We stopped to the Carl's Jr. in Quartzsite AZ. We waited at the order speaker for at least 5 minutes after we were asked to wait a minute by employee working the drive thru window. There was no one in front of us either. My fiancée finally said we were ready to order and the guy answered like he forgot we were even there. We placed our order and waited 15 minutes to receive our food. After 10 minutes of waiting we seriously considered driving off and going to Burger King not caring we had already paid for our food. We drove off and discovered we received a criss cut fry and a regular fry when we ordered both criss cut. Then we get down the road and discover my fiancée's California classic was made with 2 bottom buns. We were already irritated and we certainly weren't going to wait another 20 minutes for them to fix our order. This was the worst experience I have ever had!

I went to the Carl's Jr. in Yuma, Arizona on 16th street and it was absolutely disgusting in the sense that the lobby was filthy. The floor was black and there were flies everywhere. Asked two separate times for them to wipe the table down and both times the gentlemen walked slowly over to the table and didn't even wipe it down completely. The kids area was a nightmare. Food was all over the floor and again the table were filthy. Looked like the area hadn't been mopped in days. The actual play area had stains all over it. Truly unpleasant experience. It was not that busy as well. Caught employees laughing a couple of times while standing around. Wouldn't come back.

I ordered on Friday, June 23rd and I asked for a big cheese burger with lettuce dry as it printed on my receipt and received condiments on it! I called the covina office store 7393 in 573 N. Azusa Ave., Covina, Ca 91722, but no answer, no voice mail message and just beeped. Very upset and disappointed. My order was #0254 by 00017/Claudia. There were no other cars before me because I ordered drive thru and little business at that time.
#11 filet chicken sandwich
Just picked up food from Carl's Jr. only to realize when I took a bite it was barely cooked. The chunks of gristle in the sandwich were hard. I could not even take one bite before I threw it away. Overally some of the worst service I have ever had from a fast food chain. Learn how to cook your food to be compliant with the Health Department. DO NOT EAT HERE.
I called to arrange a next day pickup of an order at 6:00 am which was not ready
I called 6/19 to have an order ready at 6/20 6:00 am. I did not know they only open at 6:00 am as I have done the same pickup for 6 months, 2 days a month only at 6:10 am when the order (with the exception of one morning) was ready. The person taking my order speaks English as a second language and had trouble understanding the request and relaying it back to me but we did eventually come to an understanding and she agreed 6:00 am.
This morning 6/20 at 6:00 am the door was still locked, lights off and people opening up. They let me in and said they just learned of the order this morning and it would be 20 minutes before they were ready. I was very upset as I have nearly a 1/2 drive to work and needed to be on site before the rescue team started training. I did decide to wait for the biscuits as it was too late to back track to get donuts.
When the price was rung up I was already stressed and I am sorry to say gave them a hard time about the amount. I knew the price had changed but had not expected a bill double of what I usually paid. I unfairly gave them a hard time about the price and feel bad about that part of the exchange and would really like to let them know that part of our exchange was unfair and ugly on my part.
The part of my experience that concerned me was that they agreed to make a significant order available at 6:00 am and were not ready until 6:20 which put me nearly late for the crew I intended to feed. While I was waiting for the order a gentleman came and wanted biscuits and gravy and he left without purchasing food as they said they did not have gravy.
The whole story boils down to this: They open at 6:00 am but are not ready to serve at 6:00 am. In addition, I took the time to call the order in the day before with agreement from them that it would be ready and the message was not passed on. This happened on other time (though that timing was not as important as this time).
I am sorry to say I will not be counting on Carl's Jr. In Riverdale for breakfast items for the rescue team in the future as I now have no confidence they will follow through.

I ordered a double western bacon cheese burger and criss cuts and received a famous star and regular fries. Asked for ketchup and was handed 2 asked for a hand full and got 2 more and she shook her head out of anger. She was yelling at another employee named Richard the whole time. When I called to complain I had to call 3x before anyone answered . Very poor service. Very rude customer service

Asked for a famous star with NO cheese at drive-thru. the window said $4.21. The guy handed me no receipt, so I don't know how much i got charged on my credit card. The burger was TOO COLD and had two extra meat patties with a bunch of cheese that was sticking to the patties. I am lactose intolerant, so i had to throw the burger away in anger. Didn't have any strength to go back and complain to the cashier cause it was late. I want my money back, nevermind the bad service. All i want is the refund. And I'm not going back there.

I went through the drive through window, at Carl's Jr. Restaurant, 5105 W. Thunderbird Rd, Glendale, Arizona 85306 around 1:30 p. m. on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 (today) and had a coupon for buying one Famous Star with cheese, get one free. When I got to the window to pay, the female said it is "6.60" and I asked if that was for the single patty Famous Star, and she said "they all have 2 patties." When the food came, I thanked her, but she never acknowledged me. Very rude, if she hates customers that much, she needs to get a different line of work! I knew she was lying because I used a similar coupon at Carl's Jr. in the past and had no issues at all. So, I went home and looked on the website and found the Famous Star with cheese is a single patty, not the double like she said. The super star has a double patty but my coupon said a Famous Star. I wasted my gas and drove back to the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. The manager was also rude and acted as if I was the one lying. The dumb drive through female lied once again, and got a different coupon from somewhere, it looked like underneath the cash register at the drive through, for the super star and lied and said that is the coupon that I used, and it was not, because I made sure which coupon I had well before I went to the drive through. I asked for a refund for the difference and the rude manager rolled her eyes, and said "no, the coupon said it is a super star and that is what you got" After her arguing with me, she finally refunded my money. I will never go to this Carl's Jr. restaurant again, even though I live less than a mile from there. They barely know English and on top of that, have an attitude? Truly lousy customer service.

this is only the second time I've visited your restaurant since this location at 125 El Dorado Blvd Webster Texas 77598 has opened and it will indeed be the last. Our food was very cold and improperly prepared with ingredients we specifically asked not to have included in our meal. No wonder you're establishment will not last for much longer ...is that not why your company purchased Panera...to have a leg to stand on? You're company is a joke along with it's owners, employees, corporate [censor] who don't care about the product they serve. I hope you [censor] get what's coming to you in the years to come. [censor] you and your "ESTABLISHMENT" The BBB will hear of this complaint as well. Suck it easy [censor]
horrible customer service
I have submitted to complaints regarding service at two different locations of Carl's Jr that are within a 3-4 mile radius of my home... missing food, closing restaurant before actual close hours. I have sent both complaints to Corporate Office and have never gotten a response back. Just not a good way to business. How can one restaurant forget your food go back and complaint then send you back home with no burger on patty? and then I got to the second restaurant a month later and go through drive thru, and then tell me the its close because they are cleaning their grill, really on Thursday night at 8:30pm. I sent my complaints in after trying to call each restaurant when I got no answer. I have not even heard back from corporate, you would at least think I would get a response.

I went to Carl's Jr at 6031 N. Mesa El Paso, TX. On June 2, 2017.
The young kid at the register says my cards have been refused. They were not refused. He and others do not know how to use the machine. The machine worked for the next customer. I paid in cash. Went back up to register and forced them to get some one else to run another item through. Of course my card worked. (I personally believe he did it on purpose. Belief and proof. Two different things.)
I watched them do the same to other people. Told one of them. Your card is good. They do not know how to use the machine. Go across the street. Buy anything. It will work. Not to worry. So. At least two of the employees were telling the customers that their credit cards were no good. For sure with me.
I asked for the store manager. Made sure other employees heard me. Waited over 15 minutes. She is to busy to see you. That is what I was told. You have to wait.
If I had seen the manager. I would have let her know what was going down.
I have been there multiple times. Some of the employees extraordinary nice.
However, twice. Carl's Jr. has been realy realy horrible. Let me prove it. Google- Carl Jr North Mesa El Paso. It shows it at the Coronado Barber Shop. No such thing. Building stands by itself. In a shopping center. On a corner.
Some of the employees could make that store the best.
The other times. Guaranteed. They will destroy that store and the others stores. By association.
So for those mad at Carl's Jr. Be comforted. With time, one store for sure will destroy itself.
As for me. I am mad. There are people I realy like there. I do not want to see what is sure to pass.

Spent over $ 50 at your establishment and found a black hair wrapped around a fry . The worst thing about it is, it was in the middle of the fries, so I had already eaten a lot before finding the hair. Is it not standard practice for hair to be tucked away or use a hair net? People work hard for their money, and I needed up having to throw away the food because I was so disgusted.
bad service/pricing/food poisoning
Today we visited CJ in Florence, CO. No one was in line but it still took over 20 minutes to get our order. Cashier Kyle didn't get my #3 combo I ordered, just a Western and medium drink. He told me he would get my fries but I was there another 25 minutes and it never happened !
On top of that I got food poisoning, worst experience ever !

Store#758 needs to be on undercover boss, food is wrong and customer service is out the window. Nobody smiles or listens correctly. Just because restaurant is located in ghetto doesn't mean service and food needs to be. I asked a lady working for some extra sauces for our fried zucchini which tasted like bland flour. The cheese on our hamburgers wasn't even melted. Plenty of people wanting to take our order but space cadet what customers ask for. Tables and booths look nasty. And there's always plenty of flies to piss you off while trying to eat inside the restaurant. Just because location is on eastern and Charleston, doesn't mean entire restaurant and staff should act ghetto. Every time we eat there we get sick. Months go by and nothing ever changes.
false advertising baby back rib sandwich

I saw the commercial on television, thought that looks good! So I made it a point to go out of my way to get to a Carls Jr's specifically to order the Baby Back Rib Burger.
$ 12 dollars later I'm at home and open the package up to eat. Not only are there no pickles or onions, the piece of rib on the sandwich is barley 3 inches square, and about 1/2 inch thick, if that. If I hadn't taken the sandwich apart looking for it, I wouldn't have even known it was on there. NOTHING like the pictures on the menu or T.V. advertisements. Very disappointed!
The actual sandwich is woefully lacking when compared to the advertisement below.

Pulled up to drive thru at 11:43 a.m. at the 12th street Carl's Jr. In Ogden, UT, placed my order of one single baby back rib burger, a small fry and small coke. It took till 12:08 to get my food and then they never gave me my drink. I get home and open up the burger and there is a 2 inch piece of rib on there. That is not what you advertise! So in order to get what I paid for I have to get back in my car and go wait in line again just for them to make it right. Now why should I have to make a separate trip and then waste more of my time standing in line. I am so disappointed, my family and I usually go every weekend and spend $20 or more every visit. Since this is the second time this has happened, I think we might stop going to Carl's Jr. And find a new place to eat. I hope you at least make the managers aware of the problem and get it fixed or u might lose more than just me and my family as customers.

I am writing this email in regard to my visit this afternoon to your restaurant. The store that I patronized was store #7516 at 6301 East Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona, 85715. I was in the drive though at 2:11 PM 5/22/2017 and my ticket number was 0157. I am writing to you so you will be aware of the atrocious service that I received today. I was absolutely shocked by the behavior of your manger, Jose. Not only was his attitude toward my mother and I dismissive and rude, our food was ill prepared, cold, old and some was still frozen and freezer burned.
The young lady that initially took our order was pleasant and she was very helpful. We pulled up to the window, and the young man that greeted us was almost hostile. He sneered at me and acted like he didn't want to even touch my money, which caused the change to fall on the ground of the driveway. We are a clean middle class pair of ladies. I had come from work at my salon and my mother had come from bingo at the senior center. He treated us as though we were vagrants. There was no real verbal exchange, so his hostility baffled me. He then handed me my mother's drink, which had the lid half off and almost dumped the whole drink on the side of my mother's car (which I was driving). He wasn't even looking to make sure i had the drink in my hand. When I pointed out the lid was off and he was spilling the drink on me, he got angry and shoved it in my hand, getting soda all over my hand and my Apple Watch. He slammed the drive through window and when he returned, he shoved my order at me almost tossing it.
Now, I'll get to the food. I got the Famous Star with cheese. The burger patty was cold and very old. It was evident that it had been sitting for longer than it was supposed to and was thrown together and very messy. My mother's fish sandwich was still frozen in the middle and our fries were freezer burned. This was just adding insult to injury. I called when I got home to complain about the whole terrible experience and that's when I found out that the person that gave me the worst service I've ever experienced in recent memory, was in fact, the manager. He did apologize. He did acknowledge his bad behavior and offered me a replacement meal, which I declined. However, it was too little to late with all of the variables of the afore mentioned situation. I will NOT be returning to this location. I would like a refund but after this experience, I will not go out of my way to make any journey to this establishment. Its ten bucks, I'll take the loss. I wrote this email to let someone know about this awful experience. I"m not someone to complain but with the egregious behavior of your manager and the terrible quality of the food I was given, I felt that it was important to let you know.

the new baby back rib hamburger.
I received a coupon in the mail. I ordered a baby back rib hamburger combo small. The girl asked me if I would like to have the half pound burger. I said sure why not. The bill came to $11.51. I was appalled. I asked if I would have not had the coupon that's what the bill would have been? She said yes pretty much. When I got home I opened the sandwich and there was only a small patch approximately one and a half inches Square on top of the burger of rib meat that could not even be seen when I opened the box. This sandwich looked nothing like the picture on the coupon or on the menu board. This was like a major bait and switch in my eyes. The price for the one third burger if memory serves me correct in a meal form was $7.49 so in my estimation I am paying $4 for two more ounces of hamburger. I believe you're losing me as a customer.
Biggest case of food fraud I've seen in a long time. We also got the burgers with next to zero "rib meat", no pickles and no onion strips. Had to dip the dry burger in ketchup in order to eat it. Will no longer go to Carl's. Pictures attached are what we got versus what Carl's advertises.
