service and food
Went to Tallahassee Carrabbas on my birthday Monday night 23rd.
Was with my son and two adult sons. Usually love Carrabbas, but something was really off that night. Know you want to know.
My son's scallops tasted fishy and undercooked. When he asked for a speciality coffee, it never came. When He asked the server to bring it, the server went off then came back and said he couldn't make the machine work.
My order at first was messed up, which can happen, but when I asked for the correct pasta dish, it came with about 2 Tablespoons of sauce. My ceasar salad had no dressing on it. Originally, I had asked for anchovies to be added. Out came a cup of anchovies instead of a few being sprinkled on top. Who wants a cup of anchovies?
Kept trying to get the server's attention to get some Parmesan sprinkled on top of the salad. Could not. Finally my son got up and got the grater and did it himself.
The picture had shown trout covered in nuts, . Mine had almost no nuts on it and instead of tasting grilled, it tasted steamed with little flavor.
Usually superb things happen at Carrabbas, but man it was not a good birthday meal. None of us was happy about the experience.
Sorry to complain, but if I was management, I would definitely want to know.
Yesterday, I overheard someone say, "We use to go to Carrabbas, but the food is not what it use to be. This person didn't know of what I had experienced on Monday.
Again, I am sorry to tell you, but this was just too much.
slow service
Atlanta airport location ATLCAS01
I stopped here on 6/26/17 about 10:30 AM, and there were three people in this place besides myself. I stopped at the hostess stand and the waitress was standing there on her phone. I was seated and then waited over 5 minutes (probably for the waitress to get done texting) to place my drink order. Another 10 minutes later, I finally got my drink and I explained that I was in a hurry and asked if I could place my food order right away. I was told that there were others there before me and those orders had to be taken first.
15 minutes later I finally got my food and had to wolf it down.
Now you would think that since I'd already told the server that I was in a hurry, she would bring me my check right away. Nope. She disappeared. I had to ask for the check when she finally got back about 10 minutes later.
Just poor service and this is not the first time it's happened there. I'll only stop there again if I happen to be stuck in the Atlanta airport for hours since there is no way to get anything quickly there.
very small portions
Carrabbas food is really great and I really love this place. Recently me and my friends went to Carrabbas to celebrate my birthday and we were very disappointed. When I invited my friends I told them that there were really large portions and everything was super delicious. But when we arrived and saw our meals we were so frustrated, because portions were extremely small and in the end I wasted more money than I expected. I had to order more meals!
I agree completely!
service
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with angel hair pasta, a simple dish. I received my order and saw that the spaghetti had very little sauce. I asked for more sauce from my server "Darryl", and after 20 minutes he said that he had words with the kitchen about the sauce. The sauce he brought me at best was about three tablespoons full. I commented to "Darryl" that it wasn't much more than a thimball full. He responded he battled with the kitchen for what he brought and never brought anymore sauce. So I ate dry spaghetti. The worse experience I've ever had and I frequent, Bonefish, Carrabba's, and Outback. I would Like a refund for that particular meal. The transaction number on the receipt is #016184, $42.42. worst service ever.. long wait times, seated others before us, rude service, spray chemicals on people
Me and a date went to carrabbas on a saturday night which was some form of a horrible nightmare...first off, the wait times were ridiculous. We were told it was a 35 minute wait, however, after 35 minutes they told us it would be another 20 minutes-- really they can't even figure out HOW long their stupid wait times are? that should have been a sign to leave...then, we waited about 55 minutes, and a party had walked in 5 minutes prior...you can imagine our surprise when the party that had waited just about 5-10 minutes was seated RIGHT BEFORE US...i mean really? we had horribly waited an HOUR and a table of FOUR came in waited 5-10 minutes and they seated them BEFORE US? even if it was CALL AHEAD SEATING that is just SO WRONG to make one party of TWO wait over an HOUR and a party that just walks in give them PRIORITY...it wasn't right at all. From the beginning i could tell we were being discriminated against, mostly because we weren't elaborately dressed or part of some large family like most of the idiotic customers there. The carrabbas staff was obviously just being rude discriminatory etc...
when we were FINALLY seated after being screwed over basically, they gave us the WORST TABLE IN THE PLACE...it was right SMACK in front of the kitchen, noisy, loud ridiculous. I said something to the idiot seating us--ie some rude bimbo and told her about the situation..she gave an excuse as to...she didnt knwo why they were seated before us. We also asked the rude bimbo [censored] if we could have a booth since this table was so loud and she said sure but we'd have to go back to the front and wait again...really? after waiting an HOUR and being discriminated against...ok no thanks...we said it was ok. Finally, the waiter came and rudely took our orders---the thing is they werent friendly or welcoming...the people there were treating us liek we were 2nd class citizens or something probably the way black people were treated in the 40's...they were rude suspicious weird discriminating... the waiter got us our drinks and we realized, it was impossible to sit at that table-- with the noise it was giving us a headache. My date went to tell the idiot rude bimbo that we would like a booth-- she said ok... however, we still waited and no one came to us-- i told him he should tell her again because i doubt she was going to do anything right or even care---so he went again to tell her- the idiot bimbo said ok sure she had one saved for us. We then told her, we wanted a specific booth that had just been cleared off...and as we went to the booth-- the other idiot was seating other customers there---that was nice. She then told us she had saved ANOTHER booth for us-- oh and guess where the booth was located---RIGHT near the noisy table and cooking area and OPEN kitchen...the place we DIDNT want...but we had no choice at this point and had to sit there... it was beyond NOISY and a nightmare and the rest of our experience was as well.
so now we're sitting in the noisiest area AGAIN...just it being a booth. another server came to us however while I was walking to the booth-- our last server then callously sprayed CHEMICALS on the table the MOMENT i walked by...and he was looking at me and of course chemicals splashed onto me-- NICE! so now we've been discriminated against, waited too long, other people seated before us, got a bad table, lost the booth we wanted, are being seated at another noisy table adn then some a**hole stupid server at carrabbas decides to spray CHEMICALS all over a chemically sensitive customer...that was nice again..so now I have spray all over me or had splashed because some insensitive ### doesnt care about people walking by. Then, our new server came, many minutes later, she was a pompous rude [censored], of course we expected nothing less as everyone else there had been really arrogant stuck up rude...not friendly at all, and acting as if they aer better...for some odd reason...many people were also giving us strange stares or servers were and just acting rude or unfriendly. She acted almost scared and just rude and weird. I asked to speak to a manager...and then a manager came...and told him abotu the wait time situation, the booth situation AND the chemical situation...he seemed to not be phased or really care... he just said he agreed because I repeated myself several times...and then asked if we wanted an appetizer...oh ok surre...of course...we'll take SOME compensation for this hell we're going through...which was a lame little appetizer and didnt even make UP for the hell we had to go through... he said sorry but it definitely wasnt sincere at all and you could tell ALL the people working there were just pompous rude arrogant people...
so then, we got our appetizers...they were served fine but our server was jsut rude and weird...even my date said she was jsut rude and interrupted us several tiems without saying excuse me, and once made a smart a** comment to sort of put me down...the worst part however was the CONSTANT noise...servers walked by and even POPPED bags loudly, made odd noises with their mouth, were SUPER SUPER noisy...for no reason...i can get the kitchen was noisy but people being noisy for NO reason was just uncalled for...also the table next to us was full of VERY NOISY customers...they finally left, and then the idiots had to put the tables together or away...that took them an unncessary 15-20 minutes to do...move the tables, clean them, move them again, clean them..move this that...it was CONSTANT CHAOS AND HELL...RIGHT NEXT TO US..we didnt get a MOMENT of peace...they kept working on this ONE table next to us-- nto sure why...then the idiots came out with brooms vacuums and kept vacuuming THAT AREA right next to us...ONLY that area mostly...NON STOP...so again NON-stop chaos...we had no peace...nothing..it was either bad service, noise chaos this that..i have NEVER had such a bad dining experience with SO MANY problems...also the people who served our food-- was RUDE...just RUDE people overall...server was just arrogant rude smart a** type attitude...carrabbas that particular one just treats some customers so badly...and it is a terrible place...discrimination on another level...i've never had such a BAD experience before or one with SO many different issues...my date was so upset he didnt even leave a tip and justifiably so...the service was horrible...we both agreed we will NEVER return to that place again... for how they treated us, made us feel, discrimination, spraying chemicals on people, lack of care...everything...awful place...beware...

I would have l left from the beginning... People like that will spit in your food...
Um the point of call ahead seating is not to spend the wait time at the restaurant--they called the restaurant and got an estimate of the wait time so that is why they were seated ahead of you--this complaint is bogus
"...chemically sensitive customer..."? You not jus chemically sensitive, you nuts!
I'm sure they saw ya coming and were well prepared.
horrible food
I've been eating at carrabba's for years, I always looked forward to going there. I had went to dinner with my friend, and I had asked for eggplant, which I aways eat there. Well, the waitress says to me, we have one left, not enough to make a plate. I thought wow is it premade or something? I ordered the chicken parm, the small plate cause thats what I always get. Well the chicken was so tough, and dry, it tasted nasty. The chicken was smaller then the palm of my hand. I was very upset and will not go there anymore. I was charged 16.50 I think for that dish. It was so dry and so grose that I packed it up took it home for my brother to try. (he loves carrabbas) he looked at it said what the hell is this? I said chicken parm, he was like wow, carrabbas served this? I said yes, it ended up going in the garbage. I live in brick, nj, carrabbas is always doing things to help the community, I never had an issue with the food that they do for events. However, this time, turned me off and it's sad because I enjoeyed eating there. I have never seen such a skimpy amount of food be served, and dried out as if it was sitting there and was reheated. euh

I've been eating at Carrabba's across the country since 1999, mainly in Maryland and Illinois. Over the past 2 years, Carrabba's has gotten really bad. Last night, April 09, 2016, we dined at the Carrabba's Ellicott City, Maryland location. I've always gotten the grilled chic ceasar salad. This time, the chicken breast was half the size of my palm, and slightly less than an inch thick, and very little lettuce. At $15 per salad, as my entre, I expect to at least have a plate full of lettuce. I've been noticing a trend toward smaller salad portions and increased prices. My partner ordered Chianti(sp) with her dish, which turned out to be sour and old. The restaurant replaced it with some from a fresh bottle. That worked! Another thing about wine at Carrabba's, they unashamedly routinely now serve less than a half of glass of wine per glass order at $7 - 9 per glass.
I understand that a business needs to increase prices from time-to-time, and I'm willing to pay that cost, but I don't want diminished food quantity, or quality. Carrabba's is lacking in both areas, especially with the introduction of their modified menu that started last year. Carrabba's has some of the best tasting salads in the country, but sadly, after more than 15 years of loyalty, I will not be going back.
Had carry out at westlake ohio steaks very very tough and Caesar dressing tasteless To bad please increase quality
Got my steak rare but broke two plastic knives and had to hunt a steel knife got to be a treat but it wasnt

I took all my family over there to the one on the carlisle pike in camphill pennsylvania. And the service was HORRIBLE. So bad the manager came over to try and calm the situation. He did and I suggested for the waitress to be FIRED. Also this is the second time we went there and NEVER again. I'll eat at ARBY'S before going there again. I work the 10, 000 employees throughout the state. And if they ask me about this place. It will be a thumbs down. I'll suggest them to go to Babriella's on Rout 22 in Lower Paxton Township. Well if this place keeps it up. The place I mentioned above will be raking in the CASH.
We were a group of five at your Waldorf, Maryland location and waited one hour when a group of six just walked in and was seated right away. I asked the girl at the front desk and I was told that she was seating the group of six first in a nasty tone. I asked for the manager and she refused, so I asked another employee to get the manager and he did. When the manager arrived his answer was that their was a misunderstanding our group has been to that location hundreds of times and we were not happy with the response of the manager. As of right now I dont think I will return to your establishment any time soon.
food and manager
I ate at the Grandville Carrabbas recently on a Saturday night, and was absolutely shocked with what happened.
My waiter was competent and even a bit funny. I enjoyed him a lot, but that was where the enjoyment ended.
I ordered an Italain Chicken Pizza with extra onions and extra sauce on it. About 15 minutes later, my pizza arrived looking like a football with no onions OR sauce on it.
In drawing it to my waiter's attention, he apologized profusely and said he would get me a new one.
As many of you may know, the kitchen of Carrabbas is completely visible to all, and I literally saw them simply add onions and glob sauce on it, and then put it back into the oven for a couple minutes.
When it returned to my table, it was now a burnt football with shriveled onions on it and sauce that was still cold.
I asked my server to see the manager. A middle aged man with wavy hair, a porn star mustache, and a very visible gold chain gleaming on a t-shirtless chest. He asked me what seemed to be the problem and I explained my order and why this was not satisfactory. He apologized and got me a brand new pizza made correctly this time, and fully comped our meal.
However, after he visited our table, he went up to the pizza cook and screamed at him about not coming to work high anymore, and then he yelled at the server about not getting him immediately after the first pizza was wrong. He did this right out in the open in front of all of the other customers who stared at him in shocked silence.
I will never return to the Grandville Carrabbas again, simply because I don't want to eat in an establishment that employs such an ill-tempered manager. I hope that our waiter finds better employment, because he didn't deserve to get yelled at the way that he did.

Terrible experience
My family and I waited for twenty minutes for a table on New Year's Day which was absolutely fabulous. Once we were seated was when everything went sour. The waiters and waitresses were buzzing around us serving all of the tables near us except ours and the table to our left because it empty and being cleared by the busboys. After waiting for 15 minutes for service, I inquired with one of the waiters as to who was our server. I was told that Erin would be with us soon. About 5 minutes passed and another family was seated at the table to our left and immediately Erin came out from the back to greet them and take their drink orders. I waited for another 5 minutes to speak to the manager, who didn't offer much assistant except to apologize and hand me his business card. This wasn't a pleasant evening out with my wife and two sons and I hope that anyone visiting Carrabas Restaurant in Bensalem, PA a better time out dining.

prison labor
Carrabba's is replacing trained cooks and managers with illegal aliens and prison laborers. In the second case, it isn't illegal, but with so many white collar criminals, couldn't one just replace upper management with the same personnel? To customers: who is cooking your food?
