Bought this cell cash. Did not even have it four months, started giving trouble with front speaker. I took it in for repairs (Carletonville branch), on 4 November 2023 for repairs. Phone was sent away and I was told the phone will be in for repairs for a period of 21 Days.
When following up as for I received no call to collect the phone, I sent my wife to follow up for me as for I was unavailable on 18 November 2023, she was informed that it is not the branch fault if the phone is not delivered by the company on the 21 day repair time frame.
I am very dissatisfied with the service of this branch where commitments of 21 days on return of the product are not met, and head office is blamed. No attempt whatsoever from the branch to contact head office to follow up on the delivery date. I need this phone urgently as for there are recorded meetings on it to provide as evidence with fatal inquires with the DMRE (Inspectors of Mines), to present to them.
Customer care is supposed to be priority at any given company. If I don't receive any feedback on my quiry, I shall have to resort into brining this under the attention of the Ombudsman as well as "Hello Peter", where it comes to customer service and branch commitments to customers not executed as promised.
