Zappos Customer service lacking, just like so many retailers

Wanted some shoes. Found them on Zappos but out of stock. Signed up to receive an email when back in stock. Rec’d the email. Ordered the shoes. No email notifying me about the shipment after a week or so. Checked online. Order noted that the shoes were to be here yesterday or today - but was also marked as still “Processing.” Looked for an email address; Zappos does not want you to write to them about customer service issues, so there is no email address to be found.

I tried the chat feature. OMG, what a PITA. I tried to send a screenshot of the order info but no go despite repeated attempts. Finally someone joined the chat, but it was between five and ten minutes between sending a response and receiving an answer.

I have up and tried again later. Same problems. It also took 30 MINUTES to finally learn that the item is out of stock. Then why not tell me that when I ordered? Why have your website state that the item was expected by today?

And why offer a chat feature that is total [censored]e?

I won’t be ordering from Zappos again. Too much of a hassle and terrible customer service. Not worth the trouble.

Bye Zappos. Lots of other options.

Recommendation: Buy footwear elsewhere.

Zappos Zappos.com Review: Slow Return Processing and Poor Customer Service Experience

Zappos.com is a website that sells shoes and clothing. I recently had an experience with them that I would like to share. I returned a package to them and it took them 11 business days to process the return. I had to call customer service three times to get it sorted out. The first representative told me that the package hadn't been processed yet, but that the returns department was allowed up to three business days to process a return. After 72 hours, I called again. The second representative told me that the return had been processed the day that the package had been received and that I could expect a refund to appear between 2-10 business days from the date of receipt. After 11 business days had passed since Zappos had received my package, I had still not received a refund. I called Zappos a third time and was informed that a refund had never been processed. The representative processed my refund while I was on the phone with him. Overall, Zappos held hostage nearly $2,000 of my credit for 11 business days after receipt. This is an absurd practice and causes unnecessary hardship to be experienced by the customer. I won't be ordering from Zappos again.

Zappos Mixed Experience with Zappos.com: Frustration with Customer Service

I had a bit of trouble placing an order on Zappos.com, so I decided to give them a call. The representative I spoke with informed me that I needed to create an account before placing an order. I was a bit confused and asked her why they didn't have a guest checkout option like most other places. Unfortunately, she couldn't give me a clear answer and just repeated that they didn't have one. I persisted with my questioning, but she eventually hung up on me. I was quite disappointed and decided to take my business elsewhere.

The next day, I decided to call back and speak with a manager. The manager was very understanding and even mentioned that they record all their calls, so they could potentially find out who hung up on me. However, I was a bit surprised that she didn't offer me any sort of compensation or coupon to win me back as a customer. It seemed like a missed opportunity to me.

Overall, my experience with Zappos.com was a bit frustrating. While the manager I spoke with was nice, I was disappointed that the representative I initially spoke with couldn't answer my questions and ultimately hung up on me. I'm not sure if this was just an atypical experience, but I don't think I'll be returning to Zappos.com anytime soon.

Zappos Disappointing Experience with Zappo's: Poor Quality Dr. Scholls Sandals

I recently had a not-so-great experience with Zappo's. My wife and I purchased a pair of Dr. Scholls sandals, but unfortunately, they were not up to par for the product. After only three weeks of use, my wife's feet were in bad shape. She's been using this product for 30 years and has never experienced such poor workmanship before. The leather straps stretched and the bottom of the shoes that contact your feet appeared to have not been completed in the production process. There were spots that were rough and being made of wood caused much irritation and blisters on her feet. Upon close inspection, it seemed as though they never finished the smoothing step. Some areas of the shoe were as though they were not sanded, leaving a surface that damaged her feet. Unfortunately, they had to be worn to find the problem, so they are not covered under warranty.

My wife ended up buying the same shoes from Nordstrom and had no such problem. As someone who is disabled and on a limited income, I can't afford to make many purchases, and I'm not sure if Zappo's would miss my business. However, I must say that I will not take a chance on Zappo's again. I'm disappointed because Zappo's is supposed to be a high-quality store. I thought I would let you know about our experience.

Zappos Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Zappos.com

I recently purchased two pairs of shoes from Zappos.com, an online retailer that specializes in footwear. As a man who wears a size 12 slim, I often struggle to find shoes that fit well and don't look frumpy. However, I was pleased to find that Zappos had a wide selection of shoes in my size and style preference.

The ordering process was quick and easy, and my shoes arrived within two days. Unfortunately, when I tried them on, I realized that they were not slim as I had requested. I immediately called Zappos' customer service line to see if I could exchange them for the correct size.

However, the customer service agent I spoke with was not very helpful. In fact, she was quite rude and seemed more interested in talking over me than listening to my concerns. She insisted that there must have been a mistake on the website and that I should stop talking and listen to her.

I asked if someone could check the warehouse to see if they had my size in stock, but she told me that it would take up to three weeks because they were "real people" and not computers. I found this confusing, as they had been able to fill my original order so quickly. Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that I would have to wait another 10 days for my charge account to be credited once they received the shoes back.

To make matters worse, I had to go through the hassle of wrapping the shoes and transporting them to a UPS facility, which cost me time and money. The customer service agent didn't seem to care about my frustration and lack of satisfaction with the experience.

In my opinion, listening is a crucial part of customer service, and Zappos' representative clearly did not prioritize this. As a result, I am very unhappy with my experience and would hesitate to shop with them again in the future.

Zappos Zappos Review: Reliable Online Store with Excellent Customer Service and Free Shipping

Zappos is a great online store that I highly recommend. I have placed nine different orders with them and every single time, they have gotten everything right with no issues. Plus, they offer free shipping which is a huge bonus! If by chance they do make a mistake on your order, don't worry, their customer service is top-notch. I once received the wrong size shirt and all I had to do was send it back with free shipping. The customer service representative I spoke with was very helpful and genuinely wanted to make things right.

I have shopped around at other online stores for Christmas presents, but I always end up going back to Zappos because they make the process so easy and efficient. If I can find the same item at other stores, I will still choose Zappos because I know I can trust them to get it right. I do feel a little guilty because I want to support other small retailers, but at the same time, I want a hassle-free shopping experience.

In my opinion, customer service is key when it comes to online shopping. If a company has bad customer service, I won't bother using them again. But with Zappos, I know I can always count on them to provide excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience. So if you're looking for a reliable online store with great customer service, look no further than Zappos!

Zappos Zappos.com Review: Fast Shipping, Easy Returns, and Amazing Customer Service!

Zappos.com is my go-to online store for shoes. It's so easy to shop from the comfort of my own home without having to deal with the hassle of trying on shoes in a store or waiting in long lines. Plus, their shipping is lightning fast - I usually receive my order within a day or two! And if the shoes don't fit or I don't like them, I can return them for free.

I did have a bit of a shipping mishap with Zappos about five years ago. They accidentally shipped the wrong pair of shoes to me three times before finally getting it right. Zappos Zappos: The Ultimate Online Shopping Destination for Shoes and More!

Zappos is the bomb when it comes to online shopping. They have a huge selection of shoes and other items, and their website is super easy to use. Plus, their customer service is totally awesome, and they usually offer free shipping both ways (for orders and returns).

I wear a size 11 shoe, and it can be a real pain to find shoes that fit in my small town. But Zappos always comes through for me. No matter how much I spend on my order, they always upgrade my shipping to free.

Ladies, you know how it is when you're looking for the perfect shoes for a special occasion. I was invited to a VIP event at the local Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and I had a fancy dress but no fancy shoes. I searched all over town and finally found something that I thought would work. But when I tried them on at home, they just weren't as comfortable as I thought they would be.

I knew I'd be on my feet for hours at the event, so I needed shoes that were both stylish and comfortable. In a moment of desperation, I turned to Zappos. I found a pair of shoes from a brand that I knew would work for me, and I called their customer service to explain my dilemma.

Believe it or not, my shoes arrived the very next day - without any extra shipping charges - just three hours before the event. I don't know how they did it, but I was so grateful!

One of the best things about Zappos is that they allow returns for up to 365 days after you order something. That's right - a whole year! Other companies could definitely learn a thing or two from Zappos.

If they don't have something you want in stock, you can even request an email notification when it becomes available again. So don't hesitate - use Zappos for all your online shopping needs!

Zappos Zappos.com's Customer Service Needs Improvement: A Frustrating Experience with Payment Issues

I was trying to buy a couple of pairs of shoes from Zappos.com and used my debit card to pay for them. However, the payment did not go through, so I had to call their 800 (or 866) number to place the order over the phone. At first, everything seemed to be fine, but the next day, I noticed that no money had been taken out of my account. So, I called again and was told that there was some kind of security issue and that someone should have called me with questions, but nobody did.

I provided all the necessary information, but an hour later, I received an email saying that the payment could not be processed. I called back at around 1.45-2pm EST on 11/22 and talked to a lady who was very mean and accused me of not giving her the correct billing address. I was shocked because there could not be any other billing address for this card! She was totally rude and threatened to hang up on me and erase the history of the call! I couldn't believe it!

I called back again, and this time, another representative was more accommodating, but she didn't know what was going on either. I asked to speak to the manager, and she told me that the lady who took my order over the phone assumed that the delivery address and billing address were the same. What?! I gave her the correct information 2-3 times! She ran the card and said that while it was not approved yet, it should be fine.

To make sure everything was okay, I went to the bank to check if the money was there, and it was. The branch manager couldn't see any reason why it could have been denied. However, when I got back to the office, I received another email stating that the payment was not approved again! I was beyond frustrated at this point.

I called back again, and the manager sent me to the billing department. They took the card off and input the same card again. Now, I have to wait and see if it will go through this time. This was the most frustrating experience I've had in 30 years of placing orders in the USA and Europe. Zappos.com needs to train their staff better so that they know how to do their job! If this issue is not fixed this time, I will forget about Zappos.com.

Zappos Zappos Review: Fast Shipping & Great Selection, But No Sales & Returns Not Always Examined Carefully

I love shopping online, and I have to say that Zappos is the best when it comes to shipping. They use UPS, and I always get my package the very next business day. It's so fast, I can hardly believe it! And if for some reason my package doesn't arrive on time, Zappos offers a 20% discount. This has only happened to me twice in the three years I've been shopping with them, and one time it wasn't even their fault. There was a huge snowstorm at their distribution center, and UPS service was closed in that city. Even though it wasn't their fault, Zappos still offered me a discount that I could use on any purchase on their website.

Once you've shopped with Zappos a few times, you become a VIP. This means you always get free next business day shipping. All you have to do is use the same account and email for all your purchases. I'm not sure how much you have to spend or how many times you have to shop to become a VIP, but I became one after shopping with them four times. And ever since then, I've been getting free next business day shipping.

One thing to keep in mind is that Zappos never has sales. So if you're looking for a good deal, you might not find one here. But if you need something fast, Zappos is the way to go. They have a great selection of shoes and clothes that you might not find on other websites. Sometimes they even have items that Nordstrom doesn't carry. I've bought clothes and shoes from Zappos that I couldn't find anywhere else.

The only issue I've had with Zappos is that they don't always examine their returns carefully enough. One time I ordered a pair of pantyhose, and they arrived already ripped and worn. I don't understand how Zappos could take back a lingerie item that had already been worn and resell it to someone else. If they examined their returns more carefully, this wouldn't happen.

Overall, I highly recommend Zappos for their fast shipping and great selection. Just be aware that they don't have sales and that their returns might not always be carefully examined.

Zappos Zappos.com: A Great Website for Shoes and More, with Exceptional Customer Service and Price Reduction Policy

Zappos.com is a great website to shop for shoes and other items. They have a good reputation for their service, professionalism, returns, refunds, and more. One thing I want to mention is that they honor their price reduction policy. If they reduce the price of an item on their site within their specified policy, they will refund the price difference. It's a no-hassle deal, you just have to go back online and look up your items to see if the price went down. You can call or go online to let them know, and they will auto-refund the price difference.

I also want to share my experience with Zappos in a certain situation I got myself into with Paypal. I had just validated my bank account with Paypal, which gives you better buying power on eBay. When I next paid for an extremely large order with Zappos for over $2,000, I paid through Paypal like I normally did. However, I didn't realize that once you validate your bank account, Paypal makes your bank account the DEFAULT payment option. You cannot change your default account and make it "stick"; you can only change your mode of payment during the last stage of each and every purchase transaction thereafter, unless you remove the validation.

I call Paypal greedy scumbags because they have the market on online payment yet choose a default option that no customer would want. Who would intentionally choose to pay cash out of your bank account instead of all the benefits and protections that your credit card would afford you? I nearly died a week later when I noticed Paypal took that money out of my bank account and all my auto-payments from my checking were about to bounce.

I quickly went through what I needed to return to Zappos, as I knew most of the shoes would not fit my difficult to fit feet. I called Zappos Customer Service to notify them of the return, hoping they didn't have a long wait with their refund process, and expecting them to tell me a week or so after receipt of my goods. You won't believe this! Before the goods even left my house, right while I was on the phone, Zappos refunded the amount through Paypal, and the money was redeposited two days later from Paypal back into my account. I'd never experienced such a wonderful, amazing, caring and considerate company as Zappos before in my life!

Now, I must mention that I'd purchased several hundred dollars from Zappos in the past and was a VIP customer, but still...! I guess they just figured that if they didn't receive the return, they certainly had the legal right to charge me again. Yet, I've never known a company to refund, without even a postal/ups confirmation #, only their own company's computer return confirmation # was used. Zappos.com, you're the greatest!

Zappos Zappos.com Review: Decent Shoe Selection, But Prices Are High and Sneaky

Zappos.com is a pretty good online store for shoes and other stuff. They have a lot of different shoes to choose from, which is cool. But, I gotta say, their prices are a little high compared to other online shoe stores. I think they try to make it seem like you're getting a good deal by offering "free shipping" and "free returns," but really they just add those costs into the price of the shoes. It's kind of sneaky, if you ask me.

I used to shop at Zappos.com all the time, but lately I've been finding better deals on Amazon or on the designer's website directly. It's just not worth it to pay extra for the same shoes. Plus, sometimes the shoes on Zappos.com are out of stock or not available in my size, which is a bummer.

Overall, I'd say Zappos.com is a decent place to shop for shoes, but you might be able to find better deals elsewhere. If you're willing to pay a little extra for the convenience of free shipping and returns, then go for it. But if you're on a tight budget, you might want to look elsewhere.

Zappos Zappos.com Review: Great Selection, Solid Customer Service, But Sizing Can Be a Hassle

Yo, so I gotta say, I'm a big fan of Zappos.com. They got a ton of dope shoes and clothes to choose from, but sometimes their sizing can be a little whack. Like, I'll order a pair of kicks in my usual size and they'll either be too big or too small. And it's not just a problem with one brand, it's like all over the place.

And if you do end up with the wrong size, it's kind of a hassle to get it sorted out. You gotta return the original item and then place a whole new order for the right size. Like, come on, Zappos, can't you make it easier for us?

But overall, I still love shopping on their site. They got a great selection and their customer service is pretty solid. Just be prepared to deal with some sizing issues and a bit of a hassle if you need to exchange something.

Zappos Zappos.com Review: Great Shoes, Free Overnight Shipping, and Excellent Customer Service!

I've bought stuff from Zappos.com a bunch of times and it's always been good. The last couple of times, they even gave us free overnight shipping which was pretty sweet. The last time I had to send back some shoes I got for my kid, but it was no big deal and the customer service was really good. I'd say if you're looking to buy shoes online, this is a good place to do it.

Zappos Disappointed with Zappos.com's Shipping Policy

So, I was looking for some new running shoes and I thought I found a good deal on Zappos.com with their free ground shipping. But, turns out if I had used their mobile app, I could have gotten free next business day shipping. I was pretty bummed about that. I tried to cancel or change the shipping, but customer service said it was too late because their orders process after 15 minutes. That's pretty frustrating, you know? I mean, I just wanted to save a little money and now I feel like I missed out. Overall, I'm not too happy with my experience on Zappos.com.

Zappos Mixed Feelings About Zappos.com: A Review

Zappos.com is a pretty cool website, but it can be a bit confusing at times. It's not as easy to navigate as some other sites, but it's not too bad. I noticed that they don't offer free shipping, which is a bummer. But let's be real, they probably just add the shipping cost into the price of the item. That's not really a good deal if you ask me. However, they do have a great selection of products, so that's a plus. Overall, I'm kind of on the fence about this site. It's not my favorite, but I'll still order from them. Zappos Zappos.com's Return Policy Needs Improvement: Frustrating Experience with Gift Card

So, my mother in law gave me a gift card for Zappos.com and I was pretty excited to use it. I ended up buying a few items, but unfortunately had to return one of them. That's when things got a little frustrating. Instead of crediting me back with store credit, they returned the money to my mother in law's credit card. I mean, come on! That's just basic retail knowledge that they should have gotten right. Now I feel like I lost part of my gift and Zappos lost a sale. It's not like I'm going to go to my mother in law and ask for my gift back from her. So now I'm not sure how often I'll shop here because I can't trust their system. It's a shame because I usually buy all my shoes and some clothes from Zappos.

Zappos Mixed Experience with Zappos: Great Selection, Disappointing Customer Service

I recently bought a pair of safety boots from Zappos.com, which is an Amazon Fulfillment site. Unfortunately, these boots really hurt my feet, even though they were from 2021. I decided to reach out to Zappos to see if they could exchange them for a larger size. I knew it was a long shot, but I figured it was worth a try. After all, I had only had the boots for about three months and I couldn't wear them very much because of the pain.

When I spoke to the representative, I was disappointed to hear that they couldn't exchange the boots. The rep kept repeating the policy to me, which was frustrating. I felt like I was talking to a robot, and not a very friendly one at that. I understand that policies are in place for a reason, but it would have been nice if the rep had shown a little more empathy.

Despite my negative experience with the customer service, I still think that Zappos is a great website. They have a wide selection of shoes and boots, including many from top brands like Carhartt. I have purchased from them before and have always been happy with my purchases. It's just a shame that my experience with the customer service wasn't better.

Overall, I would still recommend Zappos to anyone looking for a new pair of shoes or boots. Just be aware that their customer service might not be the best. And if you do have an issue with your purchase, be prepared to hear the policy repeated to you over and over again.

Zappos Disappointing Quality and Service from Zappos.com: A Review

I recently bought a pair of sneakers from Zappos.com and boy, was I disappointed! The shoe quality was downright crappy. I ordered a size 8, but they sent me a size 6. I mean, seriously? Who does that? But to their credit, they took care of it pretty fast. However, the size 6 pair had one shoe that was literally smaller than the other. What kind of quality control is that?

When I finally got the right size, I was relieved to see that they had removable insoles. Thank God for small mercies, right? But when I took them out, I was horrified to see that they looked like someone had dragged them across a dirty floor. Gross! I immediately replaced them with my own insoles.

Honestly, I don't think I'll be shopping at Zappos again. I'd rather pay $200 for a pair of custom-made therapeutic old lady shoes. At least they'll be good for my arches and I won't have to deal with ingrown toenail problems anymore. Did you know they numb your feet with needle [censored]s and shove wooden sticks under your nailbed? It's horrible pain!

Overall, I think quality is becoming an obsolete word in the U.S. It's a shame, really. But hey, that's just my two cents.

I decided to reach out to their customer service team to try and resolve the issue. I must admit, I was not in the best mood and spoke to them in a rude tone. But instead of trying to help me, they simply turned me away, stating that they cannot assist customers who are rude. I understand that customer service representatives deal with a lot of difficult customers, but I don't think it's fair to deny service to someone who is genuinely in need of help.

As a customer, I expect to receive good service and support when I encounter issues with a product or service. It's frustrating to feel like my concerns are not being heard or taken seriously. I've shopped at many other online sites and have never had to deal with such a problem before.

On the other hand, there are sites like Fsession that provide excellent products and customer service. They are dedicated to their customers and go above and beyond to ensure that they are satisfied with their purchases. It's refreshing to see a company that values its customers and treats them with respect and kindness.

In conclusion, while Zappos.com may have some good deals and products, their customer service leaves much to be desired. As a customer, I want to feel valued and heard, and unfortunately, that was not my experience with them. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more positive shopping experience.

Zappos Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Zappos: A Review

I've been a Zappos customer for a long time and I've always been happy with their service. However, my experience today was not so great. I had a discussion with a supervisor about a coupon that I wanted to use for an exchange. The supervisor was very rude and insisted that I had already been "educated" about the coupon policy a year ago. He said that coupons are only issued once and if I made the exchange, I would lose half of my coupon money by ordering another model.

I was surprised because the representative who helped me with my order five days ago didn't mention anything about this policy. I also don't remember being "educated" by Zappos about this policy in the past. When I asked for a record of the conversation, the supervisor became even more rude and aggressive.

I don't really care about the coupon money, but it's the principle of the matter. I had no intention of abusing their policy, but I would have appreciated knowing about it in advance. Even though I have three graduate degrees, including a PhD, I don't recall ever being "educated" by Zappos about anything.

In the end, the supervisor apologized, but I still feel disappointed. This will be the last time I shop at Zappos. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

Zappos Orders/shipping

I have been a Zappos VIP member since July of 2011. I loved the service and shipping and have recommended them for years. Once COVID hit, of course shipping times went to crap. That beautiful overnight shipping was a thing of the past. It was ok for a while. We are way past where we were in 2020 and I feel COVID is no longer valid excuse for poor shipping times. I used to be able to order something by 1pm and it shipped out that day. I received the package the next day or at worst the day after. Now, I made 2 orders on 03/04/23. As of 03/08/23 the orders have not even shipped! Customer service said my items were “definitely shipping by the end of the day 03/07/23.” Of course, that did not happen. So, now customer service says that my “package will definitely ship on 03/08/23 because she checked with her team.” Also, somehow customer service claims my packages will be here on 03/09/23 (the estimated shipping date I was given on my order.). I need these shoes for a trip and we leave early Friday morning. I will be shocked if I actually receive the items in time. So now I get to go buy shoes again and waste my money due to poor customer service and poor shipping. You can’t blame this on FedEx when Zappos has been unable to actually get the item on the truck to go out for shipping in 4 days. I will not order again and will not recommend Zappos again. The service has gone to crap and you can’t even get major shoe brands, like Nike, anymore.

Desired outcome: I would like the shipping and processing times to be fixed. Stope making excuses for poor customer service.

Zappos Uggs

I ordered shoes last week. For my sister bday. I get an email yesterday when they were due to be shipped, saying theres a problem with the card? What, why am i hearing this now?

So I call to resolve, they cant.

I have to use more of my time, to call back, because the wording in the email is not true; and either is your website.

I will be filling out as many google forma as possible to spread the word.

Thanks for ruining my sisters bday; our mother just passed and she needed a good day. The shoes my mom buys her, didnt show up, because of your company. Nice.

Desired outcome: To have the shoes shipped yesterday, for a problem to be resolved the time of not the shipping date- its too late; so at this point a credit which also doesnt make sense. You tell me!

Zappos horrible customer service

I ordered several pairs of shoes in several sizes from Zappos, which i smy practice and i have been a customer since ht ebegingn of this company. The box never arrived. I called them and they left me on hold for almost a half hour transferring me all around. They said the. box didn't come back to them. Well, it must have been lost or stolen and i asked they send a second shipment but they said they wont until the first comes back or i have to pay again. seriously? don't they have insurance for stolen things... so now i have to make a dispute with my credit card company because they wont give me my money back. i have spent literally thousands of dollars with these people and they are acting incredulous that the box did not arrive...

Zappos Zappos is refusing to refund me for my returns of $1500 - says they have not received them

I ordered a very large shipment from Zappos $8000), and because I had just moved, I misplaced a few packages and didn't realize I had received them. I then called Zappos and told them I found the packages. I then found that Zappos had put a hold on my account for fraud after this, even though I had been a loyal customer for 10 years and never had any problems. I was made to facilitate my returns with a representative in Jamaica, who made several mistakes on the returns label, mislabeling the sizes of some items. She told me, "Don't worry - they will individually scan each item and refund you." Now Zappos is saying many of these items were not received to their wharehouse, and are refusing to refund me over $1500. I have made countless phone calls, emailed customer verification, and they are still refusing to work with me. I sent them the documentation of my return receipts, and they said "we don't open attachments." I'm not sure how else to send the evidence? I have disputed with my bank, and now I am disputing a second time. I may have to sue them in small claims court. I have never had such a frustrating customer service experience, and I believe Zappos does not scan items individually in the wharehouse if you are not set up to get automatic refunds when you send returns (they did not give me the option of returning my own items through the system, because of the hold on my account they made me call to have a representative make the labels).

Desired outcome: I would like my money refunded

Zappos new balance running shoes

My problem is all the New Balance running shoes I purchased there seemed well used and reconditioned. Zappos has a 365 day return policy so many runners take advantage of that policy and run in them for several hundreds of miles over several months and return them. New Buyers then unwittingly buy well used shoes cosmetically reconditioned with non visible extensive usage to the internal running support the shoes were originally designed for and only purchased for.

Zappos non responsive customer service

I have ordered many times from Zappos. Everything went fine with them shipping the products via UPS with signature required. Last order ($106.33) was shipped USPS without a signature needed. U.S. Postal leaves the package IN THE LOBBY of a large apartment complex in San Francisco. I'm NEVER going to get that. Good God. The package was stolen. What a surprise. I wrote 3 kindly worded letters to '[protected]@email.zappos.com' (their posted contact email address) explaining my issue. I spent quite a bit of time drafting the letters including many details, along with my shopping experience with them. The letters were spaced about a week apart to allow them time to reply. Asking to please reship the one pair of pants and 2 caps via UPS with signature required. I have heard nothing in reply. I'm now making payments on a credit card for something I never received. And apparently no one cares.

Summation:

Zappo's is making me financially responsible for a mistake they made (not requiring a signature at delivery) and the mistake the delivery service (USPS) made that they had conscripted. That's just dandy.

Zappos Recent order

I'm extremely disappointed with Zappos, I bought many things from them and was always satisfied with prices and quality.
About a month ago I bought a pair of Nikes from this store and when I received them they were dirty. I contacted Zappos and was expecting to get high quality service, but after I explained the situation they simply said that was not their fault and responsibility. They claimed they stand behind their products and that they are sure that there were no stains when shoes left their store. As a customer why should I worry about that? That was their responsibility to find out what happened and they were supposed to fix everything! At least that was what they used to do in the past.
What happened to Zappos? Good old Zappos would never abandon its customer! Terrible service, I'm very disappointed!

Zappos Will never buy from Zappos again

I purchased several times from this site and had many issues with them. I was pretty satisfied with the quality of the shoes but these guys from Zappos made too much mistakes. They sent me wrong sizes, wrong shoes and etc. I wasted a lot of money when I sent shoes back. My last order was also messed up. Shoes were way too small and this time I did not even bother to return. I do not recommend this website, it's very hard to deal with them.

Zappos Customer unfriendly

Purchased a pair of sneakers from this website and Zappos gave me nothing but headache. First of all they promised me a discount but never applied it and charged me the full price of the product. When I contacted Zappos customer service they said that there was nothing they could do. The second problem was that my sneakers were two sizes smaller than I ordered! Contacted them again and asked for a refund, but they refused. Then I asked for a replacement and they said no again. These guys are the worst ever! Zappos is the most customer unfriendly company I have ever dealt with!

Zappos Scam charges! Stolen credit card information

After I purchased something from Zappos someone started to use my credit card and made several online purchases. It happened like the next day after I made my order. I asked Zappos what was going on and how did someone got my credit card information. They did not reply anything.
They actually did communicated with me about all kinds of different stuff but every time I asked about my card they ignored the question! Such a scam! Contacted my bank and had to cancel my card!

Hey pal, the online stores usually don't keep your credit card info, it all goes via encripted servers of the billing system.
