lies no delivery no partial refund
I made a reservation for 118BMW from Cairo Egypt -katamya branch since 20 of January 2016.
I paid 175000 Egyptian pounds as they promised me to deliver me the car soon.
Without so many details.
Now after two months and give me nothing but lies and lies. I requested a 75000 refund as they told me they increased the reservation to 100000LE . I requested the refund many times with no response.
I want to file a sever complain against the one I deal with called sameh tawfeek. He is horrible to deal with and the worst model image for a brand like BMW . He say that he will reply to me and then he never did .he even dare to say he called while he didnot.no honesty credibility.
Over than 6 weeks now he keep saying the car is due to arrive by the end of this week and so on.
I have just phoned him after he said that refund takes 3 working days and now more than a week he said do you want the refund it is a big deal process.
I tried to contact the manger of the branch called Hisham awad but I could not. I went to the branch my self last Thursday and he was not there and they gave me a mobile number he doesnot respond to.
I reserved a Volkswagen car and I changed my mind to your BMW and I found another way if treatment from them. I got my refund after few days in cash without any lies or broken promises.
Please help me. And please give me a date for the delivery and the partial refund.
They increased the price of the car and got more than half the price and they don't respect their clients.
Looking forwards hearing from you soon.
Kind regards
Dr Nermin Abd El-hamid
these guys took money for insurance and it turned out that it didn't cover all the damage and wear of car
In December, 2015 I have leased BMW from Bmwofbeverlyhills. This company provided the “wear & tear” insurance. After a month I decided to change the car, because there were some minor problems with it. After the inspection, the rep confirmed that the “wear & tear” insurance would cover the damage and they wouldn’t charge me for extra money. However, 4 day...

So I had leased BMW 328xi coupe that was due to be returned on 2/17/2016. As per policy of BMW I had to get it pre-inspected within 90 days of return to assess any charges for extra mileage or excessive wear and tear. Here are the chain of events and fraud done by their Sales manager - Uwe Pheumer - I brought the car to the dealership on 1/11/16 for a...

defective roof mechanism
i have a 2008 Z4 convertible with an electronic roof mechanism. The problem I am encountering is that the roof retracts into a separate chamber that has not been designed to evacuate the water that accumulates when it rains. So what happens is that the roof motor sits in water and corrodes over time. The repairs are about two thousand dollars each time since it is extremely labour intensive to remove the roof and get to the motor. This is the second instance where I have run into this problem and the roof retraction has failed. BMW are aware this is a known problem with multiple failures each year however are unwilling to reengineer and find a permanent fix to the problem.
unresloved drivetrain noise
2007 x3 BMW M package..
1) Drive Train noise that cannot be resolved, is not passed off as normal for the vehicle... as a mechanic my self,
these is a design flaw somewhere and BMW will not fess up to it... I see many people having the same problem with these x-drives mostly around [protected] x3 along with other BMW's using the same drivetrain.
Many are subjected to expensive Transfer case, rear and front differential repairs that do not solve the problem.
I have done everything including tires too... and now "its normal for BMW"... no its not! there is a problem... just like the poorly manufactured cylinder head for the N52 engines, and BMW will sell you a head at a discounted rate to help you fix the problem... but no help with drivetrain issues.
2) The transmission is also an issue, software does shift more than normal, and is used to slow vehicle down a bit more and earlier shifting points than most cars.. my transmission with about 83, 000 miles shifts worst than my 'Dad's' 2004 Mazda with over 200, 000 miles!. This transmission (6 speed) is used in other vehicles and doesn't have the problems that BMW has had with them.. and I have seen many posts and spoken to BMW mechanics on the issues and its all because of the BMW software for the tranny. Most cases, when a customer complains initially when the shifting becomes hard and snappy, they adjust the software once, and then the next step is for the consumer to replace the transmission for $12, 000.
So known problems for this vehicle, all stemming form the manufacturer are.. poorly designed Cylinder heads, Transfer case issues, rear differential issues and transmission issues.
Everything has been serviced as per manufacturers recommendations. BMW says never to service the transmission, and at my 83, 000 miles I have replaced the transmission filter and fluids to try extend it life!.
My car now has 89, 000 miles and the differential sounds like its gonna give up soon with clunking,
Transfer case has been repaired at-least twice, no one can find where the whinning gear meshing sound louder on deceleration at the most common speed of about 34-40 mph and a higher pitch at about 65 mph.. no sound at any other speeds... just at the most common speed...
It would appear that there is an issue with the manufacturing of the gears either in the differential or transmission too.
You pay so much for this car, and as per their logo and advertised expectations, you expect quality. this is my second BMW, and had no problems for 10 years.. Why wont anyone do anything about this poor representation of their product? its like throwing money at BMW! we expect them to at least fess up to these issues and help us drive the car we expected to get... and stand by their name and product.
dishonest
1) Seller told me via email that back tires had "9/32 & 10/32" tire tread (exact quote from their email), my pre-inspection inspector said the tires had no damage, but did not list tread depth on the report, so I accepted the seller's measurement. When I got the Texas state inspection the shop told me rear tires are 3/32 & 4/32! That's the difference between a new tire and a tire that needs to be replaced! 2 run flats on a BMW are about $1000.
2) I specifically asked the seller: "Can you please tell me if there are any external or internal defects (scratches, chips, tears, etc)?" Seller specifically said, and I quote: "There are no chips scratches or imperfections on the vehicle. There are only 44 k miles. I promise if you purchase it you will be more than satisfied.". Well that is not true at all. I completely understand that a used car will have issues like rock chips, etc. But - what I found after the car was delivered will cost a lot of money to resolve. There is a large yellow stain on the drivers front seat back, looks like someone ruined the leather by using the wrong product. It has discolored the leather which now has to be re-dyed. My pre-inspector missed this because in daylight it is difficult to see, but the dealer should have disclosed it, and based on emails I believe they knew about it are now just claiming the inspector should have told me about it. While that is true, it does not excuse the fact that they lied to me about it. If they try to claim they did not know about it either - then buyer beware, they are not properly inspecting their own cars. The pictures I have personally taken clearly show the issue. If re-dying does not correct the issue the seat back will need to be replaced.
3) the old "as-is" game & ebay.
I attempted to allow the seller to make any kind of offer to resolve this, and at first they appeared to accept responsibility and even asked me to send them what I thought would be fair - which I did. Rather than counteroffer what I asked for, they simply told me to contact the inspection company. The problem here is that they lied to me about some very expensive issues and yes this is an "As-is" sale, but to me, "as is" also includes specific answers and measurements given by a seller.
Now here's the best part (or worst) - after the seller has been reluctant to offer any resolution, I decided to place a negative feedback review on the sellers ebay transaction. I stated only the facts, nothing considered inappropriate for an ebay review - just my honest dissatisfaction. Rather than the seller attempt to resolve the issues, they have, instead, reported to ebay that I did not make a payment for the item and had eBay cancel the item - which deleted my negative feedback! Of coarse I did pay in full for the vehicle, or they would have never shipped it. Chase bank shows the check as cleared. It is clear to me, also based on other BBB, Yelp, and cars.com reviews, that the seller is using this method to keep a "100%" seller. That is fraud. Not only does ebay view this as an attempt to afford proper selling fess, but they are unfairly trying to forge their rating. The seller has still not offered to resolve any issues with this vehicle.
- This could have been an otherwise excellent transaction, but it the seller won't play fair - others should be made aware of it.
I have attempted to negotiate with the seller, they have not offered anything thus far. The costs of tires to be replaced (Aprox $1000), and the leather of the drivers seat to be replaced ($1350). I have offered to accept funds in the amount of $1250 for both issues which included repair in place of replacement of the leather, the seller only refers me to the inspection company.
car service not satisfactory
(bad customer service) i'm a very angry, disappointed, humiliated etc.
On the 11/12/2014 I took my car for service to club motors fountains. later they called that the car is ready for collection I told them that I knock off at 16:00 they said they will send the driver to collect me and their arrive 45 minutes later after I knocked off. when we get to the dealer I made the payments of r 5409.05 and I went out to take my car when I open the car it was dirty and I was charged I called the service advisor to come and see and he find that is true and he call the personnel responsible for that dept. and it was arranged that I have to bring it again the following monday I took it back the same happened about collecting the car when I get there the was clean but the brakes were making noise on my way home but unfortunately the service advisor who was helping was not available on that day and when I got home I checked the service it was not stamped on the 17/12/2014 I went there for the stamp and the lady by the regina stamped the book for me but she back dated the stamped date to 11/12/2014. on the 8/01/2015 I send timothy the e-mail that i'm not happy about the car then he said I can bring it the following day, the following day I took it there and left with him as discussed my car didn't have any water leak what so ever when I live it at club motors but when I went to collect the car when I start the car there was a water light I went back to call timothy when he came he saw that yes there was a water light he took the car back to the workshop to fill the water then he gave me the car I drove off before I get home there was a water light again meaning my car was leaking water all the way from them. on monday I drove it but carry liters of water in the car because it was leaking and start boiling I was very frustrated fortunately it was driveable until I get to club motors I complain about to timothy and he said I must live it and they will check it but they are going to charge after diagnosing what cause the leak I told him why do they have to charge because they are the ones who broke my car he said no that's it works then they charge me r6738.28 again for their fault. please assist I trusted club motors but now I even regret why I took my car to them to break it I paid more than r12000 for nothing because even now my car is not fine I regret big time because my car didn't have all those problem before I took it to them now I have the car that I don't even trust but I paid so much
Please cancel my earlier request my Mini First car

BMW Car Complaint
Transmission faulty with my BMW auto. Egypt Cairo - Thursday, 1 January 2015
I am a Professor in Faculty of Engineering Cairo University, I have 320i 2008 BMW (Motor: 777T145 Body: 81754), its kilometers is 86727 kilometers, i always did my service regularly in the dealership at due time, and the car is well maintained and I had no complain about the car sicne I got it and that is why I chose a BMW car as it has a very trusty reputation.
But suddenly when I was going out of my work at Cairo university I started the car and got this very strange warring in my screen saying "transmission faulty drive moderately continue your trip and contact BMW service". And what a nice start for the new year .
I contacted the emergency BMW service and knew that they are in holiday till Sunday 4 /1/2015 . So I parked the car and will send it to the nearest BMW service on Sunday, but I am still on chock as how come there is a problem with the transmission specially with a trusted car like BMW. I bought this car because I did not want be in this situation and here it comes what a nice situation in front of my students.
I hope you will give some attention to this matter and certainly I will come back to you as I find more information out this from your Bavarian group in Egypt.
In all cases I expect you consider the good well concept as I have nothing to do with your transmission faulty.
Hope to hear from you soon,

bad dealership
Looked at pre-owned bmw's at dealership (hansel bmw) in talking with salesman car was way over blue book, but he assured me it will go through full inspection from their master mechanics and that was worth an extra 5000$ not to have to worry about mechanical issues, we were also promised a list of what was done to the car in their inspection. also promised it would be detailed and had a few chips in paint on one side, those were promised to be touched up. (i had paid cash for the car / 2007 328i) when I picked up the car it had not been detailed or paint chips fixed. also no list! 2 days after having car my service engine light comes on, so I call them, by the service light coming on that tells me it was not serviced. they had put new tires that was agreed upon and gave it to me. we were told that the list we were promised could not be given due to liability issues. it took 2 weeks to get the car in for the service light. (i also had paid cash for the car, so no rush to help this matter) after having to drop off at 7:30 in morning. I picked car up and had 2 vacume leakes that they fixed and also the tire pressure was checked, (brand new tires) that was just paper filler on work order. and still not gone through as promised. just enough to get light turned off. I then sent email to my sales person stating how unsatisfied with the situation and that it was unexceptable to promise customers services that were not done. I then get a call from manager and wanted to know what could be done to fix this. I wanted my money back! that was not an option after I was locked into a contract, they already had their money, in full! so they were willing to let me get something else and of course had to spend more money. manager said they were going to work with me on price other car was 2000 more he said he would knock off 200.00. I had received a coupon for a 1 time 500.00 off a used vehicle, when I presented it they said they would have to include the 200 he already gave me off price as part of 500.00. it has been a horrible ordeal buying from a dealership not to mention the inconvienence of the back and forth and getting rides and taking off work early to get this done. I will never recomend this place, and if anyone is going to buy there be warned about their work ethics. i'm sure they are good dealerships out there, just not this one. the only thing that would have made thing right with me was to give me my money back! they were unwilling to do so.

leather seat
I am writing this complaint out of severe disappointment. I ordered a 2011 bmw 328xi and last year had to have the drivers seat leather cover replaced as it was worn on the side due to the seat belt. Just noticed today, that the seat is worn again and it has only been a year. I think it may be a misalignment issue with the seat and seatbelt or something. I have owned several vehicles of different makes (chevrolet, ford, chrysler and volvo) all of which had leather and I owned them for 8-10 years and NOT ONCE did the leather seats wear as bad as this bmw has. Severely disappointed .
sold a bad car
I decided to purchase a vehicle from your Laurel, Maryland store on May 1, 2014- I have had the opportunityto drive this vehicle a total of 3 times.. It has been in the BMW repair shop
and CarMax.. When asked to extend the warranty on this vehicle your Customer
Relations Department declined the offer... We have made our first monthly car
payment and the car is currently in the shop with a new engine problem... I
find it disheartening that CarMax has failed to accommodate it’s customers.. We
are wondering who is willing to take accountability for the issues that we have
Continued to endure with this 2011 BMW- 535I... CarMax and it’s Customer
Relations Agent in Richmond, Virginia came across rude and identifying his
company as being accommodating and non-apologetic...
We will take this to the Media and all persons who’s willing to listen – including Capitol One
who chose to Finance this vehicle.. It saddens me that CarMax has identified their
business as one of Quality—we have failed to see this dealing with your
Richmond, Virginia office .
If a car is on your website to sell, it should’ve been thoroughly inspected before sold and commission
collected.. I expect CarMax to do something about my family and I being
inconvenienced because of the lack of care from your Organization.. My
conversation with your employee from the Richmond, Va office should learn the
meaning of, ‘The customer is always RIGHT’… and ‘CUSTOMER Service’.. It has
been a horrific experience and purchasing a vehicle should be a joyous moment,
but this has been everything except joyful and CarMax should be ashamed!

got my money. cars still running funny!
While driving my newly purchased used 2004 bmw 525i home from the dealership (Queen city auto sales, [protected]) on 02/21/2014 I noticed that the car was hesitating and that there was a smell of gas/oil. I called them immediately and was told the car was too low on gas; that I was paranoid and the smell was due to car sitting in back of dealership. Within the same week the car was shaking and big clouds of white smoke were coming out the back filling up the parking lot. I informed mohammed of the continuing issues and of the & ldquo;check engine/check control” messages being displayed. The owner, mohamed said not to worry about anything, he would take care of me like a sister and that no matter how much or how little I paid for a car, I have the right to have a car that runs well. I said I just don’t want to be taken advantage of.
They sent me to alex [protected]) , the guy who works on all their cars and told me he would fix the car. The car was towed to alex on 03/13/2014 and I was charged $450.00 ($70.00 for towing) , which I gave to sam in the dealership. Alex told them I worry too much. I was told that the repairs were completed on 04/02/2014. I was not given a written estimate before the work was done. Neither was I given a breakdown of the charges at the time that I paid the repair bill. I asked alex to fax the invoice to the dealership. He told me to come by and pick it up and he would explain everything to me.
Within one week of picking up the car it started to exhibit the exact same issues. I asked alex what the warranty on his work was and he said one year. He also said I could take him to court if I wanted to. Later, I left 2 or 3 messages for alex trying to coordinate a time to drop the car off to be repaired again, because I work two jobs, but, have not yet received a return call. Finally, I left a message for mohamed to give me alex’s last name and business name. I have not received an email or return call. I called my auto insurance company to make sure I had road-side assistance coverage because the car seemed like it would cut off at any moment.
Queen city has opened a new location on independence blvd. I mention this because alex said to me that he does a lot of work for queen city auto sales. They want him to get the cars in and out quickly. They want him to fix only obvious issues that the customer cares most about and can check quickly - like the radio and heat/air.
I have audio, video, pictorial, and email proof.

poor service
My car was given 'two year service' at Westerly, Exeter. Before that the car was a pleasure to drive. Since 16th September when a two year service was carried out I have had nothing but problems. loss of power, accusations of poor driving, also confusing details given. On the 20th October I had to call for help my car simply stopped. I had another problem on the 5th February called for help told to take it to Westerly to have it checked. I was told that until the problem showed up then I would have to accept that I would have more problems! I refused to accept this and was then told me that the clutched had been tightened.
I did contact the workship saying the I would contact BMW about my car. They then carried out another check and found that the brake was not releasing therefore causing more problems. I could continue with this problem but having written to BMW myself detailing what has happened and getting no response I feel that possibly I may get some advice from you. I bought the car in 2010 and have had problems since 2012
The mileage is 3391. I have driven for over 40 years and have never ever had a car breakdown ever during that time.

fraudulent repairs / bad workmanship
Utterly Disgusted with BMW SMG South Africa...
2012 BMW 1 series was involved in an accident and has been left at the SMG Repair Centre Briardene on the 13 December 2013 and up to this day, I do not have my vehicle back. I have now declined repairs on the vehicle 4 times due to bad workmanship on paint and overall repairs.
I met with the manager of the repair centre last week. Selvan advised that when I arrive, he will have a 40 point check done and a quality assurance certificate to state that everything is 100%. Nothing was produced and furthermore Upon inspection, we found the following:
Wrong Sealers being used on finishes
Further Damage to the new replacement fender and wheel arch.
Wrong welding techniques used with regards to overall repairs
Sealers not being used in other major areas
Prima not applied to key areas of the repair
Forced and damage signs to repaired areas which are under panels (trying to cover up/ hide damages)
No signs of factory finishes (spot welding)
The list still goes on…..
All the above mentioned was stipulated to the manager and part of his team by myself and a professional repairer whereby no one could answer to FACTS and EVIDENCE present on my vehicle.
I am utterly disappointed with the workmanship and dishonesty of the BMW Briardene Team and further more: Fraudulent Misrepresentation of workmanship
How many vehicles have left Briardene SMG without proper checks being done as customers think they have peace of mind.
I am highly disappointed with the integrity of staff and workmanship of trained individuals.
Duration to date for repairs= 4 months 6 days and now they want to do repairs for the 5th time... Appauling

fraudent warranty
I had bought a BMW X 5 in Jan 2012 from Al Naghi Motors, in Jan 14 i noticed that the tyres are chipping out and have uneven wear. I complaint to the service center and got the answer "there is no indicator or alarm that tells u that u have a prob with alignment" that explained the uneven wear but what about chipping, well they had no answer. After a lot of push they took the car in to check and came back with a report from the tyre vendor that this is normal and the chipping is due to driving on rough road. At this point I would like to inform that my car had done 22000 kms and my daily run with car is between office and home where my office is in proper city location and the route from my office to home is one of the main roads in Jeddah. I had sent a complaint to customer service of BMW and all I get is that we have sent your complaint to technical dept and would come back to you.
To change the tyres it would be anything between 15000 to 20, 000 Saudi Riyals which is absolutely bizarre. Can someone help

negligence in attending to repair
My BMW X1 Diesel, after a hydro-static lock was taken to the only service center available in Kerala at Cochin on 26th June. After 1 month, they gave a rough estimate costing around 5 lakhs with an indication that the actual cost may go to higher side and I was asked to remit Rs 3 Lacs as advance. Till date the repairs are not attended. It is kept idle on an open yard for the last 4 months. My request to exchange it with a new one under buy- back scheme is also not entertained by them or by BMWIndia corporate office at Gurgauon. They have a deaf ear attitude, except giving a cosmetic reply. Even if they do the repairs at very high cost and make it in running condition, due to the negligent attitude in handling the diesel vehicle, my recurring expenditure will be very high. My apprehension is (1) if they had repaired the damages due to water-lock soon after the incident, the expenditure of changing machine parts due to rust could have been minimal. And (2) by discarding the vehicle under rains & sun for 4 months must have caused damages to many parts of my car and even if they repair it at a very high cost, these damages will increase my regular service cost like anything.
Kindly advise me where shall approach for redressing my grievences? Would any automobile engineer reply me the damages that might have happened in keeping the diesel engine car for a long time of 4 months in open air subjected to heavy rains & sun.
