return policy
Here is the BlueFly return policy: Returns must be in their original, unused, and undamaged condition with all tags attached and all packaging included. Return time frames may vary and are indicated with each item's description. Pieces sent back after the return period or without original packaging and the security tag attached, will not be refunded. Our system prevents prepaid shipping labels and return authorization forms from being created past the returns window. Be advised that all returns have a 7 day shipping window from the day the RMA is assigned. Shipping charges are not refundable. *Important Note: Late returns will not be accepted past their indicated returns period and no refund will be issued. When I tried to request an RMA on June 22, I received the following response: Bluefly accepts returns of your requested item within 21 days of the ship date in its original, unused condition (including all original packaging and tags). The item you would like to return was shipped more than 23 days ago so on this occasion, we are unable to accept the return. I received my order on June 3. Using my math, 22-3 equals 19. I should have another day or so to return the item. I don't believe their return policy is very clear on the site at all. The dress I ordered was never worn - I tried it on and it was too big. It's still in the original packaging and has the tags on it. When I requested a store credit, they said they do not offer those anymore.
Parcel not delivered and they won't refund!!! Very disappointed : (
I have had multiple issues with my order, to my disappointment given I thought I would give Bluefly another try. I contacted mutliple times on emails and chatted to two different representatives- one said 'warehousing issues' and the other just kept going around in circles.
I did not receive my parcel sent from UPS. Their system shows it has! I have never had any problem with other sites delivering using UPS or USPS.
Amazingly they keep saying 'only one refund per account'. I ordered a parcel in 2014 and to me at a different address and was refunded on an item returned back to Bluefly and also for an item (I ordered 3 and did not receive one) that was not received..so really not much of a 'refund'- they just charged for not sending me the item. I thought I would try them again in 2017- BIG MISTAKE!
Per the consumer rights and consumer protection law -it is Bluefly's responsibility to ensure I receive the goods I paid for. I have not received the parcel and am out of pocket.
I expected them to re-send the parcel with items I bought, or similar, and ask OR refund but they have circling around the issue for over a month. Very disappointed and they are just not even addressing the issue.
Please DON'T use them..save your money!
I'm very disappointed
I have ordered a pair of shoes from Bluefly and they charged me twice. I did not notice that. When I received my order I was shocked to see two identical pairs of shoes. Then I called my bank and they confirmed that Bluefly charged me twice. I contacted customer service and explained what happened, they promised to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
When they emailed me back they said that they were not able to refund my money and also said how sorry they were.
I have no idea how that even happened but I'm very disappointed with Bluefly because they provided no help and refused to fix their own mistake.

This is the worst website ever! I do all my shopping online and never expected something like this! Well, I've ordered several items from Bluefly website and never delivered my stuff! Not to mention they charged some extra for shipping without my permission. It is absolutely impossible to contact customer care, they are totally unprofessional and never reply! This company is just another online scam! Don't give them your hard earned money! I emailed them numerous times, asked for a refund, but they ignore me! This place should be shut down!

My husband ordered me something from Bluefly as a Christmas gift! Order was place in early December, but nothing ever arrived. Their customer service was quite nice and gave us a store credit. But unfortunately I forgot the password to my account. I could not find a "forget password" button, so I contacted their support team. They promised to fix the problem. Two weeks later I contacted them again and they said they were very busy, but this time they'll actually look into my issue. I'm still waiting!
Awful
I bought a bag back in December with promises it would arrive before Christmas. Then I received a confirmation email and was told that my order is ready for shipping. Two weeks later I checked the tracking system and realized there was no movement on the label. I contacted customer support and have been in contact with numerous representatives and supervisors. They assured me it would arrive before Christmas. Christmas came and went! It is now January and I have no idea where my bag is. As an excuse they offered me a $25 dollar gift card! Thank you for ruining my sister's Christmas! I will not order from Bluefly ever again!
They just lost a customer.
I ordered three sweaters and they sent me all three in the wrong size. I did not do anything wrong when I ordered, they shipped the wrong size! When I contacted them they said they didn't have sweaters in my size, so they decided to send me items which were in stock. When I contacted them for the second time about returning and asked they said it is impossible. I don't know what to do! Those sweaters are just huge! I have S size, but they sent me XL! That was not nice. Now I'm stuck with three ugly sweater and lost $90! In other words, they are scammers! Very unfriendly customer service and this was my first and last experience with Bluefly.
wrong item
I ordered a desk and they sent a different one. Two months have passed and they haven't exchanged the desk nor refunded my payment. I filed a BBB complaint but the follow up is poor. Paypal, method of payment, said 'this purchase is not covered' so they won't refund either...I wonder why?

Recently I made an order. I have not received the product and I wont be able to receive the product. The customer service is really terrible. Once I noticed the shipping address is wrong, I wanted to change the address. I emailed to the customer service with the correct address. No response until the next day. The next day I received an email indicating that I need to call them. So, I called. However, I found that they have an automated system so that they cannot change the address or cancel the order. So, even though the address is wrong and they have not sent out the product yet, they plan to send out the product to the wrong address anyway. So, the bottom line is that once the order is made, there is no way to cancel the order. This is how this website does their customer service. The person at the customer service center called Chris told me that once the product is returned from the delivery to the wrong address, they would refund my money. That is the only way I can have my money back. So if it is not returned, I won't have my money back, which is quite likely to happen. Chris even shouted me. It is quite deplorable.
Returns
The worst customer service of any place I have seen. Carrying high end merchandise is obviously no indication of what type of service will be rendered. Pricey shipping I accept, after all, no one forced me to buy $200 costume jewelry, I did it because I really liked it. pricey returns I accept, because I wanted the cheap looking and feeling stuff out of my house. The delay in being refunded my money is not acceptable. They said ten days, and now on my twelfth day, I'm still waiting. Maybe they counted Black Friday as a holiday. If my money hasn't posted by tomorrow, I'm contacting my credit card company to do a charge back, and Bluefly can wait ten days for their 7 bucks in return shipping.
Once I have my money, I'm removing myself from their email list and I'm never looking back. BTW, Nordstrom offers free shipping both ways. How silly of me to have strayed...

liars and crooks
Bluefly is a bunch of crooks and liars. I returned a couple of items, it took an extremely long time for the return to be processed, when I finally received my refund, it was for a fraction of the amount due. I have called 4 times now and spoken with someone different every time. Every time I have been promised my refund, given a bogus "confirmation" number and have yet to see the correct refund. It is going on a month and a half now and I am at my wit's end. I spoke with a supervisor today who (once again) agrees that I am due the money but says the "credit department" MAY or MAY NOT refund me the additional amount owed and there's nothing he can do about it. Apparently, all the other times I called and was told I would get my refund, they were LYING to me, most likely in the hopes I would just get off the phone and forget to check my credit card statement. My only recourse at this time is to now waste MORE of my time and cell phone minutes calling my financial institution for a chargeback. Man oh man, this could have been a really nice shopping experience. Instead, I WILL NEVER SHOP FROM THEM AGAIN AND AM ACTIVELY TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK NOT TO SHOP WITH THEM AND I'M POSTING THIS IN AS MANY PLACES ON THE INTERNET AS I CAN. Hope it was worth it to you, Bluefly.

Like many others I put into UPS a pair of shoes to bluefly.com on the same day they were delivered. A few days later I noticed those shoes (when I ordered they were the last pair and only in the one size) were back online for sale however it is now two weeks later and I have yet to received a refund. I have emailed customer service three times only to received canned responses explaining that it takes 10 business days to 'process' a return, that I would received an email telling me when my refund would be sent to my credit card company and thanking me for my 'patience.' It is now nearly 3 weeks since I sent back the shoes and I have yet to see a dime. I have to pay my credit card or risk finance charges so will be stuck with a nearly 600.00 credit thanks to the glacial pace over at bluefly. Please note this if you chose to order from them.

HORRIBLE RETURN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I returned a pair of shoes due to the size issue on the next day I received my purchased. I received an email indicate that return will be credit within a 10 days period.
As of today, it's been over 10 "BUSINESS" Days after the return package arrived to their Return Center, and I still haven't received my credit back to my CC. I have tried to contact Customers Support twice, but they replied with an automatic message with no further response.
Obviously they are not willing to issue credit back for return.
Or they must have no one working in their return department, even if there is only 1 person, it should have been done by now.
Please reconsider shopping here to avoid hassle.

Poor customer service
I feel compelled to share my Bluefly experience here on measuredup.com for potential shoppers to consider.
I'd had a year-long $40 credit with Bluefly that was set to expire, so I purchased a shirt that was just a bit more than the credit amount. The shirt arrived, and it was too small. (As a side note, their sizing runs ridiculously small. I'd contacted them in advance to inquire about the sizing of the shirt in question, and they told me to order one size up, which I did. The XL shirt I received fit like a medium; I had to exchange it for a size XXL, and at 6' tall/44" chest/a trim 190 lbs, I've never required an XXL in my life; I'm wearing a Ralph Lauren henley shirt in size large as I type this.) I was instructed by their phone rep that Bluefly offers no direct exchange, and the protocol is that I'd have to purchase a second shirt (the XXL) though I'd receive a refund minus shipping once the XL arrived back to them. Seems like quite an archaic system for a 2011 online fashion retailer, but so be it, I figured.
Two weeks pass, and then I get an email from Bluefly stating that I've been issued a CREDIT for the XL shirt they've received back. I call the company to cry foul, and the phone rep yesterday agrees with me that I'm due the refund & she's sorry for the inconvenience. I get another email from Bluefly this morning telling me that they will only issue me store credit as per company policy.
What really irks me here is that I was promised TWICE that I'd be getting a refund, and then twice they reneged on their pledge. Now I'm left with nearly half the credit I'd originally had due to shipping fees, and I've paid them in full via my Visa card for a shirt that I was only really purchasing to use up my expiring credit to begin with.
Prospective customers take heed & make absolutely certain you're purchasing the correct size merchandise: Zappos they ain't.
No delivery for my Canon lens
I purchased the item from their website last month, I paid for that on 29 May 2010, but nothing has been received so far.
I have emailed them, and they said I will receive my item before 18 June 2010, but the factor is not like their said, as nothing arrived.
I have sent lots of email to them, but they rarely give me the reply. Last reply from them was on 13 June, they said they will ship the item on this Thursday, but after check the current status of my item, which is still 'prepare for shippment'.
Recently, I will not expect to receive the item from them, as I think their promise cannot be true.
They said their delay as illness. Maybe it is true, but how long will take them to delivery my item, 5 mins is enough!
I have contact ACCC to ask helps, and I consider to contact VIC police if I cannot cliam my money back after this month.

Their customer service is terrible. I made an order as a guest, without an account. Now I cannot return it. They don't answer emails, phone has a recording that the person I'm trying to reach is unavailable and calls go directly to the recording. On top of that they only give 14 days for returns. I believe all this is done on purpose to limit returns. I wish I knew, and need to find a solution soon.
