City Auto - Murfreesboro I bought a vehicle from City Auto on 7/5/22

I bought a vehicle from City Auto on 7/5/22. They told me it had been checked out real good and wouldn't give me no trouble. They even gave me a warranty for one month or 1,000 miles. But guess what? On 7/8/22, the dang thing wouldn't start. I had to call City Auto to come pick it up.

Well, a whole week went by and they still couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They said they didn't have nobody to fix it and didn't know when I'd get it back. I talked to the manager and he said it would be at least another week. Can you believe that?

I asked them to reset the warranty so I could still get my full 27 days, but they said no. They wouldn't even give me a discount or let me cancel the purchase. They ain't even tried to make it right or nothing. And to top it off, they've had my car longer than I have!

I don't have no faith in them fixing it, and I don't know what to do. It's a real mess, I tell ya.

City Auto - Murfreesboro I went to City Auto on 7/17 to buy a used 2012 ***

I went to City Auto on 7/17 to buy a used 2012 ***. The buying process was okay, but as soon as I left the dealership and drove about 25 miles, the check engine light/service light turned on. I called City Auto and they told me to bring it back on 7/19 for service at their service center. It's been two full weeks now (7/17 - 7/31) and the vehicle has been unusable. The shop keeps making excuses like parts being shipped late, no A/C, and limited space for repairs. This is not normal when you buy a vehicle, and even though they're fixing it, they're not doing it quickly enough to minimize my and their losses. Now I'm starting to doubt the reliability of the vehicle I bought.

City Auto - Murfreesboro I bought this 2015 *** XXXX Xx4 in February 26, 2022, with around 94000 miles

I bought this 2015 *** XXXX Xx4 in February 26, 2022, with around 94000 miles. Right from the start, on the day I drove it home, the check engine light came on due to a misfire in cylinder 7. I took it back the following Monday and they changed the spark plugs. When I went for a test drive before taking it home, the engine suddenly blew up. They replaced it with a motor from a junkyard, but when I picked it up, it leaked 8 quarts of oil on the way back to them within a couple of days. Moreover, the heat stopped working and there was oil in the radiator. They replaced the radiator twice within a span of 2 months. However, it leaked all the oil again when the radiator failed once more. Finally, I had to take it to the Chevrolet dealership, where they installed an OEM radiator, costing me almost $1300.00. Now, nobody wants to take responsibility for their mistake and reimburse me.

City Auto - Murfreesboro I'm an active duty military personnel and I told the folks at City Auto multiple times that I needed a reliable vehicle

I'm an active duty military personnel and I told the folks at City Auto multiple times that I needed a reliable vehicle. However, they let me buy a car that had some issues. The horn didn't work the first time, and then I had to take it in again because there was something wrong with the traction control. Additionally, the heat shield to the exhaust was making a noise. I asked them politely to fix these problems and also requested them to check if there were any other issues with the truck. They claimed they did, but last weekend when I took it down to *** the engine light came on and it threw up two error codes. I had to take it back for a third time, and they said they would fix it under warranty. However, in reality, I only had a *** mile warranty on the ***. They had charged me for a warranty on the engine, transmission, and emissions of the truck, but they claimed I didn't have it.

I bought a 2017 *** Armada from City Auto - Murfreesboro on 10/26. The next day, on 10/27, I had to return it to the dealership because of some issues. They ran a diagnostic test and promised to repair the car. However, I had to return it again on 11/01. They kept promising to return my truck on 11/02, then 11/3, then 11/11, and the delays continued until 11/30 when I finally got my truck back. But guess what? I had to bring it back again on 12/01 because I noticed that the fan was not running properly. Their solution was for me to take a ride alone and see if the fan would display any issues. I explained that the fan wouldn't misbehave during a random ride down the street. They told me to bring it back if it happened again. Well, today is 12/4 and it's happening again! I live an hour away and I keep having problems with this vehicle that I purchased. The diagnostic check shows that this truck doesn't meet my needs and has proven to be unreliable. I'm not sure if I should just curse this dealership for selling me a lemon or give them a chance to provide me with a different truck. Their team seems unable to fix it, and honestly, it's not acceptable to have it break down one week after they claimed to have repaired it. No one would be okay with a $30,000 liability like this. I've sent an email to the dealership expressing my frustration. It's been a nightmare. Initially, they refused to fix my worn-out brakes and a leaky engine seal. They only agreed to fix them after I called the bank. And now, the truck has broken down. All I want is my trade back so I can move on with my life.

City Auto - Murfreesboro I sold a truck and had title issues that lasted for months

I sold a truck and had title issues that lasted for months. They told me to keep driving with expired tags because they wouldn't issue a new one. Dealing with them was a hassle, trying to find time in my day. I was frustrated and asked for a resolution since it wasn't my fault. Instead of offering the price of another truck they showed me, they treated it like a trade-in and added negative equity on top, making the cost much higher. I had no choice but to accept, as they wouldn't refund everything and cancel the deal. I got the 2015 diesel truck they sold me, but couldn't drive it because it had recalls that Ford needed to address. I had to sign the papers with City Auto anyway. When I got the truck back, I discovered it had a bad knock. I brought it to City Auto's mechanic, who agreed that something was wrong. They sent it to Ford of Shelbyville and found out it had two bad cylinders. The service manager told me I had the opportunity to back out or choose something else. Fed up with their runaround, I wanted to cancel everything, but they refused. They forced me to stick with the original truck, which still had title issues. I had no say in the matter and was made to sign something I didn't want because they wouldn't pay off the bank. Throughout this ordeal, they kept pulling my credit. I want to sever ties with them and have them take the truck back, as I initially requested. They are only interested in money and not doing what's right.
