I have taken a home loan with axis bank - retail asset centre. The name of the loan id power home loan. It is almost 6 months that I am paying my pre-emi.

Bad experiences :

Over a period of time only, I came to know that the persons approaced me are not the direct axis bank staffs. They are the third party finance agents. Normally, axis bank does n't deal the customer directly. They approace the clients thru the third party agents.

When I approach axis bank for converting my emi to pre-emi, they asked me 6 cheque leaves, and then they never processed my request for more than a month. When I call the axis bank rac (Retail asset centre), I didn't get a proper response. They put me on hold for 30 minutes and cut the telephone line.
Again, I called, and I got a reply like this "please contact the third party finance agent through which you apply for home loan". I was really shocked.

Another experience, when I tried to meet the branch manager, the front office female staff didn't allow me to meet the branch manager and she made me to wait for more than a hour and replied me that he is not in his seat. Again this is another bad experience.

I sent a mail to the branch manager to get my it interest certificate, still now there is no response.

There are many other experiences like this. My advice, please don't go for private banks for home loans, especially don't go to axis bank for home loan.

Very very poor customer service.

I have taken home loan from axis bank (account no : ph0050100025300 and customer id : 56848). after making several requests I have not received any principal & interest computation sheet for emis I have already paid.

Please provide me a proper solution for that.

i had applied loan for 6.5L housing loan in UTI bank, where as distributed amount is 6.1L, the emi paid is for 6.5L, even without paying the full loan amount they had collected for 6.5 L

Loan account number:

There is no proper response for several mails sent to UTI bank. after the transition for UTI to AXIS, i am not sure whom to contact by email.

Hi My Home Loan PH0820100092928 with Axis Bank, I have not received the Provisional Loan Repayment Statement For the financial year [protected].

Also the axis bank without giving any inimation and without proper date they represent cheque without any notification. Last month the emi credit on 6th and this month credit on 1st and cheque got bounced without sufficient funds.

The Representative of Axis bank took confirmation to debit only 5th of every month.

I am facing very poor perfomance with this bank.

I 100% support the above complaints. Iam from Chennai and I have also taken a Housing loan from Axis bank.
Unlike the private banks or few public sector banks, Axis bank doesnt have a common customer support team.
They dont provide a facility to view our account details online.
Adding to this none of their document mention their phone no.
When I tried contacting them, I never got the response on the first or second time.

The only advnatage over other private banks is the interest % and the advantage wrt to Public sector bank is their margin amount is less (U get more loan amount).

Never consider Axis bank in the top 5options of Ur list.

I agree with above complains, even I am strugling for last 3 months to get the loan enhancement, but their guys telling that some internal processes have been changed due to which there is no firm date to recieve the additional loan amount. Now my loan has been sanctioned but even after 20 days I am not able to get the disbursent cheque from them, they are still giving new excuses if I am able to contact them. Please never put this bank in you choice list.

Hi,
I am Thiyagarajan and I am also affected from Axis Bank, They are collected Home loan related documents from me and they are agreed once loan has been sanctioned then we will inform you and then only will put cheque but it will happen any time. Last month (Dec 20th) I received a call from Anna nagar around 12:50 and they are requested to arrange payments before 13:30. During this time I was on travelling and me only informed that executive. But Cheque has been deposited and its got bounds and they are debited from my account without my knowledge. Now I am requesting them to revert my debited amount in my account. And they are not processed my loan also due to Cheque bounds issue. And this is the first cheque bounds in my account due to Bank process issue. So please help me to get it. I am having a nightmare of a time trying to work with Axis Bank on my existing Home Loan. Recently the intrest rates went up and theu jacked up my tenure from 20 yrs to 23 or 24 yrs. Hence started my converstion with them regarding keeping mu tenure to 20yrs but increasing my EMI.
It has been almost 3 months now since my first request and the process is going on.
Their customer support personnels are mediocre and do not give a clear understanding on whats happening, unless you keep pestering them they dormant your request.
Worst Bank in India...

I would not have repented like this, if I would have read these comments before. Unfortunately, achored by one of my friends suggestion, I approached this bank, and from that time, believe me, both DSA & managers made my BP levels raise like anything.

Initially DSAs will make false promises like within 5 days or max of 7 days time to sanction. Once you fall prey to those promises, the rogues, can not understand your requirements and they start behaving like bosses. Some how, these DSA are in safe net and top management is least bothered about their customers.
I am looking for alternatives to get out of this bank.
My sincere, advice to all of you looking for home from Axis bank is a big "NNNOOO"

Money is getting transferred without my knowledge, when asking the account statement no response from any one . Can any one know from where I can raise the complaints, since customer care is useless.

I too have very bad experience with axis bank power home loan. Almost one year gone and till now ECS is not activated. Every month i used to get calls from collection department for EMI. Even though I submitted my ECS form during processing time. It doesn't happen. Second time I have taken initiative and submitted the ECS form again. However still ecs is not yet activated. Coming to interest on loan mant, Frequently getting letters saying based rate has increased to so much month after month. keep changing the interest rates on loan amount. Very poor customer support. No body picks up the phone and responds to emails. Guys lets not choose Axis bank for home loan. Only reason I chose axis bank for home loan is that there is no pre-payment charges. Other than that, every thing is worse with Axis bank.

I had exact same experience as vasub. Verbatim. My ecs was processed and cleared for first 4 months and they do not have a explanation as to what happened after which. Their third party collection team will nag you towards end of month and ask us pay the amount in cash and it is a universal ecs issue with Axis bank. Everytime a different agent calls and promises issue will be resolved from next month because they need to say some LIES and collect the money for that month. Then i was asked to meet customer care manager at south usman road office in Chennai ( as i declined cash payment) and even the customer support team at RAC had no clue as to why ECS was not processed. They coolly suggest you apply for next ECS.And if any calrification they gave a contact number and guess what? no one will ever pick up...such a shoddy service and false commitment...i have never seen such a poor customer service...

I had a bad experience with Axis bank. I applied for home loan and they took two months to process it. A day before registration they said, the loan amount does not cover the registration charges and the amount is less by 5.2 Lakh. really It was difficult for me to make that difference amount in a day time. They dont communicate properly to the customer. Bad experience. Don't ever go with Axis Bank.

I have been the pary to Axis bank as well. I never checked my statement earlier but in 4th year of my loan when I started repaying the principal amount as asked for IT statement for FY2011-12, It realized the big blunder in my statement. It started with one amount where full amount of 2Lacs supposed to be deposited against principal was not deposited in full in the same month but was partly deposited after 5 months. Realizing this I found more discrepancies in the whole statement of accounts. As of now they have adjusted part of amount and interest for the same amounting to Rs 15000 after fighting with them over period of 5 months including 2 months after BO from RBI is involved. I am still fighting for the rest. I would say prostitutes might be having more shame then Axis Bank representative including nodal officers and others. Still struggling to settle out the rest and I am planning to pay of my house loan in next two months.

I had loan from hyderabad. I agree they say that they are centralized but worst part of story is you cannot deposit the money into your loan account from out of city but I pushed back strongly from my native place in Punjab (as I has some persons known that branch) and finally got a workaround of depositing the EMI from Punjab.

I can provide numbers and email contacts of some persons in hyderabad bank so that you can talk to them during the bank hours or steps I worked on with my issue if anyone is interested.

Hello!
My case is entirely different from all yours. I'm selling my property to the purchaser who is getting the AXIS bank loan. During registration day, the loan DD was not ready; and one MR.SURESH from T.Nagar branch spoke to me through the purchaser's phone to sign the registration document and the loan DD will be ready by next day noon and I can go to the T.Nagar office and collect the same the next day.
I started laughing; Do these idiots sanction loans without any collateral and verifications? How can this guy ask me to sign the registration document without issuing me the DD? The reason given by him on why the DD was not ready was that the system was down and he could not print the DD and he needed to get the approval from Mumbai. Some story I could not understand!
I told, "No DD; No registration!"
Now tell me guys! Isn't my case different than yours? :)

Home loan process was like a nightmare. Lacks cross verification of the basic details. Everybody cares about own job allocated to him, nobody cares about customer's problems. Even seniors like Sales Manager did'nt even try to understand my increasing problems due to delays. Took a week for verifying the address in map with registry. Wasting another week for explaining details and for previous registries. I tried explaining that I may loose biana of 16 laks due to delays. He was least bothered as if he was the richest person on the earth and 16 laks was a small amount for him. Took another 4 days to find that the biana given weeks ago had a bigger amount. Why did they not tell me, when I gave them the biana. This is very simple exercise that biana should not be larger than the amount of registry. At last, I had to stay in the branch for one full day to get the things done. They made me drive 50 kms a day to get the pending docs. I dont recommend anybody to go for AXIS Bank for home loan

HI,
I have two saving and one current account with axis bank and i really love axis bank services thats why i opened my business account with axis but after that my bad time started earlier i was using saving account and i nver had any problem.
as i opened current account and i wanted to use online banking and i applied for online banking password and i got it but that password didnt worked and i contacted branch in sector 15 gurgaon, haryana 122001. and they were not helpfull and no one had idea what is the process to reset password for current account. finally they gave me a form and i submitted form at branch and they told me you will get password with in week but i didnt. i called them but they didnt have any information about status. after few days they told me that you filled wrong form so you need to start the process again with a new request.
I submitted new request on 2 april 2013 and they assured me you will get password with in 7-8 WORKING DAYS and not it is been 20 days and i havent got password. now if i call branch then branch manager (name Vikas) will say we are doing our things if you are not getting passwords it is not there problem and it will take some time.
Today 21 april i got call from bank staff (name dikhsit) and he told me that we have told you many times that you will get password we are working on it and why you are calling us again and again to check status and his behave was very rude.and the whole problem is that guy because he handle online banking queries at sec 15 gurgaon branch and not willing to help me because i complained about him to branch manager when he was not helping me and now he is not willing to resolve it and help me to get password.
Now i am thinking to close my all account with axis and switch to other bank. and i have business partner account with axis as well and we will close that as well because if axis staff donot me to help anything now if tomorrow i will have any other work with bank again they will not helpfull.
this is my last attempt to be with axis because i dnt want to disconnect everything with axis bank just because of one or two stupied staff even they dnt know how to handle customers.
now if someone can check it and help to get rid of those stuipd staff and help to make online banking working for my current account i will stay with axis bank otherwise i will have no choice because i dnt want to be bother about these things. and really i dnt have time to visit branch every day to just for nthing.
please help me!

I am ravi kant ray, have taken a power home loan from axis bank. my loan account no. is phr [protected]. the tenure was 180 months. but w. e. f. this month they have increased the base rate so, they have increased my repayment tenure to 186 months. I contacted customer care for increasing the emi and keeping the same tenure. the customer care person replied it is just not possible. you have to bear this. if you wish you can put a request but there is no chances of increasing emi and keeping same tenure. I feel like chested by axis bank.
If any body can guide me in this I shall be grateful to him. I am also looking for shifting of my home loan to some other bank too. the service provided by axis bank is really very bad.

I sandesh ramesh dhangade home loan a/c holder of your bank and my account no. phr057401956593. I have been sanctioned home loan of amount in 28, 20, 000/-. dated 21/06/2016 but my disbursed amount 26, 66, 921/- I want loan amount 26, 00, 000/- and new sanction letter issue in bank but not issue new sanction letter. already received loan amount cheque on dated 21/07/2016 amount rs.24, 00, 000/- and dd received on dated 22/07/2016 rs.1, 84, 544/- after the changes terms and conditions I have not received my new sanction letter and also confirm my emi details. I have not received my home loan kit.
I am really fed-up, feels dejected, feels cheated of rac loan department axis bank ltd, 1st floor, dhiraj baug, near hari niwas circle, lbs marg, thane west, mumbai-400602 branch. the relationship manager mr. rahul gaikwad never pick up the call, if in rare occasion they pick up never give concrete reply and never keeps word regarding promises to solve the issue.

I took power home loan from axis bank they keeps on disturbing on every disbursement of home loan never give the clarification. when I try to contact them they never even pick the phone. this is to bring to your kind notice that we are in constant touch with your employee mr. rahul gaikwad.

They have passed my loan amount has 26, 00, 000/- and when I have check online net banking system at this time amount is reflecting 26, 66, 921/- and without informing they have allotted rs. 66, 921/- for property insurance. kindly give me details of my home loan policies and also confirm that is it compulsory to take property insurance for home loan it was only after my several contacts (phone) I was informed about it.

I require only one policy which gets covered even after the policy gets expired.

So I kindly request you to look into the matter and solve it as early as
Possible.

Sir/madam,
This is Mr. Bijan Choudhury. This e-mail is to draw your attention over a harassment issue that I am facing since more than a week. With reference to our earlier communications you can refer the incidents, still, I am briefing the same in a precise way. On 6th December, 2018 I re-payed by full due amount of my earlier Home Loan in your bank. In Saltlake Sector-V, Axis Bank Loan Centre, I payed Rs. 5, 32, 398/-. After paying the amount the executive said that everything will be resolved ( I will get my mortgage deed and all documents back & all rest formalities ) within 15 days (Ref: Request No: 219085 ) . I fixed my later work schedule as per that commitment. I have to go to out of town for my job at the end of December and I fixed all my dates accordingly. Within 2 days ( i.e. 8/12/18 ) the Amount has been credited to your axisbank Loan Account ( which I got informed from HDFC bank ). But the credit SMS came to my Mobile on 12th December ( 3-4 days already gone ). Then after 3 more days, i.e. on 15th December, No Due Certificate came from Axisbank in my e-mail, where it was clearly mentioned that I & my co-applicant can collect my Loan Documents from Loan Centre after producing necessary KYCs and signature verifications etc ( I hereby attached the NOC copy highlighting the portion ). I therefore visited the Loan Centre ( Sector-V, Saltlake, Kolkata ) again today morning ( 17th December, 2018 ), where the office executives said that no Documents has come to their desk till date. I then called to your Customer care number, ( New Request no: 329570, is given ) where, with my utter surprise, they said that I shall get the documents in 15 days again. That means after 11 days of your 1st commitment I am requested to wait for another 15 days to get my all previous mortgage documents back. This is quite ridiculous. If I have to wait for another fortnight, I have to face severe issues as My all professional assignments will be messed up at the end of this year.

I request you to look into the matter, and if possible please return my documents at your earliest.
