Poor customer service and especially delivery.
Worst ever experience. I wish there is "0" star I can enter.
Ordered Laundry Set for my rental property on Jan 02 and was promised delivery date of Jan 20, the delivery was pushed until end of of Feb, which is understandable due to global supply chain issue.
I requested 40 min notice before making delivery so that I can drive to my rental property. 4 deliveries so far, NEVER HAPPENED. If 40 min notice is not guaranteed, DON'T PROMISE.
Online delivery tracking is not trustable.
Looks like they enjoyed not making deliveries, I even can hear the delivery driver was laughing when I say I cannot be there if they give me only 10 min notice.
I was given a kind of reimbursement for not making deliveries, but I really don't want it, I want the laundry set delivered.
DON'T call the salesperson you had to deal with because they will not take your phone call or call you back when you need them. You have to be at the shop talking to them face to face.
It is not done yet, will have to reschedule another delivery but they are trying to charge me for the "second" delivery.
I am pretty sure this is my last time dealing with this company, I wish I had gone to other sellers at the very beginning.

I ordered an induction stove in November, which finally arrived today (March 2). When I turned it on I was horrified by how loud the fans were. (Apparently they are turned off in the showroom.) I immediately - within 10 minutes - called the delivery company to ask them to come back with my old stove and return this new one. They said to contact CAS. CAS said that because I had plugged it in, it could not be returned/refunded. This is the most irresponsible customer service I've ever encountered! They also said my old stove was "probably already destroyed." (Within 10 minutes of pick up? I doubt it.) They also said they had no phone number for the delivery company. (Plausible? I doubt it.) SO I gave CAS the delivery number myself. Neither the delivery company nor CAS has returned my multiple phone calls today. The stove is in its original packaging and has not been used. Any self-respecting company would accept a hassle-free return of an unwanted item, especially such an expensive one, and would be able to return my old stove - especially because I contacted you within 10 minutes of delivery. Where are you, CAS?
Desired outcome: 1. Immediate return of new unwanted stove, with a complete refund. 2. Return of my old stove (which was picked up today). 3. No additional charges. 4. A sincere apology for the hassle.
Refrigerator / Dishwasher purchase.
We bought a refrigerator and dishwasher from the Vancouver location of CAS on February 12th, 2022. We waited 12 days for delivery of our appliances and the day (February 24th) they were supposed to arrive, these grifters added an additional $650 dollars to our bill as an additional delivery fee. We cancelled our order after hours on the phone.
Stove delivered broken
Nov 13 2021 Cas delivered broken stove at my oshawa home. We told delivery drivers about the dent but they refused to take back.
My tenants are using old stove that has fire hazard. Stove is never used but Cas denied to pick it up back. No customer service or replacement was issued.
We are holding Cas accountable if anything happens.
Replace the stove or refund the money.
Desired outcome: None
Incorrect refrigerator model supplied — no return or refund offered
November 12, 2021, After months of shopping and dialogue with sales rep, my wife called on November 12 to place an order and asked for 'the best package price' for the appliances we had been looking at since September. She supplied EXACT part/ model numbers verbally over the phone. The sales rep prepared a 'package price' to include a refrigerator...

When you talk to the sales, everything is solvable, i provided additional information, as well as the pictures of the house to ease the delivery.-October 14, 2021
However, they just delivered half way, left the fridge in the garage and said another team will call me shortly to discuss about the movement. I never received any calls. -October 16, 2021
Called and write email to sales, customer service, resolution center, like talking to the air. not some reply anything. October 16, 2021
Finally caught someone in the customer service, saying they will look after it. but no further contact at all. October 17, 2021
Called again on October 18th, working hours, they said they will arrange the deliver again on Thursday with a bigger team.
3 big guys came, not even attempt to move, ask me to remove the handrail on the stairway, then call them to come back another day... The fridge is still in the garage. October 21, 2021
And i have find place to park my car.
Will never forget the bad attitude of the CS, logistic team. very disappointed and I am the victim of such dishonest, careless and unprofessionalism business and service.
Desired outcome: Nothing yet
I ordered a big kitchen Aid frigde model KBSD608EBS black back on september 11 2021 and had custom made kitchen cabinets to fit the big frigde.. the Director Antoine Wells From Canadian Appliances in Laval, Québec now is telling me that he gave my fridge to somebody else and now this model is discontinued.. he even hung up the phone in my face and said he couldn’t do anything for me. I am very frustrated for a 11000$ fridge.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT RESPECT THEIR COMMITMENTS!
On Aug. 29th, 2021 we placed with the salesman, Joshua De la Peña, an advance order (Order No. T1627299) for 7 different items (5 large appliances and 2 small ones) with CAS, expecting to have delivery of them by the end of September or beginning of October 2021. This was going to be decided on the advancement of the renovations of our new home in Milton, ON. Of course, we had to pay for all items in advance, which we did by Sep. 3rd, 2021!
When we defined the final delivery date, we started leaving voice recorded messages and did send a couple of emails to the salesman, who was reluctant to react to our request for response. Customer Care was not helpful at all. They just said that we needed to deal directly with the the same guy! We decided to cancel the entire order
Desired outcome: Immediate refund of all Mainers paid!
Failure to deliver my LG washer and dryer with all the parts necessary for a stacked system that includes steam cleaning/drying
I ordered my LG washer and dryer face-to-face, in-store. I am led to believe the store manager took my order. I stated clearly that my current washer/dryer combination was stacked and I needed my new LG machines to be stacked. I also mentioned that both machines can use steam for cleaning and that all the parts would be included as part of the install fee...

Was intitially satisfied with service as the rep offered a bundle price to match that of competitors. Four days after the purchase, which was two days after the items were delivered, CAS substantially dropped the prices on all of the items. I contacted CAS, and it does not offer price protection on delivered items.
In the future, I will stick to the big chain competitors as they offer between 14 and 30 days of price protection.
Desired outcome: Match new, lower price
Whirlpool WRT318FZDB - Order T1499891
I placed an order 1st June 2021 as they stated it would be a 1 to 2 wk delivery where others were saying a couple of months. What they don't tell you is this is not true and was never going to be a 1 to 2 wk delivery. It has now been 3 months with no communication from Canadian Appliance Source. The only communication is when I have phoned them twice, ending up talking to an employee based out of Mauritius who has no idea. They are false advertising to get the sale. The website today 1st Sept 2021 is stating this exact fridge is available for delivery within 3 to 5 days which they know is not true. I have asked politely for a refund of the deposit paid without success.
Desired outcome: I want the fridge within a week or my full deposit back as the goods and service were not completed.
Bosch washer and dryer
We have recently purchased Bosch washer and dryer from Canadian Appliances. So far we have had three visits from the Delivery Team and the installation is still incomplete. In fact the installation has been so poorly done that using the machines present a significant risk to us and our child.
Delivery Team Visit 1: the Team came to our house and refused straightaway to install the machines, on the grounds that they did not have the necessary tools to do so. They were rude, agressive and verbally abusive towards us, so much so that I was scared of them and I escape to my neighbour.
Delivery Team Visit 2: the Team was friendly and accepted to install the machines. However, they did it very poorly. They did not connect the two machines and broke the stacking kit and failed to level the machines in a secure way. When I asked them whether I could use the machines after the installation, they replied "yes". When I asked them why bits of plastic were coming off the stacking kit, they replied "That's nothing". When I asked if the machines were levelled up correctly they replied: "yes".
Please note that we have a recording of Delivery Team Visit 2 which correcponds to the description I have given above.
Following the visit of Delivery Team Visit 2, I encountered the following issues:
1. When I used the dryer, it would not dry the clothes.
2. The machines were not levelled and were moving dangerously.
3. Bits of the stacking kit started to fall.
4. I realised after a few days that the water was collecting in a tank of the dryer rather than being drained directly into the washer as it should, and that the Team had in fact failed to connect the dryer's draining tube into the washer. Water started to pour out of the dryer until I realised this. I managed to locate the tank and empty it. I realised that the Team had failed to put the filter and rubber plug into the tank. which is why the water was pouring out.
This means that there was a significant risk of water pouring out casing permanent damage to the machine and risk for us being electrocuted.
Delivery Team Visit 3: The Team was friendly and competent and knowledgeable.
They noted that
1. stacking kit was broken and bits were missing and had not been installed, making the installation very dangerous (risk of machines falling on us).
2. hoses and tubes were not installed properly.
3. Plastic parts provided with the machines had not been installed properly.
4. It was dangerous to use the dryer.
They recommended: 1. that a new stacking kit be ordered and installed
2. that the two machines be completely re-installed.
In between these visits we called customer services numerous times and each time we had to negotiate with them in order for a new ticket to be issued. It is only after numerous attempts that they accepted to send someone in and this person (Delivery Team 3) confirmed what we had thought: that Delivery Team 2 had not a very poor job, that they did not have the skills to intall the machines, and that, as a result, they had endangered us.
Desired outcome: Speedy and safe installation
Electrolux Washer and Dryer
We bought an Electrolux washer and dryer combo from CAS late December 2020. Units were delivered and installed by CAS January 2021. We reported a leaking washer Jan 2021. Electrolux dispatched Transglobal Service to repair the unit. The repair was completed April 2021 (replaced the water intake valve). Following the repair during the first full wash using the repaired washer, there was a god awful squeal when the washer was in the final spin cycle. Called Electrolux and they suggested using Zoli Shwartz for the service call. Swartz came and discovered the dryer was vibrating ontop of the washer during the spin cycle which was creating the noise. Swartz pointed out that the dryer must have been dropped because the lower left/front corner had an outward bulge and the dryed was not sitting square on the washer. The stacking kit that had bee bought from CAS for the initial install was not being used because of the damaged dryer. Since May 2021 Electrolux has asked us to contact CAS for resolution, CAS has asked us to contact Transglobal for resolution and Transglobal has asked us to contact Electrolux for resolution. No one is resolving anything. We have completed the CAS return form but they now want us to contact Transglobal again. We paid CAS. We expect CAS to resolve this matter.
Desired outcome: Fix or replace the dryer while it is still under warranty.
Fridge
I bought a stove fridge and dishwasher august 2020, I got the stove and dishwasher January 2021 but to get them I also had to pay for all 3 items. I was promised delivery in February and got an email from the company asking me to remove my d fridge and clear snow for easy entry on the 25th.
I disconnected the plumbing and moved it to the garage only to get a call later in the day that it wouldn't be deliver until March 25th. I tried the salesman but just found out he's left the company. He had previously said we could swap for another make but the ones we chose all match and we don't want another make or brand. Today I received an email saying it would be arriving on the 28th of may 2021.
The service is brutal.
They should pick up the stove and dishwasher and fully refund me and let me buy somewhere else that doesn't mislead the buyer
Desired outcome: Full refund on all purchases
Whirlpool gas range delivered with dented handle
Hello,
I placed an order for a fridge and stove in early September of 2020. I was told at the time of purchase that both items would arrive within 5-6 weeks. Apparently due to Covid, many appliances were back-ordered.
After 2.5 months of having to constantly call CAS for updates, I finally got fed up and decided to cancel the order. I was encouraged to not do this, yet at the same time, was told my range would not be coming in anytime soon. My only choice was to pay double the original price I had paid to receive a range that CAS actually had in stock (or wait for a refund and start the process all over again at another store). I was not given any compensation for the poor service received up to that point. They would not even refund me the delivery fee. Finally nearly three months after the original order, the items arrive and the door handle on the range is dented. It was not covered in plastic as the fridge handles were. What did they do? Nothing. Even though the damage was likely done during the delivery process because they were not wrapped, I was told that I would have to deal with Whirlpool directly. I want to say that the delivery men who came did a fine job, and even if they caused the unintentional damage, they are not responsible. It is quite clear that CAS does not operate in a way that puts customer service first, because whether its misleading customers, not returning emails and calls, or providing items that are damaged, apparently that is par for the course and not even a gesture, like refunding my delivery fee is something they consider. I will never shop here again and will not recommend CAS.
By the way, I attempted to attach a pdf photo and the delivery invoice both of which were not able to attach. I am not sue why this site does not allow for attachments of files.

Extended warranty coverage for 5 kitchen appliances
I have purchased 5 kitchen appliances for 5 products in 2018 and the extended warranty for all 5 products for 4 years. When I checked online, I only saw 4 products displayed. After calling and sending email to [protected]@serviceplan.ca, they indicated that Canadian Appliance Source only send them the Bill of Lading with 4 products. However, on my Bill of Sale...
Read full review of Canadian Appliance Source25% product cancelation fee
On June 19th 2020, I purchased a fridge and extended warranty through an agent online using my credit card from Canadian Appliance Source website. The fridge was supposed to be delivered on June 13th, 2020.
Upon double checking the measurements and after a realization that the fridge would be too wide for my small kitchen, I called the company on June 11th to cancel the purchase.
The only way to cancel this purchase is to sign and e-mail a document that states you have to pay a cancellation fee in the amount of 25% of the full price of the item plus the price of the warranty plus the Canadian 13% tax. There was no loss on the company side. The fridge was in stock and and was never shipped.
I refused to sign such a document, crossed out the sentences that state that I agree to this and then signed. The scan of this document was then sent to the appropriate company e-mail.
They replied that I have to pay the 25% fee.
I will try to dispute this with my credit card company.
Today I called to speak with an agent regarding to cancel my order I placed may 16th.
Hello,
Under the current situations I expected some delays, when I placed the order, I was told the appliances would be most likely be in the wearhouse by May 19th and I would get a call the 20th for delivery. The 20th came around and no one called me, so I followed up. I was made aware that a new date of May 28th and the appliance would be delivered right away. May 28th came around and I had to follow-up again. I was told a new date of June 5th and by the following week should be contacted regarding shipping.
By this time, I lost faith your company actually knew what date I was going to get my appliances I already paid for, so I thought I would cancel and get it from another company who had the appliances currently in stock. This is when I found out in order to cancel, I had to print out a form and send it in, along with %25 restocking fee. At no time during my purchase on the phone was this ever explained to me. So clearly this upset me, not only that, I don't have a printer to print out and sign documents to cancel something I do not have yet.
Usually when someone oders an appliance, it's something that is needed. In my case, I needed to do laundry.
Maybe I'm just a little stressed out and on edge easily with everything going on, but I'm not happy with this company & I still don't have my appliance.
Thank You
Ken
Damaged goods, shady customer service reps
BUYER BEWARE
While the buying process was easy and fun, the delivery process is not. CAS outsources their delivery to another company. For my delivery, this company damaged my fridge, and when I called CAS, they told me they dint have another fridge, and they would have to order another one from the manufacturer and it could take 2-3 weeks. I can only assume this was some sleaze ball sales tactic to force me to buy another fridge because when I called them the next day, they said they had the appliance in stock and would ship it to me.
HOWEVER, they could only deliver it to me on weekdays when I'm at work.
You would think after screwing up a delivery, they would help me out by arranging a custom delivery time but apparently this was not possible.
I called them to see if they could help me out but their support staff could not arrange a time, but I could not speak to any managers over the phone because they wouldn't transfer me to a manager. Alas, I have no way to store food that needs refrigeration or freezing until the week's end. I have recordings of all my calls if any of you would wish to verify my claims.
dishwasher
Buyer Beware! I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Never buy from Canadian Appliance Source or your nightmares will begin. If you buy an appliance from these people and you have a problem after they deliver, you are on your own. I received a dishwasher from them (fully paid and paid for shipping). The dishwasher arrived and was dented and leaked as a result of the dent. CAS hung me out to dry. They took no ownership or responsibility for the unit. After numerous heated conversations with them they still would not help. They told me that I was on my own and that I had to deal with the manufacturer. It's been well over one month and I still don't have a functional dishwasher. Next time I will buy from a "big box" store. They will give you the CAS price plus an additional 10% off.
Refuse to exchange after they damaged the product
They installed the washer, gave me a blank BOL and left in a hurry before I had a chance to inspect. Washer was damaged and they refuse to exchange it. They said it was inspected and signed for, but when they produced the BOL, the signature was not mine. They still refuse to exchange. Do yourselves a favour and go to a place that they will treat you with respect after they get your money. Worst customer service ever. Avoid at all costs.
I am having a similar experience. My machine leaked from the start and they refused to return it. They sent someone to look at it. He identified a defective component and stated they don't carry spare parts and would have to order one and promptly left. We have not been told anything since then (four days ago).
