I joined but quickly realised it was con so tried every way to cancel so send email to them and cancelled at bank to ensure no more payment 2 months down one they are sending my letters claiming i ow them 223 euros for a service I'm not using is this legal, I've tried to get back on there site to try and recover the email but they Seam to have locked me out

Don't go near this app. They are well organised criminal gang. I talked to my lawyer friend. If u already a member, This is what I should do.

1. Cansel your card and warn your bank.

2. Try to cansel (whice they wont calsel it easily ) but keep e-mail them every 3 days. and fax them every 10 days if u can. This will be your proof that u wanted cansel your membership( keep these emails and fax with you in case u take them to court or they will threatening with court.

3. The law protects your consumer rights when u buy service. (if u not living in a third world country of course) so in court they alread lost case and they know that.
(inform  police, and trading office, standards, google play.any where u can this will be proof aswell.

4. if they threaten you with debt collectors or any other things. Don't panic keep calm.  keep this letters and emails . if they came to your door, ask for  ID, picture, voice record. camera record what ever u can.  as a consumer u have  rights to keep ur ID hidden and u they also have do that.

5. Stop given them money . more money mean they are getting stronger and will be more victims.

Hi I signed up for a month with c-date but then cancelled my subscription through PayPal less than a week later as I realised it was full of fake contacts and nothing but scams. I received an email at the end of the month informing me now I have to pay a debt of £49.60. There collection team have replied saying they have not received any cancellation and that I'm liable to pay the debt as I have triggered their automated payment service reminder period.I have proof of the cancellation on the date from pay pal indicating I gave plenty of time prior to the renewal date.

To whom this may concern,

I'm sent this email to your company. Because this so called account isn't me I've issued this problem mouths ago to the police and my bank as my wallet had been stolen and my bank cards as well as my driving license was used multiple times in fraudulent activity before I had a chance to report it. It's been reported to the police and my bank so they are now fully aware of this on going problem.

Please may you amend this issues and have this debt cleared.
As this was not me, who made this account.
I have been under a lot of stress trying to sort these problems out. I thought this nightmare was over. I'm going to notify the police again as this is getting out of hand now.

Please cancel my premium subscription, I have contacted the police and informed them of this situation along with my lawyer.
You cannot charge me an amount of money that I do not owe. This is like forcing me to subscribe for the next period! The money is over the price you advertised! Also please stop sending me threats about the debt collector.

Become a member decided it wasn't for me, tried to cancel then told to wait for a fax, because I didn't get any I instructed my bank to stop all payments to this website. I received a email saying I'm in breach of contact and that I need to pay to reinstate membership so I can cancel properly. I declined and told them to take email
Confirmation as cancellation I then received terms on email with another payment demand and threatening to increase bill for unpaid fees. I have now received a letter in post demanding payment for a collections company which I'm guessing they own. I have registered them with Action Fraud which deals with Web crime.

My email and phone have been hacked in the recent past and I noticed unauthorised memberships, payments done in my name.

On the above note, I got to understand that there has been a premium membership created in my name and card. While I wrote a note to C-date customer service on this issue, they simply ignored my claim and now I have received a collection notice claiming 82.23 Eur while I had not availed any service.

This is nothing but a scam to loot money and I'm would like to bring down these scammers legally.

Then august £ 39.60 I need an explanation with out authority
I cant cancel my membership on line
To get the cancellation form:
1. Click on your circular photo icon > settings
2. Click on your membership > change
3. Save the document and reopen it in pdf, jpg or gif format before sending to us
There is not cancellation form on line

After discovering the that they took £39.6, I emailed them and they said they won't refund me and I need to go to my profile and click change on settings to request refund form and then send it to them.. I clicked on settings-subscription, no button to request form or cancel or whatsoever! Which confirming how they scam you and just steal your money!

Have tried to cancel membership, told to fill out a cancellation form from their website which doesn't exist, says will renew my contract in 7 days if they don't get their cancellation form which doesn't exist on their website.

I have contacted C-Date via email to try and get my Premium Membership cancelled, they have responded by getting me to follow their instruction: (see below).

When you try to follow their instructions, you get to your membership page, but there is no button labelled as "change". They are heavily misleading people and the cancellation process is flawed.

Like all other comments this is a disgraceful and expensive scam. When I signed up I was unaware of the extortionate premium membership I had signed up to at £39.80 a month. The profiles are on the whole clearly fake.

After about three months of casually accepting the withdrawal of £39.80 from my PayPal account I decided to cancel the payment as there is no transparent way of cancelling membership.Now they wish to make a charge of £49.80 as they have not been able to raid my Paypal account. They state collection proceedings will start if I don't pay. I will not be paying.

Any advice or guidance will be gratefully received

I signed up to 'take advantage' of a £9, 90 per moth discounted premium dating rate.

I have been charged £19.95 per month x 3 month ie £59.85. I complained to C-date...nothing. My card issuer has taken up the claim, blocking any further C-date debits, Visa is making a chargeback and Trading Standards are chasing C-Date.

'Burn the fraudulent [censored]!'

The instruction on how to quit your premium membership are ridiculous.
to send a fax to Luxemburg..
there is no way to save the file they request for the membership termination as PDF
and there is no other way you can terminate your membership.

Please add an option to quit the membership from the site or app.
Alternatively, provide an email address to send the cancelation request

I signed up for a trial period, cancelled within a day once I realised it was a scam site with fake profiles. I notified c-date that I wanted to leave and had no response back. Now I am receiving threatening emails and post demanding money and threatening me with court proceedings. This site prays on venerable people… I lost my wife to cancer early last year and was feeling lonely and like an idiot signed up to this site and got totally scammed!

You are still charging me £40 a month even tho ice deleted my account I want all the money you've taken and refunded or I'm going to court this is taking the piss! This has been going on for months now and every time I try and sort it I don't get a reply please refund my money or I'm going to contact the police or go to a fraud company to sort it out

Signed up and quickly changed bank details when I saw the state of the scam site and realised I couldn't delete it. They failed to take out 119 pounds due to cancelling my card and now they're sending letters to my house from ecollect saying they want 230 before September the 5th otherwise they're going ahead with legal proceedings. I have no intention of paying this. In their letter they specified that I have not replied to their emails but twice I immediately replied with the following:

‘This company is in violation of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Consumer Protection Act. I get free legal representation through my family and we will press charges if this is continued. This is a convention on the protection of the European Communities' financial interests act.

I warned you from my last email that if you should send me another request for money that we will be reporting you to the OLAF European anti fraud agency, so this will be now submitted

Hi, today I joined C-dating and thought I would try the premium membership out for a month, I had no idea subscription would automatically renew each month, I would like to cancel my service please as I am a single parent who cannot afford it. I see the way to cancel is through fax or post but the faxes never reach you? I can't help but suspect letters would probably not make it either. I worry that what follows will be threatening letters and debt collectors. Please would you let me know an easier and quicker way to cancel, obviously I accept my first payment will not be returned but I'd like to avoid any future payments.

I have tried to cancel my subscription and now they are saying that they will send to collections / debt agency. I have emailed as per process and no response but still demand money. The site is a scam, fake profiles. I would like to to terminate my subscriptions before I get legal aid.
There is no other way to contact them apart from the email address and I can't log in without them asking to submit my credit card details. This company should be investigated immediately.

I signed up to C Date for only a few days, it wasn't long before I realized the profiles were fake and the website was a scam!
I tried to cancel my membership but the email address to cancel memberships is buried and difficult to find. I sent two emails cancelling my membership but no reply. I received threating legal action if I didn't pay outstanding membership fees and this was the only time I was contacted by C Date!
I have now had a letter from CMS Global collection services saying I owe 81.68eur! The whole outfit is a scam! Profiles are not real, cancellation buried and made difficult the claims made about outstanding membership fees!
I have evidence of the emails sent to C Date requesting cancelation and have gathered reviews and evidence about C Date from all over the internet.
I am not afraid to seek legal advice and sue C Date if this is not resolved!

I've been sent a letter from CMS for global collection services and I owe them €81.73. I'm not sure how to pay them, or if I should there are a lot of people saying that it is a scam. I cancelled my payments a few months back as I couldn't find a way to cancel my membership. Could someone please give some advice on how to pay them or just leave it?
