Bosch dishwasher
This company has ZERO professionalism when it comes to customer service. I have been on the phone on hold all morning and twice I got through after over 30 minutes wait time to get cut off. When ever I call I get a rude person on the line before this. I have constant trouble with my machine. I had a Bosch for 16 years before this new one that cost twice as much and nothing but trouble. This is very upsetting that your customer service is so awful and to speak to someone I have to waste a whole entire morning. I will be not in the best when they finally pick up the phone. Lower your prices if you are giving awful customer service. IMmVERY disappointed in this company.
Icemaker 500 series and poor service.
I'm once again in a mess with Bosch.
1. Product issues with icemaker and 500 series refrig.
2. Already replaced the entire refrigerator and icemaker stopped working 88 days after installation.
3. Every time issues with either technician and service trying to resolve. Executive Team admits continued problems but doesn't care and overriding because they believe Bosch employee's once again didn't follow their procedures. They punish the customer for their employees failures.
4. Clear and consistent pattern of over a minimum of three major appliance issues. (A) faulty product nor working (B) horrific customer service experience that requires sever customer action such as filing BBB complaint. (C) Bosch Executive Team determines that their technician and customer service failed to follow policy and/or guidelines (D) After acknowleding employee failures with the customer, they simply don't care to have satisfied customers. The Bosch Executive Team is exactly like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain trying to manage their untrained and acknowledged poor service through punishing the customer. To date they cannot provide one single document to identify the resolutions to overruling their trained technician. Everything is piecemeal, partialized, convoluted, and messy. Within 24 hours they can't even get a consistent BBB complaint - reply.
Bosch Oven HRG6767.2A
Cannot change temperature by twirling the outer ring anymore and the the grill side sensor does not work at all! Very frustrating as cannot grill and or bake - you might say useless piece of machinery and I am spitting mad. I have owned the wretched oven for about 2 years now, and to begin with it was fine, but now the twirling ring to change termperature will occasionally work (but not tonight) and I am fed up. The grill side doesn't WORK AT ALL. I bought this oven at Good Guys in Mandurah about two years ago. Very very cross.
Bosch refrigerator
It is only 4 years old and we were having the same problem when it was only 3 years old it is a French door the temperature is set at 37 degrees and it will freeze a pitcher of water or a gallon of milk there is only room for 2 and a half gallon jugs .The cold air blows out of vent holes right on container in the back of compartment. I think that air diffusers on the hole’s would solve the problem.

Stove/oven electric range, induction top
Was purchased about 4 years ago with sporadic error codes. Starting two years ago the oven portion would only operate for 30 minutes then shut down. Error code is a consistent flashing U1. We were told it was "overheating" and to replace the blower. Electric company verified our power is within parameters.
We have been replacing the fan/blower every 6 months for $600 apiece.

300 series dishwasher
I moved a year ago and wanted to purchase a dishwasher through Move Snap partner Bosch. I cannot get a hold of a representative to speak with in customer service. Apparently your system has difficulty with my address. My bank has approved the transaction 3 times. I was told I might be able to order over the phone but I have been unable to connect with anyone and wasted 2 hours on hold! I wanted to purchase my dishwasher at the current price of 737.00 before you jack the prices up tomorrow. So disappointed with this company. You used to be amazing. Will be sure to let others know you don’t honour tour partnerships.
Desired outcome: Order dishwasher and parts at today’s price along with the necessary connection products. Delivered to my house!
Dishwasher 18” panel ready
I purchased two Bosch 18 inch panel ready dishwashers in September 2021. I am now one year later and one of the dishwashers has never worked and the other works intermittently. We have contacted Bosch For warranty claims and we’ve had to repair companies come out with neither fixing the problem I’ll suggest a replacement which we agreed to and it’s been denied. They will not stand behind the warranty and we were stuck with two dishwashers that don’t work
I would not recommend this company to anyone as their warranty department has no authority to solve the problem after I spent over $2000 for appliances that don’t work
Series 800 Refrigerator (new and under warrantee)
My relatively new Bosch Series 800 Refrigerator quite running after a short power outage, everything else in the home was fine and we do have a whole house surge protector built into our electrical panel. I have tried rebooting it after a 30 min unplugged state and it is stone cold dead. I called Bosch who gave me the number of (3) repair companies and told me to call and work out something. Two of them will not work on anything they did not sell and the third was too far away. I spent over 3 hours on hold on several calls attempting to relay my frustration with having spent $4,000 on an appliance that failed and a company that expects me to resolve the problem. The one company that was certified on Bosch, is within range and available is not certified to do warrantee work so here we are being told that Bosch will find someone by Labor Day!...do they think we have multiple refrigerators and can just go without refrigeration in the summer? The Bosch name no longer means anything outside of poor customer service and overpriced junk. At this point I want to dump it and go with another product as you could not find poorer customer service or product quality for the money

Dishwasher
July 2022: Bosch dishwasher almost caused house fire. The power cord was literally fused to the back of the unit. Bosch claims my model is not part of their current power cord recall, but this is obviously an overheated power cord problem! I just paid my Appliance Repairman $125 to come look once I smelled burning and want to be reimbursed by Bosch for that expense.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of $125 repairman visit and a new SAFE power cord.

I have made a complaint over 1 month ago about this hbg73s550a oven.
Case number. A0479557 was logged. I want a replacement oven as negotiated, hrg6769 b2a $4149.00. I need this urgently and have been awaiting for over 2 weeks, since I accepted boschs offer. Please have delivery contact me urgent to advise on delivery date of this replacement series 8 built in oven..
I find the service, callbacks responses etc from bosch are very tardy, for the amount of money I have spent with bosch. Stove top and dishwasher as well.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Hours on hold, no music, no time estimate just dead air. 800 # doesn’t work. Designed to drive off calls. No it’s not a peak time - because all the time can’t be peak! - you just need to hire and train more staff. You obviously don’t care. You obviously don’t monitor call wait times or quality of service. You are deliberately driving callers away is the only explanation! Whatever you do, don’t buy a Bosch appliance!
Desired outcome: Fix you 800 number and terrible service. Monitor call waiting. Hire and train adequate staff! Put Muzak and wait times on your hold lines
Dishwasher
Lodged a claim on our warranty on 21/12/2021 and this issue STILL isn't resolved and we are STILL without a dishwasher. Multiple calls, emails and contacts regarding this and no follow up or help.
Main seal at the back is leaking and water is filling the entire Cavity. After draining it still get E:15. It has caused water damage on our floor.
We will be taking this further if not resolved in its entirety within 14 days.

As suggested, I waited until Tuesday February 1, 2022, but still did not receive the order. Therefore, I contacted Bosch,
I received a Bosch autoreply on February 1, 2022, 2:46 pm, stating:

I still had not received any response from Bosch today (2/10/2022)
On Friday, February 4, 2022. I called Bosch Customer Service [protected]). The agent told me that the dishwasher has been back-ordered.
I also contacted on February 4, 2022 SPM*BoschHomeApp [protected]), the agent, Carlos also tried to contact, but failed to get a response.
I also have not received any follow up from Bosch, and I still have not received the dishwasher today February 16, 2022 and do not know if it will arrive tomorrow, in eight months or not at all.
Please let me know what the order status is and withdraw the credit card charge until the dishwasher actually ships so I do not have to take further action on the matter.

Car service
Good Day
I took my vehicle in for a service at Bosch Car Service Carnival City on the 15th of December 2021, I informed the consultant of the below issues.
1. Vehicle is smoking
2. Vehicle is using a lot of oil.
3. Car needs to be serviced
On the same day of the 15 December I received a call stating what needs to be done on the vehicle, attached is the invoice and I paid in full. When I went to collect the vehicle I was told that the car needs to go to the Engineers, and they closed for the December holidays.
Never heard any news from the branch until I phoned to do a follow up on when I can bring the car in, they told me to bring it on the 17th of January 2022. They had the car for almost a week, and I was informed that the Cylinder head (Valve Stem Seals) needs to be worked on. The Manager also informed me that I was under quoted by the lady that worked there and she has been fired, and I needed to make an extra payment of R3000 to get the car fixed. I ended up paying R2000 to get the job done, instead of R3000. (New Quote was given as per attached). I then went to collect the car on the 22th of January 2022, the car was still smoking and had a new issue now of an oil leak (That was never the case), the mechanic told me the smoke was going to go away in a day's time. I drove the car for about 500 Km and had to put in oil to keep it up to the level and the smoking got worse. I took the car back on the 25th of January 2022 and informed the consultant that the car still has issues. (Smoking, still using a lot of oil and now an oil leak).
The Mechanic and consultant confirmed that one of the parts wasn't fitted correctly causing the oil leak and had to be redone. On collection I asked if the issue has been resolved and the service consultant told me the car is still going to be smoking and if the smoking doesn't stop then I have to pay again to have it fixed.
I told her that this is unacceptable and I want to speak to the branch manager, her response was "he is not in". I said he was never around. I requested to speak to him on Saturday as well. She responded saying "He doesn't have time for YOU PEOPLE, he's got better things to do" (Not sure what she meant with YOU PEOPLE). I then took my car keys and she responded saying (YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, TAKE US TO THE RMI OR LAWYERS EVEN THE OMBUDSMAN!)
I hope this is not the standard customer service that Bosch provides to it's clients, hope to hear from you soon to get my car issue resolved as the branch is giving me the run around. They couldn't even drop me off at work or home, I had to walk up and down and do follow up calls, this is really unacceptable. (Only got dropped on day1).
I spent close to R10 000 and my car still has the same problems, and now an extra one leaking oil. The car was returned to the branch on 25/01/2022 to have the issue resolved but no luck.

I phoned Bosch Customer Care on 17.1.2022 to request a Bosch accredited technician to attend to a Bosch fridge that wasn't working and out of the guarantee period. I was given a reference number. Two days later I still hadn't been contacted so I phoned Bosch call centre again. They assured me that a technician had been scheduled. After 7 days, I cancelled the call out as no one had bothered contacting me. Bosch appliances are superb, however their Customer Care Centre is appalling, infact non existent. Furthermore, one tries Googling Bosch Head Office, only to find that one gets through to the same call centre again which is the very department that is worse than pathetic.

The ice maker does not work. While still under the original 12 month warranty I had a service call to fix the ice maker. When the service man left the ice maker was working. 3 month later it quit working again. I purchased the extended warranty and called for service and was told that it was a pre excysting condition and that it was not covered under the extended warranty. This is a terrible company with terrible products and warranties. I ask for them at 2 weeks into the purchased extended warranty to refund my money for the extended warranty and they refused.
Desired outcome: I want my money returned for the extended warranty or I want my ice maker fixed.
Gas stove regulator

I ordered a gas stove regulator from BSH Home Appliances on 22 Sept. 2021 and the sales person who helped me over the phone was Mahibila Sontaga (sontaga.[protected]@bshg.com). I paid R1690.19 for this part. After I received the part it was installed in my gas stove. It did not work. The over was still overheating and you couldn't regulate the temperature. My husband phoned this gentleman and he said he will come back to us. To no avail. We have made numerous phone calls and I even sent him a mail. We don't get any answers. My income is the only income to the household and I can't waste money for something that does not work. Tomorrow is Xmas and I can't use my oven. This is now going on for 3 months and still they don't want to assist. The one time they said they will send a technician out but I need to pay for travelling costs. From Johannesburg to Phalaborwa is over 600km. I can't afford that. We don't need a technician. I either want my money back or I need a new part. My order number was [protected]

I just purchased this item and after several minutes managed to get the packaging opened, cutting my hand in the process.
Once I figured out a way to get it out of the packaging, I looked for the directions and there are none!
I have found directions online, but why would you not include them in the box?
Then I went to put the items in the package in the case provided. I could barely fit the unit inside, no room for the accessories.
If you're going to charge as much as you do for the item, include directions AND include a case that will hold the unit AND the accessories.
