This business needs to be shut down — false advertising for sure
July 11,2022 I called to place a flower order for a niece who had just experience a miscarriage. I was VERY CLEAR with what I wanted and the colors I wanted. Their website advertises ,"free delivery" and also has sale % off. Instead of verbally giving this person my Visa card number I was told to type it in on my phone. I did think that was strange. Then after the order was placed the person was reading back the charges and was going to charge me $30 to have it delivered. I asked what about the free delivery on their ad and was told the charge was for same day delivery. But she went on to say it would only be a "couple of dollars less, to delivery it tomorrow." Again, what happened to "free". A short time later I was called back and told the same arrangement had been purchased by someone else. I knew that was a lie, because this miscarriage had just taken place . I told them they were lying and that I wanted to cancel my order and that I had better not be charged. A few minutes later they called back and said that the flowers I had selected were not available ( initially, I was told they had just what I wanted) and would red and white carnations be ok? Again, I told them I had cancelled this order and had better not be charged and for them to NOT call me again. I proceeded to contact Visa and tell them what had happened and that I should not be billed. Ava's Flowers had already called and tried to collect. This all happened within minutes. The person I spoke with at Visa was super and took care of it for me. I do not understand how this business is allowed to remain in business when one reads all of the negative accounts posted.
Desired outcome: I would like to see this business become an honest one which can be trusted to delivery what is advertised.
Flowers for a funeral
First let me say I live in another state, I placed an order for a funeral for an arrangement I found on the website. I called and spoke to someone on the phone and she assured me that it would be like the first picture. I paid for the upgrade version so it would be fuller. So I was sent a photo of what was sent I'm so upset it looks like a child done this arrangement. I feel like I was taken for a ride from this place. And I have been trying to attach pictures and it keeps giving me error message. UGH! please email me [protected]@yahoo.com

I ordered a large bouquet to be delivered same day. The order was place online at 8:32 am on Fri 7/8/2022. They were not delivered on the date requested. I called early on 7/9 re: this failure on your part. This was in addition to filling out an online query on 7/8 after 7 pm, per your request. The attendent I spoke to was unable to get "the florist" on a phone call. It was then decided to use another florist. As of 3:49 pm on Saturday well over 18 hours from my original request the flowers have still not been delivered! I called Avas again and was told they could not get in touch with the florist and they were out for delievery, probably and should be delivered by 4. That is in 8 min from this message. Two florists, two phone calls, and several visits to your website. This is shoddy business.
Desired outcome: The effort I have had to go to get these flowers delivered was above and beyound. I should have all my money refunded. YOUR COMPANY DID NOT FULLFILL YOUR PROMISE.

These guys are absolutely worthless. DO NOT order flowers from these clowns. They kept pushing back the delivery date on various occasions with awful input or communication skills. I had contacted them multiple times with very extensive hold times and each time it was an absolute struggle. The last message I had received was another message pushing back my order. When I contacted them I had explained I was tired of the run around and unfulfilled promises. I wanted my order taken care of. After explaining I didn't want them to push the delivery date back AGAIN they put me on hold during mid conversation and completely cut me off. After 30 minutes holding time I hung up and was going to call back later as I was busy at work. A minute later I received a text stating they gave me a refund and cancelled my order. These guys have far BELOW average customer service and the service they provide they do a poor job of. Save your time money, and frustration and order elsewhere. Would give zero stars if I could. I am beyond livid with this pitiful company. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had from any type of establishment. I would not recommend these guys to my enemy. Dog water service and customer support. No one had a fix or an answer just transfers to various departments.

Flower Arrangement
I bought a bouquet for my mother from these scam artists the day before Mother's Day, 5/7/22, but after making the payment, I checked the receipt they'd emailed me and saw that they'd charged me a $27.94 "service fee" that was not listed on the bill when I made the payment. I immediately tried cancelling the order online, and I received an automatic message saying that I couldn't cancel the order. I immediately emailed them asking to cancel the order and issue me a 100% refund, and they never responded. I called them as well and no one picked up. They delivered the order the next day, and when I called them again after to get my money back, they never answered. I contacted my bank to dispute the payment, and Avas Flowers flat out lied, saying I'd never contacted them about a refund so they were denying my request. Clearly this company is designed to scam people and then insulate themselves from any negative feedback. They don't answer when you contact them, and they add hidden charges that are probably written in microscopic text at the bottom of the page or something. They clearly don't exist to help customers, but rather scam them out of their money.

06/29/2022 the company had several hours however they did not even contact me until after they had closed so I could not get in touch with them. They kept sending texts saying it was urgent I contact them, but every time I called, the recording said they were closed. Finally, I got back to my office and went on their website. I found an additional number and spoke with a representative. He told me my flowers would not be delivered today for the viewing but will be there the next day in time for the funeral. Had they made it possible for me to speak with them earlier in the day I would have cancelled my order with them and used another florist who could deliver my order on time.

Got mail confirmation of my order and delivery confirmation on the 23rd unfortunately, after checking with my friend, nothing got delivered.
I raised a support ticket with Avas flowers (ticket [protected]) and got a response asking to call them directly as they can not call abroad (?) for 3 day sI have now been trying to get them on the phone but the number is always busy.

Placed order 9362760 in amount of $310.75 for flowers on husband, and grandfather grave at Lone Tree Cemetery Hayward CA.Made it a point they needed to be delivered next day, May 27,2022. I was promised delivery, giving 310014 as Avas pin. By noon. There was no delivery. This was verified by Mai at Lone Tree Cemetery at 4"15pm on May27,2022.
Needless to say the emotional damage to our family is overwhelming.
I have spoken to the supervisor Analyn who told me my call would be recorded. She informed me the florist who's name she could not give because of confidentiality did not make the funeral arrangement, so that was the reason it was not delivered. She gave a confirmation number of [protected] of $310.75 to check with my bank for the refund stating she also sent me an email with that information. Unacceptable sympathy flower arrangement
Ordered white lily bouquet in vase with a cross. Upgraded to the premium and paid $119.00 after a $10.00 discount. Received survey almost immediately and gave 5 stars. Next day call said no lilies and wanted to substitute cremons; at the same price mind you. Said there was no pic of the cremons on the website so I had to look them up on the web. Sight unseen -- $11.94 discount, and viewing was in 2 days helped me say yes. Later got email there was no vase with cross.
I asked someone to take a pic since I could be there and I was horrified. The flowers looked browning, noticeably sparse. It appeared there were only about 8 flowers.
Had I looked at the reviews/complaints, I would not have ordered from them.
My yelp review will be brutal.

Flower delivery
I ordered flowers for mother’s day on May 3rd and requested them for May 5th. After calling for days and getting reassurances that the flowers will be delivered, today, May 12th, Avas told me the flowers were undeliverable. Customer service people lied to me. They didn’t offer a substitution despite their policy. They sent my refund rather than talking to me about the reason for the delay and their inability to fulfill my order. So, they messed up my mother’s day, took up my time, and never reached out to me until they texted me a refund to wash their hands of me. This is more than running out of flowers because of mother’s day. They mismanaged my order and were unable to communicate what was happening. Nine days late on a flower order is bad enough but I lost the opportunity to send flowers using another vendor.
Desired outcome: Send flowers to my mother. With an apology.
Ava's Flowers Floral Delivery
Flowers were ordered on 5/6/22 to be delivered on 5/7/22. When I got my confirmation email, it stated that delivery would be "flex delivery" and be from 5/7 to 5/10/22. When I called them on Monday 5/9/22, they apologized and promised to deliver that day and gave me a 15% discount. I received the discount email but the flowers were not delivered on 5/9, or 5/10, or 5/11 so I called them on 5/12 and was sent to a voice recording that said they were on flex delivery and would be delivered on 5/10 and then they disconnected the call.

Ordered flowers on Monday morning to be delivered to our daughter-in-law at her office and paid extra for same day delivery. No updates from company or estimated time. When flowers weren't delivered by tuesday morning contacted company through their terrible website only to get nowhere or even an estimated time of delivery. When i got an email late tuesday evening that the flowers had been delivered after office hours my heart sank. Her office closed at 4 pm so that wasn't possible for a delivery to be made. Where did they deliver flowers, why would they put delivered to an office that is closed? No one is available to speak with and if you call customer service they state information you can read online and then disconnect you. Where are these flowers and why would a florist leave them outside a CLOSED BUSINESS if indeed they were delivered?

Ordered flowers for my 94 year old grandmother. I am currently on the phone with a suppossed representative from Ava's who 1)will not tell me what city and state she is. Flat out refuses to..Why if they are an "honest company?" 2)cannot tell me why I never received an email confirmation of either my purchase or when the delivery did not get made. 3)tried to make an excuse about it being "very busy" with the holiday, 4)will not tell me that she will refund my money to my credit card that was charged right away and 5) began scolding me and telling me that I needed to lower my voice when I became upset as she continued on with her alternative attempts to "resolve" the issue other than saying yes to giving me my money back!
As I was writing this, I suddenly received a message that I was "receiving a full refund to my credit card." We'll see if that actually happens because if it doesn't, I won't leave them alone and there will be legal consequences. Thieves and liars will not be tolerated. We are hard-working people that will not stand for this. The better business bureau will be contacted, etc. Get ready, Ava's! Better give my money back!

Customer Service lacking for Avas FLowers
On Friday May 6, 2022, my daughter had surgery on her back in a hospital in Macon Georgia. I looked up florists for the area since I live in NC. Ava's Flowers came up in my search as "Number 1 Florist in Macon GA" so I decided to use them. I was not aware of the $25 dollar service fee until my credit card was already charged. The flowers never arrived and now my daughter is home. I have tried the [protected] number to speak with someone to no avail. I also found the [protected] and again, you cannot speak with a customer service person and it simply hangs up on you. This is a very frustrating situation because I am on a fixed income and a simple $42 purchase turned into an $80 dollar order. I would like a full refund! Your system just presented to me during my online search of my product, that the delivery date is 5/7 or 5/10, this is unacceptable. Your site mentioned COVID, please we know this is not an issue on 5/7/22, mask mandate has been mitigated greatly.

This company is a total scam rip-off artist. There are all 1-star reviews of their product with horrible pictures. My GodMother didn't even receive the arrangement I sent her (maybe a good thing) after seeing the bad pictures. But I was still charged over $100 for something that was never even delivered!? This place needs to be removed from the internet so that more people don't waste their money on flowers that will A.-Not be delivered or B-Will be delivered but not what you ordered and will look terrible anyway.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my ailing mother-in-law for a delivery 4/25.

I advised to cancel the order and waited another 10 minutes on the phone before I was told the order was cancelled.
Would never use this company as poor service all around.
They advertise as being local florist 'everywhere' but in reality are only order takers and do a poor job at that as well.
