Difficult form of employment
They have threatened to fire me numerous times in the past, present, and probably future they are very insane in the head if they think they can hire someone of my caliber to do their pathetic excuse for a job again. They will also bully you at this job but don't let it. Now that probably won't happen if you're a manager. If you're a manager, they will force you to work 12 hr days with no break. There's also a strong smell of favoritism and the same day I got hired they hired an incompetent girl to work the registers. This individual openly insulted corporate and claimed to be working there to start their own business (probably lying) but long story short they got an attitude with me along with the shift leader by saying I need to work faster while the catfish was still cooking in the greaser. They along with the female shift leader not older than 30 insulted me and called me an a hole while the food was still cooking and saying it was cold. Then the incompetent nut claimed I was harassing her by asking for her number and told the general manager. The manager then wanted to talk to me 4 weeks after it happened he confronted me and tried me. That's what they do, set you up so you lose your job. They try me everyday here. I'm in fear of my safety and mental health dealing with such idiocy I can't fathom how they allow such crooks to work there in 2023. Also, there's a high turnover rate. Half the staff is not there anymore the female shift leader same age as me is not there anymore and I've only been there 2 months lmao. She threatened to quit in the middle of my shift and I had to work the drive through all by myself with no help and no training. That's what they'll do. You get no training and the food is constantly out of stock putting you and your coworkers at risk for complaints by the customers.
I'm only here because I couldn't get a job at Kroger got fired from there 4 days later because I didn't pass the background check. Captain Ds was a huge downgrade of a job. This job sucks why would I want to work here when I can work at construction and make double or go to a grocery store and earn the same amount, no grease, no rude customers, no incompetent managers, better hours, ect.
Also there is no loyalty amongst the coworkers. A gay dude was harassing me here and saying he wanted to date me because I'm young. The employees talk bad about each other and there's no trust here. It's fake af and this woman who worked here yelled at me with her boyfriend and made me feel unsafe working there. I'm probably gonna quit in two weeks
bad customer service
I went to Captain Ds 4-9-23 in Talladega Alabama and have never been treated so rude by the lady at the drive thru. I wanted to cry when I left. They were out of everything I ordered so I got somthing I did not want, they did not put sauce in my bag that i asked for and slammed the window after they gave me my food. I will not be going back anytime soon.
Cole Slaw
May 1st around 8pm, I went to Captain D's in Gun Barrel City, TX. My order was to go. When I got home, I ate my food and then when I started eating the Coleslaw I saw there was a big, long, very dark, hair in the coleslaw. Today about 5 pm I went back to Captain D's and told a woman about it and a woman, named Ashley, called me an idiot and said I can have more coleslaw. MORE COLESLAW? Why would I want MORE COLESLAW with hair in it? I had my receipt with me and Ashley took my receipt and would NOT give it back.
Desired outcome: Fire Ashley. She is ALWAYS rude and mean.

When I say this is the WORST CAPTAIN D’s experience that I have ever had in my life ! I came to this place on April 15, 2023 around 3:20ish and I came through the drive thru with my family… when I checked my food the first time, my broccoli was ice cold to touch. So I went back in there and asked nicely for a remake.. they did! I came back out side and started to eat my kids meal fish and broccoli and noticed the fish did not look right, like either been sitting long or wasn’t cooked…. Either way I wanted a return at this point. I went back in there and this only “white lady that was working in there with a blue shirt “manager or lead” approach me with the upmost disrespectful attitude and I was actually nice the whole time. She proceeded to say that I cannot return my item without a receipt. I told her that I literally just came through the drive-thru and I just want my money back at this point because the food does not look right. She said no she can’t without a receipt. I said ok, well I need a district manager number. She said I got another manager here I can talk to (that wasn’t what I asked for) that manager came up short older very small lady (actually sweet because she helped me the first time) she was trying to get things rolling with my return. Something happen with her going to the back and back up to me but another very sweet lady with dreads and a guy with a orange shirt came And up and helped me get my money back (which I got now) however I am sending in this complaint for the white lady and the black lady that was working the drive thru around this time (which she was a black lady mid-age heavy set) they both were very rude and I want something done about that. Maybe both should work in the back and not with customers. The black lady was actually talking very bad about another person that was in the drive thru.. VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND DISAPPOINTING… this area has to do better…

I was at Captain D's in sylacauga al yesterday with my family for Easter and it was lunch time they were not busy at all but my complaint is about a manager black lady with short hair red and black well all we heard while we wass w eating was nothing but cussing the n word the f word and the food was great the service was great other than that my kids had to hear all that cussing from that manager who was on her phone she had pink headphones in so I don't feel it's right coming to a restaurant and have to hear all that. And to be disrespectful on her phone

Place an online order when I showed up still had to wait over 40 min just to be told they haven't started my order so i complained that they serving others before me so the cook can out and argued with me I told him to go make my order he then told me well now you have to cancel online and to leave also other staffers we're arguing with me and laffed at me

This is crazy got 4 meals with 4 teas and it was 73 dollars and change! What the hell. We asked if they came with the drinks they said no. Today March 25, about 6:30 pm, I went to Captain D's on 3911 Victory Boulevard Portsmouth Virginia to the drive thru. I was at the drive thur intercom about 5 to 7 minutes and no one came on. I said hello, and asked if the intercom was working. Some one came, on and it was very static. Then I heard the person tell me to come to the window. I had not placed my order so I proceeded to the window. ( thinking that the intercom system must be down), and I have to place my order at the window. Well I waited in line for about 15 to 20 minutes before I finally get to the window. I drive up and the girl at the window get ready to hand me a drink. I reply and tell her I have not placed my order yet. She then tells me that she cannot take orders at the window. I told her you told me back at the intercom to come to the window. She says she is sorry and I could not order at the window. She apparently thought it was funny. I did not see any thing funny about this. She apologized and told me I could come inside and place my order. I was upset then. I feel like she was not paying attention to what she was doing and it was not good customer service.
I do not plan to visit Captain D's in the future. I will not recommend it to friends or family. She should have made the exception for the customer. She did not realize she did not take my order until I told her. I had waited quit a while and that was enough.
Desired outcome: I would like for you to speak to the young lady that was working the drive thru today and she should pay close attention to details when she is working the drive thru. She need more customer skills.
Pay and management
My daughter started working almost a month ago and hasn’t been paid. No one has researched or gotten back with her. The GM Kelly is extremely rude to her staff and curses them out. Mainly because they are minors and the parents aren't allowed to speak to managment. My other child was told that she's almost grown(which she is not). My child has also been asked to work while off of the clock and told that her time will be manually put in on another day. All types of laws are being broken. I need answers because Kelly's boss doesn't care and only supports Kelly.
Desired outcome: For my daughter to be paid and the staff to be treated fairly. And for laws to not be broken.

SHE GOT TWO LOBSTER ROLLS. I myself wanted three of the lobster rolls that were on the picture front door. We felt good with all till got home. Sat down at table and I wanted to scream a word I do not say! In stead called the store!
Some woman said she was the manager and filled our orders and we got what we ordered In one of the worse tone ever. There was a white manager and black manager well we had the black manager on phone.
There was suppose to be three rolls inside something. What ever she said in something did not have. Must have talked about someone Elsa order.
For sure she will let people at her store how we were treated by a manager.
She, s worked there 19 years and I retired from Kroger will be glad to pass it on to all our friends. Hope you get better and more training for managers

My Catfish plates (23.98) was not as advertise like menu, the 3 piece plates were 3 very small catfish (almost like 1 hole fish cut into 3 piece) and the 2 sides was small portion as well..
