Life member and I don't appreciate being scammed. No one has money, to go to waste.
Life Member since 2009, I don't appreciate companies taking advantage of genuine people, who work hard for their money, a class action suite, need to be in place. It is not the members fault that they lied, We all need a refund at least from Scout.com because they took over Cooking Club of America. Business always try to make it convenient for themselves and not the customers. My name is Judia Polk and I am highly disappointed in both companies.
Desired outcome: Refund or Class Action Suite
Membership for life
I'm a life member of the club and they stop sending my benefits and never received a letter or a explanation, when they stopped. What I can do?
Desired outcome: Get my benefits back or my money

I paid $299.00 and never heard from them again
I was receiving items to try out, as part of being a member. I never
heard from them again. I wanted to get a recipe, they were part of membership, and I find out they no longer exist. it's suppose to be a lifetime
membership. unfortunately, that was back in 2009, I have nothing but pots
that are stamped cooking club of America, pots that were suppose to
last a lifetime yet they are stained.
Desired outcome: my membership fee
Lifetime membership/company disappeared!?
I have/was a lifetime member since 2005. As with many of you, I got a few little things upon membership, but nothing like the pots and pans some others are talking about. I think I got a set of measuring cups and an apron (woo hoo!) Anywhoo, life got complicated, I got married and had a couple of kids and I too didn't notice that they just went *poof!* I came across my card today and went to look them up thinking I just had to give them my most current info and boy was I surprised to find out that the website doesn't even exist anymore. I DEFINITELY feel like I didn't get my membership $ worth with only getting an apron and some measuring cups. I'd be in on a class action if one gets started since there wasn't even any notification(s) sent out that they were having difficulties etc. My name is Erika Larsson, Membership # is/was [protected] since 5/2005
Desired outcome: $$ back/classaction lawsuit
Lifetime membership
Lifetime Membership number [protected]. Since joining the Cooking Club of America, I have not received any communication from the Cooking Club of America for over 10 years. No products to sample, no recipes, nothing.
I am requesting a full refund of my Lifetime Membership dues as I feel this was a scam.
My new address is 750 Waxwing Dr., Mandeville, LA 70448
Desired outcome: Membership refund
Membership
I was a member since April 2, 2007 I signed up for free lifetime membership and then the club folded apparently from what I'm reading it went bankrupt nothing ever became of it and nobody ever notified us anything it would be nice if we would find out some details what happened I had paid $300 for the membership and we're supposed to get garden club how to use cooking club test products for a lifetime when they folded no one notified any other members anything it would've been nice if they would've contacted us by letter saying what happened
Not getting the benefits I paid for.
I am also a Premier Life Member of this club. I got the pots and pans with a couple of knives but those items sure don't add up to what I paid for the membership. I came across my membership card and realized that once I paid for the Premier status, nothing else happened. If per chance a lawsuit is filed, I would like to be included.
I love cooking and was hoping when I joined in 2010, that I would be able get a lot of information on cooking, recipes and test new products.
I have checked on this over the years and found out they folded. I want to get my money back from this so called club. Thank heaven I did not join any of the other clubs they sent mail on. My love of cooking allowed me to get scammed by these crooks.
Desired outcome: Join legal action
I to got premier pans etc they were awful pans I to have been wondering what happened to this club fully surprised they went under
I'm also a life member to Home Gardening Club
I first paid $226.00 for the first year which was 01/2010 I received my magazines and my hard covered books with no problem. Then I received gardening kit with a little rake, and shovel, pruning scissors, a kneeling mat. The next year I pay $226.00 for 2011, I keep receiving my magazines and hard covered books, and bigger pruning sheers. Unfortunately, I got to use it like four or five times and then it falls apart. So now I'm calling them and nothing. I try going on the website and I can't find it. I was pretty stressed, as I'm sitting here going through my drawers I found my life member card and went to see if maybe this page even exist but of coarse not. 2012 was paid $226.00 and 2013 $226.00 if I can get that refunded a total of $904.00 to me great. "Lifetime" membership
I became a lifetime member of the Cooking Club of America, started receiving the magazine, have an apron that says I am a lifetime member as well as a trivet that says so as well. I enjoyed the magazine as well as the items I was able to get through the club...one of which is a large electric skillet that I just love and am still using more than a decade later. But my efforts to find out why I stopped getting the magazine and the other club perks went with no response until I was finally forced to give up. It has been frustrating to be ignored, to have paid good money only to have it taken and all services stopped. It is wrong. It is unethical. It is theft.
I had been a Lifetime member of Cooking Club of America too! I never received any items to test after I became a lifetime member and only silly things before - a pasta measurer (those things with the holes in them to tell you how much spaghetti to cook) and a conversion chart. That was it. I am fed up with being taken advantage of!
I became a member & after awhile no magazines, no items to test. They took my money on false pretenses. If the company was smart, they would have advertisements in their magazine.
pots and pans
Really liked the club, loved the pots and pans, but one of my sauce pans are coming apart, wondering if its ok to use? Bummed their not here to ask. Wanted to buy some more. Count me in this class action suit. So can I use the pan or not? Really liked the magazines, too bad we dont get them anymore. What can we do? I guess this is what it is. I wish I knew the brand of the pots and pans, want to give them to my son who just got married! So long Cooking Club of America, it was nice while it lasted.
Lifetime Membership never received from Cooking Club of America.
I no longer have dates but check the site periodically and just noticed all the complaints. I thought it was maybe just me til I saw all of the others. I paid in full all at one time for a lifetime membership. Never got anything they promised and when I wrote and questioned them I did not receive a response. I hated to admit "I was taken" but I guess I was. I used to love that site but after some periodic illness I lost interest for awhile. I do not remember the date but it was sometime since 2004 when I moved into my new home and signed up for the lifetime offer.
Sorry I lost all that money as I am on a limited income and could have used that money elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Would love to get my money back since I got nothing in return!
Lifetime Member
After paying for a lifetime membership, they changed to scout.com, nothing came after that and now cooking club doesn't seem to exist...Waste of $$$
Member with no benefits
Hello, I've been a member since 2008, as stated on this now worthless gold "Life Member" card. I signed up to test products but I was never sent anything. I was told to check boxes for things I am interested in to be contacted for testing products but that never happened. When I signed up, it was at a time in my life when money was really tight. Now it's not as tight as then but now this type of experience has taught me a lesson...ask questions, look for product and services reviews before giving up money to deadbeats.
Desired outcome: Really, it’s over 10 years later
Zero contact with Cooking Club of America since we moved.
I am a LIFE MEMBER since 2005 or 2006. We moved and all other magazines and materials followed us to our new home, but NOTHING from the Cooking Club.
I tried their web site and [protected]. No response from either. How can I get in contact with them?
I am Marcia Franke

Desired outcome: Contact with Cooking Club of America
Life Member
I am a Life Member of Cooking Club of America since 08/2008. My Life Membership cost me quite a bit of money. What has happened to my membership that I am receiving nothing at all ? I have my membership card & it states I should be receiving a magazine, free cooking gear & product give aways, plus other benefits yet I am getting NOTHING! My member number is [protected]. Please explain - email me at bluemtmom.[protected]@gmail.com. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Explanation of why no longer receiving benefits or refund of membership paid.
Lifetime member with no further details after making several payments.
As with several of the other complaints, I too, became a lifetime member, in the early 2000 years. I can find my paperwork, if after all this time, I can recalling the exact year. In any case, I too, feel like I am a victim of a fraudulent company or they have considered my life, over! I received the pots and pans, some magazines, some other ‘goodies' and suddenly, "poof"... There all gone! I have a membership card, a tag for my key ring, and some odds and ends, what a flood hadn't taken from me. Now, I thought I would buy a set for my newlywed daughter, in 2010, and I thought it odd that I could not contact the company to place an order. I was dismayed as she really loved the set I had. There really should be a lawsuit of some type, if only to refund the costs of the membership and pots and pans. I will resubmit this complaint after I retrieve my paperwork as proof. Thank you! Sincerely, judith millard
Desired outcome: Refund of costs of membership and kitchen ware
membership
I paid for a lifetime membership years ago, but haven't received anything from them for quite a while. I did get notification that all the things I'd signed up for that was related to the company like Gardening Club and Handyman Club had all been transferred to Scout.com. Scout.com is a sports website that has nothing to do with the entities that I signed up for. The least the companies could have done is let us know that they are no longer in business and that our lifetime memberships mean nothing and perhaps offer something as compensation.
Desired outcome: Explanation of what happened and at least an apology.
Not receiving magazines, emails etc.
I would like to change my address but I do not want it on this sight. I became a lifetime member years ago. I have the spoon rest, the cutting board and the pots and pans. I truly enjoyed the magazines and would still like them. Even online works for me. Can anybody help me locate them? I do not know how to read my membership from the label I have saved but would be willing to send a photo if required.
Desired outcome: Would like some form of acknowledgement
Cooking Club of America Lifetime Membership
I have been a lifetime member since 2012. Now I can't access my account and have discovered that it is going to some site called Scout. I spent a lot of money becoming a member and purchasing pots and other kitchen items. I feel very let down and want to know if there is any way of getting my money back? I loved their cookbooks and all the recipes, it is disheartening to just be dropped without any explaination.
Desired outcome: Money back ($300.00)
