Mafia fraudsters! Keep out!
Just like everyone else's story starts, the sales guy promises you everything just to win the bid, so you feel like you are in good hands. That's the devil himself, lying non-stop.
On moving day the hell opens up and they execute their perfect con job.
The quote was a joke, when the movers arrive, the price is tripled. The movers didn't even act surprised, they already had the new contract ready. Pay or you are screwed because you need to be out of there this day.
You are told that storage will be free, and if you need to extend, just reach out back to the sales guy and he'll take care of it. Except, the day of the move, they cut you off from being able to reach sales, and you only talk to the gangsters, who read from a script and don't even bother listening to you.
So you pay for storage anyway. If you don't, you won't get your stuff.
Then, a day before delivery, they make you pay for the rest of the balance in cash! No credit card like before, and of course, nobody has that much cash on hand at a moment's notice. If you don't pay in full, they will charge you for storage again and make you wait forever to get your stuff.
If this sounds like a classic hostage situation, that's because it is exactly that same playbook!
Yes, everything is illegal and considered fraud, but they don't care. They are worse than terrorist organizations. I am contacting the FBI and Attorney General as that is what you need to do when you are blackmailed by a hostage-taker terrorist organization.
Recommendation: KEEP OUT! Save yourself from this EVIL!
I recommend Blvd movers
I highly recommend Boulevard Movers
to any who need a interstate move.
they are highly professional, friendly, efficient, handled our move from start to finish. Francisco Valensuela finished our move in texas and was super friendly, and got our stuff in storage without any issues. this is a business that has a great great team. we are moving again in a few months, and without question we will be calling them again.
I recommend calling Boulevard Movers 100%
The reason I gave him one star is because I cannot choose 0 stars
The reason I gave him one star is because I cannot choose 0 stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Had exactly same terrible experience with all other 1 star reviews, and I would give negative star if I could! They are totally cheating, don't trust their quote price. Their sales Alex Lavrov gave an initial quote of $1700 by phone and and update the quote of 2700 after he visited my home IN PERSON, finally I was charged more than $5500! After Alex visit my home and checked everything, he promised that would be the final price, he can guarantee this price because he have came and checked everything we need to move, and that's the part their company is better than others. And he's lying. When the mover came a few days later, they just told me it's impossible to move with my quote. Then they said they could try to squeeze all the things and keep my quote when I told would not move if they change the price. And after they packaged everything and took them on their truck. They told they had to charge more, and no way to keep my previous price. Also, their sales told me it would take 3-7 days for delivery, and it finally took about 2 weeks. Few days before the delivery, I received a balance due with couple hundred more than on the finally price with hand write number on the copy version of contact with the reason their previous calculation was wrong. I called their company Dispatch department couple times, they were rude and end the call every time with the same reason: give me some time to calculate it, I'll call you 15 minute later, and never called back. The most important thing is, everything was SMELLY after delivered, especially my MATTRESS and BOX! Couple damage and scratch on the furniture as well. I never received any follow up email about claim the damage. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOUR LIFE, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

All of the movers I worked with were friendly and efficient. From the preliminary sales forecast through the actual movers and their leader, there was not a single point of failure. Their service was prompt and handled professionally. But there's something I need to share with you... Charles is great, the perfect blend of friendliness, humour, and competence.
Excellent work. The movers did a fantastic job of packing all of our kitchen, dining room, and laundry room belongings. A kind greeting and some tips on how to get things done around the property were very appreciated. They finished on schedule and did a good job, so we didn't have to worry about it again. They have 100% of my backing.
They took excellent care in wrapping up the furniture as needed.
The movers we hired were quick, but they were also careful, kind, and skilled. They were very careful with our things and paid close attention to detail.
-This company low ball people first off and Long distance customer service girls were rushing you they didn't pay attention to change important
-This company low ball people first off and Long distance customer service girls were rushing you they didn't pay attention to change important info and chances are you will need to call at least 2 more times to make sure they got it
-company promised 27/28 came on 28th company promised between 8-12 driver called at 12 to tell me X:XX-X:XX then hiked up the price from $3000 to $5000 when they got done "assessing" my home with one bedroom set and living room furniture like i told them at my quote call
-Elliot and Marco packed everything thoroughly they were the only good experience of this whole process with Blvd Moving
-this company has terrible communication they won't call you unless you call them they only call to confirm your move with them and they do not communicate with the driver
-driver got sick 3 days before our stuff is suppose to arrive never called us once to tell us they won't be bringing our stuff on time and when you ask to speak to Matt the guy who gave us out quote and coordinate everything he basically shrug it off like "suck to suck"
-the driver didn't give us a 48-24hr heads up like they were supposed to and was extremely rude to my husband when we told him we needed a weight ticket he said that's not his problem and basically try to threaten he'll dump our stuff off in storage just the absolute worst. Told Blvd Moving we needed weight tickets they didn't relay this message to the driver and he got a pissy attitude with us for that mistake.
- driver wanted to be paid upfront which is fine but refused to drive 30 mins to the closest certified weight station to give us a back weight he literally said it wasn't his problem. Then had the nerve to ask for a tip after talking to us like children. Overall guys don't use this company no matter how sincere they sound about being a "family business " they DO NOT care about your stuff
They were helpful! Showed up on time. Amazing attitude and skilled movers. My things were moved safely to my new place with no problems. I recommend getting three movers, though, vs. two movers, as it would have been faster (and ultimately cheaper) if I had three movers.
The relocation experience with the company was spectacular! I would like to thank the team that made my relocation stress free. Great customer service; I would highly recommend BLVD Moving.
I was quoted $1500.00, when the date of moving came, the movers changed it $10,000. I only wanted my bed, refrigerator and clothes. Then I asked if only my clothes came the price went back to $1500.00. Then when they finally delivered my items, the movers damaged my yard and I have been calling every day to see when they'd rectify this issue and no one has responded. Please advise.
Bradley and Martin are top-notch packing crew. I've experienced many moves before, and this one has been the best. I appreciate their diligent, professional work.
(This was a cross country move
(This was a cross country move.) I do not recommend Blvd Moving, because move day was literally one of the worst days I have ever had, and it was because of the foreman and his crew. The foreman was very unprofessional and demeaning to me. Additionally, at least 2 of the packers had no idea what they were doing. For example, lamps with the light bulbs on them were crammed in a box with no packing paper. They used my other personal belongings as the packing material. Even after guidance, they were about to dump all of my office desk drawers into a box. What's worse is that they were going to pack everything without marking anything on the boxes, and I was moving into storage, and I had communicated this to the foreman many times. When the foreman first walked in my house, we went room by room, and he told me all of the boxes would be marked by room. That was my expectation because I have had professional movers before. I just expected that as "table stakes." When I noticed that many boxes in the dining room had been packed and moved outside with NO labels as to what room they were from or what might be inside (like a general label, "china"), I brought it up to the foreman. He acted very annoyed (at me). He went and asked the packers to start doing this. They still didn't do it, so I went back to him and asked him again. He was getting more annoyed, and I was very intimidated by him. Finally, my son and I followed the packers around marking boxes. I told them not to close any box until I could see what was in it and where it came from. This meant that my son and I were working 10 hours doing this. This is NOT what you pay professional packers for. And, I paid a over $30K. At one point, customer service called me to ask how it was going. I told that person it was terrible and gave her the reasons why. They then called the foreman. Then, the foreman was real

Excellent from quote to delivery. Price was $2000 less than the next best quote, with all the same licensures, bonding and insurance. Even had 2 other moving companies say there was no way they could beat the quote and 1 said, "I checked there record and it's very good." After speaking with the professional staff, who answered all of my questions, it was a no brainer. I was provided regular updates via calls, texts, emails. Furniture was picked up and delivered in the same shape. BLVD made good on their word and nothing beats that!
this mover company trhey fail to porvid the job base on contract that i have with them , they charge me and they fail to complite the job and forgeor fake my signature on the finikal copmay and know i cant get moeny back by visa and not only they damage my item they left me hange with out any support, i tried to dispute the charge , but visa saying that they have doument that show i agree to final drop off , i am hgetting frushtated and lefr in side with no service that was done this comapny theyt do fake promiss fake signature on my contrac , i am seeking help and need this company to reposnd me bakc
The gentlemen were amiable. They moved fast but took extra care with our furnishings. They wrapped our wood furniture in cling wrap to protect it and keep the drawers from falling out. I can't recommend them enough! They came during the time window I had booked.
Good, honest business brings more business. It is tricky finding a real business these days, especially when it comes to moving companies. I refer to this moving company for their excellent work, honesty, and efficiency. We used them today and will use them for our future moves and recommend them to our friends and realtors. Wishing you lots of success.
Here's the general run down of my terrible experience dealing with this company
Here's the general run down of my terrible experience dealing with this company. I've spoken to multiple people in the company about this over the last few months. First off the company records all phone calls. My original complaint was their dispatch employee told me they were taking my things out of storage and the delivery date was not a problem. The company then charged me for an additional months storage and did not email theinvoice, even though they sent an invoice for all previous billings and the dispatch told me she was taking my stuff "out of storage" and the delivery was on its way. I have the recorded call to prove this. The company then proceeded to deliver my things to the wrong address after I gave the correct address a month in advance via email. (the representative I spoke to seemed to not care at all about this catastrophe) I had to send my wife 30 miles to meet them at the wrong address to direct them to my house. The delivery men did not unwrap and put back together the furniture they delivered because they "we're running behind". They did not do a number check on the boxes because "they were behind". They told my wife to "just sign so they could go". Multiple boxes were smashed and broken. I then called their customer service and the representative I spoke to listened to the recorded conversations. He then told me he was refunding the storage charge in question. He also found one of our boxes (unlabeled) in their storage and shipped it to me. I thought I was making some progress on recovering my missing boxes and resolving these issues. Then after 2 weeks of contacting the company (with no response) and finding out my card was not refunded, a representative called me back. She basically said the previous representative made a mistake and I would get no refund. This company is terrible top to bottom. All the details can be proven in email and recorded conversation.
They had an amazing Moving plan, and everything went well! Very organized and efficient! Thank you, guys! We appreciate the excellent customer service.
They were very polite and professional and very careful with our belongings. They did a wonderful job. We highly recommend them.
These three guys were the most professional, efficient, diligent, and delightful movers I have ever hired. I am so grateful I can look forward to that experience! I will be moving from my storage unit to my new apartment soon, and I will be calling them back for that task.
Horrible customer service - No follow up and then the day of move they didn't show up and we had to call them 5 times to get information Do not waste your time or money. Very unprofessional!
This business should be shut down and not allowed to operate
This business should be shut down and not allowed to operate. They are unprofessional and unorganized, and they literally shipped someone else's belongings across the continental United States after mixing up the tags when first picking up my belongings. My items were picked up in Orange, CA on 11/13. The delivery window is 21 business days. We assumed the clock started immediately, but we had to call again and start it. On 12/27, I was told it would arrive between 12/31-1/3. On 12/30, they pushed to 1/8 or 1/9. On the night of 1/7, they pushed to 1/10. They did not reimburse me for my now-defunct parking permit. On 1/10, the movers arrived with SOMEONE ELSE'S BELONGINGS. On the original day of pick up, the mover had two jobs - mine and someone else's. He switched the tags and no one noticed - not at unloading, not while in the warehouse, or loading. No one checked the item list which would have obviously revealed the error. The company immediately tried shifting blame to my family, even though many of the boxes had homemade tags on them with my name and delivery city right alongside BLVD Moving's tags with someone else's name and delivery city on it. It took two full weeks for me to be given a new delivery date. My items took only four days to cross the country and arrive in DC. The other person's tags are still on my belongings, so BLVD Moving did not update them. From the day the clock started to the day my items arrived, it was 71 full days and 46 business days. BLVD Moving gives you $30 off per business day that the item is late. The 21st day (final day of window) is 12/22. My items didn't arrive for 25 MORE business days. The company delivers on the weekend, but only applies business days to the penalty to ensure they pay as little penalty as possible. They are corrupt, dishonest, and reckless with customer's belongings. BLVD Moving needs to be investigated and have their business license revoked.
I cannot quite tell you how much I would not recommend BLVD moving
I cannot quite tell you how much I would not recommend BLVD moving. A lady named Bethany promised the moon to lure us in with a $200 deposit. She also claimed to include lots of "free" services. Of course, the movers show up after I was promised the quote wouldn't change only to hear that Bethany didn't include the correct packing price on our invoice. On the spot, BLVD moving wanted $1900 more to pack our items. I call Bethany to ask how this was possible. Magically she doesn't answer my email or phone calls. Once she gets you to sign the terms and conditions, prepare to be ghosted.
Our items show up halfway across the country 16 days later (quite slow), and the method of payment we were told would work (Zelle) suddenly doesn't work for their account, and then suddenly we had to rush down to the post office to get money orders. I really don't understand why a company cannot just accept a credit card payment in 2021 even if you have to pass *** the fee to the user.
Here's the other fun part: on arrival day, we are told that they will need to charge us a transport fee of $780 to move items from a 53' truck to a smaller truck to access our property. Call me crazy, but it seems like this should be researched and included as part of the initial quote. So now here we are with $2680 in surprise charges.
We unpack our items to find that magically our brand new in box phone was the only item that failed to show up from an entire drawer (we have the photo to prove every other item showed up). Wow, what a coincidence. Their reimbursement policy is to pay by weight, which means our $700 phone will be reimbursed for under ten bucks. We also had some other ridiculous damage done to our property but it at least looked accidental.
This company preys on the desperate situation that people are in while moving and will nickel and dime you into oblivion with unethical charges. If you value your sanity, do not use this company.
I initially selected this company based on reviews
I initially selected this company based on reviews. A huge, debilitating mistake. BLVD movers failed to deliver my items on the originally scheduled date and did not honor their commitment. What should have been a smooth move turned into an utter nightmare. I explained to the pick up movers that I would not have a bank account for a cashier's check, etc and could I pay by personal check for the entire move. Management approved. I paid by personal check for the pick up. The check cleared without any problems. July 23, the delivery truck did not arrive as scheduled. I was constantly calling the company to find out what happened. I kept getting told that the drivers just weren't ready and that they would be in touch with updates. I repeatedly contacted the company and they were extremely negligent in responding. I had no idea what was happening. As a result, for 2 weeks that the movers were very late, I had to sleep on the floor which I should not have had to do. I had to get a hotel for a few nights which the movers are refusing to reimburse me for. I finally get an email that the movers are coming on Aug 6. They were supposed to come by 4 pm. They did not show up til 10 pm which was extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. It was pitch black outside and very risky. They threatened to leave with my things if I did not pay upfront. One of the movers was so rude. They broke most of my furniture, all my lamps, and left piles of trash. Then they disappeared at 1 am without even telling me leaving the move unfinished. The list goes on, but to make a long nightmare short, they failed to honor their commitment, were so rude and careless, charged me additional fees on top of the exorbitant fees I was already paying and did not communicate or consult with me updates in advance. The company further refuses to reimburse for the damages. It was a very traumatizing experience. They should reimburse me for the hotel, broken and damaged furniture, and the way I was treated.
7 in 10 success rate!
7 in 10 success rate!
7 pieces of furniture out of every 10 will be delivered relatively safe (some minor damage), and still in working condition. 3 pieces of furniture will be damaged and rendered useless, and you will need to them throw out. But don't hope for any resolution for anything damaged, going with BLVD means you will be out of luck!
In late-June , I used BLVD to move from San Jose to Los Angeles. The crew picking the furniture in San Jose were fine, efficient and careful.
The crew of three dropping off the furniture were OK, one of the guys was quite lazy and only half-heartedly put the furniture back together. The guys took note of the damaged furniture on their delivery sheets, but refused to provide a copy of their note, nor let me take a photo of the notes they took. I only have photos of the damaged furniture.
Anyway, the biggest concern is when you email or call to report damaged furniture and seek some resolution. Here's the process:
· You need to submit a claim form
· BLVD will not email you that claim form until you speak to someone from "Claims"
· You cannot email "Claims"
· You must call "Claims" but there is literally no number, you must call the main office and they transfer you
· Whenever you are transferred, no one in "Claims" ever answers the phone
· When I ask the people from the main office on how to resolve damaged furniture, they take no responsibility and merely transfer you to the "Claims"
· Again, no one ever answers the phone at "Claims" and goes to voicemail
· Voicemail at "Claims" is full and cannot take another message
After calling BLVD in early July, I was told that Claims was likely on vacation for July 4 for two weeks, but will get back to me. Of course, no response two weeks so I called back mid-July. Again, no contact is made with "Claims". Eventually, someone from the main office said they emailed "Claims" and should take two weeks for someone from "Claims" to respond.
So it's been over a month, and it's safe to say I'll never receive a response from "Claims" and I suspect "Claims" doesn't even exist.
Shame because I would have gladly accepted a minor form of compensation, I wasn't looking to take advantage of the company.
Warning!
Warning! Do NOT use this moving company. It started with a "binding" quote of $4346.94. When the movers picked up, they told me it would be $7022.40 and I would have to pay half before they started loading. They told me I'd have to take it up with the company. I HAD to close the next day on house so I had no choice but to proceed. I paid them $3261.00 leaving a balance of $3261.00, which was what it said I owed on the paperwork. When my items were delivered, the movers told me I owed $$3711.41. I showed him my paperwork that said $3261. He called company to verify, and they told him the $3711.41 was correct. He told me I'd have to take it up with company and I had to pay the amount before they would unload. Again, I had no choice. In the original quote I was charged $550.00 for 2 wood crates for my curio cabinets, which were never crated. When I spoke with the lady who provided the quote, she told me she would have someone get back to regarding the increase, no one ever did. I attempted to contact her again, to follow up, leaving 5 voice mails, with no response. I tried for two weeks reaching the claims/complaint department. The answering service said that number could take any more messages and hung up. I spoke to the billing department, which told me I had to speak to dispatch, because they made the billing charges. I finally got the dispatch person, who was the rudest, most unprofessional person, I have ever spoken with. She told me since the move was already done it was too late to complain about the cost and if I didn't like the price I shouldn't of had them pick up. She wouldn't even listen to my other concerns. She told me she had drivers there and was too busy and that she'd have customer service call me. When I asked her for their number she told me she didn't know it and put me on an indefinite hold. There were also times during the whole process that I tried to get info on when my items were going to ship and be delivered, speaking to both customer service and dispatch, that was like pulling teeth. Not helpful, rude and unprofessional. I have left 2 messages with customer service, stating my problems and asked for a call back. No response! I tried 4 times , on 4 different days, to send an email on their website, and got an error in sending each time. I'm at a loss to what else to try. For your own well being STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I would avoid this company at all costs
I would avoid this company at all costs. My partner and I were moving from SF to NYC and we contracted with Proud American Van Lines. Turns out we didn't do our research and they were actually a broker (our bad) who sold our contract to BLVD moving. When we found out BLVD moving was going to be the ones actually performing the move, we read the reviews and freaked out - ransoming stuff, awful damage, wild delays, etc. - so we tried to cancel the move. Matt Freedman, one of the Sales VPs at BLVD, called to build confidence with us and promised that they would take good care of our stuff and that he would be our contact every step of the way in the process (from pick up to drop off). I feel very naive for believing him. Here is a quick rundown of our experience: 1. Awful customer service during the move process - after 3 weeks of waiting for our stuff, we began contacting BLVD regularly for updates. Not only were they unable to give us any information (they legit had no idea where our stuff was at any given time - super reassuring), but they also regularly changed our delivery window (difficult when you've moved into a building who requires a scheduled move) and they continuously promised to call us back the next day with more info and never once did. Frustrating, but I get that moving companies are dealing with wild amounts of logistics and whatnot, so I could have let this slide, but... 2. When we finally received our stuff, they delivered a completely busted dresser, a cracked 65" TV, and a demolished bookcase (the shelves were legitimately ripped out) - BLVD contracted out to have the stuff actually delivered by a couple of non-affiliated guys (who were very nice) and they were flabbergasted by the damage, which tells you something 3. We get that things get broken in a move, so we went to file a claim - turns out that things like our fairly new TV are not covered because they "are not liable for electronics" 4. Once we agreed to not cancel and these problems starting popping up, Matt Freedman was nowhere to be seen and stopped replying to all email - his sales tactic worked and I'm wildly disappointed that that's how they run their business. If I could go back, I would 1000% contract with a more reputable company because we are ultimately paying far more to replace our stuff and we prob lost years of our life due to the stress (kind of kidding, kind of serious). Anyway, in summary - for your sake, find a better company. You'll thank yourself later.

This company is running a scam!
This company is running a scam!
They were referred to my by Home Advisor. I spoke to their representative Bethany, who was very quick to take my deposit, and promised me the moon in the initial conversation.
I went room by room through my home and told her exactly what had to be moved. I was given a quote of $5000 for the move. She also promised to send me an itemized list of an estimate to move each of the larger items.
We then scheduled a virtual walkthrough; this is when MANY problems emerged and it became clear they are con artists.
First, Bethany didn't bother to show up for the walkthrough! I had to chase her down on the phone; my wife and I waited for almost 30 minutes on the Zoom call waiting for her to show up.
Next, it seems this woman had never used a computer before, because she didn't know how to use Zoom - AT ALL. And she kept blaming me because she doesn't know how to use common, even ubiquitous software? Really?
Then it gets MUCH worse.
There were several items on the initial inventory, including several floor lamps and a freezer that we decided to sell instead of move. I asked her to remove them. She said "well let's not remove them." I said "NO, remove them".
The entire time it seemed like she was on drugs or drunk of something; she paid no attention to anything we said, and was clearly in a hurry get rid of us.
After the call, she send a revised estimate...this is when it was 100% crystal clear they are scammers:
1) The initial estimate MORE THAN DOUBLED! It went from $5000 to over $12000. We DID NOT add anything major. Scammers!
2) She left in all the items that we had explicitly told her to remove. Obviously they think we are lazy and stupid, and wouldn't check the list; they tried to charge us for items that we were not moving and had already been sold.
3) Despite me calling and leaving a voice mail, and asking her repeatedly on calls, and emailing her, I NEVER RECEIVED the itemized estimate as promised.
4) All I heard from her was "we need a bigger deposit to move forward".
5) When I contacted her to cancel and ask for a refund of my deposit - which she had sworn up and down was 100% refundable until 3 days before the move (and I asked for a refund 16 days before), she totally ignored me.
DO NOT USE THEM! They are running scams on people who they know are in a hurry and desperate to get moved.
FYI: After dealing with the scammers are BLVD I spoke with a well established, reputable moving company, and I was given a quote of $4600 for the move, including insurance and packing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would give negative stars if possible. This has been an experience that my husband and I hope we never have to repeat! We feel as though the salesperson made a lot of promises and assurances and none of it has come to pass. We were told that it would be 5-7 days until we received our stuff, and here it is 14 days later and no one knows where our stuff is or when it will be delivered! We have made multiple phone calls and have written letters and have not received any reply. The only person we finally got a hold of is in the complaints department. She said it might be another two weeks before we receive our stuff! She could not say where it is at the moment. To start, no one told us it was going to take two days to load our stuff onto the truck. We had not anticipated or planned for the extra day. That should have been stated up front so that we could have been prepared. It took them from Thursday, approximately 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, and Friday, from 10:30 am to 12:30 am (14 hours)! There was some sort of lack of communication between sales, dispatch and the crew loading our stuff onto the truck. The lead guy walked everything and confirmed that the quote and amount of items was correct. We watched and listened as he placed a call to dispatch to tell them they did not have enough guys for the job and did not have the correct equipment on his truck and that he needed a forklift to lift the heavy items into the truck (a hot tub, lathe, and mill). All of these items were noted by the sales guy and he confirmed that they would not be a problem. My husband had to physically help them lift the hot tub onto the dolly and roll it down the driveway. Then my husband had to use his own bobcat skid steer with forks to load it into the truck himself. On the second day, the moving team did not get any additional crew and no forklift. Aleksandr, the sales guy, had come to the house twice to walk the items and he included the heavy items in the quote. He stated that he would be on site to aid in loading the three heavy items that would present a challenge. He never showed up on site and never returned our phone calls! At 9:00 pm on the second day, the crew was still loading up stuff on the truck. The lathe and the mill machines were still sitting in our garage. My husband told them that we couldn't be at the house another day and the machines had to go in that night. They obviously did not have the man power or the equipment to load the heavy machines so my husband had to do it himself with his tractor. We wanted to avoid this extra work which was why we decided to pay the additional money to use the moving company in the first place. The noise of the tractor at that hour caused some of our neighbors to come out and it disrupted the entire street. On top of everything else, they never told us that they were going to unload all of our stuff into a warehouse! We wouldn't have agreed to that as it's too easy to lose things. At this point, we can only hope that our items show up at some point and in good condition. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
A few months back when I was looking for a moving company to take our things from San Francisco to Boston, I came across BLVD
A few months back when I was looking for a moving company to take our things from San Francisco to Boston, I came across BLVD. I did my research and the reviews were decidedly mixed. When I talked with BLVD and asked them about their negative reviews, they had some canned line about being 5 star rated across a number of review sites. I should have listened to the negative reviews - this company combines painful incompetence with shockingly bad customer service. Here's my experience.. -Pick up timing: I booked with BLVD a couple months ahead of our move. They asked me to choose a two day pick up window. I thought it was reasonable to assume that at some point prior to delivery we'd get specificity of when in that window the movers would arrive. It's not fair to expect that we would spend the entire final weekend in SF stuck in the house waiting for the movers to arrive. But that's exactly what we had to do - despite having a wide range of other things we both wanted and needed to get done. Initially, I was told the movers would arrive Saturday morning. Then it became Saturday afternoon. Then the mover called me and told me it would absolutely be first thing the next morning. Then he called me the next morning and told me he would be late. In the midst of all this, I'm trying to coordinate childcare for my two little kids and take care of 1,001 last things before moving my family cross country. -Overcharging and Dishonesty: Finally, once we actually got to the end of the moving process, I'm stuck with a bill far larger than expected. The head mover was just eyeballing how many square feet it was. When I was booking with the company, the woman I spoke with, Bethany, said the amount of space was "945 cubic feet. 18-wheeler," and that would be more than enough room for us. I trusted that would be the case. Most people aren't able to visualize 945 square feet (I certainly couldn't), but I can visualize an 18 wheeler. But it turned out that we don't get an entire 18 wheeler, not even close. Our stuff gets transported on an 18 wheeler but that's not actually the space we received. It was, effectively, a lie. What we did receive was a bill that was a couple thousand dollars higher than expected. The head mover, when I said this wasn't what we agreed to, said that the main office would give me a substantial discount against the *extracharges. There was never any discount. Plus, I just received a call last night that they're going to need me to pay an extra $770 to rent a truck because their truck won't reach our house. This is from a company that told me during their sales process that there were no additional or hidden fees. It's outrageous. -Awful Customer Service: The good news is that my company is paying part of my moving costs. All I needed was a digital receipt, which Bethany from BLVD told me in advance that I could get. And which any modern company would send automatically. However, with BLVD, it took multiple calls AND emails to get it - and initially they responded by saying I'd only get a paper copy. From a customer service standpoint, this request should be a no-brainer. There's no earthly reason it should have been so difficult to get them to forward a document. -Delays: Finally, they told me that our stuff would arrive within 21 business days but that it usually takes around 12 days. I moved on May 25th. Today is June 29th. Our stuff still hasn't arrived. (I had to go buy camping gear to take my daughter camping for her birthday because mine is in a truck or a warehouse somewhere.) Don't use BLVD to get a cheap price because they'll find a way to overcharge you. And definitely don't use them for the quality of service. I'll update this once we receive our stuff - if we receive it. Take my word for it: this company is a scam and the sales process is simply a lie.
Please read negative reviews posted here, on Facebook and on Yelp carefully
Please read negative reviews posted here, on Facebook and on Yelp carefully. I do not recommend this company to move your household goods. I booked on May 29 for a pickup from Redmond, WA on June 24/25, 2021. The truck arrived at 7pm local time on June 24 to load up a 5 bedroom house. I had to call them more than ten times to find out when the truck would arrive. Obviously they had to come back the following day to complete loading. The foreman and the crew were really nice. They did a great job in packing and loading my stuff so I tipped them. The foreman said "this is the best tip we got in the recent times." Remember, once the crew moves your stuff to a warehouse, their job is done. Per contract, estimated delivery window to Leander, TX is July 2-Aug 2 of 2021. It is fascinating to learn that with a month's advance booking and 30-day delivery window after loading, this company has no clue on how to move stuff from one place to the other. They are still looking for a truck to pickup my stuff from the warehouse in WA 27 days after loading. "We strive to maintain a level of communication that eliminates the stress and inherent concern people have when hiring a moving service be it residential or commercial." ^^This is a false statement made on their website. Since the time I booked my move, they called just once, one week before the confirming the loading date. They NEVER called me after they picked up my household goods on June 24th. They don't proactively call you to update on the move. When you call, the only response they give is "we don't have an update for you. You are still within our delivery window." They don't say what happens when they cannot deliver the goods within the promised window. Their contract doesn't address this scenario either. I don't think they will deliver my goods ever. I have a suspicion they lost my stuff and are waiting for me to file a claim. https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/moving-fraud is a great resource for people to learn more. I intend to file a complaint with FMCSA once this move is settled (either via a claim or when the company delivers my goods). Seeking a legal course of action is an expensive affair for a consumer. Companies like BLVD moving take advantage of that situation. I'm glad I purchased a 3rd party insurance for my goods. Moving companies offer $0.06 per cubit foot of goods as basic insurance coverage. In my case, this company is charging $5.50 per cubic foot to move my stuff and offers $0.06 per cubic foot as insurance. So, for approximately $70K worth of goods that add up to 2000 cubic feet, the moving company will pay up to $120 (A hundred and twenty dollars) in case of damages or lost goods. For example, if they damage a bed worth $2500 that adds up to 150 cubic feet, they will pay you $9 compensation. Note: anytime a company cites (read: hides behind) the contract when you question them, be assured that company doesn't have a concept of customer service. They are in the business to make money by cheating their customers. A family of four, with two teenagers ready to go back to school in a new city, we've been living out of suitcases and sleeping bags. The sales person, after booking your move with all sorts of false promises, will not respond to your emails. Since the sales person did not revise a quote after I sent him a complete inventory of my stuff, the foreman on the loading day had to re-estimate the cost, which is understandable. This is a classic bait and switch where the sales person gives you a low-ball estimate committing you to the company. I understand they need to charge for the actual items to be moved. However, they should provide a fair estimate based on the inventory you provide and not pull a number out of thin air to get your business. BTW, the foreman gave a binding estimate of $14K after revising the original estimate of $9K. I'm fine with it based on the stuff I have to move. Another issue here is that this company insists on a cash payment only. I paid $9K in cash at the time of loading and the remaining to be paid at the time of delivery in cash. Whenever a company insists on cash payments, I think they intend to commit a tax fraud as there is no record of the transaction outside their books. Lesson learned: Don't use BLVD moving company. Sign up with a national van lines company and not a family run business. If you can afford and if you don't have any goods of sentimental value, it is better to sell or donate your stuff and buy new ones where you move. These moving companies make money by moving your unwanted stuff. If you ever end up working with a moving company, don't sign the contract until they give you a quote based on a full inventory, preferably after an on-site visit. If you can afford, pay extra for a guaranteed delivery service. Only move stuff that is either expensive or absolutely required. ...still waiting for a call from the company on the status on my goods.

Misplaced and lost items.
04/04/2023 - I hired BLVD moving to move my one bedroom and kitchen items from San Francisco to Denver.
05/13/2023 - Items were picked up by BLVD.
06/15/2023 - 1/2 of my items were delivered, some items were broken.
06/15/2023 through 06/22/2023 - I called several times per day and spoke to many different people asking to be informed of what they were doing to resolve the missing items. I received generic responses: in a meeting, out of the office, working on it, etc. I was told I would receive calls back with an update, no one responded.
06/19/2023 - I contacted the owner directly and informed him of the situation.
06/21/2023 - I called the owner again, still no response from his team.
06/22/2023 - Received a call from the owner, they located my belongings.
07/08/2023 - I received a call from delivery at 10:30pm stating they are 15 minutes out and ready to deliver. I live in an apartment building. It was unacceptable to accept deliver at that time of evening. I worked with the delivery people and rescheduled for the next day.
07/09/2023 - I received a partial delivery. Hardware for my furniture was missing and the delivery people went out of their way to purchase replacement hardware and reassembled my furniture (they were awesome?).
07/10/2023 - I called BLVD informing them that boxes were missing.
07/11/2023 - I was told to file a claim.
Less than 24 hours from informing them boxes were missing, they gave up. BLVD has done absolutely nothing to resolve the missing/lost items.
Desired outcome: Retrieve my missing boxes and be reimbursed for delay in delivery.
Interstate move
I was going to order a pod and load the truck myself but we found BLVD moving and were assured this would be cheaper. I fly back to the house and take time off work to pack the house and get ready for these guys. They showed up late almost 1am they packed my things and then forced me to sign a contract that says I should have received 3 days before they got there. In the contract it labels all kinds of extra fees that will be charged for any reason they see fit. I hoped I could trust the company and everything would go smoothly despite them taking my things and in turn forcing me into the contract but that's not what happened. Now the movers are adding those fees of an extra 2000 on top of my already increased price of 7500 . Unfortunately I have no more money and even though they knew the location of the home and assured me everything would be fine it has quickly turned into a nightmare. Now I have lost all of my money and all of my belongings because this scumbag company can't just make a simple trustworthy deal and instead have to squeeze you of every penny possible and if it's not enough to make them happy then they keep your stuff and sell that off too. I now see why pods are doing so well because if I had just gone with the pod it would have been 5000 and a done deal with super cheap storage if needed. I will never recommend this company to anyone at this point.
Desired outcome: I want my money back but that won't happen so I would prefer that the job is completed at the agreed apon price. But that won't happen either. A company like this will not make this right so everyone should know that.
You have a good case here. BLVD Moving is a criminal organization and this is their business model - defrauding via load hostage-taking, which is a criminal offense they are easily able to get away with due to lax enforcement.
But, a similar company was just indicted and all the employees in charge ended up with hefty prison time. So too will these crooks fall.
It is important to notify the FBI and attorney general in your state and fight them on BBB and everywhere you can.

I've been waiting over a week past deadline for BLVD moving to bring my stuff I had spoken with *** on 10/29 in regards to moving my items from the bay area of CA to SoCal (a 6 hour drive). We scheduled pick up on 11/10 and to allow for a day extra in case of delays (See attached document). I call them on 11/9 to follow-up and I'm told it wouldn't come until 11/13 which would be too late because my utilities will be shut off by then. I convince them to pick up my stuff at 11/11 in the evening as that was their last time for pickup. I said fine it will have to do, and I was told to expect it within a couple days because it isn't that far for them to travel. I was expecting my stuff to arrive on 11/20 at the latest. It is now 11/24 and I've made multiple calls to Matt and Kimberly from dispatch to resolve this. Kimberly has apologized multiple times telling me they still haven't moved it from the SF warehouse to the LA warehouse near me to deliver.. Based on what I'm reading from other complaints I shouldn't expect to see my stuff until next month and I'm sitting in an empty apartment sleeping on a busted air mattress until I get my stuff.

I'm moving *** One of the guy stole my *** Pro and left only the case in my backpack. I tipped them well but this kind of thing still happened. I'm outrageous!
I contacted BLVD December 27, explained to them that I needed to move by January 1, 2022. At that time I told them I was already packed, I had encounter a problem with another moving company. (gave me a estimate over the phone, when driver arrived they double it price). The representative for BLVD, told me it wouldn't be a problem, that their company was family own and "he would probably be the driver". However, two days before the move he called me to tell me the driver had contracted COVID. But he reassured me that their sister company could do the move. The sister company he was referring, ( AV moving company) this was the same company I had the initial issues with over the price. I requested to cancel this move and a full refund ($500), which to this date I have not received. This was an inconvenience that could have been avoided had they been honest. I had to store my furniture change plane and hotel arrangement. This was a hardship for my 96 year old mother and myself. Order Number XXXXXXXX
This company is by far the worst that I've ever encountered. Blvd Moving employees not only threw my mattress/mattress foundation off the balcony due to the fact that it was "too big," being king size, they failed to provide any information regarding how to further get my issue resolved with many damaged furnitures costing well over *** The employees at the customer care line do not even know what their own phone number is and demand that I dial their extension. How am I to do that if I'm not provided a phone number? Extremely unprofessional staff that works at the call center, extremely incompetent, and overall a terrible experience. Stay away from this company unless you want your money taken and ignored afterwards. P.S. they also tried to make something up along the lines of "customer has a question about claims information" and I wouldn't even be surprised that they typed it up on there. Not to mention that they delayed my delivery multiple times, only to have it come ruined and damaged beyond repair. Go with either PODS or a company more reputable that actually care about their customers.

Blvd cancelled my move on me and insisted to the broker that I cancelled it costing me over $*** on the deposit as well as an extra month of rent, another few *** on renting a truck and missing work to load it myself and drive cross country, 3 months of storage unit fees (the original quote had 90 days storage free, which held me over until I had the space to move everything in), as well as various other expenses caused my the last minute move. Not only did they handle that initial situation incredibly poorly, but they've been sending my personal information to other customers and their personal information to me. I've contacted the other customers to let them know that their information is getting out in this way, but only one has reached out to me making me think that anyone else that they sent it to could be using it for nefarious purposes. I've called them about this issue multiple times and they do not call back, they promise they will have someone look into any issues and then just try to sweep them under the rug. This company has cost me ***, disseminated my personal information, and refuse to even address their issues, let alone make them right. For your safety, find a real moving company, don't use this one.

Contracted BLVD moving to transport the belongings in my 1 bed room apartment in *** to my new residence in ***. A dispatcher contacted be on 2/15/22 to say I should expect my delivery between 8 am and 12 noon the following day (2/16/22). I booked a flight to *** as I was on a business trip. On 2/16 the driver called at 1pm to tell me he was delivering between 12 and 4 pm. Upon arrival the driver demanded payment in full even though my employer had already payed this company in full. He threatened to leave my belongings on the sidewalk if I didn't pay additional fees. 30 minutes later, after the company confirmed payment was received in full, the driver told me he in fact did not have my belongings on his truck and didn't know where it was. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism I am experiencing is unmatched in comparison to all other moving experiences. As a former Marine, I have moved frequently. The method of demand for payment, the threat, and the loss of my entire household belongings added with the hotel room cost causes me to seek compensation.
I have several complaints. First, the company would not let us buy insurance for our move. Second, the company provided multiple estimates and guarantees as to pick up and delivery dates and windows and missed every one that was provided. A representative of the company told us because they missed multiple delivery windows, we would receive a discount. But, they required us to pay in full before unloading any of our stuff. They also affixed my name and signature to multiple documents I did not sign, dating them to make it look like I agreed to sign them and agreed with the contents. When I called to complain about this, I was told it was standard and I had no choice but to sign, and as a "convenience" they had signed for me. I'm attaching a picture of a document I did not sign which has my signature and a date next to it as if I signed them.
I originally scheduled a move with BLVD Moving on 1/8/22 and paid a $400 refundable deposit to reserve a moving date of 1/25/22-1/26/22. On 1/13/22 I sent an email to the representative I had been working with, letting him know that our plans had changed and we no longer required their services and requesting a refund of the deposit. He and I then spoke on the phone, where he tried to cajole me into continuing to use their moving services. I reiterated that I would like to cancel the move and have the deposit refunded, and he gave a curt acknowledgment and hung up. I have not heard anything from BLVD Moving since that call. I reached out again via email to customer service on 3/8/22 inquiring about the status of my refund and have not received any response. I would like my deposit to be refunded as the binding estimate I signed clearly states that deposits are fully refundable if services are canceled before the start of moving.
BLVD missed their contracted delivery window by eleven days - the promised time frame ended on *** - and when the truck finally
BLVD missed their contracted delivery window by eleven days - the promised time frame ended on *** - and when the truck finally arrived, the screen of a 40" television was cracked, and three items from the inventory were missing. Two televisions - a 32" and 40" - were packed in the same size box. The smaller television had a piece of cardboard protecting the screen and arrived intact. However, the 40" television had no screen protector and was wrapped inside two blankets, causing the box to bulge out in the center. It was clear by the condition and size of the truck that arrived, that the items had been moved at least once - out of the original truck - and likely stored elsewhere temporarily. The box containing the television was most likely stacked or dropped, cracking the screen. I went through BLVD's official claim process to address the above issues, and I was sent a settlement offer of $45. This offer is not only an unacceptable dollar amount, but it offers no explanation as to what it covers, and it fails to address the missing items. Desired Outcome: I am seeking compensation for the days that the delivery was late. I am seeking compensation of *** for the television that was broken due to poor packaging and handling. I am seeking compensation of *** for the missing items:

I paid BLVD to move my stuff from California to Nevada. At no point in time did they tell me they were going to store my stuff as I paid for a move. A week later my stuff still has not left the state of California. The company is holding my stuff in storage and not delivering it. Further, when the movers came to pick up my stuff they were kicking boxes, dropping boxes, they broke multiple plastic bins because they kept dropping them. They tore a mattress and then revised my estimate up a $*** and refused to move me unless I agreed to pay that increase on the spot.
I reserved a moving date with Blvd moving company for *** back at the beginning of *** They took a *** refundable deposit from me and stated that I can get my money back if I decided not to use them up to the week of moving. I texted the representative who I was working with the 3rd week of *** stating that I didn't need them anymore because I wasn't moving. He didn't respond, so I called their office and told them that I'm not moving and I would like my deposit back. They said they would have their accounting department initiate the return of funds. I messaged the representative again a week or so later asking the status and he said he would get with accounting. I messaged him again a week later and got nothing. I told them I was going to Complaintsboard.com if they didn't return my funds soon. I still haven't received a refund and I will gladly take the complaint down when they give back my $100.
BLVD movers created a bill of lading
BLVD movers created a bill of lading. A few items were removed from the inventory on the day of move. Several items were never picked up by the movers, and a bunch of stuff was seemingly intentionally damaged. Those items were paid for and not delivered. I spent the entire year of 2020 trying to reach them. Phone calls, texts, emails were ignored for months until I posted a negative review *** That go their attention. I was contacted by the owner ***, who claimed she never received any messages. I sent all my messages and texts (with "read" receipts turned on) After several months, now nearly one year after the move. The owner *** promised a refund for the erroneous charges, the missing items and to reevaluate the damages items. Their insurance returned with an offer of $117. Upon their own weight policy of $.60/lb the insurance would have been over $900 with the missing/lost items replacement bringing the grand total to nearly $***. *** agreed with my assessment and the weights of the items as provided by the manufacturers. She claimed she needed a few days to get the paperwork in order because they had to cancel the original offer. *** called a few days later and asked if she could have until after the new year (2020 into 2021)to process payment. I obliged her. I never heard back from her or anyone from the company after that

Signed contract in April, pickup and storage of furniture in June , have called numerous times about delivery date with absolutely NO response. We signed a contract with the company in April. The company picked up our furniture in May with skill and precision and took all of household furniture to their warehouse in Northridge from Phoenix, AZ. with a delivery to Indianapolis, IN. promised in October. Each month, *** bills us for storage of our furniture and the amount is paid via credit card. We have tried to communicate both verbally and in writing numerous times about the exact address for our furniture delivery and to schedule a relative time for the date of the delivery. We have not been successful in reaching anyone at BLVD to express our intentions. The phone is never answered and we have left numerous messages. While we understand the need to make allowances for Covid-related staffing issues, at 5-6 unreturned phone messages, we believe we have been more than patient. In essence, BLVD company has gone silent at the corporate office and the salesman that we used has also not responded to our requests for assistance. We are 72 years old and have gone beyond the normal course of business to communicate with this company with no response from BLVD. We are extremely frustrated and hope that this Complaintsboard.com filing will assist in BLVD desire to communicate with us.

Pick-up date: 01/10/2022, Drop-off date: 01/27/2022 Due to a job opportunity, we had to move in a short amount of time. We went with this company "BLVD Moving" as they guaranteed us a fair price. They mentioned that this may differ depending on the actual amount of items we needed to transfer. On moving day, the movers determined that it would cost us an extra $150 for a few items we missed. That's fine, but what's not fine is the total amount. We were guaranteed a price around $***. On moving day, that price became $***. This was a GROSS overcharge compared to what was promised. We were working with other companies to determine the best course of action for us, and they LIED to secure our business with no intention of honoring the price they provided. The consultant who frauded us is *** (***). Once we were put in the position where we were forced to pay the outrageous amount, we tried contacting *** multiple times. He NEVER answered again from the time that we signed the contract. This shows that his fraud was intentional and he knew what he was doing. It is impossible to talk to ANYONE at this company besides an employee named *** so it is impossible to complain to them or negotiate a settlement due to ***'s negligence. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Worst (basically non-existent or extremely rude) customer service I've ever experienced (besides ***).

Several items were lost and broken by the movers and we have not received adequate compensation. All of our items did not arrive intact on our move from Portland OR (March 18). Before the move, I took a complete inventory of everything, including pictures of all the boxes and their contents. The total value on the wine is *** The value to replace the TV is *** and vacuum cleaner is *** offered us *** for the damages which is not sufficient. I submitted the claim on March 25, I did not receive any response until July 29th. According to their contract, they are required to respond in 30 days and provide us with a settlement offer in 60 days. Thus they have violated the contract. They also have not provided us with a breakdown of how they arrived at this settlement amount. Items were not properly checked off the list at the destination in Pittsburgh, PA by the movers. We were also incorrectly charged at pickup *** I have disputed this charge with the credit card company. At the destination, our items were held hostage by the movers who insisted on a cashiers check and would not take our credit card. We were promised verbally that we would receive our items by May 2nd. We did not receive them until May 14. The contract said that they had until May 31st which we weren't aware of until they pointed this out when we called them in early May. I have uploaded a pdf containing my most recent communication with them on the settlement as well as detailing the claim that I submitted.

I hired Blvd moving to move from Bakersfield ca to oberlin Kansas, its over a month past the contracted due date and they don't want to move my stuff I hired Blvd moving to move from Bakersfield California to oberlin Kansas and had my belongings picked up august 17 with a first date available for delivery on august 20, the deadline for the contract date for delivery is September 18 and it is now October 26 over a month late. I have contacted their dispatch several times to get updates and they constantly change their story from our trucks are all on the east coast one week, to they're still all out on shipments the next week, then the week after the excuse was the driver just got home and wants a week off, the next week the excuse was the truck was broken down, the week after that they say the move is out of the way and they're working on it, and today I called and they said its too far out of the way and their drivers do not want to make the drive and they would let me pickup my belongings and get a refund. I'm halfway across the country and hired them for a move, to expect me to just take a refund after being delayed this long and being this far across the country would be a financial burden and not a possible solution, not to mention they already inconvenienced me and it would cost a lot more to fly across the country and sort it out and they broke contract for over a month already. The US DOT number is: XXXXXX. The order number is: XXXXXXXX. The contract price is *** of which i have already paid *** amount owed at delivery is down to *** due to them dropping the price by *** every business day they are late. By Friday 30 October they will begin owing me money I already paid back.

We used Blvd moving for our ***-19th move from ***
We used Blvd moving for our ***-19th move from ***. I believe Blvd moving is using dishonest and deceptive tactics to significantly inflate moving costs. Overall Blvd moving 1. provided misinformation throughout the move, 2. used delay tactics by not returning phone calls or emails promptly and 3. multiple times agents at BLVD indicated all calls were recorded to ensure quality, however at no time is the customer notified the line is being recorded. BLVD moving overcharged me $*** as i only used 541 cubic feet and their customer support has denied my request to have the cubic vol reduced from *** as originally estimated 1. Sales person *** and assoc *** stated verbally throughout the process we would only be charged for the actual cubic volume used and the bill of lading is only an estimate. 2. Move coordinator *** called 3 days prior to move, recommended adding more *** to "avoid surprises" which increased the initial quote (650 cubic ft) to 1000 cubic ft, or ~$*** increase ($6/cubic ft). *** added items to the bill of lading that we didn't approve. I emailed *** to amend she replied the system was "locked" and could not update but stated in an email and on the phone she notified dispatch of changes. See attached. 3. On move day, foreman *** refused to look at or make changes to our our bill of lading upon arriving and stated BLVD moving would provide an updated bill of lading based on the actual inventory and volume used at a later date/time. *** reassured me this was the process and even called BLVD dispatch to validate. After the pickup was complete i called BLVD moving several times to inquire on my cubic volume but was not able to get answers. 4. I was overcharged for full packing services ($1.5 per cubic foot) where i only used 541 cubic feet, but I was charged for 914 cubic feet ($***) see xcel attached

We used BLVD Moving once prior to this incident without any issue
We used BLVD Moving once prior to this incident without any issue. Based on how the first move went, we looked forward to a good working relationship with them. For this project, the agreed upon contract cost was *** Labor + *** Travel Time + *** Packing Service). Just like the first move, we signed the contract online and gave a $*** deposit. However, this second move did not go like the first one, and this is what happened: 1) When they arrived the foreman said that they would charge us double drive time (which was not the agreed upon amount initially). They ended up charging us $***. $*** over the contract cost when it was all said and done. 2) They showed up late and came to the wrong address. They were scheduled for 10:00AM and showed up at 10:53, didn't start until 11:30AM. 3) The foreman was disrespectful and condescending to our staff, their appearance was unprofessional 4) Smelled of marijuana 5) Stood around and weren't engaged in their work on numerous occasions 6) Dropped and scratched a $*** desk, mover was on the phone and was using one hand to move it with a dolly. 7) They asked for extra money to move a whiteboard down the stairs, and wanted $*** cash upfront. 8) Drove the wrong way up a one way street in ***. 9) Damaged our company reputation with the professional organization we were working with After everything is said and done, we just wanted to move on and never use BLVD Moving again. However, they will not give us a receipt for the real amount that they charged $***. When I reached out they sent me a receipt for $***. They have not responded to my inquiry since then. Ideally, we would like to receive a refund for $*** - to make it right. We never asked for reimbursement for our damaged desk. At the very least we need to have a correct receipt that reflects the real amount charged for our accounting records. Thank you

Hello there, I'm not sure that you can help our family regarding this matter or not, because our contract with BLVD movers does not indicate
Hello there, I'm not sure that you can help our family regarding this matter or not, because our contract with BLVD movers does not indicate anything about our phone conversation we didn't record our conversation. anyway, We found BLVD Moving company through a website they contacted me and my sister for estimate and over the phone they agreed to move our home furniture and boxes from Santa Monica CA to Utah Logan on 11/11/21and deliver them on 11/18. We made sure that They understood that we need our load on the 11/18 and called back few times and spoke to a male name *** to confirm that we all are on same page about moving date and delivering date. Then a dispatcher called and said it will take 10 days to deliver your load. we called backed and *** assured us that dispatcher is not aware about our conversation and for sure we will have our load by 11/18. When we got to Logan someone called on 11/17 and said we are not delivering your stuff on 11/18 and we do not have a delivery date and might be delivered by 12/01 !? We called to speak to *** he was disappeared and when we asked for manager, a manager spoke to us very rudely in a disrespectful tone and nasty attitude "said if you are unhappy come and get your stuff.. you can't do anything you've paid half of the price and have to wait.." when we objected that *** promised us she said "We will take care of him later.." and hung up.. from that day we keep calling and no one even bothers to give us a date. we understood they promised us falsely so then get the business but from beginning they knew they won't keep their promise. So here we are today is 11/23 and we still do not have our load our medications, kitchenware, blanket or bed. Since 11/11 we live in a empty home with zero necessities for life and it's Thanks Giving. please help us to get what we deserve as a customer who trusted BLVD movers promise and took their word. Sincerely

Two things, prices were changed when movers came to my house; and they haven't given me a date that my furniture arrive to my new location
Two things, prices were changed when movers came to my house; and they haven't given me a date that my furniture arrive to my new location. This company solicit my business once they were aware that my house relocating. They promised me that my furniture will be delivered timely once a gave a location and ample time within their timeframe. I called this company on two different occasions because I believe that the initial quote that was provided was not sufficient for the amount of furniture that I had on the second attempt of me called or was it the price change to accommodate the extra or the furniture that I had. I was initially told that they needed two days for moving my furniture out of my home and there was and they were insistent of this. The day before the schedule move date I have not heard from anyone. I called Boulevard moving to see you when I could expect their arrival. They indicated that the two days of moving it was actually a estimation for two day window that they will be there this was inconsistent again with the initial conversation. The movers came on the last day that need to be out of my house not only that they were several hours late. There are lateness causes to be more stress given the timeframe in which we needed to be out the home. Once they arrive today they did a walk-through of the home and informed me that the dispatcher did a gross on the estimation of what the cost should have been for the moving they estimated additional four thousand dollars. Unfortunately I was placed in a position where I had no other options at the time but to come to the demands of renewing two separate contract because of threw it under estimation of the cost of the move. The initial dispatcher *** from Boulevard moving refused to return it with my calls or emails he sorted them out to other coworkers within the agency of Boulevard moving. Once an address was determined in the state that I relocated to I provided that to him Boulevard moving what a move-in date and I provided a 15 day window in which the house will be available. A week and a half past I have not heard from anybody from Boulevard moving regarding the potential of the delivery of my furniture. I made it it's in a made a request on September 21. I spoke with a customer service rep her name was *** who indicated that the 21 days from of house being assessable. She quickly up directed me to a contract that I was pressured to signed given the circumstances. *** at that time couldn't give me a timeframe to expect my furniture. To date Boulevard movie have not reached out to them to me to inform me of a potential time that my furniture will be delivered I have made inquiries and phone calls however have not gotten the adequate response from Boulevard moving company to inform meal or my family when my furniture will be delivered.

My furniture was picked up from *** on 12/20 and the *** employees changed the contract and charged me an additional *** I was told the previous charge was a mistake and that I had a *** of *** cubic feet) I was then required to pay *** half of the total charge before the movers would load my furniture. I was also told that my furniture would be delivered to my new Chicago address on 10/04. On 12/22, I contacted the *** via email to dispute the additional charge. On 12/28 I contacted the *** again via email to dispute the additional charge and to inquire when I could expect delivery. On both occasions I did not receive a reply to my emails to *** (***) re-location agent. Additionally, on 12/28 I received a email from Movers (***) customer service agent informing me that I would not receive delivery on 01/04, and that it would be the middle of January before it could deliver. No exact date was given. I called *** customer service on 01/08 to find out when I could expect delivery, I was not provided a delivery date. I called *** re-location agent on 01/09 regarding delivery and the additional charge, and was told he would check on it and get back with me. However he has not got back to me. As of today (01/13) it has been (25) days since my furniture was picked up and my wife and I are still waiting for *** to deliver our furniture and personal belongings. We have been waiting at our new home in Chicago since 01/04 for delivery of our belongings. It is the middle of Winter here and we are without change of clothes, coats and other day to day living necessities. We are sleeping on the floor and compelled to order food to eat because we have no cooking/dining materials. I am a 71 year old Disabled American Veteran. I suffer from various medical disabilities and conditions. My wife and I are enduring great anxiety, discomfort, pain and suffering as a result of *** refusal to deliver our furniture and personal belongings, or to provide information as to when we can expect delivery. We have incurred a great deal of additional expenses as a result of this situation. We live on a fixed income and have very limited resources. *** has treated us very unfairly we appeal to the complaintsboard.com, you are our only recourse, please help us. Thank You I have attached documents in support of the foregoing statement. See Attachments

Mover promised a specific service level, then my move turned into an unmitigated nightmare
Mover promised a specific service level, then my move turned into an unmitigated nightmare. My move with BLVD started out fine- yes there were some hidden fees that other reviews suggest, but generally, the movers were on time to pack everything up, polite, and seemed to do a very thorough job with my breakable pieces. My stuff then goes to storage, and I am promised by the man who set up my move, ***, that as soon as I am ready, my stuff will ship. Great, all is well. *ast forward a month, I call them to let them know they can ship my things, and my problems begin. "***" basically tells me to off and that he has nothing to do with this part of the moving process, and that I need to call dispatch. At the time I thought, "this is odd from the person who said they'd personally ensure my move goes as smoothly as possible", but didn't worry too much and called dispatch. When I finally get a hold of dispatch, they tell me that I have no control over when my belongings will ship, they're delayed and they cannot give me even a broad estimate. One week? Two months? She doesn't know. I'm unhappy because I'm living in an empty apartment, but I let it go. It seems like there is nothing I can do. 3.5 weeks later, I get a notification that my stuff has finally shipped. While a month later than I would've liked, I'm thrilled that it is en route across the country! The company followed up with a voicemail on 7/27 and gave me a 3 day window of when my stuff would arrive (8/2 - 8/6). I called them back to see if they could get in touch with the driver to see if there was a specific day I could reserve with my building (not atypical with buildings in NYC) and the dispatcher started yelling at me saying there was no window of when I could expect my things and that I needed to be on call 24-7 (starting now) and that the driver would "try" to give me 24 hours notice. I tried to explain that I was referring to a window of time that the company had given me, and that my building really needed as much advance notice as possible, and even inquiring about if there was an option to upgrade to a guaranteed delivery date. She said that the company does not guarantee delivery dates under any circumstances, even for a fee. The conversation always ended with "we'll try and get in touch with the driver and call you back". Over the next week, I had this conversation 6 more times, and I was never once called back. I also reached out to "***" their moving coordinator, to see if he could help, and he hung up on me twice (unclear if it was purposeful, but I imagine it was). This afternoon, I called dispatch for the 7th or 8th time, trying to get an update given it's 8/4 and there's only 48 hours left in the initial window they gave me and I haven't yet heard from the driver. This woman, who I believe I'd spoken to once or twice before, started screaming at me and saying I could pay her additional money to guarantee delivery late NEXT week. At this point, I explained to her that I'd already asked if there was an additional fee I could pay for a guaranteed day and that multiple other representatives explained this wasn't an option. She told me that if I wanted my stuff (now multiple weeks late) I was going to have to pay this fee. This company, or at least their representative, is now extorting me by delaying my belongings and asking for a significant sum of money (still waiting to hear on what exactly that is). While I want my issues to be resolved, I also want to warn any other potential BLVD customers that this moving company is a scam and that there are one hundred better options to choose from. This has been a nightmare from start to finish.

Charged $337.50 for cu ft not shipped, $250 extra unwarranted shuttle fee & $173 extra changed with WHITE OUT on original contract after pickup!
Charged $337.50 for cu ft not shipped, $250 extra unwarranted shuttle fee & $173 extra changed with WHITE OUT on original contract after pickup! Original contract quote of $*** for moving 350cu sq ft of space from WA to TN. We agreed & paid $100 deposit. We already packed up the belongings ourselves so it was just for moving these containers and boxes which stacked tight and neat in a 6x12 Uhaul trailer. We had no furniture to ship. I called around to find someone who could move within few days and told they could. We had planned to tow the Uhaul ourselves but were scared our vehicle wouldn't make the long trip with this tow. Couple days later, called by dispatch. She said that truck she planned to pickup our items was in Oregon and didn't have any space left. She wasn't sure when a truck would be available. Could be days or weeks. Asked if we wanted to drive & tow 25 miles to their Tacoma storage facility so they could take the items into storage there until a truck was available to transport. She offered us $100 off. This helped to pay for gas, time and another day of Uhaul rental. We agreed to go ahead since we had already sold our home and it was costing us a lot to stay in a hotel until this move was done. Our updated shipping estimate was now $2100. Jan 4th, 2021, we drove and met 2 movers at their storage. At this time, the mover changed the weight to 400 cu ft. and charged us an additional $337.50. My husband argued with him about this and even showed him the online Uhaul description that states it holds "almost 400 cu feet" and our trailer wasn't even full. There was lots of room, especially at top. We didn't feel we could fuss too much because they already had our things and we couldn't wait for another shipper. It was costing us money every day to stay in hotel. We still tried to remain friendly. The mover then stated that we should not be charged for the $273.00 "shuttle fee" that was on our original quote. He got in his truck and called the office. He came back and said that the $273 shuttle fee was taken off our total. We figured that this credit kinda wiped out most of the $337.50 increase charge for the "extra" 50 cu sq ft, even though that increase wasn't warranted so it was kinda a wash. We didn't even know what a shuttle fee was but later found out, it's charged when a 18 wheeler truck can't get into the area or street you are on. The charge shouldn't have been included in 1st place since the pickup location wasn't limited and we'd even offered to meet the truck at a very large, open parking lot near the hotel. The movers presented us with a bill of lading service contract with all the fees detailed. I paid half the remaining balance of $963.00. We both reviewed and signed the contract. I got duplicates. I spoke with dispatch a few times prior to delivery and nothing was ever said about any charges. We were even hopeful that the extra $337.50 charge added on for 50 extra cubic feet of weight, would be refunded since the mover said it might be if the transport mover thought the total was less. That didn't end up to be the case and in fact, other substantial charges were applied at the the time of delivery. Prior to delivery, I received texts from the delivery truck driver and I replied confirming our address. One text mentioned a $250 "shuttle fee" which I knew was refunded so I didn't think it was applicable, however, I when I spoke with dispatch, they said it was an extra charge for the contracted driver because he couldn't get into the area with his 18 wheeler. I stated that a 18 wheeler would have no trouble getting in/out of here. We are located on the main road in a Mobile Home Park and the roads are extra large, designed for 18 wheelers to often move sing & double wide trailers in and out of here! The driver showed up and demanded more money yet! He had the original signed contract and amounts were changed on it with WHITE OUT! Balance due was changed from $963 to $*** (increase $173) plus he demanded $250 shuttle fee on top of that and we ended up paying the extra unwarranted $337.50 in cu feet!

Signficant overcharge on moving, delivered many damaged and destroyed items, and perhaps allowed my credit card information to be stolen The
Signficant overcharge on moving, delivered many damaged and destroyed items, and perhaps allowed my credit card information to be stolen The following complaint relates to three moving companies (Safebound Logistics, BLVD Moving, and *** Van Lines). I ended up paying more than double the original quoted price, had our credit card information stolen, and many of our items damaged and destroyed. I hired Safebound Logistics *** on 2/19 to move our one bedroom apartment from San Francisco, CA to Brooklyn, NY in mid-April. After a video call, they estimated the volume to be 595cf, which would cost *** I had received quotes from other companies with a higher estimated volume and asked them to double check their estimate. The owner (***) called me directly and asked me to take photos of everything and email them, which I did. Upon reviewing those photos, he revised the volume to *** at a cost of *** I signed a contract on 2/19 and paid a 35% deposit of *** with a move date of 4/9. Then COVID hit and we delayed our move to 5/8 and decided to put our stuff in storage while we looked for an apartment. On 5/8, representatives from BLVD (***) arrived, my first time hearing our move was subcontracted. After an initial walkthrough, I was told our stuff was closer to *** and would cost closer to *** The movers spent all day packing and loading the truck at which point I was told the total volume was *** with a total cost of *** We had no realistic option but to sign. I filled out a piece of paper with my credit card information to pay the second installment of *** During the day, I learned that one of the movers' girlfriend lived in Washington state. On 5/11, I received a notification that my credit card had been used to make online purchases at a grocery store and fast food restaurant in Washington State. Over the next few days, I spoke to *** at Safebound and *** at BLVD about concerns both about the significant overcharging, and the circumstantial evidence on credit card fraud. On 5/12, I emailed *** outlining my concerns and requesting a phone call. I spoke to *** and *** on 5/18 and was told they could not confirm the volume until it arrived in Los Angeles where it would be stored. I received arguments from both that it was impossible the employee stole my credit card information and no indication they were going to look into it. I received a call from *** at BLVD on 5/27 that my stuff had finally arrived, and that it was actually *** This changed the total price of the move to *** in addition to a *** monthly storage fee. The remaining balance to be paid was now *** We kept our items in storage until we signed a lease with a September 1st start date at which point I called *** at BLVD on 8/18, who coordinates Dispatch, to arrange delivery. On 8/24, I received notification that the prior residents of our new place would not vacate until 9/8. I immediately called BLVD and was told that our stuff was already on a truck heading to the east coast, and that if I could not accept delivery when it arrived, we would be charged a *** redelivery fee and *** storage fee. I told them we could not accept delivery that day, and so BLVD found a local company who could accept delivery and redeliver - I was told the name of the company was "***" though I do not have official confirmation of the company; I only received calls from XXX-XXX-XXXX. We coordinated a new delivery date of 9/11. The truck with our items arrived on the morning of 9/11, and the leader of the team asked for the payment of *** in cash, which I paid, bringing the total cost of the move to *** (70% higher than the signed binding estimate). We found many items damaged and destroyed. Destroyed items included ceramic planters, glass items, lamps, storage bins and a computer monitor. Damaged items include the kitchen table and leaves, standing mirror, garbage can, console table, couch leg, art frames, dresser, and a bookshelf). Estimated replacement value of those items is
