I have requested a de-installation and reinstallation of my car track device and was charged over R 800 worth of fees which I did not mind paying and I was told I could make an arrangement to have the debit order run later this month. To my surprise the debit order was collected the debit order was collected on the 30th of September when I was not expecting it. I let it slide because I was liable to pay for it anyway. The dealership confirmed my car would be ready for collection on Wednesday the 2nd of October 2024 and I therefore arranged for car track to install the tracking device before collection. I was slassured installation will be done on the 2nd but upon following up I was told installation was not scheduled. I was also told that despite being up to date with my policy and having taken up the highest cover with successful debit order if I happen to claim before the tracking device is installed my claim will be declined. The dealership ended up delivering my car to my work place on 4th of October 2024 and to date car track has not come to the party. I have been on calls every day since the 2nd and have spent over R200 on airtime trying to get a tracking device on my car but I have not received the service that I have paid for. On Thursday I even tried laying a complaint on telephone and one of the consultants said she will handle my complaint and ended up transferring my call to someone she referred to as her supervisor who introduced herself as Bontle Mabaso. I requested her to give me a call back since I had already spent much on airtime and she told me she's only inbound. The call cut and I haven't received any commication to acknowledge my dissatisfaction with the service. I spoke to numerous consultants in different days who promised my tracking device will be installed on the same day of the call but every time they said that I felt more stupid because knew it will not happen. Sometimes during the calls I would hear them giggling as I explained how frustrating this journey has been. I had explained when I made arrangements for installation that they have until Friday the 4th of October at 12pm since the dealership will have to deliver my car from Johannesburg South to Pretoria but I guess they never cared since my debit order was already successfully collected.
