meat department
My self Nicole Mundy and my partner Gresham Mcnair have been long time customers of your Collie 6225 store (10 - 12 years). We are both on centrelink benefits. Over the last couple of weeks we have been to the store a numerous amount of times to do our shopping. Each time there has been very little meat selection to buy. Only the expensive meat. (The...

Over priced items. On Monday I visited the above centre and was charged $16.00 per kg for deli leg ham where as in he past we were charged $14.00per kg, the increase is far greater than inflation. Also lamb heart has increased from $6.99 per kg to $9.00 per kg, this increase seems to me that Coles are matching the price from Woolworths, again the increase...

I have ben buying this product for sometime and drinking 10 grams in a glass of water every morning. The packet I bought recently seemed to to very fine powder which turned to gel within seconds when the water was added. It was impossible to drink. I returned it, and received a refund. Woolworths flakes are the same as original. I will be purchasing these flakes from Woolies from now on if Coles don't change this product
customer service at local retail outlet
I was shopping for essentials ay Warners Bay Coles at approx 1330hrs today Sunday 8th Sept and went to checkout which was empty. I put through all my items. While I was doing this two other customers - who were together- arrived. At the end after scanning all the items, the checkout operator asked if I was directed to the express checkout and she then indicated the 12 items only sign which I had not noticed . I said 'no, I am not thinking properly my head is full of cold/flu and I just saw it was empty and headed for it'. She said 'it is hardly ever empty here'. I said ' there was not a person there'. She said in a very sarcastic manner 'have a lovely afternoon then wont you' to which I replied 'yes i will enjoy being sick thankyou very much' and started to move away. As I walked away the operator made a comment which appeared to be about what I had said and the waiting customers laughed.
Yes I made a mistake and probably shouldnt have replied in the way I did, but why the need for such humiliation by the checkout operator?
This is just a small thing but why should I be treated this way for making a simple mistake? If I were to treat my clients at work in this way I would not have a job and I am sure the checkout operator would want me to treat her in a fair manner if she were one of them.
overcharged $114.00
I made a purchase for 3 packs of cigarettes on 01/09/2019 & unfortunately I did not check the receipt immediately after the purchase. On reviewing my bank statement, I was charged for the 3 x packs ($89.85) and 1 x CARTO ($114.00) a total of $203.85.
I'd like to know what recourse I have to get reimbursed for the $114.00?
I know that the register used for the purchase would show the extra $114.00 for a
purchase of the 1 x CARTO' which is still in stock.
Please help me, I'm a disabled pensioner, and $114.00 is a hell of a lot of money for me (the purchase of the 3 x cigarette packs is my budget for the whole
month).
management
The store manager has no urgentancy about resolving issues with store operations
The store hasnt had a baker for 3 weeks
This means our business will drive 30 min to obtain the same product.
The store manager dosnt want to interact with the local people who make his store profitable
The store has deterated considerable in stock, selection and service. It comes fro the top. He has to lead.
I find him unaproachable arrogant and unhelpful. His handling of the "COLES LEAVING IN 2 YEARS" was short of junior staff member in charge.
This manager does nothing to promote the coles brand and i class me to be a liability to your company
A no care attitude its not me
new security lids for baby formula tin
My experience today at coles engadine was absolutely not acceptable as a previous loyal customer. Being a new mum and just recently started bottle feeding my newborn with the aptamil gold formula plus which I found it easy to purchase, I noticed just recently there are coles security lids on these tins that require a special device at the counter (which...

sophie’s kitchen naked prawns
I bought 2 packets of this product (Sophie's Kitchen Naked Prawns) from Coles Supermarket in Kincumber NSW, yesterday, 4th Sept 2019.
I followed the cooking directions. They were disgusting. I strongly recommend you discontinue stocking this product. I consider I am owed a refund. I believe the product information on the package is false advertising! How dare they call them Naked Prawns. They are not prawns!
You have discontinued stocking in this store some wonderful quality products such as Mr Chen's Spring Rolls & charcoal gluten free crackers & other quality products.
Regards from a regular but disappointed customer.

pa system.
This is not the first time I have complained about the new PA system in Coles. But it's usually to a member of staff and I ask them to pass my grievance on to a manager. Today, however, was the final straw. Since the recent renovations, a new PA system has been placed in the Echuca store. My complaint regarding it previously was the loud intrusive three piercing beeps that would alert customers that someone was about to speak on the microphone. It sounds like an alarm, like a fire alarm beep. Very loud and abrasive. Every week I would shop and complain that it spoiled my quiet shopping experience. Now and then someone would use a phone to make an announcement and following the piercing beeps the voice would come out garbled, loud and no one could understand what was being said, but it was also loud. Today apparently, they were trying to fix this problem by having someone walk through the store using the phone in different locations. This was happening just after nine o'clock in the morning. The three intrusive obnoxious sounding beeps would first go off, then a very loud voice would compete with the microphone feedback screeching at a very ear-piercing level. This was happening every two or three minutes or sometimes less until finally, I could not stand it any longer. I went to the registers and found an employee and asked her to find me a manager I could complain to about the constant aggravating interruption to my shopping. Once I spoke to two managers and told them that I had a granddaughter who has autism, and a son who suffers from anxiety and although they were not with me, their testing or whatever they were doing would send them into the worst meltdowns you can imagine, and that they had now given me extreme anxiety to a point where I was about to walk out and leave the two full shopping trolleys for them to put back on the shelf if they did it again. Also that I was seriously considering never returning and shopping somewhere else in the future. They did apologize and promised I would not hear it again. I was then able to finish my shopping and leave. The screeching feedback did stop. However, the annoying and harsh beeping alert sounds still announced that someone was about to LOUDLY make an announcement. I shop in coles every single week and now thanks to that awful screeching feedback, whenever I hear those cringing beeping sounds I flinch and start to shake. I like shopping in Coles but if you are going to insist on using that repulsive beep, I will be forced to look elsewhere. Today Coles Echuca made me feel like I spent $249.40 to feel extremely uncomfortable, disturbed, edgy, tense, aggravated, apprehensive, unwell, anxious, unwelcome and distressed. Looking back I am appalled that the manager had to deal with a hysterical screaming woman, namely me, but that is what the store turned me into. The date was 5/9/19 and my checkout time was 9.38 and my receipt number is 6427 as proof I was actually in the store. I will not shop in that store for much longer if that beeping continues. little shop collectables

Thu sept 5th 2019 -
Despite the higher price in petrol compared to caltex, I intentionally chose to fill up petrol & purchase items at coles express malvern as we are collecting the little shop collectables.
When I went in to pay I wasn't given any little shop collectables even though I spent enough for 2 of them. When I asked why they replied that they have run out.
I find this very frustrating as had I known this was the case I would have filled up my petrol at caltex which was the cheaper option.
Considering all of the advertising promoting the current little shop collectables I would assume that it is responsibility of coles to make sure all of their outlets are stocked with this promotion.
I would like to be compensated for this with either a voucher (or the like) for the little shop collectables which I can collect at any coles or a voucher to use on petrol considering I chose to use coles express (instead of the cheaper option) to fill up petrol to receive the little shop.
incorrect advertising of mini shop plus alan jones issue
I have been a Customer of Coles for well over 20 years spending substantial amounts on food and groceries etc. In fact over the last 30 days I have spent $982.05 at Coles Supermarkets and $115.76 at Coles Express. I have been collecting the mini shop items for my Grand daughters. On 4th September 2019 I shopped at Coles Ballarat. I spent a total of $370.13. I asked for the mini collectibles only to be advised that they had run out. This is quite contrary to you offer (as copied below), from the Flybuys site which I had activated. Obviously this ad is incorrect. I will be seeking advice from the ACCC. I am also appalled that Coles apparently has withdrawn its support and advertising from Alan Jones and 2GB over a comment that I and many other decent and patriotic Australians agree with. Therefore, due to the above issues I will be withdrawing my support from shopping at Coles and its other entities. I will also be advising my friends and relatives of the action I have taken and the reasons why. I am sure many will support me and possibly take the same action. Regards Alan Williams.

rude staff
The Asian guy working on wynyard coles on sept3 tuesday night on front desk is too rude to be working in customer service. I have done transaction with him couple of times and he is always rude. Doesn't greet, doesn't answer to customer greeting, just sells stuff with angry expression and rush. and doesn't even ask if we want receipt, just throws the printed receipt in the bin. it has been couple of times, and I don't think I will deal with that person ever now.
damage to clothes due to broken item
On Tuesday 27th August I was doing my shopping at the Cranbourne Park Store, I was in Aisle 14 (Laundry) I picked up a bottle of Shelly's Mould Remover, I picked it up by the top and didn't notice that the top was broken and when I picked it up the bottom fell to the ground, I managed to ask a fellow shopper to stand with the spillage while I went to let the staff know what had happened, a call out had been given for assistance, the store cleaner came and took away the bottle and cleaned the spillage, both my fellow shopper and I continued shopping, I purchased my items and went home, on Wednesday I noticed something on my coat and when I looked closer it was a bleach splash which came from the spillage. I went into the store on Friday 30th and spoke to a member of staff regarding what the process was, I request was given for the store manager to come to the customer service desk, a lady called Linda came and explained that a form needed to be filled out, she left then came back and asked if I could write down what had happened, give my name and contact number and the manager would give me a call, I have not yet received a call, I believe I did the right thing by informing the store of the spillage but I didn't expect the manager follow up on my issue, I spend alot of my money shopping in that store and to be honest I at least expected a call from the manager. Unfortunately I no longer have the reciept for the coat but I did purchase it from Kmart and I believe it cost around $50 and was purchased this winter so it is relatively new, I am not asking for the earth just a little respect. Any assistance with this issue would be great. Thank you in advance for your time and look forward to your reply.

Hi there, I did my shopping at Coles Lismore yesterday Thursday 29th August. After Coles I headed straight for my car to go home. I got approximately 10 meters from my car and the handle on the bag I had paid for from Coles completely ripped away causing the bag to drop to the hard ground of the car park. I had 2 cartons of eggs in the bag which broke...

I opened a tin of 825g of coles fruit salad in juice, and I was shocked I straight away noticed that the amount of juice and fruit was way to low, the juice was only just half way up or the tin, and all the fruit that was in there was pineapple and only 20 pieces.
This is shocking since it is meant to be fruit salad!

staff putting pallets on roadway outside of loading zone in blind spot
Hi, Yesterday 28/8/19 at around 4.15 I parke well away from a truck that was in a loading zone at the back of Coles Kaleen and proceeded to the post office to pick up my mail. I was actually pointing the wrong way in said loading zone, however I am entitled to park in these zones as I was in my business vehicle and was checking business mail box. (sorry to...

Tonight I called into coles - pittwater place (mona vale) on my way home, I was pleased to see two blocks of cadbury dairy milk 180g two for $3 as I went through the register it came up at $3 each, so I took the cashier over to the 2 stands ten signs everywhere, 2 for $3 the women called someone else over who promptly took them all off, then I not only didn't get the specials they both proceeded to laugh at me and said, "no ha, ha no ha ha". That is the second time, in the same manner, the same thing happened to me.
It was not only embarrassing because it was 5:30 lots of people around, his tearing ten tags off and laughing.
Great customer service.
Over the past nine years, I have had the most outstanding service from keely mckenzie the (seafood manager), in fact, I have moved from store to store where ever she works, because of her great service in coles but tonight might make me think differently about returning to the store at all.
If it's clearly advertised mistake or not it should be honored, not to make me feel like a criminal. I don't want to get the cashiers into trouble but there should be some education with the cashier and the consumer with this problem.
I look forward to your response.
