Customer service
At 2pm, my app wouldn't work and I was locked out of my account. I deleted the app, restarted my phone. Basically did anything and everything to troubleshoot before contacting customer service. I was stranded and couldn't book a taxi. When I contacted customer service they took hours to respond and waiting until 10:30pm when I was sleeping to call me. There was no option to call them back and they marked the issue as resolved. This experience was so impersonal. Careem doesn't care about their customers at all. I pay for their "premium service" btw. What a joke.
Desired outcome: Fix your customer service and allow customers to be given the option to call customer care so their issues can be resolved

I ordered food from mc donalds through careem,the guy came, i gave him 100 aed supposed to give me back 75 aed,as usual madam i dont have change,i will go down grocery and bring back yor refund,that was it,he never csme back,is this how careem works?

Careem Monthly Subscription
I have been using careem uae subscription plus since an year. 19 AED will be deducted on my credit card. As usual it is deducted on 3rd april however, subscription not yet active. I've been following up from 10 days yet no action has been taken.
Desired outcome: Please refund or reactivate asap
Charged for 1 KD - though the driver asked me to cancel
Today at 2:00 I requested a taxi to (English School Fahaheel). The taxi driver contacted me saying that it would him long time to come and advised me to cancel. I did canceled the trip. My bank card was charged for 1 KD on that cancelled trip.

Experience being robbed by careem!
I made a return trip booking with Careem. My destination is from Business Bay Double Tree by Hilton to Salah Al Din. I've been charged double the fare of my outbound trip. First they hold AED 161.07 on my credit card, the only reason is to check the payment method. I've been a user of Careem since 2018. And never had I failed with the payments. So this holding of amount on credit cards is unreasonable.
As for the double fare for my trip, as you can see on the screenshot my outbound trip is just AED 79.9, and Careem charged me AED 155.66 for the return trip. Same distance and same type of car. the booking was done 3:59PM its not even considered at peak time at Dubai. .
Clearly its broad daylight robbery.
Desired outcome: I need careem to return the fare they overcharged me!

Paid charge for a ride twice
On Tuesday March 8, I paid twice for one ride:
Once from my Careem wallet (KD) ,
and from my bank as well (KD).
I also wrote three messages using Careem app and I did not receive a single response.

Rider fighting with security
One of your bike rider bearing the bike plate number Dubai 1-72290 came for delivery at Damac maison bays edge, the security informed him that bike parking is not allowed within the tower, at the same time directing on where to park, but this bike delivery guy blatantly refused, he left his bike and went in for delivery, the security guard took his helmet and when he returned, he forcefully broke into the Security control room, to struggle with the security.
Desired outcome: I want that guy disciplined

Cheating by the Careem Captain
I booked the careem yesterday night at 8.22 pm. Go N Blue wagon NG NUMBER AlE 018 was sent. Total fare worked out was PKR 592.00 having credit balance of PKR 215.00. I was to pay PKR 377.00.
I paid PKR 1000 to the captain with the request to credit the balance amount, (PKR 623.00) to my wallet which was not done by the relevant captain.
The complaint was lodged on careem app but they didn't resolved my complaint.

I want to lock my complaint against the "Captian Mateen Ijaz" Contact Number +[protected]. The captain picks up the order from the location and starts his journey toward his destination. The distance from Firdous Park to Residence 15 is almost 10km which we cover in maximum 15 minutes, but unfortunately, the captain takes more than 1 hour to deliver my order. Captian drives on unnecessary roads and on asking he was arguing about his wrong act.
Please look into this matter and refund unnecessary deductions. and take strict action against the captain as such captain make our experience more than worse with the company.

Careem ride failed to show up after accepting it but still charged the customer
On Dec 6, 2021 @ 18:41 I requested Careen near Family Hospital, Mozang, Lahore to Model Town, Lahore.
I spoke to Captain who confirmed to pick up in few minutes, transaction id 5Y87C7OF-35C8-433A. But when he failed to show up and stopped answering his mob, after one hour of waiting, at 19:47 I called another ride.
The first captain not only caused extreme aggravation but then fraudulently charged me Rs. 228 for cancelling the ride.
Its perplexing that Careem first wasted more than an hour of valuable time and then had the audacity to charge me. This Captain must be severely reprimanded for his irresponsible and unprofessional conduct and then unscrupulously charging the customer.
Desired outcome: Reimburse the wrongly charged Rs.228 and the captain services should be terminated.
This is happening too often that Careem ride fail to show up but customer is still charged for it.
"Payment charged without the ride"
Today I booked a cab in the afternoon in Oud Metha around 2:16 pm. When I came down around 2:22pm, I did not find the Taxi. It was a yellow roof cab and the number is 10157. This was the message I had received. I checked both sides of the area and then I called the taxi, the number provided was [protected]. He said wrong number and cut the call and cancelled the ride after my call. I am charged for the ride but there was no cab. I want refund of the ride which I did not avail.

Careem Customer support sucks in Pakistan sleazy and thieves
They sent me a wrong order. When their rider arrived I called their customer service right away to inform that restaurant sent me the things that I didn't order and didn't send what I had ordered. Their agent told me to keep the order and take pictures of it and send to Careem and they will refund my amount as they cannot return it. So I did as I was told. Later they didn't refund and when I contacted them they very rudely told me that we cannot refund my money and their customer service never told me to keep the order. Wow how sleazy they are and can stoop to this low level.
