manager zulema not professional
Manager zulema refused to admit she didnt give me the correct sides. Never apologized and did not want to compensate me for my time or money... I told her I didnt think it was fair and I Was going to file a complaint and she said go ahead. It's not the first time I have had issues at this church's but this will be my last time. So sick and tired. My food was old too.

Managers and crew are rude store always nasty chicken raw, went in it was busy I waited for 1 hour for some chicken cashier was polite but the black man manager was rude cause the cashier said it was going to be bout 15 to 20 minutes for it witch it wasn't a problem but after 30 minutes I went in to see wat was the wait the manager man said he had to give the other guest the food first but mine was coming up so I waited again 20 more minutes went by went in again he said it was coming up now so I went back and waited when he finally brung out my food no apology or anything get up the street took a leg out cause I was hungry bit into it and what the hell the chicken was still raw so I pulled over and every piece of chicken was like that my mac and cheese I could drink thur a straw so I took it back and the manager man still didn't apologize I didn't want a refund just cooked all the way thur food but he said WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO I said I want cooked thur food he went to the drive thur and came back with my refund and I ask what's this for he said your refund I look stund I GUESS CHURCHS DONT CARE BOUT THEY GUEST that's my last time going to churchs I'll take my money to KFC

I was at the location on 55th & Prospect Ave., in Kansas Ctiy, MO, December 28 shortly after it opened for business that day. The restaurant was so filthy; crums, dirt and I can't imagine what else on the floors; stains on the walls and the area where the food was being prepared was extremely filthy. It looked as if it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. I voiced my concerns to the manager and she stated that the employee responsible for cleaning the evening before didn't show up for work. The restaurant never should have opened that day--not before it was thoroughly cleaned. I realize it's in an African-American neighborhood, but that's still no excuse. I lived in that neighborhood most of my life and have visited that restaurant many times over the past 30+ years, but I'll probably never go back, not after seeing the filthy conditions.
bad service, never have chicken cooked
I live less than right next door almost to church's chicken. I really used to like this place. The restaurant in round rock tx. Aw grimes 78664. The last 4 times I went there has been a nightmare. They say there is a 8- piece special they never have chicken ready. They tell me to wait 15 min I wait then when I go back there is no chicken. The last 4 times I had to leave there and go to popeyes im really pissed. Everytime u go u always have to wait 15 min to get anything. Never have spicy chicken never. The worst service I have seen at any fast food establishment. Please u are losing so much business, I see people leave because they cant get food including myself.

One of the things that makes Church's chicken so darn good is that they usually cook it up fresh when you order it instead of it sitting drying out under some light. The wait is well worth it (not to mention the specials they run where chicken is little more than half the price of KFC and the pieces are way bigger). You can have your Popeyes. That stuff has so much MSG in it that eating it makes me sicker than a dog.
You must be a child. If you were an adult you would know that food takes time to cook. Next time mommy is cooking offer to help and you will see that food does not magically appear on the table.
manager rude, poor service, never has advertised product
The manager is rude. I went to a Chuch's that was not free standing. I asked the store operator and the Church's manager what time did they open. They said 9:30 it was 9:15 so I left came back and then was told at 9:45 they don't open till 10:00 by the manager. I told her that everyone else told me 9:30. It's cool. I wanted the item they had on pasted on their window and on their drive thru board. At 10...I am told that they do not have the items...speechless. BTW they did not carry the item the last time it was the special...but you steady posting it on your window...

We decided to go to Church's on Saturday, July 19th, 2014 (store #286) Chicken, located at 1601 Cherry Street, Pine Bluff Arkansas 71601. Upon going in, placing the orders, paying for the order's, and waiting on the, order's...I just happened to look up, and directly above my head in the casing of the light fixture, was a mouse/ rodent running around...there was a very narrow crack and it was trying to get out... I was absolutely shocked and sickened by this! I did not create a scene, so I did get my order and go to the vechicle. My friends/ business partner's were in the car, and they were telling me about how one of the employee's threw some water against the window from the inside and the water was streaming down to the ground. How, unsanitary...but when I told them about what I had seen, they were, mortified...we all were.. It sickens me even now, having to relive those horrible events. Upon arriving at our destination, we just couldn't bring ourselves to eating the food, that could have been filled, rodent dropping's...harm full bacteria, etc.
I then looked for my receipts, so that I could speak to the manager, "Tristen Husky" I then went on to tell him about the events... I went on to ask him for the Corporate Office, information.. The contact number that he listed, seemed to be a local, phone [protected]...well, upon calling the number, the lady identified herself as being the, "district manager". I did tell her the details, of the matter...I began to search for my receipts, but only found, one... Receipt or Tran Seq. No: 708630, but while looking for my receipts, the district manager, hung the phone up on me, I called back and left a message...She has not, as of yet, contacted me and I truly do not appreciate, her unconcern. I want to be compensated, as soon as possible. Thank you.

I walked into Churches in Toledo, Ohio at 1530 Byrne Road [protected])
just before 1:00PM. I greeted the cashier and ordered 10 legs. She stated that
they could not sell me 10 legs because they only sold a 10 piece mixed with
thighs for $9.99. I asked again can you sell me just 10 legs. She gave me a
detailed answer stating that my order would leave them with a surplus of thighs
for the next person and no legs. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
The manager finally came over and started to repeat the same thing. I asked
him if I could buy just one leg and he replied "yes." I asked him if I could buy
just two legs and he stated they would cost $1.49 each. Then I asked him if I
could buy 10 legs and finally they realized they can sell 10 legs at a time.
I paid $14.90 for the order and received 10 biscuits with my chicken to
feed to the birds.
I am not the brightest person in the world but they should have paid me for the logical reasoning class that I gave them plus compensation for all the
aggravation I had to endure while ordering.
Folks, this has to scare you. These people vote. How do you expect them to
make an informed decision if they cannot thimk.
If a mixture of thighs and legs is on sale for a special price I won't let customers make substitutions either, what would be left for ALL the other customers would be a big box of thighs! Now if a customer wants to purchase all legs at individual prices then that's fine, I have no problems doing that, it's just that the sale price is based on a mixture of "both" pieces.

I drove 6.5 miles to get some chicken. I ordered $19.90 worth of food and took it home. When we arrived back 6.5miles home the chicken was burnt and dried. I didn't want to drive back so we tasted the chicken to see if it would be ok. No way was I going to eat that. I drove back 6.5 miles
To the store and complained to the manager and he said something in spanish to the lady and she counted the chicken in the box and yelled back to him there were only 7 pcs left and she bought 9. She told another guy to replace the chicken but"only give her 7 pcs because she already ate 2" the entire restaurant was looking at me as if I was trying to get something for free. I paid for my food and now the rest of my food was home getting cold... But I got 7 new pcs. I will never eat here again and I will tell everyone I know about the service

I went to Churches Chicken In Augusta, Ga on Milledgeville Rd, They took my debit card and said it was declined, so I paid cash. I got home to find out that they charged me on my debit card and they took my cash! Where's the justice. They said they refunded my debit card but its been almost 48 hrs and it still isn't back on there! I'm pissed off!

I got a family pack meal for the family at my local Churches Chicken and they forgot to include side items completely or give me what I did not order. This has happened 3 times in a month. This time forgot my 4 biscuts that were included as part of family meal, it was pint of coleslaw last time and when you call the manager never cares and says those things happen just tell us the next time your here. I live 13 miles away and when have yet to get any replacement but this resturant needs reorganization and new employees without the attitude!

You didn't tell your manager when you got the ticket that you needed to go to court that day. 8am same day is no notice at all. How is manager supposed to schedule somebody to fill in for you? Yes, you were wrong. Now you know.
racial prejudice
My husband and I stopped and bought gas and saw the Church's chicken and decided we would go in and eat and take a break outside the car during our 8 hour drive. We entered the business that I saw only 3 employees were working. One young woman that had a scar on the side of her neck and had a limp in her walk attempted to take our order. However we took a few moments to decide exactly what we wanted. We ordered a 10 piece box with the white meat to be spicy and the dark meat to be original. She informed me there would be a 15 minute wait on the spicy breast meat and I said that would be okay I could take original. She then informed me that it would be a 15 minute wait anyway to get the dark meat cooked so I told her I would take the spicy breast since I had to wait anyway. She conveyed this information to the young man in the back cooking. She went to the back to help him with the cooking. The other woman, slightly older than the other two, dressed in a navy or black shirt with braided hair, who appeared to be the senior person on staff at the time attempted to assisted with taking the money. We gave the order and did not have quite enough cash on hand to pay unless we broke a $100 dollar bill and we had already seen the sign on the door to the store that no $100 dollar bills would be accepted. We thought that might hold true to Church's so I went outside in the rain and got my purse, came back in and together we gave the clerk $17.56 in exact change. We took our cups to get a complimentary water as we had ordered and sat down at a table expecting to wait only 15 minutes to get our food. After our order was taken and we sat down at the table, a young black woman came in and almost slipped down and told the team leader person to put out the sign for the wet floor, With a coupon she gave the woman that appeared to be the team leader her order, and then immediately following her a very nicely dressed black gentleman that worked for Verizon came in and placed his order. She told them each that there would be a wait for the chicken to cook. She then proceeded to give them each a complimentary cup and told them to have a free soda while they wait. In the meantime, she gave one of them a quart of tea and stated that she did not charge them for this and I just felt she was trying to help them and give them the best deals. This still did not bother me. I understand that some people may need a little help to feed their children and that's okay. Then the chicken got through cooking about 25 minutes later and the team leader prepared the two black customers their orders of boxes of chicken, plus their bags of dinners, and their tea. At the time she took the chicken and placed in the boxes I got up from my seat and went to the counter to be served since my order had been placed long before the other two customers. After the two customers left she said come on up here and let's see what you ordered. I repeated the order of a 10 piece box with the white meat (5 breasts) would be spicy and the dark meat would be original. She then told me in a rude voice that I had said I would take the original and I repeated to her the steps that had occurred. The young black woman that had originally tried to take my order spoke up and told the team leader that I had said I wanted the spicy breast since we had to wait anyway. The team leader argued with her that I had not said that. The young woman then told the team leader that I could not have original either because now there was only one breast piece of chicken left and it was original. I then asked for my money back and the team leader did not want to give me my money back. She argued with me that I ordered original. The young woman reiterated to the team leader that there was only one breast meat left anyway. There was not even enough chicken left to fill our order. I told the team leader that I understood what had happened that she had filled the 2nd and 3rd order taken with the chicken I had been waiting on. Apparently, the 2nd and 3rd customer were locals that she knew and they were black and I am white. My husband stepped up and told her to just give us our money back and finally she did. I felt she did this out of racial prejudice and because I was a travelling customer and the other customers were not and she gave them favors wherein she did not offer the same to me. We spent 40 minutes out of our trip trying to get some chicken and some chicken that we really liked. This has left a sour taste in my mouth for Church's Chicken and I really understand how black people feel when they say they were treated with prejudice when everyone's money is exactly the same and all of our blood is the same color and we are all created equal under God. This service was horrible and I would never stop at another Church's chicken in Alabama again. I am not prejudice and I don't expect to be treated with prejudice. This team leader or manager should be fired for her rudeness and her unfair treatment of customers and for showing prejudice against my husband and myself.

They used bad oil and old butter on our meal, and undercooked our chicken, made us feeling sick and naseated so we left and did not finish our meal.

When in to order dinner, the place only had a man in drive thru. A man came in from the back and took part of my order. When i started to finish my order he said he already put my order thru. I said fine. While waiting the man in drive thru was busy playin on facebook on the compute. I thought it was rude as he told the other customer it would be a 15 minute wait for chicken. He had didnt show he like it when they said they would wait.When i returned home i found out i did not have all my order and the food was nasty as could be. Called to find out about any specials. Pulled up to drive thru was informed"we are out of chicken. It will be about 15 min. Was asked to park. Waited for approx. 45 min. When chicken was finally received order was wrong. To top it off the worker had an attitude when I was the one who had sat for an hour. Are you serious. If this is how church's operates as much as I like them I have no problem taking my business and hard earned cash elsewhere.

wrong order, wouldn't fix, rude
Drove 34 miles round trip inorder to get spicy chicken. When I got home the chicken wasn't completely cooked and wasn't spicy. Called and talked to Alex the Manager. He told me no problem they would make it right. I told him I only come to this town about once a month. Was in Cleburne, Tx so I decided to replace my chicken order. Pulled receipt out to remember Manager's name and pulled in to place order. (10pc total bill $27.26) Went through 2 people and finally the Manager came out. He stated he wasn't going to replace the chicken because I didn't bring back the other chicken. Fast food is suppose to be a convenience and I explained to him what he had said earlier and we had prior commitments to attend that is why I was ordering out and couldn't drive back 34 miles to waste time and gas and he rudely told me, "Well you just did!" He told me he didn't care and wasn't going to fix this. Rude, ugly, bad service and establishment old and nasty.
