I had a eye exam at my eye doctor. I bought contacts from him. I sent all the things they wanted for the rebate.
They said that I did not send the sales receipt not true that’s the first thing you must send. They told me to resend my receipt which I did it’s been 3 month I tried to contact them they said that they have no info on my rebate. It is sad that they did not send my $45. 00 rebate that’s why I bought the contacts because that was a good rebate.
Cooper vision send my rebate let”s not play games why do you give rebates when you don’t follow thru with them. Still waiting for my rebate.

Rebates are nothing more than another marketing scam dreamed up by corporations to sucker the public into buying an already overpriced product with the promise of a fat rebate check or debit card. The trick is that they make the consumer jump through so many hoops that he or she will give up, not find the time in an already busy schedule, or not strictly comply with the rebate's many hoops through which to jump.
COOPERVISION IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THIS CON. I sent in all my required paperwork and even checked my status online at their site which states my rebate was approved. Will I get my $35 debit card? I doubt it. But I sent them an email stating that if I don't receive it within 2 weeks I will file a lawsuit against COOPERVISION for $5000 in small claims court for breach of contract, FRAUD, and wasting my time over $35. Unfortunately, lawsuits are the only things that seem to get corporations' attentions nowadays. And sometimes the corporate officers are too stupid to realize they should settle before it gets that far. Then the corporation usually gets spanked for more from a judge or a jury who is disgusted by the unreasonable way in which the corporation handled the matter.
Hi Annoyed Attorney. Please contact us at CC@CVLens.com so that we can address your issue immediately.
SCAM SCAM SCAM! This company hopes that you will forget about your rebate or tire of the hassle of trying to get it! I submitted my rebate and my son's rebate months ago. Checked online and saw that they were both listed as valid and would be mailed within 30 days. When 45 days passed, I called and emailed and got the run around. They have TERRIBLE customer service. Each person says they don't have the power to do anything because it's handle by a different dept. They just keep passing you along. I tried the email route and received an email stating a specific date I would receive the email by. That date has long passed as well. I called again yesterday and was promised a 3rd date. I told them that was unacceptable and why would I trust that they would follow through this time? They just kept saying there was nothing they could do. They were not at all apologetic or caring. I have a feeling not many of these rebates are ever given. I have reported them to the BBB and will keep at it until I get the rebates. I will also NEVER EVER EVER buy from this company again. Save yourself the headache. It's not at all worth it!
I sent in all the requested information on Thursday, Nov. 6. The letter had to be postmarked by the 10th. Today, the 14th I got an e-mail saying my request could not be honored due to invalid postmark date. This is absolutely ridiculous! They are trying to say that I had not mailed it by Monday the 10th. Tuesday was a holiday and the post office was not open. I received the e-mail at 11:32 am on Friday. If I had not mailed it by the 10th, the letter would not have even had time to get from Illinois to Texas let alone be processed already. Now I have to wait until Monday to call about this issue, but I doubt anything will be done. I am done with coopervision.
I'm in the same boat here. I uploaded all the required items a day after the eye exam. Then got an email 10 days later from coopervision stating:
Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s):
Missing Eye Exam Date
Purchase date not within the allowed date range after the eye exam
Eye exam receipt was not received
To resubmit for your rebate, please mail all missing material to:

This is a SCAM. Don't know if there will be enough complaints to warrant a class action lawsuit, but small claims might be the way to go for this one.
It's a scam sent in info certified mail received two emails said they receive my info called today to see where was my visa card Rep said they didn't receive paperwork and to callback in a few days.never again will iI waste my money with them. So piss off.
CooperVision's Rebate Offer is a Huge Scam! I also ordered a year's supply of contacts. I very carefully submitted all of the requested information via scanner and received verification of valid entry within 2 weeks. As of July 26th, 2015, they said 4-6 weeks. It has now been 9 weeks and I have not received my rebate of $50.00. I have chatted online 4 times with a representative. I have spoken with a supervisor. One person said they escalated my claim to a special service department and that they also validated and would I please wait another 4-6 weeks...for a total of 15 weeks. I have a family of 5 and all of us wear contacts. Guess what, we will NEVER buy from Cooper Vision ever again. Bad company, Bad business, I will notify my eye doctor of this as well. I will never get my rebate, but they will never get another dime from me.
This has happened to me as well. I mailed in the information and have faxed the information twice. I have spoken with three different representativestyles that all same the same with three different names. I have all my names. Faxes with the confirmation forms. I have spoken to my cousin who is an attorney. He said it was a scam, but if I wanted to pursue the issue here would help me out. I only tried the product because it offered a rebate. Otherwise I would have continued to support B&L.
Sincerely,
Carolyn C Smith
I have been filing my claim for weeks now. They seem not to understand how to read the information I have mailed and faxed them and scanned them. I should have my $65 dollar rebate coming in the next two weeks. They informed me it was valid on the 20th and it takes 30 days to complete. They told me if I downloaded the app I could get another $10. Guess what! I did that and when I submitted the rebate. They told me I was a duplicate name and that the $10 wasn't valid. This is such a pain. I wish I could switch contact brands but lucky me. I have hard to fit eyes and its the only that work for me. I guess I could go back to glasses only!
I have never received a rebate from this company without contacting them at least 2 or 3 times. I did eventually get all of my rebates, however it took a lot of time on my part and diligence. The excuses for denial were many including: the receipt was too small and it did not scan properly, can't read the date on the receipt, the form was for the wrong time frame, we sent it out (in this case they did revoke the one they supposedly sent out, and then sent another) then my favorite "I can see that you did everything right, I just don't know why it has not gone through". Yes, I do believe they are hoping you will forget about it. I think we will try another company for contacts. The first couple of rebate denials made me think I just couldn't get it right. But it is just not that hard to do it right. I have not had this issue with other rebates, so it must be them and not me.
Well, it has been several months now. I have mailed, and faxed my information three times. It really isn't about the rebate any longer. It's more about the character and scuples this company doesn't have. I guess this is the only way, that Coopervision would get any business. I have contacted BBB and an attorney. I told him how everyone had been through this as well. He said that Coopervision would probably be sued by a class action lawsuit claim. I just want them to get what they deserve. People time is valuable, they wasted a lot of mine.
I sent all my info in correctly and rebate was mailed on a 50 Visa card but the card is not working and I call in but it does not recognize the numbers on the card or the tracking number. It's Saturday and they are supposed to be open a few hours but noone will answer.
For anyone this happens to, call [protected]. They will give you some excuse about this being a temporary problem, but don't believe it. Flip the [censor] out and demand to speak to a supervisor, and the problem will suddenly go away. Don't let them feed you excuses- if you keep on it, you can get your rebate.
I'm going through the same thing. Tried to upload all required pics and paperwork 90 days ago. Their site was not working and would not take the uploads. Called and got a customer service rep. I faxed him all info and he told me he would push it through and gave me 2 tracking numbers. Now, they are saying they never received anything from me. I emailed them and it bounced back as undelivered. Now today, I spent 30 minutes on chat. Total waste of time. I do not think I will ever buy Cooper products again for me and my family. A rebate should not be this difficult. I'm convinced they make it difficult on purpose, hoping customers will forget they filed and they don't pay.

I received my $50 rebate card and doesn't work as well. I've done everything to try and activate and the site and number to call doesn't recognize the numbers from my card. :( What kind of rebate is that?
Amazing. The same thing happened to me, and the customer service rep told me that this activation problem is only happening today (11/17/17). When I said there are tons of reviews of people having the same problem going back years, he started lecturing me about how I shouldn't believe everything I read online.
I sent everything in only for them to state that I didn't send end pieces from the boxes of contacts! Keep going in circles..very frustrating 😧 Chose these contacts for the rebate & seemed to be a perfect fit for my sons first pair of contacts.. Acuvue or B&L would of been a better choice its what I wear. . Not good business tactics😤
I had the same thing last year. It was for 50-bucks. I didn't even bother wasting to follow-up. I think that's what they are hoping will happen. So this year... I just submitted mine through the CooperVision App. I was very careful to follow every step. The documents uploaded correctly on my end. Now I've received notice they didn't get them. I emailed asking if they ever honor online submission. So now, they want me to mail them everything. I believe it is a scam, but I'm going to try to follow every step and see where this takes me. The contacts are fine, but if there is a comparable alternate brand...I think next year I will opt for those even if I have to pay more. This is a bad way for a company to treat customers.
Recently I got a rebate from purchasing 2 boxes of Biofinty contact lens. It came as a prepaid Visa card of $60. I tried to activate the card with the phone number on the phone but was told they don't have such record and told me to try again. I did without success. I wanted to talk to customer service but there was no such option or phone number provided. How can this be called a rebate! What a con!
The same thing happened to me, and the customer service rep told me that this activation problem is only happening today (11/17/17). It's a scam.
I got my rebate card and it won't work. When you call there is no option for an agent. You have to push #3 for lost or stolen card to speak with someone. SCAM!
After I filed the complaint here, I was told by the board somebody will contact me in the week. A few days later, I received an email stating my complaint could not be delivered to CooperVision in the next 5 days, fatal error. What is this !
I received a rebate card last week. The card does not work. I also cannot get through to the activation line as it is constantly giving me a busy signal. This is terrible. Please make this right.
Cooper Vision Rebate is a complete scam! BIG SIZED SCAM SCAM SCAM !
I submited my rebate online and this is what I received : why should I send you details again through mail?
So that you guys take more time to tell me the same thing -SCAM !

COOPER VISION REBATE SCAM - DONT FALL FOR IT!
i have tried 6 TIMES now to file my Rebate online so that i will have PROOF that it was submitted. This has been a COMPLETE waste of my SATURDAY MORNING! tried the ONLINE chat option.. BOOTED me OUT AGAIN! SCAM SCAM SCAM
Worthless Customer Service. Had so many problems last year that I thought I would do everything right away. Downloaded the app and the rebate button brings you to a NON-RESPONSIVE desktop site that is very difficult to fill out. I pushed through and completed EVERYTHING, then when I went to upload the photo of my receipt and end panels, it says the file type is not supported. I directly picked the photo from my iphone Camera Roll. That is a JPG! How can it not support a photo from your phone when it asks you to take a picture and submit it through an app? The online chat was TERRIBLE. Got kicked out the first time and then after explaining everything, I got these responses: "Courtney, for any information you will need send to us have to be by mail." And then after more explanation on my part, asking what to do, I got this: "Courtney, You need to submit for a rebate or resubmit for information?" What does that even mean? Finally i got a copy and paste response that says "
I am sorry for all the inconvenience this process may have caused you. For further assistance you will need to contact us with customer sevice at: [protected]." Just putting those numbers out there in case anyone is looking for them.
So disappointed. One of the worst rebate programs. I will never order a years supply again. I just had an exam the end of November 2016 and purchased the contacts the first part of December 2016. Submitted all the required information to received a "Valid purchase receipt was not received, Invalid Postmark Date" response. I know I submitted all the required info because I doubled check before hitting the submit button. BUYER BE AWARE. Do not purchase because it sounds like a good deal. The aggrevation of submitting the information for the rebate is not worth the hassel to only be denied.
I would like to voice my displeasure with your company. I have used coopervision and been a customer for years and have never been treated so poorly and had to jump through hoops like this before. I submitted my rebate with all of the necessary paperwork and waited three weeks to receive any news (which was not a problem). I then received an email saying my rebate was rejected for not sending the proper paperwork despite my confirming with my eye doctor and lens store that I indeed sent all of the correct paperwork so as I did not call unnecessarily to your company if I was wrong. After confirming I sent the proper paperwork I called hoping to easily fix the issue, only to be met with menu after menu after menu which seemed to be there to hopefully just discourage people from speaking with someone to get their rebate that your company promised. After my 3rd call and more menus I finally spoke to a representative who I had hoped would have been helpful and see the frustration as you're all people too. Instead I was met with a frankly disrespectful agent who seemed more interested in arguing with me than looking into the issue. After he was done arguing with me I asked that he please just take a look, and low and behold within seconds was not only able to find my record but that I had in fact submitted everything properly. He smugly claimed that because my receipts were "Hard to read electronically" that the automated system simply rejected the claim. I asked why was there no fail safe for situations like this and many others likely lost their rebate despite following all of the instructions. I was told to "calm down" as he continued to argue that it was the automated system that failed. I understand it isn't his direct fault for what occurred but I am extremely disappointed that your company boasts rebates and (seemingly purposefully at this point) created a system to make it hard if not impossible for people to claim them. On top of it all I asked for a confirmation email to ensure this time I would receive my rebate and I was told just "No, " and told my card will be in the mail in 4-6 weeks. 4-6 weeks on top of all of the waiting I have already done, the trouble I went through today for the $50 that your company promised is an "Easy Rebate" for choosing you. That's poor customer service without a doubt and although I am certain I will not hear anything back and this email will be deleted without reading because that's what your company has shown to me, and at this point without some sort of answers for what happened I certainly will never buy from you again. My hope is that when I post my experience everywhere I can think of, others see what happened to me and realize they were scammed too and come forward to get the money they deserved for shopping with your company. To cap it all off, after I was told it was approved I checked online and it only says pending! NEVER AGAIN
All my paperwork states I will receive a rebate of $80. Today I received a rebate card for $50 with not explanation of where my other $30 are. Why was it changed? Why was I not notified?
They should just offer customers a better price on product, and not waste everyone's time with a complex rebate program.
I'm having the same issue! I submitted everything online for a CooperVision rebate within a week of purchasing my contact lenses. I have screenshots of every single step of the process--including my documents uploaded successfully to their system. I got a generic email reply from customer service that was canned that said they needed more information. They basically asked me to resend everything by mail. I'm not doing that. I'm not wasting a stamp, forfeiting my original documents, or waiting over another 8 weeks. I am beyond pissed off, because I also believe this to be a scam. I know so many people aren't as thorough as I am and probably didn't document or follow up. I will be talking to my eye doctor about this. If a class action suit happens, I'm in.
I actually received my rebate card in the mail but cannot activate it. I tried 3 or 4 times, being careful to enter the correct information and was told by the recording that there was an error. When I tried to call again to talk to someone, I got a recording that they were unable to activate my card, and it hung up without ever even going to the original menu options. There seems to be no other way to contact the company than through this sham phone number that hangs up on me. I'm not going to give up on this because I paid an outrageous price for my contacts, counting on this rebate. I did see an email address in these comments that I'm going to try: CC@CVLens.com
Also found this phone number: [protected]
The customer service representative fed me some nonsense about the system being down and trying again in 2-4 hours. I flipped out and was able to speak to a supervisor who fed me the same [censor] and claims this problem is only happening today, and their department is not responsible, but there is no way for me to directly contact the responsible department. When I informed him that there are complaints going back months online about people not being able to activate their cards, he started lecturing me about how you can't believe everything you read online- as if people have nothing better to do with their time than make up fake bad reviews on contact rebates.
It seems like plenty of people have had problems getting their rebate, so I'm just piling on. I had my eye exam in Nov 2017, purchased a year's worth of contacts in Dec, and submitted my rebate online on 1/5/18. For 8+ weeks their website simply said my rebate was being processed. I then contacted them and was then told all uploaded docs had been lost! Amazing! I have now resubmitted all docs at least 3 times and still get errors saying everything is missing. I chatted with a rep this morning and she said just my receipts were missing. I resubmitted while she was still in the chat and asked her to confirm. She let me know it would be 5 days before she could check. What a crappy system they have. It's amazing how it only takes 20sec for them to take your money and months for them to get money back to you. If your eye doctor has other contact options other then Coopervision, I would take them. It's unlikely you will ever see your rebate from Coopervision.
I also have been trying for weeks to submit my claim. I was told I would be receiving $130 back after buying a years worth of contacts. Every time I try and submit it online it tells me there was an error in processing my claim and to try again later. I was just going to try and mail everything in but there is no address on the paperwork as to where I should send everything. So, I try calling and one of the options on the line is to talk to someone about not being able to submit online. Then I just wait and wait and I never have been able to talk to anyone. So frustrating!
This is CooperVision replying. We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with our rebate program and apologize for the delay in responding to your complaint. We want to help. Can you please email us at info@coopervision.com with your name or rebate reference number if you have it. We'll be able to help you with submitting your rebate claim. If you provide us with your rebate offer code, we'll be able to provide you with the correct address for a mail-in claim.
I have been trying since January to get my rebate. I uploaded everything that was required and they keep sending me emails saying that the "end panels are missing". Not only have they never been missing but I have re-sent them several times and every time I do I get another bs email claiming they're still missing. A class action lawsuit is warranted against this scam company and I'm contacting a lawyer for a small claims court lawsuit as well.
Complete waste of time and agree with all other comments that this is nothing but a HUGE SCAM!
Message received:
Your rebate requires attention and will not be reviewed until the necessary changes have been applied.
Please check your rebate information carefully and if necessary, re-submit an updated purchase document.
LIES - everything was submitted properly with all receipts, circled information, exactly as requested.
This is very unfortunate especially since I could have purchased the contacts online for a cheaper price. Fooled once but will not be buying their BS products again any time soon. And it sounds like even if I wasted anymore time on trying to pursue this farce it will only lead to receiving an invalid rebate card. Just a shame that a company can get away with but hopefully if enough people heed the warning their scam will become a thing of the past. I know I will be spreading the word!

Latest scam is to have you call a validation number on the back of the card they send you. There is no number on the back of the card. Called all the numbers shown above and no one answers or they are closed for the night (it's 1 p.m. in Texas). Going to require my optometrist give me the rebate up front from now on and they can go through the hassle of getting the rebate. What a joke.
Can you please email us at info@coopervision.com with your name or rebate reference number if you have it. We'll be able to help you with validating your prepaid debit card for you. We want to help.
I have spent 15 hours over 3 months attempting to get my rebate. I will never use CooperVision products again due to this.
This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
CooperVision's rebate program is clearly a scam. They made me jump through many hoops and provide various additional documentation when I originally submitted my claim--which, although irritating and time-consuming, I did. Now they claim they have no record of my ever submitting a claim! I am planning to contact my optometrist to let them know and request that they not stock CooperVision products or at least warn their customers not to expect rebates to be honored. I encourage others to do the same.
I am just starting the process and getting the stall of documents not right or missing. My eye doctor's office refuses to acknowledge this is a scam.
Never will buy their products don't trust them. Thinking of ditching my eye doctor too.
