I am frustrated and annoyed with the service I received from Cell C. It attempted to deduct money we did not agree to. I have been paying my account R189 for 24 months suddenly Cell C feels like I know afford to R307. They just decided to make my account their playing ground. How can a person who was paying R189 now jumps to R307.They did not even discuss it with me. Now they have suspended my account saying I need to pay the difference. My question is who did they discuss the R307 with? Why should they think our accounts are their play grounds. I had a legitimate reason why i agreed to R189.00 meaning i cannot afford. So now i am in trouble as my line is suspended and only have one phone. it has been two days now without a working phone. Imagine if i get attacked or have an emergency i have to run too. I must now suffer for their greedy act, selfish and evil behaviour. This is totally unacceptable.

When the contract was explained to me by tumi from your brits mall branch, I was told I have unlimited calls, unlimited sms'and 10gb of data on a pinnacle unlimited offer for r999 x 24 months.
I asked her to explain the contract to me. She did. I was not told that I have to pay extra for certain numbers or cellphone banking.
That is why I took the contract for my business as it seemed to cover everything. My number was ported from vodacom and my first account (Nov 16) was r1804.63.
Dec 2016 r1017.19, jan 2016 r 1003.06, feb 2016 r1003.
Never r999!
And then at times I cannot go onto the internet (Insufficient funds?)
This is a problem as I need to know at all times where my trucks are driving on tracker.
I was told on 25 january 2016 that the area manager (Len vorster) would phone me and i'm still waiting. Almost a month now.
To me that is breach of contract on your side.
Please I need this resolved asap.

cancellation of contract
We submitted a cancellation of contract agreement on the 16/05/2016 to cancel the data contract. We followed up and followed up and month after month the debit order was still taken off even though the data service has been cancelled. In December I spoke to someone who confirmed the paperwork was in order and the cancellation just had to be done. She gave us a ticket number [protected] and promised that no more debit orders would be taken and we would receive a refund for the debit orders that shouldn't have been debited. End of December and January the debit order still went off. It is really difficult to get hold of anyone telephonically, I have emailed support and I one responds. YOU GUYS ARE PATHETIC!

I had a contract phone with cell c 2014, 2015 went by and i was still paying it, 2016 March i did not pay if for two months, okay fine, , they then discounted my services. July i paid R2500 for the months i skipped and it was reconnected for a day, i then called customer service were they advised that my line has been permanent disconnected i lost the numbers and i wont be able to retrieve it, it was okay with me as it was my fault, then the lady who was assist me transferred me to their legal department were they were gong to issue me with the settlement payment, the guy who was helping me said i need to pay R10062, which i did pay on the 15 of september 2016 and also received a paid up letter then they told me that the account will be closed and my credit profile will be updated after 23 months, its been 5 months later and still my credit profile has not been updated, i cant get any credit as this makes me a bad payer, i mean i dont owe than anything, they got their money now they cant return the favor, even their network is not the best anyway .*angry ex customer*

I took my phone in for repairs, on the 30th of November 2016. It is still under warranty as I have had it for less than 1 year.
Two months on, I still do not have my phone. I was told I would have it after 21 working days. It has been well after 62 days. I do not know if the problem is with me and my counting skills or with cell c and their lack of professionalism.
That is not the only problem. I went into this particular store 3 times to be assisted with a sim swap. I am still without one.
So here I am, paying for
1. A phone I don't have.
2. Bundles I don't use.
This is the worst service known to mankind.
Whenever I call cell c Jubilee Mall, I am given countless excuses and rude comments. This store is literally a waste unless you want to buy a sim card and rica it. That's all they are good for!

I have been using Cell C network for years. Now it has stopped working and Cell C head office is telling m that my number is not registered on their network. When I buy airtime I buy cell c and it get accepted. How come they now say that it is not registered after so many years? Surprisingly I called the [protected] number for cell c found on the internet but they themselves could not find the number as a network provider.
Apparently Auto page sold its shares to some company but does that mean that their private sales has to hinder with the clients life/ my life?
Eric and Vincent said they will help me but do I have to come to this to get my voice heard or problems sorted?

I was transferred to Glocell when Autopage closed. My contract was expiring in January 2017, i contacted Glocell and they emailed me a Termination of subscriber, and was told to email it to the email on the form ([protected]@seventy2.co.za.
I emailed a copy of my id with the termination letter on the 06/12/2016, giving my 1 month termination. On 30 January i contacted Glocell to find out if the cancellation will go through, only to be told that the email i was given on their standard form, they could no longer access as the department was in Durban and had closed down.
After numerous, and i mean numerous phone calls, emails, Hello Peter i have still not got any feedback.
Surely this is not my fault if the email provided is incorrect.
I have also sent all documentation to Carte Blance to investigate, as i see on Hello Peter and Facebook how many complaints there are against Glocell.

I took a contract with cell c about 3 months ago and on the 2nd month the bluetooth and WiFi stopped working it just got grayed out. I went to the store to book it in for repairs but they could not give me a replacement phone so I had to wait to get myself another phone before booking it in. The phone is still under warranty and I was told that there were quiet a few phones having the same problem. I Googled it and I've also seen that it seems to be a common thing with these phones. Cell C repairs center checks the phone and because it has few scratch marks they said the phone needs to be replaced and I need to pay R1440 to get a new phone. How is this possible or even makes sense. Everything in the phone still works perfectly. How is it my fault that the Bluetooth and WiFi isn't working when there are so many others having the same problem with these phones. I think this is a total rip off because if I do pay and you give me the same phone how does it help me if 3 months down the line it's going to do the same thing.
I don't mind paying a little extra every month for another brand phone but Im not going to pay R1440 for a phone that people are having problems with. The reference number given to me was KWDUR101055.

theft: unauthorized debit order off my account
Glocell debited an amount in excess of R2000 from my bank account without authorization. They have admitted that it was due to administration error on their part but have not credit the amount back to my account as yet. They committed to a date but the credit never appeared in my account. I have emailed their Customer Support line but receive no feedback. The person who was assisting me no longer responds to any of my emails. AND so I sit with an excess of R2000 less in my bank account? Do I lay criminal charges of theft or approach the Consumer Protection Act?
unable to cancel contract due to poor service
I have been trying to cancel my Cell C contract from beginnning of January 2017, since we have moved to the Netherlands and have no use for my South African number. I have contacted the Sandton store, where I initiated my contract, to assist me in clsing the contract and settling any early termination penalties.
We received feedback from a consultant stating, the incorect monthly contribution and just multiplied it by the remaining months and provided me with a bank account number to pay the above calculated balance to. I followed up, requesting official documents to end the contract and the termination penalty, which is not the above calculated amount since I will not be incurring the costs for using the network for the next 14 months. I then received no further feedback.
It took me 4 additional mails and a threat to take further steps before one of the senior management members from the store replied, stating a number a should rather dial instead.
I once again relied to request email information/ the correct chanels to follow since I am already in the Netherlands and cannot call South african numbers and since I have been dealing with this matter for more than a month now.
I urgently need to cancel this contract and would also like feedback about the money that has been deducted for JAnaury and February due to a lack of service from Cell C's side.

i purchase a phone from the cell c shop in the bluff area Durban
which crashed one month after i both it in march 2016 then went in for repairs got it back a month after again November 2016 crashed gave it in and the store had a robbery in which phone had physical damages i then requested i get another device i do not want that one back till date i have not been assisted and sitting with out a phone it is now February 2017
the financial adviser of the store has made mention of many false promises but failed to deliver anything in writing.

an ag mobile phone that had lifetime warranty
I went to cell c in kimberley last year, bought a phone AG mobile which has lifetime warranty. If the phone is faulty, I could take it back and get a new one instantly. Has 24hr swap out. Now the service clerks tell me AG mobile no longer producese the phones but I don't have a contract with AG mobile but with cell c. I need a new phone now, because I need my number operating. They told me the TT has been logged SD586310. This according to them is a technical problem they need to fix first. Please assist because I've been going there all week with no assistance at all. It is with absolute disgust that I write this email today!
Before I explain the situation, I would like a senior person to contact me on [protected] to apologise as well as to submit a proof of payment for the money that was again deducted from me today.
I went to your store in Carnival Mall and cancelled my contract on 19.09.2016. Ref [protected]
The cancellation was sent to you and Cleopatra confirmed the receipt hereof.
The money was still debited from my account in October, November and December after which we stopped the payments from the bank for November and December.
We again visited your store on 02.01.2017 and the cancellation was sent through again, Ref [protected], and we were told to phone you.
On 10.01.2016 we phoned your offices, had to hold for more than 30 minutes before our call was even answered. Cleopatra confirmed that the cancellation was received, I had to hold on for another 15 minutes for her to speak to Retentions to find out why it was not processed. She confirmed that the cancellation was done. She also said that they would reimburse us. This did not make any sense as we stopped the payments from our side, which cost bank charges.
She confirmed that you would reimburse bank charges if I send the bank statement, which I did not do as I just wanted this issue resolved and no more money being debited from my account for a contract that I am not using.
Once again the money was deducted today 01.02.2017.
As mentioned above, should this money not be refunded to me TODAY 01.02.2017, I will log a complaint with PASA. If you do not know who PASA is, they are the Payments Association of South Africa. PASA investigates disputes on unauthorized debit orders. PASA has the right to send your bank audit enquiries and could lead to financial implications for your company if found that you are debiting accounts without permissions. I know this as I am a Business Analyst in Finance and I deal with debit order deductions for major Insurance Companies.
Not only will I contact PASA, I will also contact the Ombudsman as well as log a complaint on Helopeter. I will use every social media available to me to make known how PATHETIC Glocell is.
Please note that this is no idle threat, this is an absolute promise.

False advertising for ship cruise. I took out a contract with glocell only for the ship cruise advertised for four people. Once I received my package before I opened it I called glocell to confirm my ship cruise and they told me once I activate my devise I will receive my voucher code, needless to say I phoned in three times for the voucher code, when I wanted to book I was told I could only book from the 1st november 2016 which I did, I received booking form with dates and emailed it off, I received a mail that said confirmation will be sent within 10 days, after numerous emails to shiela nankavis (the executive) no return emails left over 10 messages for her to call me she couldn't be bothered, then I spoke to bronwyn bevan ceo"s secretary same response absolutely nothing, received an email to say they will give me r8000.00 airtime I don't even use the contract that was not the deal, most useless company that I have ever dealt with, false advertising at it's best, if you have a promotion and you sell 1000 cell packages and you can only accommodate 1000 people don't be greedy and have the rest of us for fools meet your commitments. Ceo"s secretary says use the r200.00 per month that glocell give me and pay for a cruise myself... What do you say about that absolutely disgusting.

Applied for an upgrade. See attachment. Get 50 GB for 3 months. Received this sms: thank you for upgrading. Your account has been successfully credited with 5 GB of data valid for 90 days. Cell c... now the person Brandon at cell c kolonnade said he will sort it out for me but he reads my messages now without any response or feedback. Cell c said it will be loaded on the 1st of February. But this is the 2nd already. And 90 days running out. Just want to report them to bad products and services. And not giving what you applied for. It's a scam

Yesterday I called 084 1234 at 16:03 to add 3GB of data to my account, I spent in total 58min on the phone and guess what, My 3GB was still not loaded.
This is appalling, I dealt with Glocell a year ago when my phone was stolen and there was an issue with blacklisting my phone which took 5 weeks, just to blacklist my phone, 5 weeks, let that sink in.
While that is sinking in, yesterday every time I called someone would answer and then put me on hold and just leave the call there on hold or my call would get answered and that it would be muted for the remainder of the call.
Eventually I spoke to Nokhuthula who said there is a problem with the system and she will load my 3GB shortly. Guess what? It’s almost 20hours later and still no 3GB of data loaded.
How are these call centre agents measured, I mean surely the PABX detects who is abusing the system, No pride is taken in any of the work done by Glocell and it seems as though management has a don’t care attitude which is worse than the agents, it is truly pathetic, Calls being dropped, systems not working, incompetent employees.
If Glocell was wondering why most customers are so irate when their calls finally get answered (if at all) it is because it takes an hour to get through to support (after 10 Calls) with the IVR repeating the same thing over and over and over telling the caller about the email option and the website and when you eventually get through, the Service is not poor it is non-existent.
I spent a good number of years in the call centre industry and I know the ins and outs but this is surely the most pathetic inefficient service I have received from any Service Provider ever.
I have attached my call times for yesterday and surely somebody should be held accountable, if not there is no way Glocell will grow neither will the individuals which are meant to give customer service, if you are not able to take a simple call and assist a customer with a simple query how will u grow in any other industry. I understand Call Centre is frustrating but if it’s done properly and customers are kept happy then the employees will be happy as a result.
The management is poor at Glocell its actually sad.

2gb smart data plan cost at glocell
When Altech Autopage sold out. Glocell took over my Cell C contract. There packages differ from the original Altech Autopage packages and my data and SMS bundles disappeared overnight although the cost stayed the same. It was only after a few months did I realise this as the bills suddenly jumped from R 700 to R3000 due to data costs. At no stage did Glocell advise us of the unusually high data costs and offer any data packages. Trying to contact them electronically through email, website or their ridiculously useless android application proved futile in trying to change the data package. When my wife went in to ask for a data bundle to reduce the data costs they offered her a 2GB data bundle which would prove sufficient. This bundle is around R99 at Cell C. However Glocell charged us R 490. A 500% markup. Ridiculous. Thanks but no thanks Glocell. Going to Cell C direct. What a Con!
cell c service is pathetic!!!
Yesterday 31st January I loaded R100 for a data bundle, I tried for a few dozen times to speak to a cellC call Centre agent. But the call gets repeatedly cut which either means that the agents cut the calls purposefully or that something is seriously wrong with this company. I lost all R240 bonus airtime (which cannot be used to convert to data as Cellc claims it can) I lost about R30 of the R100 that I bought specifically to load a 99 data bundle, which is a huge rip off especially that if I paid for a service im not getting why should I not be able to connect to the Internet or even just check email. This is an outrage to say the least. Is this a ploy to get people to buy more product, as it certainly seems so but how can it be possible that in 24 period the calls coming into the Cellc call center keep shutting down? This is not the first time this has happened and is a rather poor excuse for customer service. Is Cellc the new Hellkom/Tellkom, that deducts R1 from a few million customers for no reason at all except to get money for nothing. I call it daylight robbery. 24 hours without being provided service for something I paid for is bleeping infuriating! Either pay your staff better wages or find some way to improve your service in which the general public don't have to pay for nothing but a waste of precious time or money.

Glocell had a promo take a new contract or upgrade and receive a cruise for 2 adults and 2 kids.I was one of the first people to know about this and applied straight away.Filled in all documentation and booking forms for cruise.Received an sms that glocell intends accomadating mean and more info will follow.
So here is the rubbish part :
I have been in contact with glocell tlc as well as the support department.I requested my tickets which are due to me agent told me he will follow up and get me some more info.Today i receive an email stating we sorry we cannot accomadate you as the promotion quoata of people has been reached and to compensate me i will receive an R8000 credit but only to use on my glocell data account.
This is total nonsense and legal action will need to be taken no matter what the terms and conditions state as per previous posts i saw from glocell to similar customer complaints.I would like the management of glocell to provide the details on how the 1000 +- families qualified for the cruise and i did not.I was one of the few that applied first and contract approved quick and device shipped to me, this is where the discrepancy arises, how did i not qualify?I only took this contract on the basis of me getting a cruise so whats the point being a glocell customer?This is a scam from glocell and a company thatsl has pathetic service and i have been an autopage customer and never had this type of bull**** service..I will ensure glocell is exposed for this and legal action is going to be taken.How is it that i applied 3 weeks before my relative and approved instantly he received cruise but i did not?Dont anwser me with your nonsense of terms and conditions state its a promotion based on availability...rubbish..
