First, I got charged 3 times on 5 separate transactions totaling $960.72 for a $320 bed. I call customer service and they told me I have to call my bank to dispute charges because she couldn't see them on my account. After that aggravation I'm still waiting on my money. Then the next day I open the boxes to put my bed together and I'm missing the hardware. I'm very disappointed in this service. My bed is on the floor waiting on the parts. Hopefully I don't have to take this back because driving a truck with the gas prices is outrageous.
Desired outcome: I want my parts to the bed and my money refunded in my account that is owed to me. What are you going to do to make this right.
purchased a tv stand - no instructions and some parts were in ziplock bags
we purchased a tv stand in your winchester va store today. 65 inch real living tv stand with 3 shelves and 3 drawers. the gentleman said he one last new one in the back in stock. we bought it and took it home. we took pictures of what we found. we had parts that were in ziplock bags and NO INSTRUCTIONS. my husband was trying to determine if all parts are there and he was going to put it together. no instructions. called your customer care line to ask how we could get instructions after searching online for them for over an hour. the person did not act like they wanted to help. we asked if they could send us the instructions. he said it would take a couple days before they could research to find any instructions. this is completely not acceptable. if you could send me instructions - we would appreciate it or we will be returning asap. po# [protected]

Coupon problem
I received a 20% off coupon online on October , 2022. It was good until October 7. I tried to print it as a friend and I were going to share it and do some shopping. I had difficulty printing it but was finally able to get a coupon printed. We went to the Big Lots in West Mifflin, PA and shopped. When I got to the register the clerk tried to scan the coupon. She discovered that the coupon said that it had expired on Sept. 29. "But I just got it!" I told her. She tried to help me get the site on my phone. I am 68 years old and don't know how to do these things on the phone. I held up the check out line for at least 15 min. trying to get my email, but could not do it. It took me--literally--an hour and a half to figure out how to attach the pictures below.
My friend and I were unable to share the coupon and ended up paying separately and full prince. I spent about $40 and she spent about $75. We should have gotten about $20 off.
I don't know why I had such a problem with the coupon, but I feel that Big Lots should reimburse us the $20. As seniors, that $20 goes a long way to pay for essentials.
Desired outcome: We would like $20 refunded to us.

I went in to buy an office chair -- which I did. When I arrived at the checkout the clerk acted like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. I had my 20% coupon on my phone and when I presented it, she just looked at me like I was asking something unreasonable. We stood there in uncomfortable silence for a beat or two when she said, "the system is down and all coupons must be approved by 'her'." Then she called "her" to come up to grant me 20% off which she did. Whoever her and she is. They never scanned my coupon -- they just let me stand there with my phone out. (An explanation would have been nice. I would have put my phone away.)
Anyway, the man behind me asked if he could have the same discount. Yes, he was a Big Lots customer, but the email associated with his account is on his wife's phone, so no he doesn't have the email. I offered to let him use mine instead. I mean, the system is down -- nothing is being recorded on anyone's account. They are doing the 20% off by hand. What's the big deal? Well evidently, I asked for too much and all of a sudden it is a big deal and impossible to grant a courtesy to a customer under any circumstance. The discount for him would have been less than $5.
So for $5, Big Lots has lost 1 customer for sure -- maybe 2. I wouldn't go back if I was that man. I know I won't be back. Pity, isn't it? Two of your employees having a bad day have to ruin everyone else's day because they can. Pity.
I drove home. When arriving home, I called the store to speak with the Manager. I talked to Pam. Pam tried to blame Terri. Well, these names are useless to me because no one gave me their name in the store EVER! No one said anything about the survey and the $1000. gift card. No one said, "Thank you. Have a nice day." Nothing.
The cashier's name is not on the receipt. So here we are.

Online order from Stockbridge Ga store: inappropriately cancelled two times
On 9/4/2022, I completed an online purchase for a sectional which had been confirmed by store personnel in Stockbridge, Ga. as being in stock. The purchase was for a Broyhill Dancaster Navy Left-Arm-Facing Sofa and Right-Arm-Facing Bump Chaise. I also ordered the Broyhill Dancaster Navy Storage Ottoman which was to be delivered from the Marietta, Ga. store between 9/7 - 9/14/2022. The sectional was to be delivered on 9/5/2022. I paid for same day delivery of the sectional.
On 9/5/2022, an email was received stating the sectional had been cancelled due to insufficient store inventory and my credit card was refunded $1159.91. I then contacted the store manager at the Stockbridge store who advised the cancellation was a mistake because the sectional was in fact available for delivery from that store. She then told me I would have to reorder the sectional and I did so. I reordered the sectional on 9/5/2022 and it was to be delivered 9/6/2022. I also paid $99 for "same day delivery."
Today, 9/6/2022, I received an email saying once again the sectional has been cancelled due to insufficient store inventory. I called the Stockbridge store, asked to speak to the manager, and was told he was unloading a truck and was not available to speak to me. I called the customer service line and told the agent I want to cancel the ottoman. There is no need to buy the ottoman if I can't get the sectional.
The agent tells me the ottoman is being processed and he can't cancel my order for the ottoman because it is still processing! I am very angry about the handling of this online order. It was to be a gift to my daughter who lives in Conyers, GA. She has taken off from her job two days in order to receive this delivery! I am totally unsatisfied with how this matter has been handled. If there was an error when the first cancellation notice was sent, why wasn't this matter fixed so that it would not occur again!
Desired outcome: I want my money refunded for the ottoman. I WANT MY CREDIT CARD REFUNDED FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT I PAID.
Furniture, bedroom and living room
My husband and I purchased brand new living room sectional, a leather recliner and king size sleigh bed and sealy serta mattress from the Big Lots in Murphy, NC 28906 in late March or early April. We started noticing that we were itching and waking up with little red marks on us. Then my husband noticed when he was sitting on the sectional a small bed bug crawling up his arm. We have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of these bed bugs to no avail. We spent over $4000 on this furniture and have NEVER HAD ANY BED BUGS IN OUR brand new home that we just bought 1 year ago. This is a huge issue and we need to be compensated by refund or replacement furniture immediately. I will be contacting the Health Department and Better Business Bureau if we do not hear from you ASAP.

Poor management, terrible hours, even worse pay
I am an employee here at one of the northern Indiana stores. Recently, we've had many complaints about the manager being rude to every employee as well as the customers. She does NOT have good people skills and doesn't understand that the tone she uses is unprofessional and inappropriate.
Not only that, but she makes the schedules SIX MONTHS in advance and interrogates you when you ask for a day off. She is on vacation AT LEAST once a month, and sometimes they go as long as ten days. This is quite unfair to the rest of us especially the assistant managers, and one of them is pregnant.
When I was hired, I was promised at least 20-25 hours a week, for $10 an hour. I was okay with that, and I was scheduled about 20 hours for a few months. Then I started getting 15, then 13, and now I'm down to NINE HOURS A WEEK. I have a family to provide for, and I cannot do that with these small checks. It's not fair and I'm tired of trying to pay for things and I don't have the money.
In conclusion, I'd just like to say that Big Lots is most certainly NOT the company I once believed it was. Working here has stressed me out more than helped me out. The management is horrible, the hours are pathetic, and the pay is definitely not worth tolerating this nonsense for.
Genius Gourmet Keto Bars
I drove all the way across town today to buy these bars. I checked if in stock before I left and it said yes, 5 pack boxes of different kinds and single bars.
But nothing….not one anywhere. I checked just now and still saying they have them. I walked up and down every aisle with food in it 3 times each. I am never shopping there again. I thought it was worth the gas for the price plus my last order was melted. But, zap, zero and I’m 🤬
Their prices are not that great anymore on most things and this really made me realize what a sham they are now….they use to be great….so sad.

Broyhill power reclining loveseat.
We bought the loveseat last August and it was fine at the beginning then it would stick and the footrest wouldn't go down. It would stick for a while and be ok. It now is frozen on one of seats and won't go down again. I expected Broyhill to be a quality product. Is there a replacement part you can send to repair this?The store #5417 558 Battlefield Pkwy Ft. I visited Big Lots in North Charleston, SC on 07/05/2022, between 1:30-2:00.
I asked for a price check on an item. The cashier seemed to be annoyed that I asked for help. She then stopped her manager and ask him what the price was. He stopped what he was doing and grabbed his scanner and gave me a price. I thanked him and continued to look around for a few more minutes. The same cashier was stocking the end caps by the register. Her work shirt was too small. You could see the bottom of her stomach when she stood up straight. When she bends over you could see her butt crack! I was so disgusted. I was ready to get out of there. If I didn't need what I was purchasing, I would have walked out!
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate her wearing the correct size clothing and not exposing her BUTT CRACK!

Went to Big Lots, 7950 Giacosa Pl, Memphis TN 38133 on Sunday July 3, 2022 and witnessed employee wearing tight, black, daisy duke short shorts that resembled black panties. It was very ridiculous!
I can’t imagine this continuing and becoming the image of your store brand. If you don’t stop it soon it will become a standard you can’t stop.

I shop on occasions at the Big Lots in the Cedar Springs area of Spartanburg, SC. The last time i was shopping and checking out, the employee put my things in a bag in a hurry, he did not hand me my merchandise i had just paid for instead i had to reach for the things i had paid for and another employee was coming on duty and the one on duty was just in a rush to get off work instead of paying a customer courtesy. I went in there again today and his attitude was the same when i checked out as for as saying thank you plus he said something under his breath.

My wife and I bought a rocking chair from the Florence KY store in March 2022 and by June 2022 the bolts had fell out and the metal frame that held the chair together underneath had broken in half so we contacted big lots for a return with receipt and they would not return it. I would not recommend buying any type of furniture from this store..

damage to my loveseat and no real help from big lots
is it customary for getting no help from big lots i bought a loveseat yesterday hired someone to unload it since im 76 years old the center console was damaged beyond repair i called to see if they would deliver another and pick up the 1 i just bought they refused i asked the manager to call and let me know if they can help they didn't have the curtesy t return my call instead they had the salesman call me the box it was in had been damaged he was sore there was no damage to the seat could not see it untill it was brought into my home i have to hire someone to load and unload i feel i didnt get any consideration from big lots can you help ...Richard
