Donation Services
Donating plasma at BioLife Plasma Services has become a joke. On a normal basis, donations should take no more than an hour and a half. But lately donations are taking 3-4 hours. BioLife cares nothing about sticking to the appointments. They increase promotions to bring back lapsed donors and/or gain new donors, but refuse to increase or properly staff for the promotions. And, then they move new donors to the front of the screening line and those waiting to donate. I also believe that during lunchtime they "fudge" the tech to donor ratios, which puts donors at risk. I donate because there is a need, but this has become ridiculous and not worth my time.
Refer payout
Hi my name is Natasha Coley and I referred my boyfriend Brandon Levine to donate in April so that we could get the extra $200 for referring a new patient. it and he . He was rescheduled about three times. Because they we just too just to busy to take him so it took us into May 5th for him to finish his donation. He was given and an extra $50 coupon which they did not honor the only give him 25 of it and I only got $100 payout instead of the $200 for my referral. He was promised that we would get the $200 payout and he would get the extra $50and kept rescheduling him so can someone please fix this situation immediately thank you over today did not honor he only got 20 my email address is [protected]@gmail.com. ot phone number is [protected]
Desired outcome: 200 dollars payout like promised
Denied opportunity to donate due to age discrimination
To Whom It Concerns: Please allow this letter to serve as official notice that the Biolife Plasma Services has not provided adequate service to me because I am a 62-year-old senior and it is discriminatory on the very face of it. Had I been one of their contemporaries, in their age bracket, I would not have suffered such disrespect. The last time I wa...

I referred 2 of my friends. One didn't really like needless but he went because he wanted to help someone in a good way. Well they referred me wrote the cards. I never got referral bonus
Thank you. I feel they need a better system. Maybe have them fill it out on the computer on the questioner. I understand things happen. I called and can't threw. I donated and asked but they didn't know why.
Desired outcome: I would like my bonus
Compensation
There so called platinum level only receives 30$ on the first visit of the week while new people receive 100$ or more on there first weekly visit due to this wait time and time at the center has doubled not nearly enough staff regular donor compensation sucks they never answer the phone or e mails
Desired outcome: Fix the situation
Horrible management
To sum everything up. Needs a whole new management team. Horrible Customer service. Been a doner for years. And this location. Is a joke!!! Stood in line for almost 35 min. Ask peer to hold my place in line because I forgot my wallet in the bathroom. Unfortunately it was not on the bathroom. I quickly in seconds went to car to check to see if my wallet wa...

I made an appointment at the Broken Arrow Biolife facility, and waited for my turn, not really in a hurry at all. I explained to the ladies taking my information that I had seizures from epilepsy, but it was mainly brought on by sugar issues. I went through the intake process, a nurse, I'm assuming, came and asked me if I was allergic to tape, I told her that I wasn't allergic to scotch tape. Eventually I was taken back and my veins were assessed and determined very good. Then the lady who came to ask about the tape took me to her office told me that because I have seizures I'm not eligible. For three years. I didn't see anything on the site giving such an indication. Also, why take me back to assess my veins since the seizures were made known to start with? I can only assume that it is because I am a Muslim woman and I cover my hair.
Desired outcome: Be truthful and nondiscriminatory.
I'm filing a complaint about my coupon that I did not get fully paid for
I'm not sure if you all got this, but I'm doing it again. You have only 30 days to get the eight visits in on the coupon that I was using. Well the very first day of my visit that starts the coupon I only got $20 because they did not put me in the computer until after they drew my plasma which only got $20 that day but that started my 30 day. Which threw me...

I found a coupon online for $300 in five donations. I presented it to the front desk staff, who instructed me present it to the screener. After doing so I was told they would honor it, however they did not. When I called the center I was informed that they would not be honoring the coupon. At which point I talked to a supervisor who also refused to honor...

Blood in the plasma line, not my fault but still goes against me. I'm halfway through my "promotion offer" and suddenly I can't donate. Went in twice (my time is worth something also, not just yours) to be denied because of something w the mail service, huh? Need to test you again? They really don't care if you donate or not! They don't try to resolve issues, just pass you along to some other staff/nurse that doesn't have a true answer. Seems like it's because my donation amount was increasing! This company's staff could care a less if your time is wasted and they turn you away. It's fishy and the nurses behind the desks don't care about resolving problems. They're just as happy for you to walk away and, act like they prefer it! Definitely didn't try to resolve why I couldn't donate! It's a circus/zoo environment! Why schedule SOOOOO many that you wait 2 hrs to begin your donation? The white cards they fill out aren't correct re: how long each station takes. I've had a 3.5hr door to door donation time, more than the initial visit. Be prepared to be there a long time, which I managed, but then get denied for reasons like "mail service"? How does that go against me? They manufacture reasons! Waste of my time! The staff is overworked and it shows with their "I don't care attitude".
Unable to donate because I don't have 2 big veins
What is the policy and procedures to donate ? Do I need two bouncy veins or not? They don't know the anatomy of the veins so how can they insert cannula's into the veins?
Desired outcome: To donate
Customer service and managers
This place is terrible. Today was the last straw, I will never return to this location. They treat donors like trash and blame the donors for their mistakes. Don't bother asking any manager for advice or question anyone at this place, they will answer differently each time. Don't bother speaking your mind about your own body's health, the staff will turn on...

There was a quite a few times that I try to donate to complete my platinum program and also large promotion dollar amount. When it gets to the point when I have to donate to complete the platinum or to complete 8 donation promo, they check my temperature it's to high 99.6. And it's always the same number. Today I went to try donate my fever was high and it...

At the Middletown, Ohio facility, the staff has a COVID sign requiring everyone to wear the masks over their nose. (Duh, that's the only way it should be worn.) Anyway, many members of their own staff aren't wearing the mask over their nose. Lol. Other than that detail, the rest of my experience was ok. Longer than it should have been but it's good that so many people are donating. The needle had to be moved around leaving a bruise and then they had to switch to the other arm so another poke.
Wait time/insufficient staff
My appointment today was for 5:50am, I walked into the building at 5:39 and there was already a line just waiting to get to the kiosks. After waiting 10 minutes just to do the questions, it was additional 10 minutes waiting for vitals, after vitals I finally got to a bed at 6:05am and then waited 15 more minutes to get connected, it took over a half hour...

On Saturday, December 5th, 2020, the Greenfield, WI center was busy, as usual. I honestly don't know why they even have appointments, as it doesn't seem to matter. There are never enough staff to handle all the people BioLife allows to come in at a certain time. Anyway, everything was moving on as usual until I got to the cot. I sat there for 50 minute...

Iv was told getting covid injection would not hinder me donating. When I went in today, I of course got screened by the nurse bc I answered yes 9n questionnaire about vaccination. She ask 8f I had a fever, st, ect. I said no just a sore arm at injection site. Which is a common reaction. I said it felt like a tetanus shot. She said I couldn't donate by my...

I arrived at biolife 10 mins before appointment and was told that there was a line about 30 min wait. I waited in my car and no one called still after 30 mins past. This is the second time I was left uncalled by pager system. Not so mad about wait time more that I walk in and I'm at top list but no one on computer or in line to be at all. I'm just sitting down to Donate at 134pm my apt is 1155.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Appointments
I've donated twice a week for months now and ever since covid it's not even worth going anymore. You schedule an appointment at a certain time for a reason, so you should be check in and in a chair within 15 mins of that appointment like it always used to be. Now I'm sitting there for a hour or more before I'm even in a chair. What's the point of even...
Read full review of BioLife Plasma ServicesVery rude employee David
Today (12-10) I went in at 6:45 am to start the process of donating plasma. Everyone was helpful and nice until I reached David, who was an intake nurse. As I had been there 90 minutes and had waited three separate times, it seemed fine as I was waiting in the waiting room and my work cell phone rang, to answer it. I answered it and responded to an employee...

I agree 100%
This is 100% true. This place is so poorly run that it's dangerous. The staff is so overworked that many of the good ones have quit. This new management team is a joke. I've been donating here since the center opened, but I think it's time to find somewhere else. It would take LESS time to drive to Madison or Murfreesboro then I waste standing in line while they continue to push new donors to the front of the line ahead of those of us loyal ones that have donated several hundred times. I wish Mary was still in charge here. SHE knew how to run a center.
