I paid Central One almost $500 to get my washing machine repaired
I paid Central One almost $500 to get my washing machine repaired. It did not get fixed. Chad said they would be in touch with me since he took one of the parts back out when he knew he couldn't fix it. He said they would make it right. I called and left a message for Kevin to call me last week but I haven't heard back. I'll have to buy a new washing machine and haven't received even a partial refund. This really hurts. I don't have money for a new washer and will have to use the laundromat in the meantime. Not happy.

The technician was very prompt and efficient in reviewing the problem with my washing machine and reported that the cost of replacement parts plus labor charges would be more than I was willing to pay for the repair, and in addition there would be a 2 month delay in getting the replacement part. I was able to purchase another washing machine for less than the cost of the replacement part, and was able to get it the same day. I appreciate his honesty in telling me these costs and encouraging me to choose the best solution for me.

We got declined by 7 other service companies before I was lucky enought to get a hold of Central One.
They went out immediately and fixed the flat top griddle.
It works so good our client won't stop talking about how great the tech was and the miracle he worked to restore the griddle

Had my two Frigidaire Electrolux ovens repaired in January 2022. Two heating elements and one motherboard were changed, for a total of about $1000 including work. April 2022 one of the ovens isn't heating again. Called to schedule an appointment to have it looked at, only to be told that the parts are only guaranteed for 30 days, and I would have to start new as if the previous costly repair never happened. Only less than 3 months later with very moderate oven use of that oven must I add. Very unprofessional and definitely do not recommend this company

We called Central One Service LLC on a Saturday expecting to leave a message for a Monday morning callback. Instead, they answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. Chad was here on time and was extremely professional. He found the problem and while it couldn't be fixed that day, he ordered the part and scheduled a time to come back the following Friday. Chad came back first thing the following Friday and got everything fixed and we've had no problems since! We would definitely recommend Central Once Service LLC and we will be using them again for any appliance repairs we need in the future!

I would not recommend Central One Service. The company is not honest and charges ten times more than it costs. I agree with the reviews below about them overcharging. They were going to charge me over a thousand dollars to change the gasket on my fridge. I called the company and the gasket cost $98. I ordered it myself - which they told me was not possible because I was not "certified" - and I also installed it. They also told me that installing it would be the most difficult thing, however, it came with great instructions so I did not find it difficult at all. They told me that they have to pay for gas and make a living, and the parts are very expensive. We all want to make a living, but in an honest way, not by taking advantage of people.

The Tech didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. In fact, the part that was broke causing my ice maker not work wasn't need at all because so have a "gravity drain" that doesn't require a water pump in the first place. So instead of replacing a broke water pump that wasn't required he removed it for me and plugged the power cord directly to the machine and it worked like it was supposed to. Now the water just flows out the drain tube and down the drain by natural gravity. Between the basic service call and the labor charge it was an expensive lesson and I find out the part that broke was not need in the first place! Oh well. I learned a few things today but that's the price of doing business. I still appreciated the fact the tech didn't try to sell me on an expensive part that I didn't need. All in all very happy. Thanks.

The service person was very nice but he wasn't very helpful. He identified the issue as a faulty electronic controller. He then told me the part was discontinued and I needed to buy a whole new dishwasher. I found the part online immediately after he left. He did confirm for me that it was indeed the actual part needed via phone and said it would be an additional $60 to install it once I got it. The part arrived today. I installed it myself. It was a modular piece that snapped in place in less than 15 minutes. The only reason it took that long was because I had difficulty unplugging the wires on the old module. I think that the technician could have tried a bit harder but I guess it worked to my advantage. I didn't have to pay an outrageous up charge on part that was already expensive. Plus I saved $60 and time by installing it myself.

I can highly recommend Central One Service Appliance Repair! My refrigerator went on the “blink" and I called Central One. They had a technician (Matthew) out promptly and at the scheduled appointment time. Matthew was great! Friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and ordered the necessary part(s). Matthew also promptly returned on the date and time he had said he would, and he had my refrigerator running like new in no time. I should also say that I purposely waited approximately two weeks to submit a review, as a further test of the quality service. My refrigerator is “humming" and cooling as good or better than it did when I purchased it several years ago! I highly recommend Central One and I so much appreciate the friendly and quality service I received. I will definitely use them in the future for any appliance repair needs!

Had problems with my refrigerator not cooling and making a weird. The guy came out and didn't take nothing out but one shelf, but stated i had a bad fan on the front! He didn't take the back panel off or anything! I was quoted a price of 412.84 for parts, labor, service call etc. I ended up getting a second opinion, because like i said he didn't do anything but take out one shelf in the refrigerator. It ended up just being i had an ice buildup and that's why it was making a noise , it was the fan hitting the ice, and then it gotten so thick it was stopping the fan from turning. The other guy from another company simply melted the ice and now my refrigerator runs great Didn't need a new fan or anything ! I don't understand how you can charge a service charge but misdiagnosed the problem to begin with! He was friendly, just not very informed i guess and i feel like i just gave them 108.41 to remove a shelf and misdiagnose the issue.
Expensive!
Expensive! No Quotes given prior to service Tech didn't have part needed and had to come back a few days latter to replace a dryer heating element...Charged me 125.00 to adjust the doors on a refrigerator...50.00 service call on the same call out for the dryer which was 99.00 service charge ..149.00 total for the same service call ..I was not informed prior ..I could have passed on refrig door adjustment..it was almost 488.00 for the repair..I feel it was a lack of communication I also responded to an email asking if I missed the quote ? With no response ! But Jennifer saying " We don't work for free" I went by store front location and it was empty Response was " Our office is closed to the public" I only wanted to to get a paper written receipt and pay cash ... I have mixed feelings about using them I really would have appreciated a REAL QUOTE prior to service call On the bright side my dryer is working but the freezer is better but still some ice build up when closed ...Matt asked to look at it when he came back to work on dryer I was afraid of surprised charges..so told him No ...We are done ..just concentrate on dryer I would not use them again unless it's with in the 90 days of warranty of work

i only give 3 stars for the attempt to fix. I needed my whirlpool washer fixed and they came out before the New Year. It was determined i needed a part and it would need to be ordered. The part took about a week or so and once it came back, the technician finally came back out and put it on. Unfortunately the washer still was making a grinding noise. I called them back and the technician came back out and it was determined it needed a new wash plate which had to be ordered. Once it came in, the technician came back to put it on. i was happy it was fixed, so i later tried to do a load of laundry, I paused the washer to make sure it was actually washing the clothes and the little cap from the wash plate was in the laundry and the bolt was not screwed in but partially up and leaning to the side. i took a picture and called the next day to let them know. The technician called and i explained what happened. He let me know it was kind of irritating at this point but he was coming and bringing someone with him. Needless to say, i never received that visit. I haven't used my washer since December and it's now February. I did pay to have it fixed and it's not. I will have another company fix the bolt at this point.

Called to have them come out to verify what was wrong because it would make a sound but wouldn't work (dishwasher is under 2 years old). Chad Howard was the servicer and said the wash pump was out. I asked Chad if it was possible it went out due to no water going to the dishwasher. He agreed it was possible. I asked him if he would please add that to our workpaper so we could submit it to our insurance company and he said he would. However, he never sent it. Two weeks later I called again and asked Chad if he would send the updated work paper and he assured me (again) that he would. Nothing. Called back a few weeks later to be told that the wash pump went out due to wear and tear and that he would update the papers to show that. What? I don't understand why the sudden change? That was rude and uncalled for. If that was the case he should have told me that in the first place (which we both know is NOT the case). Ended up calling 2 other local plumbers that told me that yes...it could be caused by no water. They wasted 6 weeks of our time to try and get this resolved with our insurance company. We will NEVER use Central One Service again.

Ripped off and was told by Jeremy who is the CEO of this company to kiss his posterior over the telephone when I called him and realized what they did to my wife. Jeremy had come to my house and told my wife and myself that he was 80% sure it was the probe but it could be the board that was causing the oven not to work. He said he could put the probe in but we would be 586 dollars in the hole if it didn't but would put this towards the control board he would order as I would still need the probe. He said it would be around 1200 dollars. Being 80-85% sure it was probe we told him to try it since thanksgiving was the next day and my wife needed oven fixed. It was not the probe. It took him all of 4 or 5 minutes worth of work to change the probe out. He reduced the 586 to 343 dollars for my wife because she started to cry when it didn't work. My wife told me later after they had left and she paid them that it didn't take 5 minutes for 343 dollars and she wanted to call Frigidaire to see how much a probe costs as something did not seem right. Frigidaire is what type of oven we have. Frigidaire said the probe was 38 dollars max. They also said they don't make boards for our double oven anymore. I called Jeremy and asked him why he would have told my wife the probe is expensive part when Frigidaire said they sell it for 38 dollars. He said he doesn't use Frigidaire parts because they are of low quality. He said they only last for a couple months. The only problem with that statement is our Frigidaire double oven was put in our house in 2007. That probe has worked for 13 years. I told Jeremy that they don't even make boards for our oven anymore and he said he showed he could still get a board from Frigidaire but if not would build us one. I asked how much and he said 895.00 dollars more. I told him that was criminal how he does business to be dishonest with people. He told me he has been in business for years now and he has to make a living just like me. He said he marks his price up 40%. Said he is still cheaper than anyone else. Said he had to do what he has to do to make a living. He said we agreed to put the probe in knowing if it didn't work we would pay it and he gave my wife a break. He was going to charge her 586.00 and knocked it down to 343. For a 5 minute part change. This is a 38 dollar part and 5 minutes of work that he was originally gonna charge her 586. This is way more than a 40% markup. He told me that he would not be back to my house and I could kiss his posterior and hung up. I called him back and he would not answer his phone. I called the office and to speak to his boss and they told me Jeremy owned the business. I would not trust this man or do any business with him. Very dishonest and wish I would have read these other reviews before using him. Stay away!
