascia, and gutters
We signed a contract with Key Exteriors on July 15 for a new roof, soffit, fascia, and gutters. The work started in mid-August and was supposed to be done by the end of August. But it's already December and the work is still not done, even though Key Exteriors says it is. The roof is done, but there are still some repairs needed on the gutters and drip edge. We've tried to contact the project manager, but he won't answer his phone or call us back. We haven't had a walk-around inspection either. The owner came to our house and took pictures of the areas that need fixing, but we haven't heard anything since. They keep calling us for final payment, but we just want them to finish the job as described in the contract. There's a gutter that's angled the wrong way, causing water to flow away from the downspout. The drip edge is causing the shingles to raise up on the two front corners of the house, and there's some siding around the chimney that needs fixing. We asked them to contact us before coming to do any repairs, but they don't like to communicate and just show up whenever they want. If they're not going to finish the job, we want to know so we can find someone else to do it.
I hired Key Exteriors in March to give my income property a complete makeover
I hired Key Exteriors in March to give my income property a complete makeover. The initial contract included new windows, exterior doors, and siding. We made some changes to the contract within the first 30 days, and materials were scheduled to arrive in June with the job completed in July . However, there was a minor delay, and the job was on schedule to be completed by the end of August . We added a metal roof and interior framing in May and June . *** supervised the crews who came in over the summer months and installed a new metal roof, framing, siding, windows, and doors. Unfortunately, there was some very sloppy work, and the brand new roof was bent by the crew. The windows and siding were not level, there were leaks, doors with factory baked finished scratched up by the crew, two windows were the wrong size/style, sloppy trimming of siding, scratched siding, etc. We made a punch list, and we were promised that our punch list would be taken care of 100% if we signed our loan off so Keys would be paid. Then they ghosted us for 3 months, *** was fired, *** took over in December . *** told us that the framing was not up to code, and the roof would collapse when it snowed. *** would not authorize the framing to be redone to code, so *** did a patch job so the roof would not cave. *** would not replace the damaged roof section either. *** also found that the siding was improperly installed and pulled off the front. Then the project stood still for 4-5 months while we attempted to fix the bent roof. *** refused to replace it. *** asked in June if we would consider a discount. We sent an offer in writing in June and did not receive a response until November . Damaged doors have not been replaced. Damaged HVAC has not been repaired. The property has been without power for 18 months. *** told us to walk away, and he wouldn't *** us for the $10k balance on an unfinished project, and we've already paid over $80k. It's now January 2022, and there has been no work in 7 months. There's not enough space for more details.
We hired Key Exteriors to fix our skylight in May
We hired Key Exteriors to fix our skylight in May . We paid a deposit on 5/24 ($2,250). After 3 months, they finally came out and put in the new skylight. They said it would be the same size as the old one, but it was much bigger and they had to cut a larger hole in our roof. They also put in the wrong size screen and took months to fix it. They left debris in our yard and the framing looked terrible. We tried to get it fixed, but they didn't respond. The new manager, Josh, reached out to us a few months ago and said he would fix it. A crew came out and did some work, but left our attic open and only replaced 2 sides of the ceiling with new drywall. The man who finished the job did a terrible job and left huge gaps in the drywall. We found live wires that were not capped off correctly. Josh was not helpful and the owner never called us back.
I contacted Key Exteriors in September to purchase some additional windows for my house
I contacted Key Exteriors in September to purchase some additional windows for my house. I paid half the cost upfront. They were installed on February 28, poorly. I paid for wrapping which did not match the quality of work provided by Key with the previously installed windows and one window was not wrapped at all. Furthermore the inside of the windows were not caulked or sealed and now as the nights are getting cooler, my sons room is getting chilly. I contacted Key in early March and again in April, but due to COVID no one was comfortable coming to my house because I am a nurse. I contacted Jessica in the service department again in late July or early August and I still have not heard any word about when I can expect a resolution to this issue.

Work was contracted to replace shingles, gutters, soffit and fascia
Work was contracted to replace shingles, gutters, soffit and fascia. Issues concerning the installation were brought to their attention immediately after crews left the sight, some work was corrected. Other items have been ignored. The installation supervisor agreed, told us the install crew would no longer be used by Key, the repairs would completed and for our troubles he agreed to install leaf filters on the gutters, and we would discuss a discount. A second representative of Key Exteriors visited, and indicated the materials were not correct, and installation also was not correct. He created a list of outstanding items and indicated the work would corrected as contracted and damages would be repaired. Staff was assigned and we were told she would schedule the crew(s) to complete the work. All contacts with her responded with excuses and no results.

I contracted with Key Exteriors on June 18 to install a new front door and screen door and a new back sliding door
I contracted with Key Exteriors on June 18 to install a new front door and screen door and a new back sliding door. I provided a $2,500 deposit. The contract that I signed stated the expected work would start in 8-12 weeks and be completed in 2-3 days. We didn't hear from anyone until August 13 to set up time to for the final fitting. Jessica left me a voice mail that they would be out on August 28th to do the final fitting and need a confirmation. I attempted to call her back a few times and finally left a voice mail that the 28th would work and that someone would be home. My wife left work early to meet them and no one showed up for the final fitting. I sent an email on August 31st inquiring as to why no one showed up and expressed my disappointment with the lack of communication and was looking to end the relationship. My wife also called was able to speak with Jessica about the missed appointment and set up a new one for September 16th. I then called back and spoke with Jessica about the timing and that when they come to do the final fitting will be 14 weeks and that is 2 weeks past when they would start. It was then I found out that this fitting wasn't to be ready to install the doors but to make the final measurements to order the doors. I was very upset to find that they hadn't even ordered the doors yet and it could be another 4-6 weeks before they would be in and ready for installation. I was given the whole Covid-19 was delaying everything. I asked why wasn't there a call explaining this. I told her that I would be less frustrated if someone would have called and let me know that there were delays and the expected time would need to be extended. I told her at this point that I wanted to discuss ending the relationship. She said that I needed to talk to Judy and she would leave a message to call me back as soon as possible. I didn't hear back from Judy and then on September 11th I called back. When I called in Judy answered the phone and I got sorry I have you on my list to call back. I said who do I need to speak to end this relationship and she passed me to Josh the production manager. We had a conversation and I again got several excuses about Covid-19 and they had to fire people and was understaffed and couldn't find anyone who wanted to work. He offered to take $500 dollars off our contract and send us a gift card to go out and eat as a sorry for the delay. I asked him to send this in writing to me and he did so that day. I spoke wit my wife and she had concerns about their staffing and wanted to end the relationship. I responded to the email and said that we appreciate the concessions but wanted to end the relationship and to call me back. As usual I didn't get a call or a response to the email. On Monday I received in the mail an updated invoice with the $550 taken off and a $25 Visa gift card with a note say "have supper on us". This was aggravating as I had stated that we declined the offer and wanted to discuss ending the relationship. On September 15th my wife called to say that we didn't want the card and wanted to end the relationship and she first spoke with Josh who sent her to Bill the owner (he didn't give his name to her). During that conversation she felt he was not listing and only saying the same excuses again. At one point put her on hold and then can back to finish the conversation. She felt she got now where because she was a woman. She called me afterwards to tell me about the call and I then call back and spoke with Jon and told him that I wanted a call back today from either Bill or Josh since they were not available. I received a call back from Josh and I told him that I sent him an email say that I wanted to end this relationship. This was the 4th time I had asked this and they still wanted to bully us into this relationship. This call got heated as I was finally frustrated with this whole ordeal. I told him that I was done and that sending the card (Which was only $25 with a $4 activation fee) was not going out to dinner on them and that it was best a McD's meal. I was willing to spend $12,500 with them and with all the delays and frustrations I would have expected something more. He then stated that I was appreciative of all he as done for me and that he would hold to the 33% cancellation fee. I then again asked why since noting had been done or anything had been ordered. At this point I stated that we were done and this relationship was over and I would take this to the ComplaintsBoard.com and contact my lawyer and any more communication would be thru him as I was done with their company. That was went the call ended.
