Bought a Toyota Prius from peterlee went there to pick it up from Essex left 3am got there 8am when the car was bought out to me all 4 tyres were pierced they had clear marks of like a screw driver pushed through the tyres so they were all flat but when I bought it in the pictures there was nothing wrong with the tyres they were all inflated anyway so I went in and told a member of staff what's going on and I was told that they had the car for a year and the pictures could be from then and that they can't do nothing, I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't willing to speak to me so he sent his member of stuff who told me the same thing that it's in there terms and condition that you should view the car before you buy and that they can't do nothing so I left and started to take the wheels off to put new ones on while I'm doing this the manager came out and told me that I can't change the wheels on the premises and told me to take the car outside and do it, which was totally unbelievable, so they sell me a car not discribed and when I go to change the wheels they tell me to do it out side the premises, I understand customer are not allowed to fix cars on premises but Selling a car with dead battery 4 tyres flat they should have been more understanding It wasn't like I was changing the door or something I was changing the wheels which could happened to any body so they expect everyone who comes to copart has a puncture to change a wheel outside there premises, so they picked up my car and put it outside there gates i couldn't believe it the manager said if I don't take the car outside the gates that he will get the car picked up put it back in the yard and charge me storage fee I know this is hard to believe what your reading but this is what happened I am not trying to make this look good this is exactly what happened it's shocking and it's disgusting I never been treated this bad, I will never buy from peterlee again they are horrible people who treat there customers like animals and sell vehicles that are not described, I know this won't get no where in copart but at least it gives customer a insight of how peterlee branch treat there customer. And I did point out the members pledge to the branch manager when he come out to tell me to take the car outside which the reply to that was ( member pledge is not important it's our terms and condition that matter ) so I'm confused what is members pledge for when copart doesn't recognise it.

good will on first vehicle
I won a vehicle 2 weeks ago, at a completely different price as my phone froze and when clicking on the bid button on my phone, nothing registered and completely froze, once i move all the apps and went back on it i got an email saying you won the vehicle which was good news but when looking at the final price it had gone for a lot more than what i initially bided.
i then phoned copra sandtoft and they kept saying managers not in and i even sent an email and unto today i haven't received an email back from dean parkinson.
However, the following monday i rang and apparently there was someone else in manager wise and they passed the message onto her. about 5 hours later i rang back and they said we cannot do you the good will as you have changed your password. Am sorry but this doesn't make sense at all you have sent me email telling me to change my password and even if i do its a good thing as its for my own safety.
my main concern is why is this manager using this as an excuse when i have other friends that have been in same situation as me and they've been let off for the first time. i've bought many different cars and never been in this situation, so i would appreciate if this can be taken out of my account. my account number is 690381 and my name is sefin ali
misrepresentation / false advertising
Bought a car at an auction from Copart on 19/07/2017 which was advertised as "run and drive" and the seller was "financier" as the car was repossessed.
Upon receiving the car, I found the car won't crank, let alone drive. So I got in touch with Copart, Bristol, who pointed to clause 8.1 whereby, buyer is responsible for checking the condition of the car. Clause 8.1 also claims that Copart check the car when they arrive prior to adverting under appropriate category.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the car had a black box installed by the financier which stopped the car from cranking (i.e. no engine movement whatsoever). This brings me to my question; how did Copart check the car for "run and drive" criteria when the engine was disabled and won't start until the black box was removed.
This is a clear cut case of fraud and misrepresentation. I have requested appropriate compensation. If this does not go through, I am contemplating legal action.
Volkswagen sharan sold with 75000 miles actually done 309000
i purchased a Volkswagen Sharan from copart York, it was described as 75000 miles and when actually received the car it turns out it has done 309000 miles and also has previous damage, which was not in description .
I phoned and complained to York branch and was told by email that its not their problem .yet on most cars they sell it clearly states if there is a milage discrepancy or previous repair .
they say its in their terms all cars are sold as is .
so perhaps we should get a petition on face book or ask trading standards to investigate, as if I sell a clocked car its illegal under uk law, yet they appear to be able too, with out having to worry about the law .
or perhaps trading standards should start looking into this, as by there terms and conditions they are circumventing the uk law .
Selling our family call with permission
Copart sold our car with out permission, they have offered £300 and sent a cheuque but i didnt agree now they will not take my calls
Please please do u know how u go above them
collection service
What a company. dead phone lines after holding for 10 min plus. Promises to return calls. Failure to do the simplest of tasks.
Been trying to get scrap car collected for over three days.
If you want a laugh try ringing there YORK branch and listen to the legendary service claim then wait until an american lady says this extension is not in use.. pause then bye!
WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. You have been warned
DONT USE SELL your JAMJAR
Van scam
Hello every one be careful what you buy from copart they are very very tricky people I once bought a van from them after i paid they bought it out side for me i looked around it and when i opened the bonnet i realized that there is half of engine missing some parts were in the back it was just mass but they did not mention it in listing nor did they take a photo of the engine bay when i went to tell them about it they sad i should checked before buying how can you check around all salvage yards and check all vehicles that you might win and they are all over the country
wrong advertising
This is an online auction site which I have used before without any issues but on the 27th of January I bid for a Citroen Xsara Picasso which was advertise as a diesel when it was delivered on the 4th February I discovered it was petrol . I have telephoned Copart many times to inform them that it was not the car I wanted I would not have paid the price I did for a petrol car, each time they said the manager would call me back and I am still waiting . I have been in touch with consumer rights and they have informed me I am entitled to my money back as it was false advertising .
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Those that like to purchase cars online! Please take note of Copart Salvage Auctions. They are scammers. There are so many victims across the world including myself.
what scumbag company copart is. they have more terms and conditions than the English dictonary has words. every time there at fault it will still cost you £500 . you have been warned... they say a picture never lies.. trust me they do . on descriptions read between the lines or it will cost you . they bid on the cars themselves to run you up.
Fraud
Hi
I am a car dealer mainly dealing with salvage cars (CoPart Chester UK). Contrary to my initial impressions, Copart has made me suffer a severe loss recently.
Once I had won a bid on my choice of car (Honda Civic), I was congratulated about how I had also won a bid on a certain Ford Focus. And that now I had to pay a whopping £4200 for it! A car which I had absolutely not even viewed once, let alone putting it in my watchlist, and now I was to pay for it! I was disappointed with this online scam, and upon contacting customer services and talking to a manager, they insisted I had to pay up a minimum of £400 as a fine.
I am extremely dumbfounded at how such a well established company can possibly have such an unreliable online system. This tactic is worse than what crooks do. Why must I pay for a car I never bid for? I find this to be a load of crap, for now, my account has been frozen and I cannot even claim the Honda Civic that I actually won and paid for.

Broken part
I bought a Dodge Ram through Copart, it was supposed to Run and Drive, but unfortunately they lift all cars with the same forklift! After fork-lifting the truck did no longer drive, they broke the steering with the fork, and of course they refused to admit their responsibility! Forklift is perfect to repair undercarriage, exhaust pipes steerings and gas-tanks!
misrepresentation
This car auction gave false online information for the car and after the sale I was told that according to their Terms and Conditions neither the auction or the seller (in this case Royal Sun & Alliance) are responsible for the description of the cars they selling. This is unbelievable for 21th century Britain. So if you have to deal with this company be...
