Cell C Not cancelling a contract for a deceased member

Hi there,

My mother (Mrs PC de Wit, ID number [protected]) passed away 14 November 2023. I contacted Cell C to ask for the process to report and close her account whereby I was informed to email her death certificate and copy of her ID to [protected]@cellc.co.za, which I did on 22 November 2023. I have followed up by phone, where I was referred to a branch. I went to the branch and submitted all the documentation again and still to date the account is active and the debit order is collected every month. Can someone please assist in closing her contract [protected]) and refunding the debit orders that has been collected since her passing?

Cell C FIBRE - not updating payments -the cutting my fiber

In October 2023 I kept on receiving sms's saying I had not paid - I did the payments and sent proof. I did miss my debit order but when paying via eft I put my account number as ref so that they could update my account - they did not.

Then suddenly they cut the service but they had not updated the payments

- the payments have still not been updated as of today 22/01/2024

In November las year over the phone it was suggested I do a reconnection fee - I paid this through their portal - again payment not updated - R1708.50 paid on the 25/11/2023

Then over the phone they told me they would never be reconnecting me because I don't pay

Then they handed me over to - SSD Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates

Please could I be sent a detailed statement showing all my payments - I pay R700 so that it is totally clear on the statement what was a debit order and what I paid EFT - none of my R700's ever show

Cell C Sim activation

I am struggling to get a sim activated. The sim shows activated from your side, but it's not activated from my side. I bought a new sim to do a sim swop and I'm being put through to countless consultants without being assisted. Consultants are rude and incompetent and this is a new line. I have 6 contracts with cell c and this is the second new line I'm struggling with and I'm really not happy. [protected]

Claimed loss: Paying for a service I have no benefit to. R299 plus pro-rata

Desired outcome: I need the sim activated and compensated for the month and a half I paid for this service.

Cell C My payments to cell c

I have made a payment which I was told in store by cell of the pro rata amount I did an EFT payment of R750 I have than email a statement including the pro rata amount which was incorrect I found into customer care to be told I need to go in store I went in store to find out why wasmt the payment allocated they said they have escalated and I should email cell c as well. I have done that to no further joy I than called again to an agent that assisted me and told me to email the proof of payment. And I will be contacted with in 24 hours which was not the case it's now been a month over and I called in again to see what has happened and I get the call hung up on my ear by one of their staff as they do not want to deal with the case I am extremely disappointed in this atrocious level of service

Cell C Contract end

My contract was ending in October 2024, I contacted CellC notifying them that i terminating my contract account but i want to keep my number as a prepaid. On the 1st of November the usual contract package was send and i called asking about the package the consulted assured me that i wont be paying any amount my cancellation will be effective on the 10th of November. Month end i received a statement saying i owe Cell C R298, I then enquire because my contract was up to date when I terminated.

Now i have received email saying that my account was hand over to Collection department.

Desired outcome: To remove the amount R298

Cell C Fraudulent contract in my name since 2021

Fraudulent contract taken out in my name Johan de Beer early 2021

Reported to bank (FNB) and the stopped the debit order

Reported /send mails to [protected]@cellc.co.za , numerous times with affidavit and required documents as required when logging it with Cell C telephonically on 2/3/2021 10:43 , reference [protected] (person Simo Ndlela)

NO RESPONSES from Cell C (within 48 promised) at all after numerous mails send.

Cell C Upgrade

Trying to upgrade my Teo cellphones and I'm being asked if I'm on debt review which I am not then I find out cell c listed me on experien for an account I sorted in 2020 and they needed to remove it but my score has not been adjusted as yet and I'm due for upgrading this is the last month . All I'm asking is to upgrade to what I'm paying now that'd all. I pay R1300 a month and sadly I'm looking at canceling cos I can't upgrade

Cell C Cell c upgrade

Good day

I have a complaint, i am now 6 years with cell c, so i have 3 contracts with cell c

Every 2 years i want to upgrade their is always a problem from their side, then my score is to low or something, every time i must do a upgrade something is the problem my upgrade date was for august. The 2 upgrades of my phones are through but the 3 th one they ignore me, i sent several emails no response, from their side, i also called in they will give the message, nothing is happening

I am really angry because of the poor service

They can call you every day if you owe them money but when they must do their job, no assistance

I took out a month to month router account with cell C. When Netflix became popular, I got myself uncapped data from Multichoice and also needed it for assistance with daughter's homework. Cell C Fiber cancellation without fore-warning

I received an email stating that my line would be suspended, I responded to this and was advised that I should forward my POP for Oct & Nov which I did. Following that I received an email that my facility has been cancelled.

When I follow up on Sunday morning as my fiber is now inacctive, I was advised that no payment was received since June, yet every month I send POP and request confirmation of payment allocation.

The CellC fiber "collections/accounts/legal" team have never commicated any outstanding balance, my invoices come money without any carried over amount.

They state I should pay the cancellation fee 1st and then apply for a new fiber line yet I was wrongfully disconnected and [protected]@cfibre.co.za team is of no help whatsoever.

Cell C Have to pay for product I do not have

I took a contract last year for a laptop. It was faulty and I send it back. As of yet have not received the laptop and was billed for it. I believe it is unfair. Could someone please contact me regarding this. Its been a year already. Have spoken Alvinia at the Cell C shop at Garden Route Mall, George. My cell nr is [protected] my name is Darryl Rondganger

I have cancelled my contract completely with Cell C,

I Mr Michael Phillip Mcclarty, have just recveived this Invoice Number: B382273309

Invoice Date: 01/11/2023

I cancelled my contract with Cell C on the 30 August 2023, as my period for the contract was coming to an end.

On the 26 March 2022 I moved to the UK permanently and asked Cell C to stop the DATA contract [protected], as the sim is no longer in use, I was informed that this cannot be done till the end of the contract, this was cancelled in August as well.

Why am I still being billed for any of this, Cell C must reimburse me for the DATA that was never used.

Cell C Payment allocation

Good day

I've been a cell c customer for many years. I missed 2 payments and got handed over. I paid up the account within a month. Send numerous emails with proof of payment. Called and the agent said that the allocation department did'nt allocate my payment I should resend which I did. I called again and was told that I should move my money from my bank account as the account was still not updated and a big debit order was set to go off. This morning I received an email that my entire contract has been canceled and I must pay r38000.00 and still no payments updated on their system. My id number [protected].

They don't respond to any of my emails.

My issue is still not resolved. I have sent all my proof that the payment was made to NIMBLE that Cell C handed me over to. I also emailed the correspondence from NIMBLE that the account was paid up and handed back to Cell C.

Cell C refuses to allocated my payment. R5000 is no joke just to throw away.

I'm extremely frustrated with the service with Cell C!

Cell C Adjusting of payment

On Tuesday 31 October 2030 I received an sms informing me that Cell C will be adjusting my premium. If I sign a Contract it binds me to pay particular amount on particular day if I fail I am panelized. Cell C mut not unilaterally increase their payments before I agree. Last time they didi it they blame it on Covid now they are doing it again. Already I am paying more than this gadget is worth. so they must stop this increment because that is the breach of contract. Otherwise we can cancel this account because it is not operated fairly.
