coles comfy bots baby wipes
I bought the comfy bot baby wipes box which has 6 packets of wipes and 5 packets of my wipes didnt have holes in them to pull the wipes out, I had to make a hole myself.
Im disappointed in the new style of the packaging and also the new nappies. To thin and my son leeks through, where as the old style of nappies he could wear all night with out a problem.
footy frankfurts 750gms
Purchased 5th feb 2017 with use by 9th march 2017. Cooked when got home 3 frankfurts for lunch for hot dogs and mentioned to husband they smell a bit. Assurance given that they ok so we ate. I ate half of a hotdog and mentioned again i was concerned they are off and gave rest to my dog. My husband finished his two. Within an hour my husband started getting stomach cramps, sweating on forehead and then resulted in vomiting several times. I myself felt quite unwell in the stomach. Classic results of food poisoning. I opened the fridge and immediatly smelt off produce. I hadnt covered the frankfurts as was intending to cook for daughter when she arrived home. Fortunatly i didnt. I checked the franfurts and the odour was coming from them and as per photo i then noticed a creamy type of residue on them. The next morning i returned to store. After waiting approx ten minutes i finally got served at the front counter and received my money back. The coles lady said oh they do smell. I suggested she get someone to check other stock as imagine a child or elderly person eating them. She mentinod she would but as i left she just continued to serve customers without calling anyone to go check? A bit of a worry?. I akso asked how i make a complaint and she wasnt sure so she asked her nearby collegue - she didnt know either. She asked would i like the Manger and i said dont worry as i was already there waiting long enough. Anyway all this resulted in my husband being off sick today and as he is self employeed loss of money. He has contined to have cramping and only kept down water all day. Like i mentioned thank heavens a vunerable age group wasnt and hopefully wont be affected. I thought all goods were temperature tested when received how could this occur? Attached a photo.
coles mobile deal / staff giving wrong information
I purchased 3 sim 2 sim cards and $60 of credit to try the new coles mobile as I have always been a very loyal customer and seeing an offer advertised thought I would move myself and my children over to coles mobile. I spoke to the staff member at the customer service desk and we went through the deal and I specifially asked her if I get the 7GB of data with every top up or just the first top up. She assured me it was every top up as long as I purchased by a specific date which I did. Then I went home to activate my new sim and find out its only 2GB not 7GB. 7GB is for first top up only. I went back in to ask for a refund as I was given wrong info and was given a direct no! We cant do that! I said it was her fault for giving out the wrong info and as they are selling this product they should know the deal but I was told No again. No apology or anything. As a loyal coles customer I feel very let down. Please advise what I can do with the 3 sim cards and $60 of unwanted coles mobile credit I still have?
minced beef has bugs
On 30 Jan 2017, I bought a box of minced beef at Coles Central West. I cooked as soon as I got home which i stir-fired the minced beef for work tomorow ( i ate abit). The next day when i heated up again, i realized there were many bugs moving around my container. And the next day I got really sick.
these are some photos will be provided. ( I dont know why I cant post the video here).
staff member of coles
I went to Coles in gungallin tonight to buy cigarettes as I do most nights. When I went to the counter I asked for smokes when one of your new staff members asked for id i explained I had forgot it and had a picture of my liecence and passport. Your staff member said he could not serve me I then tried to explain I have been buying cigarettes for over two years and he said there was nothing could do which I had no problem with I then asked could I see the manger or is there anyone else there with a Tabco liecence because they would know me he replied saying no there was no manger and and no body else with a tabcoo liecence to serve me so I went home and got my passport and went back up and he had changed till and one the girls that always sees me served me because she knows I always go to your store and I have been for over two years. I approached your new staff member to ask why he said there was nobody else there to serve tabcoo when the girl was. He got really aggressive towards me when I asked and replied sayin "get over it" I left the store because he was raising his voice while other customers where in the store which made me feel embarrassed and threatened. I have been a loyal customer to your store. I never got agressive towards him and it is no way to treat a customer. I would feel uncomfortable going back to shop in your store again because of this.
sharp metal in chopped onions
Made a hot dog with Coles rolls, Coles sausages and Coles chopped onions when something sharp pierced my tongue. I stook it out my mouth and found it to a be a piece of metal like a staple but straighter. Not knowing which product it had come from I ate my meal, mixed with blood now. Still hungry I ate some more chopped onion and received another piercing for my trouble. The metal came from the onion.

staff ignoring the deli ticketing system, and discourteous behaviour
Shopped at Coles Jamison Deli this afternoon. Ticketing system showed #46. When I arrived the next ticket was #47, which I took. Sarah was serving, along with another staff member. When she finished with her customer, she ignored the ticket system and dealt with the nearest customer waiting to be served. I piped up I had ticket #47, and she indicated that the other staff member would serve me. The other staff member was tied up with a customer for an unusually long time, and Sarah was serving #49 when the other staff member - who was polite and helpful - was free to serve me.
I told him I wasn't happy that the ticket number system wasn't being followed and placed my order with him.
Sarah I've previously found to be polite but the body language says she doesn't want to be there, but has to be polite as part of her job.
Whether she doesn't want to be there is immaterial. She is in a customer service area. If people are taking tickets, the staff should be checking and asking for the next number. You either use the system or if customer numbers are low, you switch off the system and advise customers accordingly.
I was offended by the discourteous and dismissive attitude displayed by Sarah towards me, and after being served by the other staff member, went straight to the customer service area and spoke to Katie. Katie was listening and helpful, and followed up with me later in an aisle to let me know she had spoken to her superior, and asked if I could put this complaint in writing.
4 leaf salad
When I was eating my tea and came across a dryed and dead gum nut leaf with a little black thing attached to it. Smelt like a gum leaf too. Have photo proof of it if needed. Put me off my tea but still ate most of it. Sorry about the inconvenience thought I'd let you guys know though.
Get back to me on [protected] or [protected]@hotmail.com. Thankyou!
chicken thighs
I bought 1kg of Chicken Thigh fillets from the Bacchus Marsh store at the Deli on Sunday 29.01.2017 around 1.45pm. I went to use them last night for dinner (Tuesday 31.01.2017 and they were off, the whole lot of them had to be thrown away. You think that if you buy a product it wont be off within 2 days. I paid $10.31 for the chicken and never got to even cook any of it. I did not have my receipt as I never thought I would have a problem. If it helps to try and track the register I went through, I spent $49.83 which this had had a discount of $10.00 off for my flybys, cost should of been $59.83.
I shop at this store every week but refuse to shop there again as I work hard for my money and don't like to see it thrown in the bin. If I could get a refund or supply the 1 kg of Chicken I have thrown away that would be nice.

Tania White

The lady that collects trolleys at the Upper Coomera Coles on the cnr of Weir and Abraham Road is rude. We are a business in the same complex, we buy some products from Coles for our shop. We used one of the coles trolleys to put out the rubbish and returned it to the trolley bay, when she came into my shop and told us not to use 'HER' trolleys etc, I said hang on we buy from Coles and with that attitude maybe we should source our things elsewhere, she threw her hands in the air and said, fine don't shop at Coles and don't use my trolleys! I had customers in my shop at the time. I said maybe she should focus on collecting the trolleys instead of abusing us about the use of 'A' trolley that we returned to the assigned trolley collection bay.

a staff member at wattle grove store nsw
At approximately 8.45 am I was using the self registry when I was just finished swiping my items and I was about to pay, when this female staff member came over and started doing things to my screen I asked her was there a problem and she replied ( yes I was watching you and you never swiped your salmon ). I replied that I did and she continued to do thing to the machine looking to see if I had scanned it . I felt so embarrassed that I was. Being treated like a criminal and there was a lady standing next to me giving me strange looks like I had just stolen something I was shocked and horrified that I was being treated like this . When this staff member seen that it had been payed for she just left without even saying sorry it was her mistake, nothing just turned and walked away . I have never been more embarrassed in my life, live in the area and do all my shopping at Coles I now feel I can't show my face there as I have been treated like a criminal and put on show by this employee from Coles. I went home and could not stop crying for hours after thinking about it I decided to ring the complaint department and made a complaint about this employee. After talking to complaint department I rang the wattle grove store manager Glenn Obrian and informed him of what happened he told me that the employee was sorry about how she handle the situation and she was wrong for doing what she did and that he had talked to her about what she did wrong and that he was very sorry. He then offered me a $20 store gift voucher . I told him that I was too traumatised and upset and felt like I could never show my face down there again after being treated like a criminal and put on show for everyone to see . When my partner arrived home that night I informed him of what had happened and he said he would ring the store managers the next day .At approximately 10.40 the next day my partner spoke with Glenn and informed him how traumatised and upset I was but my partner said he didn't seem interested in how I was and that he had spoken to the employee And that was it . My partner asked him if the employee was wrong for doing what she did and he agreed and that he was very sorry but when he was asked for the employee to say sorry he said he can't do that, my partner then asked if he had offered a $20 store voucher and he would not answer that . My partner then asked for the employee name and his name so as to make a formal complaint and he would only give his name . My partner then went on to express how unhappy we were with how this was handle and that we were going to go and make a official complaint about the employee and himself about how disrespectful and embarrassing it was for me to be treated like this . I would like this matter to be addressed urgently as I am contemplating legal action if I don't hear back from Coles . You can contact me on [protected] or at 72 Riverview rd pleasure point 2172 NSW Donna Cassone
packing
I have just purchased ripe avocados and red papaya along with fish and socks and other supplies. I am not happy about the way my groceries were packed or the girl's attitude when I asked for items to be separated. I don't appreciate fish leaking onto my new socks. I don't appreciate having my fresh avocados and papaya arrive home damaged and squashed by the other heavy items being put on top of soft items. This happens so often (especially with eggs) and it is wasting my money because I have to throw the food out. I am fed up with the poor service and lack of respect for food and customers being treated with indifference. Please Coles...this is not good enough! I want to know what you are going to do about it and the food and socks that I am now having to throw out.
jasmine rice
There was little yellow worms in the jasmine rice we bought and the expiry date says its on 2019 .this is so embarrassing guys and I'm never ever buying rice from you and too good i saw it thoroughly and yesterday my husband made lunch and we ate it if something happened to us we surely let others know about your products so disappointing and i put it in to our rice cooker and saw some yellow creatures moving and I'm definitely taking further actions. In our country if a customer complain a complaint at least they give the product free but damn Australia you don't.
coles neutral bay store
Dates- October 2016-present
Description of incident; At the entry and at other sections of the Coles Supermarket in Neutral Bay there is sometimes a strong odour resembling sewage or a septic tank. It is overwhelming and almost bad enough to warrant not shopping at this store which is a shame as it is easier to navigate around and less busy than rival supermarket Woolworths in Cremorne
Resolution; I highly recommend an investigation to try and locate the cause/source of the smell and make efforts to prevent this from occurring in the future
employee smoking
Whilst on breaks, staff at St Clair Coles supermarket stand outside the Newsagents smoking.
To access the shoppping centre you have to walk past the smell of cigarettes. NOT HAPPY JAN.
This is not a good look for your company.
If employees must smoke then maybe they could access a space within the rooftop car parking for employees. Then the general public would not have to run the "gauntlet" of passive smoking 🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭
service
At about 3.30pm on Friday January 27 I went at the service desk at Coles coversham WA to ask about a pack of cigarettes and the lady refused to accept silver coins I had she only accepted Gold coins and said to me she cannot accept small silver coins because she can't count my small coins which I did not argue but I was very disappointed to hear that reason as Coles can give us the small coins in change why they cannot accept from a customer.
comfy bot nappies
Hi, I would just like to say that your "new and improved" comfy bot nappies are far from improved. I have used this brand since my baby was born and was using the 13-18kg size. The fit is terrible as they cut in around the leg/hip areas, most side tabs are sealed inside the waist band and once I have finished the old style ones I stocked up on i am changing to another brand.
Just about to write my own complaint and saw this one... I couldn't agree more! Can't get them to fit right and my little one has ended up with a rash over the sides of his hips. They are no where near as absorbent as the old ones either. I have used comfy bots with my first child (ever since the Coles gum nut babies nappies - which were amazing - were taken off the market) and my second child but won't be buying them anymore. I'll also be letting his Childcare know not to buy them when they run out of their old stock as they buy in bulk and use them in the centre.
coles express petrol stations
Coles keeps increasing the price of LPG without justification. All other petrol stations are 4-5 cents cheaper and when they eventually increased their LPG price Coles immediately increased their price by a further 4cents. It appears that they are deliberately trying to discourage LPG drivers from purchasing fuel by keeping the price higher than their competitors. All the good will that has been built up over recent years is fast disappearing!
coles brand comfy bots walker nappies - change
This is feed back regarding the new comfy bot nappy range that coles has changed.
Yes I now get 48 nappies instead of 44 but the quality has diminished considerably! I have a 1 and 2 year old and we go through nappies. Your new range is wider in the waste but narrower in the leg. The absorbency is pathetic and the leg guards leak. I have to change their nappies more frequently and those 4 extra nappies you have provided, well they mean nothing when the nappy quality is so poor. Not happy with the change. Do the right thing and boot your product team back to the drawing board, and change the comfy bot range back to the original. I will be changing brands in a heart beat once I have finished with this last lot of coles brand comfy bots unless things change.
