Hi there i'm very disappointed by your response to my problem Cashbuild sold me a geyzer without warranty written any where told by mouth warranty is 5 years but service provider says warranty is 3 years there's no proof where warranty reflect(not on proof of payment no on the geyzer )Cashbuild blames service provider provider blames Cashbuild i'm requesting your helping hand. Maxi bricks
I signed up for a Cashbuild account at Dobson Ville Cashbuild in Soweto and I was assisted nicely by Daphne and my account was approved .I requested for 9000 maxi bricks and 100 bags of Cement .1.5 Maxi Bricks were delivered yesterday and 80 bags of Cement and I am not happy with the quality of bricks because they do not look the same as the bricks I saw at cash build .Bricks seem wet, Bricks are breaking on they own
Desired outcome: I want the bricks I signed up for ,considering that I will be paying almost R2000 a month for 3 years

We ordered material at cashbuild vosloorus (gold sport area), they told us that they will have to deliver immediately because of their suppliers.
3 weeks latter they haven't delivered roof tiles, we went again today - the service was so poor, we waited long to be assisted and when we got assisted by the gay named Tumelo, he gave us such an attitude as if we were not customers and told us that he can not promise our delivery today - there are people that came before us, same delivery that we waited for for 3 weeks.
Walking the floor for assistance there was no one to assist with prices and references.
I will never recommend this cashbuild to anyone
Delivery service and customer service
Lebo in Diepsloot Cashbuild assisted me over the phone in getting the qoute and I have indicated to him that the deal was urgent and needed the stock right away & will need to make an EFT payment cause couldn't make it to the store. He then said to me that the payment will take around 2 working days once it reflects on his side he will prepare the order.
The payment then reflected and Lebo now had other problems that I didn't expect given the fact that I have indicated to him that my order was urgent.
He told me that he had no enough stock for me, I said he must refund me cause I needed the work done urgently, he lied to me and said to me that it will take a week & he will ensure that I get my stock by the 20 Aug 2020 all complete.
It is 21 August 2020, my stock is not all completely delivered, I haven't heard from Lebo. I spoke to Mthokozi this morning 21 Aug 2020 at 9 but he managed to eventually sort me out at 11. thanks to anthologies Lack of communication from Lebo is bad and a problem and all staff so dis-organised. They cannot handle large order, they must stick to what they can cater and not take big order cause no sufficient stock available in the premises.
Racist staff
Today I visited the cashbuild in lenasia south to get some building supplies the only person available to assist did assist me but was extremely racist did not provide me with options even before I was finished doing the buying I needed to he handed my stuff over to the cashier and I had to wait for someone else to assist as he refused to help
Mams mall
I went to mams mall got excellent service from a gentleman name Lucky. He explained so that I understand and helped me get what I need.
The cashier that assisted was so unfriendly. She didn't have to say much but the tone that she spoke to me about was unpleasant. Please give her proper training and teach her how to treat customers.

Roofing tile
Cashbuild Polokwane Branch does not work with integrity, im so dissapointed
I called the store on the 17th july 2020 requesting quotation for roofing tiles, one of the consultant gave me a quotation for r31800 it was includive of r1500 delivery which I was happy with the quotation but because I stay bit far and couldnt make transfer. I then asked my sister to go buy just when she got there on the 19th july they said no price has changed its r34000 just within 48hours.. I asked how would the price increased they said a consultant who gave me quotation doesnt know how it works I mean how possible? They changed delivery to r1800 and tile to r32000.. How possible is that?
I would really make sure customers play aware from such dishones store

On Friday I went to buy pavers in tsakane mall, I needed to buy 8000 pavers in 2 different colours so it was supposed to be 4000 per colour so da lady who was helping so one of the colour was not enough to cover 4000 so she said will add more on the tan colour to 8000 pavers. I went pay I left, when the first delivery came it was 8 pallets but de second one was 6 an half so I was confused and I didn't have da slip with cause dey were using for delivery purposes so I called da store and spoke to RUDE Gloria I asked her so nicely dat she checks for me what happened where was da mistake, did I pay for what I received or what BUT no she was not interested in what I was saying but she promised to get back to me which she didn't, what pisses me off is dat I went to cash build this morning to but Namaqua bricks she saw me she didn't even bother to explain let alone greet she just looked at me and pass. This is not the first time she gives me bad attitude 2 years ago I was building my house and all my material I bought it from tsakane mall I spent more dan R100000 buying de but her attitude stinks I am very angry im a paying customer I spend a lot of cash I don't deserve to be treated like rubbish if we don't buy they will loose their jobs but her arrogance is sickening

On the 9th of December I sent my brother to make a purchase at Mothibistad cashbuild swiped my caard for payment entered the pin. Just after entering the pin the electricity went off but the transaction already went off. At the store they said they could not give me the goods I purchased since the till slip was not out due to electricity problem even though we showed the message on the phone that the transaction did go through. The following morning I went back to cashbuild asking for assistance the lady who was attended us called the head office to enquire about the transaction and it was confirmed that the transaction did go through but still I could not be assisted I was told to go get the bank statement and will on ly be assisted the next day. I tried to explain to the manager in charge that the material paid for is for the roof and may experience damages due to rain since the roof is open and the material is needed to close it up but he said there is no way they can assist me. I am very dissapointed and never expected this kind of service from cashbuild. If I had more money I would make another purchase while waiting for the matter to be resolved but I don't. I'm very dissapointed and hurt.

I was the contrator at Cashbuild Uitenhage, Im no longer there due to the manager(Dries) racism.He even with hold my money back last month I only got it onFriday(4/10/19) He told me there is damaged stock I had to pay for but never gave me a list of the goods. When he made the invoice he on hes own subtract the money and never gave me my stock, he told hes DM(Conrad) he sold it, the DM said he must make out a invoice for my money back but now when I phne him hes rude and have a attitude and put down the phone in my ear.Im so sick and tired of hes rude and rasicm manners. timbers for roofing
I G.T.S. Monnagaratoe bought timbers from cashbuild Mafikeng in 2017 and specifically paid for timbers that are SABS approved. To my surprised cashbuild deliverd timbers stamped YORK SATAS; i immediately called the manager Mr Sikhosana and quieried the quality of those timbers delivered to my place. He assured me that those timbers are in good condolition and they are SABS approved. But now as we speak timbers are breaking and have black fingd on them fue to poor quality. I was robbed by cashbuild and i guess its the fact that i am a woman. A month ago u went to the shop to report the matter and Andy just said to me no its because carbolene was never applied to the timbers which is an insult also because the timbers used ro build my grandma's house were from cashbuild and werr bought 32 years ago and are still in good condition

I went to check on my account and was told by a lady that I needed to change my account to a card and transfer the funds. She showed me to go to another person to assist. I went and found a man who was not bothered by a customer standing in front of him...the first lady who assisted me called him from where she was and told him that he needed to assist. Without taking his eyes off his phone he pointed to the tills. To which the other lady told him that I needed a card first and he didn't respond. He continued with whatever he was doing on his phone.
He ignored me while I was in front of him. I walked out. I need to close my account and move from cashbuild ASAP.

bad customer service in cashbuild kroonstad
I am currently building my home the first time I went to Cashbuild Kroonstad there was no problems from the second time everything went horribly staff won't work together they gave me cement that was torn when I notice the guy that did the delivery said he would give it just like that to me.I was lied to about the time of my second delivery so it came late when I went for the 3rd time was on a Monday staff argued in front of us about helping with packing customers stock.Today I went again to buy cement the cashier was talking to me as if she didn't want to assist me.She did the transaction and didn't have a stapler the cashier next to her had one but she didn't want to use hers she made me wait hence she did not have paper to print couldn't operate the printer afterwards.Your staff in Kroonstad needs customer service training and need to treat they customers with respect.

The Abuse and bad treatment and inhumane treatment and intimidate the staff. Making us work like slaves and throwing his power around and creating his own rules.. The staff is are even afraid to speak up against the store manager, he prays on the weak and the knows that the staff doesn't know thr rights. Threatening staff and calling us names. He ones called me a NAFI. and even went on further and explained that it means NO AMBITION AND [censored] ALL IN LIFE. He also does contructiv dismissals. And abuses anyone who tries to stand up against him. The staff is afraid to even talk. Or do anything about it. I've been enduring this abuse from our store manager for two years. I'm speaking on behalf of the rest of the staff. We need help from directors or MIMI MASALA TO CALL US ALL FOR A MEETING WITHOUT THE STORE MANAGER PRESENT.

I was at Northam Build it to buy Plugs, Janus Snapper and Wire. My complain is Plug Snapper Black was priced R30, 99 with sticker of 30% and I asked Consultant Called Refilwe about 30% and she said to me she doesn't know how does it work and she asked her Senior for further assistance and the Senior sad to me that, that Item does not belong to their store is from other store and she turned the back on me and she even said to that it's either I buy it or leave it and there was no even sincere of apology. 😢
I went to cash build Welkom to buy second code paint but in stead they gave me water paint, when I got home I opened it only to found out it’s water paint.Then I phoned cash build telling them situation here they said to me to return it when I get there they refuse to take it back claiming i have already opened it.

Highly disgusted in Cashbuild Princess Crossing Cnr Brown street and Ontdekkers Road. Pathetic customer service and this was not the first time. Every time I deal with Cashbuild Princess Crossing, I have the same issues over and over and now I had enough. On 10 July I placed my R5000 order for cutters to be delivered at my house on 12 July 16h30. It was confirmed to be in order and full payment was demanded of which I paid. Just to take the order took an hour? Staff scrubbing around clearly not knowing what they are doing. On Friday 12 July 16h20 a guy named Charles phoned and told me they are not coming as agreed and committed to when my order was taken. Charles told me they open 07h00 in the morning and I will have my order before 07h30 as I have told him my guys will be there at 07h00 to start fitting the cutters and I pay extra charges should they not finish. I pay them per hour. Again no delivery 07h30. I phoned and the said they are only loading now. I got my order at 08h00 which cost me extra labour charges to the guys who was supposed to start at 07h00 because my order should've been there previous day 16h30 but couldn't do anything thanks to your incompetence. Your drivers were so extremely rude, they didn't even greet me back. Disgusting. 13 July I had to go back 3 times as they gave the wrong stuff. It ended up that my guys fitting the cutters could not finish because of your incompetent customer service for not delivering on time as promised but you gladly took my FULL payment of R5000 and also due to the fact that your people keep on giving the wrong stuff because they themselves don't have a clue what to do and you cost me additional labour of R2000 due to your incompetent service. Sunday 14 July I again had to go back. Arrived 07h00 and all staff were standing outside and everything still closed. I asked what is going on and they said they don't know. At 07h30 some staff left and went back home. The store only opened at 08h00 now suddenly and strange that your own staff don't know that. This is the rubbish and incompetent service I put up with every single time I go to Cashbuild Princess Crossing and I am now done. The rest of my property including my other properties under restoration will surely not use you. I am a client for years and years and spend thousands per order. I will not one second sit with your pathetic service anymore. I am done with you as all I got from you was extra charges and incompetent service. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY CASHBUILD STORE EVER AGAIN. I took some material and encountered that the store doesn't have all the kinds of material I desired however I still compromised and took whatever was there but unfortunately other materials could not be compromised so I had to ask for cash back and harmoniously they gave us back on the store terms but now later they are refusing to do the same when there was a need to and I do not know why but whatever it is please sort out before I choose returning all the material and ask for refund of all the amount due to us.
