Bare Necessities Lost My Order and Customer Loyalty
I made an order for about $70 on December 14, 2015, and the tracking information updated on December 22, 2015, to say it had been delivered. I was surprised because I was initially unhappy to find out that they had shipped my order FedEx SmartPost.
This usually means I'm going to be severely annoyed by the time I get my package. I don't see the point of SmartPost; the service is horrible, and it's basically USPS shipping anyway, so just take the stupid box to the post office! Anyway, I waited until the next day, thinking maybe a neighbor had gotten it or it would show up the next day, but it wasn't there when I got home, so I called the customer service line.
The rep acted like she didn't believe me when I said it wasn't there, and after I finally assured her that I had waited a reasonable amount of time, had checked with my neighbors and all that, she opened an "investigation."
I never did get any more information about who was investigating, but it seemed like it was maybe FedEx, since they said it would take 8 business days to get a response. Seriously? At least a week and a half before I am supposed to hear anything?
So I waited like a week and emailed hoping something had been updated, but didn't get a response until I called (after the 24 hours they said it would take someone to email me back, btw) and asked if there were any updates to the status of my order. I was put off again, with the added bonus of the rep giving me the impression she thought I couldn't count, I assume because it hadn't been 8 business days yet.
They said "up to" 8 business days, sorry for bothering you by asking for an update! Geeze, I'm so demanding. This was like 7 days after I first called, but it had only been 4 business days. I never got a response to the email, but to be fair maybe they updated my ticket when I spoke to a rep on the phone.
That was last week, and I still haven't heard anything. Because of the holidays, they still have 2 of their ridiculous 8 business days to get in touch with me, but they have absolutely lost a customer. If the problem is that it takes their shipping service 8 days to figure out where a package is gone, I think they have bigger issues as a company than one lost order.
I will NEVER order from Bare Necessities again, and I'm absolutely going to bring it up in every conversation I have about ordering women's clothes online. It should NOT take 12 days (and counting, because they still haven't done ANYTHING), to resolve an issue like this. I foresee a Paypal dispute in my future, which is about as exciting as the prospect of dental surgery.

Disappointed with BareNecessities: Bra Ripped in 3 Months & Poor Customer Service
I used to think that BareNecessities was the best place to buy bras and other lingerie. I gave them five stars before, but now I'm not so sure. After only three months, the mesh on my bra ripped. I was really disappointed, so I sent an email to customer service with a picture of the damage. They replied and said that I could exchange it, but I had to call them to do it.
So, I called them this morning, but I got disconnected. It was really frustrating, and I had to call them back later. When I finally got through, I talked to Toun and explained the situation. She told me that I would have to buy another bra because it had been more than 60 days since I bought it. I was really upset because I needed that bra, and I didn't want to spend more money on a new one.
Toun said that customer service wasn't available because of the weather, but she promised that they would get back to me by Monday. I hope they do because I really need that bra. I'm not giving them any stars this time because I'm so aggravated with the whole situation. However, I still want to give a shoutout to Jonte and Dana for being great. They deserve five stars for their excellent customer service.
Frustrating Experience with BareNecessities: Delayed Order and Refund Issues
So, I gotta say, I had a pretty frustrating experience with BareNecessities. I ordered a couple things from them, got an email saying my order was confirmed, but then found out that the items were actually on backorder. Like, why didn't they tell me that in the first place? So I tried to cancel my order, both by calling and emailing, but it's been three whole days and I still haven't gotten my refund. Can you believe that?
I had to call them again to figure out what was going on, and the person on the phone told me that they shouldn't have charged me until the items actually shipped. But they couldn't explain why it happened in the first place. So now I've had to file a dispute with my bank, which could take up to 45 days to resolve. All for something that I ordered and canceled within a few hours. It's just ridiculous, you know?
I mean, I get that mistakes happen, but this was just a whole lot of nonsense for something that should have been pretty straightforward. I'm not sure if I'll be ordering from BareNecessities again in the future, to be honest.
Very bad experience
Purchased something from this website www.barenecessities.com and received an incorrect size item. I contacted customer service and asked for a replacement and they agreed. They gave me a return address and I shipped everything back. They said I'll get a replacement within two weeks. That was over two months ago and still nothing.
I received a notification that Bare Necessities received everything, but I'm not sure about the replacement. They ignore me and I have no idea what is going on.

They advertised half slips for $2 only so I bought them and after they said it was computer error and I need to pay $20. What a scam!
This company scams their customers. They will not refund a bra I purchased that was lost in the mail and never delivered to me. They stated that if the package is returned to them by usps, then and only then will they refund my purchase. In year 2018, I have never been told this in my life by any online retailer, the consumer usually gets refunded or a new item is just reshipped, but nope, not Bare Necessities. Don’t ever buy anything from this company people. They are very dishonest company. I will never shop with them again, they stole my money.
