The worst moving company ever!
The absolute worst, incompetent, unreliable, unprofessional, unfit and unskilled moving company ever! This useless moving company was sprung on me by default! I origianlly had my contract with 3 brothers which unbeknownst to me contracted this horiffic company (moving depot) to pick up my belongings. When they arrived I was shocked like who are you all,and upset but I need my belongings needed to be moved ASAP from indiana to north carolina because I havd already been waiting weeks to be moved, I already signed a contract and paid. They charged me and extra 371.00 stating my items were over weight. That was the first disappointment because it was B.S. and their way of getting more money. They didnt have a scale. Plus i sold most items I listed to be moved such as my bed, mattresses, dining table and chairs. Then they packaged the big items which included a 55in an 75in tv, tv consolde, desk and chair, dresser, two nightstands, and two standing tall leaning mirrors. I packedged all of my clothes, shoes, kichtenware, and household accessories. Now in my contract I paid extra because the delivery address had stairs. And the contract that I have and they have cleary states that. So when my items arrived LATE they charged me an extra 175 for stairs or they wouldn't unload the truck...mind you this is a whole other company called america's best movers, here comes more B.S. I called SHERRI at the office and she acknowledged I paid for stairs but now this is thier fee! What a complete joke! Then and the movers unpacked all the items that the company (moving depot) packeged up upon departure from Indiana. Two broken tv's, dented and scratched up dresser, broken desk, broken tv console, one missing standing tall mirror, and 4 missing boxes! Americas best movers stated they recieved my items like this, and they noticed i was 4 boxes short...everyone put the blam on each other...but my contract was with moving depot not americas best movers so I followed up with moving depot. And this despicable company wants to settle for 100.00. What a joke. A bunch of clowns who will only change their name and phone number every couple of months or years to stay in some sort of business. I spoke with the so called rude owner and Sherri and honstley they are all a joke. Keep the 100.00...trust me I will get whats owed to me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DONT FALL FOR THE LOWER RATES, THEY WILL ADD ON FEES ONCE THEY PICK UP YOUR ITEMS FOR ANY REASON!
Recommendation: Stay away please!
I honestly wish I could give them NEGATIVE stars
I honestly wish I could give them NEGATIVE stars. They are liars and they have no customer service. I have been trying to get a copy of my moving paperwork to finish my claim of the damaged items I received, including my BRAND NEW treadmill. The girl on the phone got extremely rude with me and talked to me like I was stupid. When I hung up on her, she proceeded to call me back 3 times to harrass me. I am so appalled by this company. They quoted me $4000 cheaper than the job actually was. When the truck showed up and AFTER they packed all my belongings, they handed me a BRAND NEW CONTRACT to sign. It's insane that this company is still in business.
Fxxking terrible moving company. It took them 25 days to deliver and lost so many of our items during delivery. They combined several deliveries into one and caused so much damage to furnitures and items. And they only compensated $50 for the total damage and loss. Worst company ever.
DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY LOST MY STUFF, I HAVE SOMEONE ELSE'S STUFF AND IT'S BEEN A MONTH WITH NO RESOLUTION! I don't even know who to blame because I also worked with Eagle Moving and they must have sourced to Moving Depot for this service.First, I was told verbally that my shipment would arrive in *** days. On the 10th day, I called them and was told that my items were still in *** and didn't have an ETA. I was concerned, because I already had plans to travel on July 21, so I called weekly and was told the same information, they did not have an estimated time of delivery yet, would most likely be around 21 days (I was okay with that, I understand things happen and could have moved my travel date a day or 2) and that my items were still in ***. I asked them to please hold my stuff until I returned, since there was still no ETA and the customer service reps told me that they couldn't do anything and once the deliver is out, it will be delivered on whatever date they had (they still did not have a date of delivery on July 18). I was explained that if I wasn't home for the delivery, I would be charged a re-delivery fee. I reached out to the Sales rep I first spoke with *** to see if he could help me, he told me he would see what he could do and never heard back. I was now planning on making changes to my travel arrangements, so that I did not have to pay the re-delivery fee. They are suppose to notify you 24 hours in advance of the delivery date, so on July 20, I never received any message from them about my items being delivered and decided to go with the travel arrangements and left on July 21. At 9:30p, I get a call from my parents who were home stating that my delivery was there, I WAS IN COMPLETE SHOCK! No email/text/VM nothing stating that my items were going to be delivered on July 21, so I spoke with the driver, ***. *** said he did try to reach me on July 20 but was unsuccessful. I asked him if he left a VM, and he said NO! He argued with me stating that I should have answered his calls. I get a lot of SPAM calls (as most of us do nowadays) and I do not answer calls unless I know the number or the number is registered with a business. I explained to him that it's not fair to me that they just show up with out leaving any message expecting from someone to accept this important delivery. I did not want to accept the delivery since I was not there to verify what items were damaged or if I was missing anything. After arguing back and forth with ***, he said there was nothing he could do or I would be charged a re-delivery fee. He asked if my parents could sign and I said no, b/c they could not verify any damages or missing boxes since the items are mine and they would not know. They finalized the delivery/setup at 11pm! WHAT MOVERS SHOW UP TO SOMEONE'S HOUSE AT 9:30P TO FINISH AT 11P WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION? NOT ONLY THAT, *** HAD MY PARENTS SIGN THE PAPERS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!On July 22, I was on the phone with my mom about my things and she mentioned a plastic container and a step stool, which made me confused b/c I did not have a plastic container or step stool. I asked her to send me a picture and confirmed that those items were not mine. I sent a text to ***, the delivery driver and he asked for a picture and that someone would stop by the following week to pick it up. After 2.5 weeks, still no on called or showed up. After I got back from my trip, I started unpacking and found that I was missing items, furniture not setup correctly and damages.. I called Eagle Moving and they gave me another number to call or an email to send to Moving Depot. I sent a note on Aug. 9 with the description of some of the items I was missing, so they could keep an eye out and to please give me a call to review the other details. No one ever called me and I had to follow up again. On Aug 13 I finally received a call from a customer service rep at *** asking me what happened. I started with my story from the beginning (about me traveling and not being home, what *** did, etc.) and she argued with me stating that it was also my fault that this happened b/c I didn't answer my phone. She the stated that she sent me an email when my items left ***. I looked over my emails/Spam folder and everywhere else, but there was no email. I asked her to forward me the email she sent (so I could see the stamp date) and when she forwarded the email, there was no stamp date on it! She explained that that is how their system is, so couldn't prove it (there was never any email sent). In addition, the email was vague - it stated that my shipment left and would take *** business days! NOTHING IN THE *** STATED IT WOULD ARRIVE ON JULY 21. I explained to her about the signature and how it was not authorized by me. She explained that they had to have a signature or they couldn't deliver the items and if no one signed, I would be charged a delivery fee! They basically forced me to take this delivery, with no notification or I would be charged extra! THAT IS NOT FAIR! After discussing with her that I just needed someone to come get the other person's items and help me resolve my issues (I even stated in an email that if the items were left by mistake in their storage facility, I could have someone pick up the items and resolve myself), she asked that I send all the details by email, so I did that on Aug 13 and she said she was going to send *** to pick up the other person's items in the next few days. It is now Aug 23 and silence from them! This is not how you do business. I have been dealing with this people for over a month and see no end in sight. A lot of the items I am missing are expensive also, so I am very concerned that this is not resolved yet! I am so tired to be dealing with these people for over a month now! Such a waste of my time and causing me a lot of stress. These people do not care at all. STAY AWAY!
Worst company on the planet. My move was May 3 from *** to *** finally received my things that were either missing or busted and broken in August! You here that in friggin August! Do not use these clowns. Worst experience ever. And the driver wouldn't even come to my house I had to drive an hour 1 way to meet them at a *** rest area to get my Stuff. I hope this place goes bankrupt. Shame on all of you.

Crooked Clowns, don't use them, the drivers that pick up, won't be same or same truck that drops off
Crooked Clowns, don't use them, the drivers that pick up, won't be same or same truck that drops off. Illinois to Nevada 15 days, call them 12 days after pick up,get up date arrival, they want to tell me, by law how days they to deliver, on hold 10 minutes, then sure enough its own, don't no where, but should arrive soon Nevada. 4 days later vioce mail ,need to deliver tomorrow or it goes back to Illinois. So in the middle of darkness, arrive at storage locker 6pm--gate locks at 7pm..different set of Clowns and different truck! So contact labor out,so 7+glass picture frames shattered and brand new tool box stolen, every cardboard box was damaged .night of delivery also wanted more money because of number of feet from truck to locker, crooks! Don't use Moving Depot at all costs!
Really impressed! They were very professional, careful . Very happy and satisfied with the service! Thank you!
They were hired by the company ***, who stood me up. They called them and sent them to me two days later. They were wonderful in wrapping and counting boxes and pieces. I have a mirrored credenza, two expensive silver etegeres from the ***,. They each have 6 shelves with glass about a 1/4 in thick on them. There is white strawlike weaving under the glass. All 12 pieces of glass shelving were broken, i have proof with photos of before and after. The last group to move the pieces in did not open the wrapping because they could hear the broken glass inside. They told all the laminated wrappings with them but this one. They left it in the bedroom on the floor. It should have been in the living room. I opened it and saw all the broken shelves. The glass shelf to the wine rack is completely missing. My beautiful lamp that had a lare glass shade is missing. The shade must be broken and threy didn't bring it up. The expensive lamp is broken and a big chunck is out at the base. Again I have proof of what threy looked like` before and after. My Baccarat glasses and *** champagne glasses are missing as all of my dishes. I have 4 pieces brought up for glasses and dishes. This can go on and on and on and on for the horrible disservice they have done to an 85 year old woman alone."
Horrible experience with these movers. They do not follow any practices that reputable movers use. Extensive damage was incurred by their terrible work. PLEASE *** NOT USE *** COMPANY.No furniture was wrapped in plastic. On arrival to storage facility, they placed finished furniture surfaces on concrete with nothing to protect the surface of the furniture. This resulted in scratches and damage to the wood. No pieces of art were wrapped in paper and no corner protectors were used. They jammed multiple framed pieces into boxes resulting in damage to frames. The boxes did not completely cover the art (ie, exposed oil paintings). Glass table was shattered. Wooden table damaged after they placed a metal hand truck on top of the wooden surface with no protection. They did not label boxes as to the room where the items came from. And they packed items from multiple rooms in the same box. We had packed some items ourselves and labelled the boxes. They took those items out of the labelled boxes and re-packed them into unlabeled boxes. They disassembled furniture and packed all hardware into an unlabeled box. We found our television with no wrapping or protection of any kind. Items in boxes were not wrapped (e.g., they packed a heavy bronze statue in a box with a ceramic lamp with no packing. The lamp was destroyed). Clothes were thrown into boxes (eg, suits were not hung in garment boxes but simply thrown into boxes). No inventory was done.
Honestly, 1 star is too much! This company is anything but reliable! This company was hired by *** which is a broker (if I had known they were not going to be the moving company that moved me I would have never used them. ALWAYS check to see if the moving company you contact is a broker for moving companies). Moving Depot picked up my furniture & boxes on March 29 to move from Missouri to ***. They took my furniture and boxes to ***, *** where they sat in storage for 18 days! They didn't move my items here until they could fill another 18 *** which means they off loaded from the truck that picked up my furniture to an 18 ***. When I finally got my furniture and boxes it looked as though they had just thrown my furniture & boxes into the trailer. After the men unloaded my items I checked all my furniture with one of the movers and I had 5 pieces of furniture with chunks of wood chipped on 3 pieces (one was a 2 piece hutch & coffee table) and a table with the whole back split off of the top (which was an antique) and an end table with trim knocked off and one more piece. My new Amish all wood mirror that was less than a year old was crushed on one of the corners. When I stated that I wanted to file a claim for my damaged furniture (not the crushed in boxes that damaged a lot of my glassware and china. I didn't even file a claim for that because I packed it. After weeks I finally heard from the 3rd party claims company (***) that they would give me $76.00 for my damaged furniture. REALLY? I paid over $9800 for my move and they only want to give me $76.00? Don't ever use this company! They have no integrity and sure didn't care about my furniture or anything else!"

I had a great experience with the first part of my move from Chicago to Illinois. Chris, Lee, and John took such great care of the furniture, were super quick and really nice. So far a a great experience and I recommend them.
I made a HUGE mistake when hiring a moving company: I hired a broker that third party the service to this "MOVING DEPOT"USA (don't waste your money with brokers nor hire this moving depot). 1. I was requested to tip movers to avoid extra $600.00 of charge. I saw that they did this with somebody else as well; 2. We were requested to provide a schedule date that we wanted the delivery to be performed and this date was provided accordingly to our first allowed day on our new place December 21st. They tell us that we should mark it down a different date on the document since it could take up to 10 days to complete the trip. We were instructed to mark it on the 16th of December and to our Surprise, on Thursday 17th they called me explaining that delivery was going to be made on the 18th. It seems that they have all in place to guarantee we pay storage fees. On the same day they called informing about the moving arrival (Thursday the 17th), I received an email from them saying that our moving was just shipped and that it would take up to 10 days for the delivery to arrive (CROOKS). I called their customer service and a very mean and impolite person was explaining that it was my decision to deliver that day because we signed a document marking the 16th as the first available day (we were instructed by their team to do so). We had to leave Illinois on the same day, travelled to arrive in Georgia next day, I had to request anticipation to get the house keys, cancel hotel reservations etc. 3. They had zero care with our moving. We had broken furniture, truck has water inside and my office desk got damaged by that, broken dishes, broken glasses, missing item, the moving company who showed up to assemble our furniture (or what was left from that), didn't care to assemble in a proper way (they were not professionals prepared for that...), screws were left unattached... a nightmare! I am now, trying to file a complaint. Sent an email first, receive instructions, did all that was requested, they asked for 10 days to evaluate, I made a contact after 14 days and they sent another form to be completed, they are now requesting receipts with dates and value for all the damaged and "lost" items (they will not pay full anyways). Things that were gifts (obviously we will not have receipts), items that were purchased long time ago... they know how to protect themselves. We know we're not getting paid back for lost or broken / destroyed items... the intention of this post is simply to make you aware that there are companies out there that perform services only to take your money. They don't care about you!
I will NEVER make this mistake again and I hope you don't either. I feel bad for the folks connected to this company that are decent and hardworking but you need to change your business practice. 1. Deceiving customers into thinking they're saving money by quoting much less cubic feet you will use vs what's needed after you specifically identified ALL your items. Total cost almost doubled when shippers pick up my stuff. What can you do when you are on a timeline and you cannot adjust your schedule? You are forced to bite the bullet. I was quoted i only needed 288 cu ft but when the truck showed up, they don't even want to start loading because they said there is no way it's even close to that. You will be forced to sign a NEW contract on the spot and sure enough, it was more than 400 cu ft of space and I have to pay almost twice as much. If I was told of this when I was talking to your Sales guy, I will not agree to it. We did an inventory of EVERYTHING i was going to ship with actual dimension as i have my tape measure with me while i was on the phone. I was told of the total price and that's what I was expecting to pay NOT twice as much. You know you will not be able to compete with other legit movers so you ended up doing this malicious practice and THIS IS FRAUDULENT! 2. Customer service have no CLUE where your stuff is. I called your number in FL and was told that they're still not sure if my stuff was loaded in Chicago and they will call me back. Two weeks later, still no status and when you call them, they give you the same answer. Funny, when I called you again today (2/23) with the intent of filing a claim and cannot interrupt you between asking someone or putting me on hold or kept getting the "we will let you know alibi", you get so embarrassed on the phone when i told you that my stuff was delivered 2 days ago. 3. BROKEN ITEMS - as in shattered! One of my item from Greece was completely trashed, my 49" TV has a big hole on the box hence the TV was not working anymore. 4. MISSING ITEM - You lost my 65" TV ? And yes, it's still missing. 5. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE - If you are in this type of business, good customer service is expected. HANGING UP ON YOUR CUSTOMER IS THE OPPOSITE OF THAT because verbatim you said "I'm threatening you" when you're the one getting so upset and your attitude made it worse. The only reason why I have 1 star is to compliment the people that did the ACTUAL heavy lifting for you. The people that I met who picked up and delivered my stuff are VERY professional and respectful. You need to learn from them. National Relocation (the company that hired your company) just called and made sure the job was done right. You can use your imagination how that conversation went but if not for Tahani from NR who maintained her calm demeanor and respected the way I felt because of how I was treated by Moving Depot USA(or Moving Depot LLC), this would have been far worse. AV
DO NOT EVER CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY! This was the worst moving experience I've ever had after 4 interstate moves over the last 7 years! First of all, I specified a service that guaranteed delivery date and that never happened, so I ended up paying an extra $2000 in hotel charges while waiting for my furniture to show up for 10 days, which was half of the cost of the move itself. I could've just bought all new furniture with that money! Then, when it finally arrived, several large items either damaged or straight up missing due to lack of care in the packing and transport process. Now it's been 2 months later and I still haven't gotten any information about getting credit for several large and expensive lost/damaged items after going through the utterly ridiculous claim filing process, after which I was given a laughingly low reimbursement amount of $45 dollars. After losing or breaking over $500 of my stuff, they can't even have the decency to just reimburse my for the $300 amount based on the insurance level I selected. And even funnier, one of their customer service representatives think it's some sort of consolation to tell me "it's not my fault, I don't decide the claim amount, you have to take it up with them." What a joke of a company, don't know how on earth they stay in business! TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

I am in the process of moving from Chicago to North Carolina and cannot say enough how nice the mover were/are! They did such a great job and were fair on the price honoring what was said in the original quote. Would use them again!
Moving from Iowa to New Mexico Great guys, great team, very easy and pleasant to work with. Thank you!

Moving Depot is the moving company I went with uses. The company I booked our move through is called Mega Van Lines (TERRIBLE) but they use this truck company and I want to say Claudia from Moving Depot was very helpful during my terrible experience with the company I signed with. Claudia was caring and always answered my calls and tried to get the information for me that I needed. The reason I did 4 stars is because they work with this awful company called *** Also, the driver was very nice but I was told by *** they would put the furniture together that they took apart but the driver said he wishes they wouldn't say that cause he doesn't know how it goes together, other guys took it apart and he has no tools with him. He could have used more help unloading. He had his 18yr nephew but I think could have used another guy. My experience with the company I signed with was awful and Claudia from Moving Depot was the only one that really tried to help me. Thanks Claudia!

ZERO STARS
ZERO STARS. We moved cross-country with Moving Depot. The order took 3 weeks to arrive, with poor customer service in between. We are missing 7 items of substantial value, and had 3 items damaged to the point of not being usable. We also received items not belonging to us, which I noticed after I fortunately opened up the box. When I said this to the L.A.-based mover from Professional Moving Company who unloaded our items from the truck, he said that this mix-up of people's belongings "has happened during our last few moves." I asked them to remove the items, and when doing so they also took an item that did belong to me - but it was broken (a glass table top to a coffee table). I caught this as he was bringing the item to the truck, and fear he was taking it because he did not want me to see it had broken. The mover also stated that many items had been broken during their last few moves. The movers were also unwilling to dissemble our couch (it comes apart into two pieces, we have moved with it several times), and therefore did not bring it into our apartment. They instead told me I'd have to leave it on the sidewalk to sell it. We reached a compromise to put it in the driveway, but now I will need to hire another mover to bring up the couch. When I complained about the service, the movers would not let me replace the cash I had given them with a cashier's check. I was told I still had to pay the full amount, even though I did not receive many of my most valuable items and the couch was not brought to the apartment. They offered no recourse, saying I'd have to bring it up to dispatch. They also made a racist comment about the workers from dispatch, which I found offensive. Missing items: large wood dining room table, half of our wood entertainment system, large flat screen TV, Peloton bicycle, king-sized mattress, guitar Damaged items: Stainless steel trash can, glass top for a side table, serving bowl

I will NEVER make this mistake again and I hope you don't either
Horrible experience!
Horrible experience! We hired the Moving Depot to move us from Grand Rapids (Michigan) to North Canton (Ohio). The move from Grand Rapids was to be on 04.28.2020; our understanding was that our load would be delivered on 04.29.2020 or 04.30.2020. Loading our Grand Rapids home occurred on 04.29.2020, as scheduled. There was a lot of confusion, after everything was loaded; as the quoted price seemed to change. We had no choice but to pay the price. The price, essentially, increased by $900, as they didn't know we'd have a head or foot-board, when we were quoted for our king size bed, as we the head/foot board seemed obvious, to us. Remember...we are NOT movers and don't know what item specifics needed to be stated! We felt that that would have been obvious, when given the quote. We specifically asked the crew about the delivery, because we would be leaving Grand Rapids and driving to North Canton, if the crew would be driving that night, or going from MI to OH the next day. We were told, after our home was loaded, that the crew had to go to the East side of Michigan, to load another home. It was at that time, that we were told about the scenario that would follow. The crew had driven, that day, from Chicago to Grand Rapids; then was driving to Northville (MI) and then back to Chicago to unload! This was news to us, at that point...seems stupid to make the drive like they were planning. We knew we'd have an overnight between Grand Rapids and North Canton; we made the drive, so that we'd be there when our home was delivered. Little did we know that we would end up having seven (7!} nights in a hotel, waiting for our home to be delivered. Mind you...this is DURING a PANDEMIC; I am a cancer survivor with a very weakened immune system; hotel living was risky, to say the least. (Hotel expense approx $500.00) We would have NEVER dreamed that the move would take SO MANY DAYS! As an added expense, we had to board our dog for seven nights @ $43/night. When our load delivered, the crew did a great job. When everything is loading into your home, it's hard to determine everything that delivered and try to track if anything is missing. These are the issues that we had: DAMAGED Floor Lamp (silver) heavily damaged...won't even stand up. Floor Lamp (tri-pod) damaged where the light bulb goes in. Bedroom Lamp shade is crushed. File Cabinet broken to the point that we can not open the drawers, at all. End Table legs bent Dining Table legs bent King Bed foot-board & dresser chipped MISSING Electric Grill Microwave Computer Printer Air Purifier Step Ladder 6' Shepherd's hook BOX from Kitchen BOX from Bathroom We contacted Moving Depot, in Illinois, to file our damaged/missing complaint. We were told that we had to submit that claim thru their insurance carrier, MovingClaims.net, which we did on 07.10.2020. We have had ZERO response, and are now three months since filing our claim. We have gone the ENTIRE summer without our grill; along with all of the other items and any reimbursement for the damaged items. I hope that this review will help others to not make the same mistake that we did; hiring The Moving Depot. Really horrible experience...can't begin to explain that enough!
DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE
DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. STAY AWAY!

Lost items, broken items, added fees, lies!
When they arrived I was shocked like who are you all, and...

I contracted this company to move my belongings. I went through the item list at that time and they provided an estimate based on the amount of items I had and the amount of space I would take up in the truck. When I checked the itemized list I noticed that not all the things I told them I would be bringing were on the list. I received a call to confirm the pick up date. I provided updated information regarding my items and the lady I spoke to hurried me off the phone and kept saying it's fine you will have enough space. I told her I wanted to thoroughly go through the list to be sure I didn't get any surprises at pick up. With the new items I provided, she never gave me an updated price or new list of items. Morning of move I was concerned since I still hadn't received an updated list of items so I called and emailed the company. I was told it would be fine and I had had enough space and they had the updated list, but they don't send out other emails after the first one. Movers arrive in a small truck and it is clear my items will not fit. I call the company and attempt to see why it got to this point when I tried multiple times to update my list and every time I was told the estimated space was sufficient. The guy on the phone that I had been working with then refused to take my calls and the associate who heard my complaints hung up on me and I was unable to reach anyone else after. I ended up paying $1000 more at that time. When the guy was about to leave he told me that my items would be taken off the truck and placed on another truck for my destination. At that time I realized the company was a broker. Moving Depot USA never disclosed this and told me on the phone that they were the company to handle all aspects of the move. When my items arrived the company had contracted local guys in the area to help with delivery who arrived separately in their own vehicles. That was unexpected as well. One guy seemed to be clearly altered. My items were severely damaged. My TV was broken. 2 of the chairs to my table broken. My couch was broken. I was missing screws to my furniture and had to go to home depot to get screws for assembly. The delivery driver acknowledged the damage and even signed the slip because he was amazed at how badly my items were destroyed. There was also no separation between my items and the items of another customer so they brought multiple items into my house that were not mine and we had to tease out what belonged to me vs someone else. It was a nightmare. The driver told me to contact the company and file a complaint. However, I couldn't see where to do so on the website. Another unexpected event. You have to pay before they take your items off the truck so that in the event that they are damaged and you are unhappy, they already have their money so there is no risk for them.
Desired outcome: I would like compensation for my items. They broke my 55 inch smart TV. 2 chairs to my dining set and a couch as well as shipped

I hired this moving company, which I thought was a different moving company and , on 8/24 these people showed up . I hired someone totally different. This was an absolute mess and this company needs to be handled and I deserve better than what I got. I will upload my documentation but this company needs to dealt with and they need to treat people better. They are a bunch of liars who hide behind contracts when you are never educated about them and are told sign here, initial here, sign here, initial here...and then get told to follow protocol. I am spent with this company.

This company took my things for a move on June 22nd with a verbal agreement that they would deliver it on Friday June 25th. The driver contacted the owner of the company in front of me to guarantee my stuff will be delivered not in 1-7 business days but on Friday June 25th (2 business days). After all my belongings were placed in the *** had to pay half of my *** and sign agreements it stated on the paperwork that it will take *** days. When I question this before signing the agreement the *** (driver) told me that is only for long distance moves but since my move was less than *** to schedule delivery. On Friday June 25th they did not deliver. I contacted them and was told by *** that I will get my stuff sometime over the weekend and she would call me back. She did not call me back. It is now July 6th 11 business days after pick up and I still have not had my services rendered. They have not delivered my items.

On May 10 the loading/packing crew from the moving company arrived very late, 1:30 pm to pack and load a whole household
On May 10 the loading/packing crew from the moving company arrived very late, 1:30 pm to pack and load a whole household. They had to return the next day from 100 miles away to finish the job. Our things were delivered to the new address on June 4, over 3 weeks later! The cost kept rising after packing to a whopping total of $19,535. While packing I had to sign all their forms (under duress), which included an agreement to accept 60 cents per pound for any damaged items! Payment options were limiting. We incurred the additional cost of a dollar per cubic foot ($2635) to unload and shuttle our things into the neighborhood because their truck was too long. Nearly 40 items were damaged or destroyed (all documented by photo) by careless packing and negligent handling: furniture; sculptures; lamps; paintings; framed pictures; glass tea tray, etc. We've paid $1500 to have furniture repaired and other items are a total loss. We would like at least reimbursement for the repair costs!

We received a binding estimate of $6644.75 from Alliance Moving & Storage to pack and move our household goods from Illinois to North Carolina. Alliance contracted with Moving Depot to complete our move. Three men from Moving Depot showed up on the agreed upon date, 4/26 in a rented Enterprise truck, but would not pack or move anything unless we agreed to sign a form acknowledging that our move could cost up to $11,000+, nearly twice as much as the amount on the binding estimate. My husband refused to sign the form, and the movers eventually left without doing anything, leaving us to scramble to find another mover, since we had to vacate the property by April 30, the day of closing.
Moving Depot picked up my property for a move from *** to *** on 5/29. Partial delivery on 6/20. Not informed of only partial delivery. Td by driver remainder would come next day. Claims insufficient rm on truck. Truck was not packed well at all. Most boxes damaged. Furniture damaged! Never have received the remainder of my property. Calls are now being ignored!
We used Alliance Moving for our relocation but faced delays and issues
We used Alliance Moving for our relocation. Alliance subcontracted our move to Moving Depot, who had 21 business days for delivery. They exceeded this by 2 days, constantly citing the contract when I inquired. Full payment was demanded before unloading. Post-unloading, I discovered items were missing and was informed of a subsequent delivery. Despite promises of daily compensation for delays, this was retracted once I paid. I was assured of a follow-up call for the next week's delivery, which never came. Inquiries about the timeline were met with uncertainty and a referral back to Alliance. Our home purchase was finalized on 6/28.

1. 1st pickup Moving Depot LLC tried to double the quote from All Moving *** who never told me they were only a broker and not the mover. They were supposed to call the driver but never did. I agreed to a new quote of 855 cu ft because I would have lost my deposit.2. 2nd pick up was scheduled with a new driver ***.3. *** inflated the cu ft to 900 and extorted $300 cash from my brother cash to finish loading the truck. Then when the truck was loaded tried extorting more money saying the cu ft increased. My options were more extorsion money or leave items off the truck. We took items off the truck. This is verified by inventory lists. My belonging were being held hostage and I would deal with it when the truck made it to ***. I took pics of the truck after unloading to verify the cubic ft. It was under 700. I called Moving Depot and talked to *** who was unprofessional and yelled and screamed at me. I was over charged roughly $1,100 between extortion money and cu ft not used

This company assisted with my move, but the experience was fraught with issues.
This company was enlisted to help me relocate my furniture and personal items. They picked up everything on June 27th, but the billing was incorrect from the start, with promises to correct it that were never fulfilled. I expected delivery around July 15th, but as the date neared, my attempts to contact the company were fruitless. After being ignored and informed that they were not taking messages, I finally reached someone three weeks past the due date. They were unsure of the location of my belongings and lacked drivers, yet offered compensation. On August 18th, my items were delivered with an attempt to overcharge me by $300. The manager used profanity and hung up when I contested the overcharge. Ultimately, I received my belongings at the agreed price, minus a few dollars, but two motorcycles, a dollhouse, a piano, tools were missing, and there was extensive damage, including to my TV.

Moving Depot moved our entire home contents from IL to SC
Moving Depot moved our entire home contents from IL to SC. We jad a horrible experience. First, they arrived at about 8pm to load our entire house and were there for hours. My husband has a valet piece of furniture that has a drawer. He kept 2 rolex watches inside. We taped the drawers securely shut with duct tape the night it was packed. When the valet was delivered it was wrapped in plastic and we unwrapped it and the tape was off and the watches gone. They were stolen between me taping them (as they were there they mustve seen me taping the drawers) and them wrapping it in plastic. THEN when the stuff was delivered in SC they only sent one person to unload! The driver! They sent one person to unload a huge truck load of full size beds, couches, heavy chest, etc. My husband had to help him unload! We paid this company THOUSANDS of dollars for my husband to help the one guy unload our own belongings. Absolutely ridiculous. Other small belongings have come up missing since we have completely unpacked. My daughters storage shelves for her toys are completely gone, for instance.

Hi I have following issues With the service MOVING DEPOT provided to us when we moved from champaign illiniois to Fort worth, texas When we received our furniture in December to our address in Fort Worth.we have following furniture set broken 1) Master bedroom set is broken and completely spoiled it now holds 0 values 2)Kids bedroom set broken completely 3)Study table set broken so bad that we had to throw it out and could not keep inside with us. our expensive and best furniture was the only reason that we had hired these people and transfer these to texas but now we have with us is broken furniture because they did not handle it properly. We complained to driver about it when they were unpacking it. And he took pictures and also took notes on what is broken and assured us that he will work with company to get it resolved and have us refund/maintenance money back. after one week we again followed up with them as they didn't reach out to us. we called them Moving Depot asked us to send an email to their another insurance team which will take care of this issue within 6 months and so we did send them email to their insurance team with all details and pictures of our broken furniture. We have been trying for long to follow up with them on email however now it is 6 months and we have not received A SINGLE response/update from them We are somehow managing with our broken furniture which is also risky to use. We hired this company to move our belongs from Illinois to San Diego
We hired this company to move our belongs from Illinois to San Diego. AT delivery,We were advised that delivery would be made between 8-10am, we called at 10am to find out when they might be arriving since they never arrived. They advised us that they have 2 flat tires. (how this happens and why they did not call us to let us now, went unanswered)Finally at 11:30 am a Man and wife with their 10 and 12 year child arrived to unload the freight. I believe last I checked here in the United States we have Child Labor laws to adhere to. Clearly this company does not comply with child labor laws as they had children and their parents unloading this truck. The wife was beyond rude and disrespectful. My floor standing mirrored arrived completely broken, I had completely bubble wrapped it at time of pick up and they never covered it in a moving blanket as they assured me they would. I AM MISSING 12 boxes, a hamper a mattress pad a 4 tier metal shelf, and they said too bad we do not have it in the truck. OF course they delivered on a Sunday and no one in the maing office was available. NO ONE to assist at time of delivery. Just very poor englsh speaking individuals trying to deliver freight with children. I then called Monday morning and got even a more rude unhelpful individual named Kay SMith, who claimed she was management, and she too had very bad speaking grammar. What kind of company is this? They should have their license revoked and not allowed to do business at all. Product_Or_Service: moving Order_Number: 721292

The company stated above was hired too move my belongings / furniture from Illinois to my current address. They picked up my belongings from *** W lake blvd Danville Illinois on 5/25 and I was told my things would arrive by 3-5 days of my delivery date that was established as 5/28. I called this company daily and no one knew where my things were. I was told they were in Chicago Illinois. I finally was notified that my delivery would be 6/11 between 6-7 pm. The delivery truck arrived at 2000 ( approximately ) and I was first asked to hand over the payment ( before I was able too see if these were actually my things). They finally unloaded them. Many boxes were dented / damaged and items missing. My late mother's China dishes were broken ( I had pa led them as directed and many boxes appeared they had been opened ). My BBQ grill was missing and damage to my Seven Simple women's bicycle. I reported my complaints to the company several times and was told I would be contacted . I have not ). I did file a complaint ( by the link provided by the company ). They have not reached out to replace my missing grill or make things right. Im very disappointed that I was treated so poorly and suffered emotional distress. My late mother's dishes cannot be replaced and my damaged goods cannot be fixed and the company has not attempted to locate my BBQ ( that is appropriate approximately priced at 250$ ). My bicycle was a 400$ bicycle that now has damaged tires and rust / scratches on Bike. I hope no one else suffers from this companies lack of professionalism or concern of my move from Illinois to Florida. So disappointed and upset. Original Quote: $5868.68 Paid on Reservation: $1306.05 Additional Requested: $1000.00 due to possible underestimation Additional at Loading: $2316.50 Original Balance on Delivery of $2825.92--Paid on Pick Up Updated Balance on Delivery: $5143.42 Refunded for Late Delivery: $270.00 Additional on Delivery for Shuttle: $865.00 TOTAL COST OF MOVE: $10,870.39--Almost TWICE the ORIGINAL QUOTE!The original company booked with was All Coast Moving, who, unbeknownst to me, brokered this move out to Moving Depot, ***, .When I booked this move, I explained THOUROUGHLY to *** at All Coast that I had 2 storage areas and the exact measurements of each. I explained that both areas were packed completely. I asked if someone needed to come and assess and was told that was not necessary...they did this all the time and my quote took the information given into the process. Not only did I pay far above the original quote...I was also put though much pain and suffering as my things were not delivered on time. I missed my dad's 90th birthday party (12 hours away) and he passed away about 9 days later. I had to have a friend drive 12 hours from *** to stay at my home in order to attend his funeral because I could not get a delivery date or time. A few hours after the service, Moving Depot called and said they were 20 min. away to deliver. I drove all night in an emotional frenzy to get back home to receive. When I arrived, I was informed that they would need to get a shuttle to deliver and would be charging me an extra amount, but would not be delivering that day as stated. This was a total emotional trainwreck! This company should NOT be in business! I cannot upload documents due to the quotes only being in email form.

Per section 1 of the *** of Lading, Moving Depots liability is always subject to the minimum valuation of $0.60 per pound per article in compliance with, and subject to, the limitations and provisions of 49CFR section 375.701(a)& (b). According to this document, Moving Depot LLC shall be liable only for its failure to use ordinary care. My complaint is that Moving Depot did not use ordinary care with my items and is therefore liable. 1. Many boxes/bins arrived heavily dented causing unnecessary breakage. Several boxes marked fragile/glass were dented or stacked underneath heavy boxes. Two boxes were punctured as if stabbed by a fork lift and another had a small puncture and some arrived opened. Several plastic bins had damage to the handles and one was cracked on the bottom. There was damage to my antique sewing machine, and the back of a chest of drawers was smashed in. This damage is proof of gross negligence by Moving Depot, the warehouse workers, and their movers. 2.Three inventory items were never received and I informed both Moving Depot, and the moving broker VanLines of this by email soon after delivery. 3. The inventory list was confusing from page 4 on. The numbers were overwritten and often did not match the numbers on the item. Some boxes had lost their labels in transit and some had two. It was time consuming to correctly identify each item on the list. The freezer and a bin were listed twice. Oddly there were several items listed individually on the inventory but were actually packed in a wardrobe box also listed on the inventory. These inconsistencies made the inventory list longer, resulting in an artificially high cubic footage and a higher charge.4. I received an item that was not mine with a number (SK0149) similar to mine (SK0445). Was there a similar mix-up with my missing items? What do I do with the item that is not mine?

Five pieces of our furniture was delivered damaged
Five pieces of our furniture was delivered damaged. I submitted a claim with photos of damage and the paperwork requested. I received an email stating the settlement amount would be $50 for all five pieces. I did not agree and asked to provide details on how the amount was calculated. Note, the required signed Carrier's Liability document states $0.60 per pound. The weight listed on the inventory list at pick-up totaled 385 lbs for all five items, a value of $231. The $50 amount comes to $0.13 per pound. I received a second email stating a new settlement amount of $80 but there still was no explanation of how this amount was calculated. The $80 amount come to $0.21 per pound. Finally they sent an email with the weights but the total weight listed was 133 lbs not 385 lbs. as stated on their pick-up inventory. When I questioned it, their return email stated that I had to re-submit the claim, so I did. Their response was that Customers are only allowed a one-time opportunity to dispute. FYI, I also provided them with calculations of the weight based on the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) calculated as 1 cu.ft.= 7 lbs. They had no comment and are not pursuing it any further. Since no explanation was given for the first settlement amount or the second one, the claim should of stayed open and reviewed. Based on the DOT guidelines, the total weight is 419.23 lbs and the total value is $251.54. Basically, they had me jump thru hoops to send them photos and copies of documents that they already had but would not give any explanation of how their amount was arrived especially since the settlement amount does not follow the DOT guidelines. Based on no explanations from them as how they arrived to either settlement amount, it does not appear that they follow any guidelines when they need to payout or they use different weights when they pick-up versus when they need to payout. I can provide the calculations, furniture dimensions (for cu.ft. calculations), photos and paperwork. Product_Or_Service: Moving Service Order_Number:
