Boat purchase BIG MISTAKE!
I recently purchased a Nitro Z21Pro XL, made my final payment for the down payment on the 7th of June; (over 8,000 dollars)on an $83000 boat. Since all I was getting was 2 monitors installed and switching out the trolling motor I figured that 2 weeks prior to my tournament was sufficient time. I was told to turn in my boat that was being traded in on the 10th and then our boat would be moved in and rigged so I thought 2 weeks we got time; I was wrong, went in to location in Lawrenceville today the 20th of June and they keep moving my boat from dock door to dock door with no one working on it. Meanwhile, Tracker after Tracker is getting rigged and delivered to customers. The boat sales team is excellent, they try to keep us informed but whoever is in charge of rigging just cost me and my son our spot in state finals because they refuse to finish a job. I have replaced the trolling motor and two monitors on my old boat and it took me and my son who have never done this before about 14 hours collectively. Bass Pro in my opinion is only worried about pushing customers through to get their money and then make you wait because they got your money and now you are on the hook; pun intended. If you want a boat and you want it through Bass Pro, make sure it is a Tracker, or you will consistently be pushed to the back of the line. The rigging and tech team putting the boats together either need more help or need a new Management team to get the job done. During my visit I stayed for 3 hours shopping and checking to see if any progress was made, and nothing, they weren't even in the bay areas working on anything. The store itself is nice but I will never ever buy another boat from Bass Pro and I will tell anyone of my friends that want to buy a boat to go somewhere else. I am also going to post on my social media platforms this information because I know big companies don't care about the customers.
Recommendation: If you want a Nitro or anything other than a Tracker.... Go Somewhere else!!!!!

I grew up in Springfield, Missouri and my sister was recently transferred to the new yacht division in New Bern NC. My sister has been a loyal employee for close to 30 years and her job was "eliminated" recently because she didnt agree with the plant manager there. She has been told the company is leaking $24M a MONTH. (I find that hard to believe, but I am just reporting this). She questioned the plant manager's tactics around hiding efficiency data or altering it and for a general lack of quality control of boats going off of the line. This is COUNTER to how she ran her team in Springfield where QC was #1. The job loss has taken her into a deep depression, so it is hard for her to manage all of this right now.
As someone who grew up in Springfield, MO, I am actually proud of what Mr. Morris has become and know OF HIM just enough that he should be aware of these allegations and check into them.
Desired outcome: 1. Please let Mr. Morris know of her concerns.2. If he doesnt care, thats fine, she would like to know because she feels like she's witnessed a crime (stealing by way of fraudulent business practices).

I visit the store 11/2/2023 approximately at 1200 pm. The attached generator was advertised for $339.97. That was the price on the shelf. Please see attached picture.
I went to the counter and was serviced by Sara and she called Drew to conduct a price check.
I went to the area the generator was located in and said to Drew this is false advertisement and Drew said your right and apologize for their mistake on advertising the misleading price. Drew immediately removed the sticker for $339.97.
I then spoke with a manager name Cary, and she refused to honor the advertised price.
I spend a lot of money with Bass Pro Shop, and I would like for that price to be honored.

I was shopping with my husband and they did not speak to me nor acknowledge me unless I asked a question. They sold my husband and myself the wrong motor I feel on purpose just to not assist us as we are of color, and kept saying the motor would work for the boat we have that I now found out clearly stated the motor we should have. I am a woman of color and my husband is a man of color and because of this being rushed we were out of $800 and could not return the product falsely sold to us. Happend yesterday an HR before closing the dater was 9/3/23 I went to the front desk after putting up app. 35 and asked for a manager he said he would have someone else do it in two hours totally unacceptable so I finished the job myself at least 87 American flags was on the ground not cool and the manager was being difficult saying kids did all of them I can say for sure maybe 20 at max because of kids I even volunterd to put them up next time I only hope and pray that this gets to Me. Morris this was totally unacceptable.

Tracker boat sales/bass pro shops
I purchased a Tracker Pro 170 from Bass Pro shops in Michigan earlier this year (2023), I picked it up 05/17/2023. When I signed the paperwork I was told that I would get 10% off for the next two years, since I'm a veteran I got another year added to that for a total of three years. I had already known about the first two years because the salesman told me about it when I ordered the boat so I was happy to know about the extra year. Yesterday I purchased a battery for the boat but when I went to the checkout I was told that I couldn't use my military discount with the Tracker discount. part of the reason I bought the boat was because of the 10% Tracker discount but now I can't use it so what good is it? I called customer support and was told that whatever she was reading on the issue said the same thing about not using both discounts at the same time. My Question to her was why would I even get the card to begin with if it would just cancel out my military discount? And on top of that, why give another year of nothing? I did the online survey from the receipt and wrote about all of this in the comment box as well as checked the box to have someone call me but have not heard from them. So I guess if your a veteran the Tracker discount does not apply and if you didn't serve your country it does. I know some will say that I already get my 10% discount so why complain? And to that I say, why advertise about the Tracker discount and even give an extra year to veterans if you Veterans can't use it? If anyone else were to buy a boat they would get 10% off so either way someone gets it so why not Veterans? I'm sure bass Pro Shops can afford it.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response, as well as a change to the policy because part of the reason I purchased the boat was because of the Tracker discount.

Your motto says "crafted with intention for over 145 years" and that is exactly why I spent so much on them.
I hiked ONCE in Albuquerque, New Mexico right after I bought them.
I wore them again a couple years later during our ONE COLD DAY of winter here in Homestead, Florida.
I've stored them carefully inside my closet, on a shelf to protect them.
I took them out recently to break them in again for a hike I was planning in June. As I was walking around my yard, they began coming apart at the toe! The glue you use is defective. (See photos)
The soles are like brand new for lack of use - total tread as you can see from the photos.

tried purchasing a firearm last month, accidentally answered one of the new questions (21b) wrong, which apparently bans you for life from purchasing any firearm from ANY bass pro or cabela location.
my wife recently tried to purchase a firearm and they refused to sell to her because I accidently misanswered a question wrong on my app last month, which apparently now means everyone in my household is banned from life. the store associate got hostile claiming my wife was trying to do a "straw sale", to purchase the gun for me. first off, she was purchasing it for herself AND even IF so, I have a valid FOID card and CCL.
not to mention the sexist comments the store associate made about a female trying to purchase a firearm in FDE. apparently women are only allowed to purchase firearms in black... or pink I guess.

I’ve bought many guns in my life but never had so many problems than I did with Bass Pro Shop in Portage Indiana. I was purchasing a gun and filled out the appropriate paperwork and when a third sales person was checking out my paperwork he didn’t want to sell me the gun cause I put Sr. on background check and told me that wasn’t legal when I’ve been buying guns all my life and have never ever had a problem anywhere else. I explained to him I had a son with same name and he is a Jr so I put Sr on it so they won’t think he is buying a gun which he lives in Illinois. But he kept insisting that I can’t legally do that unless it’s stated on my license legally. Never had I’ve been so embarrassed in front of so many people and having someone that was so young disrespectful to a customer. It was the worse experience ever in a store and I will never be shopping at your store ever again!

You guys need to do better with customer service. The firearms departments at the Rancho Cucamonga location never answers their phone. Their orders department answered once, and directed me to the firearms depth which did not answer for about the 15th time, and was calling to ask questions about what I needed on the date of my pick up. Finally I received an email saying stating that I needed a valid california ID and to go to the store location which was a 2 hour drive for me. I was told I couldn't more forward because they needed 2 forms of ID. They don't answer calls to answer questions, and your email DOES NOT specify that I need 2 forms of ID the day of. I drove a total of 4 hours and a half, and waited for someone to help me for an hour only to tell me they couldn't do anything for me. I will not be shopping here again, and I hope you guys are more clear in the future to your other customers. Worst purchase experience for sure.

Fly rod/reel
We purchased several items. We got home, and discovered one of the rod/reel combos had missing parts. In speaking with the store, it was apparent it had been pulled from a defective parts area in the store as there was another one just like it missing parts--and the products were sold as complete, instead of being labeled and not sold. We returned ours immediately for replacement, they signed it as received Feb 7. Today is April 6. We still have no product. I have contacted so many times I cannot count. I keep being asked the same questions, provide proof, provide tracking, etc. I keep doing this, and doing it again today. I am searching for a corporate name/email to send this complaint to as I have nothing for the money we've paid. please contact me asap so I can go further up the chain with this. Let's start with the gentleman in the firearms department. An absolute fabulous bunch of guys. I walked out with $400.00 plus of ammo, great job thanks. Now lets go over to where you have books. I was interested in the gun values book. No price tags on any of them, so I inquired at a service desk that had 3 people standing around doing nothing. Was told to "go find someone in a green shirt" over towards the fishing department. So, I asked, you three not working (one of which was a manager). Well, I wanted a mushroom book too, instead I returned the gun book to its shelve and the manager giggled like he really didn't give a sh... t. Your loss Bass Pro. Now let's go to the exit. Remember I said earlier that I bought $400.00 worth of ammo at the firearms counter? I'm headed to exit, and I stop to show a gentleman my receipt and he indicated that the exit was "over there". OK, I go over there, asked a young fella if he wanted to see my receipt before I exit. Well sir, "I will look at it, but I'm not supposed to do this". Who is then I say? The gentleman over there can do it. Well hell, he is the one that sent me over here. I go back to him, and he says, "the exit is over there", well no Sh... it. Does anyone want to check this box under my arm or am I to just walk out? Get this folks, this guy is watching people walk in the store, not out bound people. Theft must be somewhat high you think. The thing is people, I was carrying concealed. Had I walked out with a box under my arm, someone see this and thought I was stealing, and the law was called I would be in deep sh... it committing a crime with a firearm on me. Do you understand the power of suggestion. You big brass people want to bet as to whether this goes anywhere.? I doubt it even gets read by anyone that can or will do anything.
