I purchase this vehicle from the Elk River Sublot and upon delivery found out that the vehicle had the catalytic converters cut out which is against selling a vehicle without the converters , even as is. This is a Federal and State law. The manager, Kayla, told me in mails that I would receive a full refund upon delivering the vehicle back to the sublot. I did this at my expense and have danced around for the last week and a half awaiting my refund. They want there money within 24 hours but play games giving it back.

Car damaged in their care
My car was collected for assessment with the insurance and had the wing mirror knocked off due to careless driving. The car was then repaired for the damage caused in the accident and not the wing mirror as this was caused by Copart. This was then returned to me with the wing mirror still damaged. Copart have offered me £50 and now reluctantly £100 when the quotes we have obtained are £310.86.
I am struggling to understand why I should pay the additional £210.86 for damage caused with Copart.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate the full quote paid.

I am a Chevrolet Dealer in Yerington Nevada. Wild West Chevrolet. I purchased this lot on line for $9100 and according to your fee schedule should have been charged $775 buy fee a $75 gate fee a $129 virtual fee and a $10 doc fee for a total of $ 10,089. I was charged $11206.61. I do not pay tax on wholesale units and was charged $805.11 sales tax. You have all my Dealer info on file. I was also charged a fee difference of $312.50 over your posted fee's. Accordingly I was charged $1117.61 in excess. I also was not given the title when my driver picked up the unit and still have not received the title. I emailed your company several times with no reply. Before I take further action please have the courtesy of an explanation for these charges, send me a title and refund the difference.

I have been trying to get a refund on my deposit with Copart since June 22, 2022. On that date I sent an email requesting that I receive a refund and was told that since I am an international member the funds can only be wired. On June 24,2022 I requested a status update via email on the transfer with no reply from the company. On July 12, 2022, I requested that any checks made out to me be cancelled and that a wire be sent as per their policy. I made this request because I was told by a Copart employee that a check was made out to me and sent to a location where I am not physically located. I have communicated with the company via telephone several times since then with no refund over 2 months later. Today, September 7, 2022, I have attempted to contact the Accounts Receivables department via phone several times with no success and I sent an email requesting that a check be made out to me, Cecil Minnis, since the company is obviously having an issue wiring the funds.
In fact, I have tried filing a complaint with the company about a separate matter where they referred a towing a company to me that could not tow my vehicle in a timely manner due to internal policies. This cost me money in storage fees which was paid to Copart. The service regarding my concerns was poor and unsympathetic similar to the way it is now. To add insult to injury I was told that as it pertains to my situation of being charge storage fees by contracting the towing company referred to me by Copart " that it is what is" by the manager at the Fort Pierce location. Now I have a challenge receiving my refund. It was easy for me to pay for a vehicle on the company's website by simply using a credit card. They had no problem charging my card for their storage fees, but now there's a problem sending my refund.
All in all, the service is poor and rude at times, and has inconvenienced me and cost me money. Moreover, getting in contact with the AR department is much too difficult.
I share you the same experience… we need a lawyer against this Copart Gang!

I have registered from Armenia, upon registration Copart asked me for tax certificate, I have requested from the RA State Revenue Committee the certificate in English and they send me electronically the original tax certificate in English, now member services request me to submit Armenian version of the certificate, which is not available in this case since the certificate was originally issued in English, due to this illegal request I am unable to bid. Each time they reject my documents with different reason, it seems that they do that intentionally or they do not process required legal knowledge. You can review my account and see how many times they rejected my documents with different reasons. The important thing is that I have asked one to the chat agents to review my documents and then I shall pay membership fee, and they confirmed that all my documents are of and I can proceed with the payment, now they request additional documents.
I confirm that their request is illegal and each day that I cannot bid due to their illegal request make me suffer losses.
Desired outcome: Activate my membership so that I can place bids on online auctions.
2016 CHEVY SILVERADO 1500 LT
On 11 Aug 2022 i purchased a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT from Copart located in Harrisburg PA. The auction was listed as run and drive auction, when i received the vehicle it is not in running or driving condition, the wiring harness has been cut to the battery terminals so there is no way to start the vehicle to verify it runs and the damage to the front end does not allow the wheels to be turned to steer the vehicle in its current condition.
Desired outcome: I would like my expenses refunded and the vehicle returned to Copart at no expense to me due to this false advertisement.

False advertisement.
I purchased a car from copart (volksvagon polo) and the advertisement says "Run and Drive" and no other fault was mentioned.
I went to pick the car up from Rochford but that car doesn't drive at all. The vard manager had it jump started but it still doesn't move and had a mechanical fault in it (which was not mentioned in the description).
I had a chat with the vard manager about the proceedings and he agreed that the car is wrongly advertised and I will be refunded in 3 weeks time. Its been 6 weeks and I have been chasing up with copart but no reply. The vard customer support team keeps on sending my case to managers who never gets back to me.
Desired outcome: I need a full refund.

Regarding my vehicle which was collected by coapart for inspection , it was written off and I chose to retain my vehicle as damage was light and only on the right side .. on the day of collection the man collecting took photos of my vehicle also cctv at my adress clearly shows my wing mirror In normal condition while being taken away
On the 4th of may 2022 my vehicle was returned to me but with extra damage the wing mirror on the left side had been smashed off also the dash is now showing that all left side airbags have a malfunction, which was not the case when my vehicle was taken away
I want this issue resolved as a wing mirror will cost me atleast 300 pound to replace
I will be forwarding pics before and after to my insurance company if this issue is not resolved
Please look at photos taken before and after from your colleges who collected and dropped back off vehicle

Buying a car
I bought a car from a Copart auction on 4/21/22 that in the listing said "run and drive". In the definition they give on the site that means that "the car would start, go into gear and move forward under it's own power". The car that I bought is a 2003 Mini Cooper that is front wheel drive. The car looks to have had an accident that completely damaged the front drivers front suspension to the point the CV shaft is broken off in the transmission. Being this car has what is called an open differential there is 0 possibility that this car ever "moved forward under it's own power" ever while Copart had it. I feel this is a gross material misrepresentation of the car. I have contacted the Copart yard in Hayward where the car was bought and the manager there was no help. I then contacted the regional manager and he was also no help. I was given 0 time in the yard to inspect the car and no chance to do so at the time of once the car was loaded on the trailer with a huge tractor with fork smashing the bottom! I was charged 75.00 for a gate pass that didn't get me into the yard to look at the car only to be able to give the guy with the tractor a piece of paper.
This company is a scam save your money! between the fees and charges they have the cars aren't worth the hassle.

I bought a $9000 crashed Porsche that was a "run and drive". I couldnt inspect it because the lot in New Jersey will not allow on-site inspections. The front frame was very damaged and the radiator was pushed into the engine. There was NO WAY the engine started at the Copart yard. They are very shady.

Appoint was set at 12 and wasn't sent until hrs later. Staff is in no rush to help customers and and no way of telling who is working what due to no one addressing any standing at counter for service.
Copart Advertised CAT B car as Cat N car
I bought a convertible BMW in MID February , 2022 from Copart Wolverhampton,UK .COPART listed the car as CAT N . I repaired the car and when I tried to list in on Autotrader to resale it auto trader wont allow me citing security issues . When I did a HPI check on the cat it came as CAT B, scrapped . I am reporting this to Copart hoping that they will take full responsibility and not hide under their unfair terms of condition because I plan to refer this to the UK trading standard.
Desired outcome: Refund my money and all expense spent to fix the car. Cat B is breaker

First of all I want to complain to the corporation because of the customer service I got a car and I was trying to pick it up waited for an hour outside and the employes where there playing cards not doing nothing at all while the suppose to be manager Greg Mainello was just relaxing at the office complain at the office and they started to give me attitude so an argue start because they told me will not give me the car anymore , I guess Copart corporation is only paying people there to play cards and paying salaries to general manager to be watching how they play cards on working hours . And getting the General manager eat like a pig in working hours .

Tried to complain and they told me to email the complaint over to their new complaint email service... They lied through their teeth when the finally got back to me after various phone calls to them for five days in a row. Do not trust this company.
