14 March went to collect Moms Chronic, they did not have all the meds available, advised they will order and to collect Monday 16th March
16 March went to collect, ticketing machine gives 3 options, Prescription, Self Med, Collections
I take a ticket for collections, there are at least 30 people waiting between lists of Prescription and Self Med, next to collections is 4 numbers.
waiting time 73 minutes. After 15 minutes I ask if someone is handling just the collections and get advised that NO wait your turn.
Question? why have choices if they make no difference to your waiting time?
I could have been in and out in less than 5 minutes but due to no stock I must now wait 73 minutes! and join a q
Question? What is the point of a ticketing system which does not benefit the customer, if no system we would have had a choice of counter to q in front of and one of those was previously a collections counter
This counter was also introduced to make life easier for both Pharmacist and customer as we were able to pre-order our meds and they had time to prepare them for collection
