I received a pair of Bombas socks as a gift from my mother awhile back. I often wear compression type socks when I go on long trips or flights and are always comfortable, once you get them on. When I tried the Bombas socks, there was a tight sensation around the middle of my foot, but it was just a sensation I figured I would adjust to. I always wear socks to sleep in so I went to bed wearing these socks. I was awakened in the middle of the night with such an intense pain, that I could not get these socks off my feet fast enough! It was a rude awakening. It was a burning type of sensation if I had to put the sensation into words. Think about what kind of pain and how bad it would have to be to make you rip your socks off as fast as you possibly could. Like if your feet were on fire, literally! I did try it again to be sure that it was the socks and that it wasn't a fluke or something as I never had this happen to me before, or even anything close to this. However, I didn't go to bed the second time, and sure enough, it didn't take very long for the pain to start, although, being awake and aware that pain was starting, it didn't get quite as intense, though once it started hurting,, it was hurting bad and those socks had to come off quickly/ Certainly, I can't be the only person with this experience. It does make sense that being something that tight around your foot could cause poor or no circulation in the part of the body that is likely to be the most sensitive to poor circulation. I have to add that although the socks were tight around the middle of the foot, it wasn't too tight. It was just tighter than the rest of the sock. I'm concerned that this is happening to people other than myself. I think of diabetics and those with neuropathies that can't feel their feet. They wouldn't even know about it happening until serious damage was done.

I have told all my friends and family about Bombas and I have been wearing them for years! They are quality socks. I have ordered a LOT... one time I did get a bad batch because I felt like the quality wasn't as great and my son ripped his socks in a week. I called the company and they replaced it no questions asked.

Any options for 0 stars?
Any options for 0 stars? I was supposed to get a refund for socks "made in China". Don't want them. They told me to donate them and would refund me. Never got that refund. Was told there was a "problem with their system". I guess they just try once to refund and then forget you. Scam company. Do not do business with them.

I placed 2 orders using the Bombas web site, one for 4 womens pair (BO-Ankle-017), and the other for 6 mens pair (BA-Ankle-001)
I placed 2 orders using the Bombas web site, one for 4 womens pair (BO-Ankle-017), and the other for 6 mens pair (BA-Ankle-001). They were ordered during the Black Friday sale at 50% off. I received a notice of my order and tracking information. They were being shipped out of China, your Bombas customer service people indicated they don't recognize their transaction ID number and can't help me without a Bombas ID order number, which I never received (catch 22). Since I can not get any help from your customer service (because there is no Bombas order number available) I had to turn it over to my bank as a fraudulent charge. Your customer service people insist that you have never sold socks at 50% off, but I have a copy of your Bombas web site that states different. I would appreciate someone contacting me to solve this dispute. Thanks

Bombas has NO customer service!
Bombas has NO customer service! If you call their phone number, they say that they are not answering the phone and that all inquiries have to be through their customer service email. You send repeated emails and never get a response. On their products: the wool socks are good. The sizing is not consistent across the socks in the same packet, much less across individual packaging. The compression socks are really terrible. The top hem is like a tourniquet around your leg. The previous comment about the area around the foot being too tight is right on. There is great inconsistency with the knitting through out the individual sock. I am strongly considering never buying from Bombas again. Customer service is everything and they have no customer service. The buyer should beware. All these negative reviews are mainly do to customer service. All Bombas has to do is respond. Exchanging or returns are secondary to just responding!

I placed a order approximately 3 weeks ago and when it had not arrived I contacted Bombas to inquire, after a couple more days I received a email stating it had only been 8 days but assured me my item had shipped and was on it's way, the next day a representative emailed me that the items I ordered and supposedly already shipped were out of stock and I could either choose something different or be refunded, but gave no instructions on how to make that happen, so I have tried to contact them via email several times since and I have received no response

Purchased 2 shirts on 11--2020 and then returned on 12-*-2020 doe to fit issues. When items were finally received, they initially informed me that only 1 shirt was received. When I questioned this, they then corrected this to receiving all items. Was informed on complaint number *** that I would be receiving a full refund within 3-5 business days. This has not occurred and after repeated attempts to get my refund...file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com, etc...I still have not received a response, nor my refund.

I purchased socks for my wife for Christmas from Bombas
I purchased socks for my wife for Christmas from Bombas. All went very well. However, she tried the socks on and they didn't fit her. They were too long. I contact Bombas to do a return. They responded fairly quickly and instructed me to complete a form to expedite the return. I completed the form and that is the last I've heard from them. Nothing. I've repeatedly tried to contact them but no one will return my communciation. I've also tried to call their customer service number but was instructed that customer service is only being delivered by email. I am stuck. All I want to do is return the socks and get an exchange. I spelled this out very clearly on the returns form I completed. They pride themselves on happy customers, I am not in the least bit happy.

I received a gift of three socks
I received a gift of three socks. The package had no gift card and no details on how to make an exchange or return. I contacted the company asking how to exchange two of the pairs and/or who sent me the gift. I received a response saying that they could not tell me who sent the gift and that they could not make a return or exchange without purchase information. They said that they could contact the purchaser, notify them that I wanted to make a return / exchange, and request permission to reveal their identy. I complained noting that I was unable to make the exchange solely because they did not provide the gift receipt or order info in the package they sent me and that I did not want the sender to know that the gift was not being kept. I also said to not do anything and that I would simply file a complaint w ComplaintsBoard.com and post the experience on line. Within momements, they responded saying they would allow an exchange and asking what I wanted to do. I responded requesting the exchange saying what items were problems and what items i wanted instead. There has been no response from the company since my last note.

Bombas advertised on social media (FB) as well as on thier site, during the month of December , that by referring a new customer through a code system, upon a purchase by that customer, I would receive $30. coupon (credit) to be used on my future purchase. I was sent 4 referral credit coupons for $30. each. When trying to apply them on my purchase, only one coupon was accepted. There was a note under FAQs that stated if there were multiple referral coupons, send info to customer service and those would be consolidated. I did send the info including the credit coupon codes. The initial email was instantly responded with an auto, "We will get back to you." After a week of no communication, I sent that with a question of other referral credits not being sent, as I knew additional referrals had made purchases. The response was for me to send the four initial credit codes (WHICH I ALREADY HAD) and I KNOW those codes were already on my account WHICH THEY HAVE. I also sent, at their request, the customers' email addresses who made purchases using my referral code(s) on Jan 6. NO RESPONSE. I resent on Jan 12. The complete lack of customer service is pathetic, and false advertising of referral reward offers is illegal.
