Mixed Experiences with Cotton:On
As a potential customer looking to shop at Cotton:On, it's important to consider the mixed experiences shared by other customers. While some have praised the quality of the products and fast delivery, others have faced challenges with customer service, returns, and product quality. It seems that there are issues with sizing, delivery delays, and difficulties in obtaining refunds. Before making a purchase, it's advisable to carefully review the feedback and weigh the pros and cons to make an informed decision.
Loveeee this website
Products are true as description, prices are a little high to me but when you find a coupon and combine it with their sales, it's shopping heaven.
I've ordered from them multiple times and only had one issue (one of my items didn't arrive) but when I called customer service everything was sorted out quickly and easily.
Brilliant site. Love it!
Cotton On Australia is the best site for buying cheap gear. I have bought from them multiple times and as yet never had a problem. I have been very happy with the items i have bought, they have kept me up to date with the delivery via tracking numbers and emails, postage has been very quick and well packaged and I will continue to visit their site regularly. Check it out especially if your in Australia.

Genuinely good site
I never put reviews on things but was shocked to see how low the reviews on were here so I had to! Cotton on is a mainly Aussie/NZ brand that sells genuinely good clothing. Ive shopped here for 5+ years since I live in NZ so its always been around. Now I shop in store and online, never had a problem with clothing, quality and customer service on emails is amazing for any help. cotton.on is legit and trustworthy!
Awesome Service!
I did a big order of clothes with cotton on during level 4 lockdown and my parcel was delivered so quick! One of the pants I purchased was the lounge pants for home. I did not try them on until 2 days later, come to find a split in the right pant leg. I spoke to an online person name Sammy who cleared the problem quick and said she had made a new order for a new pair of lounge pants to be sent out. This was all on Thursday16/09/21 and I just received the package consisting of the new pants today (Monday 20/09/21). I am so impressed and so grateful!
Thank you!
Never received shipment OR refunded
I placed an order in October that I NEVER received and still have not received a refund OR any correspondence since my last email on 11/29 regarding the fact that my card STILL hasn’t been refunded. I tried to be patient and get this resolved before leaving a review but this is the WORST customer service I’ve experienced and hope to save others the hassle, time and money. I have received no updates whatsoever and I’ve had to reach out to them via email multiple times to try to figure out what’s going on with this order, I’ve been told multiple things, including 1. my items were shipped and returned to sender, 2. that they would be shipped again… not once but twice, and then 3. finally weeks later that they were out of stock and would refund my card in 1-5 business days in which it still hasn’t been refunded as of today 12/4…this was on 11/22. Two of the times I reached out for an update I had absolutely NO response whatsoever including trying to find out when my card would be refunded, this was on 11/29. Terrible business and completely unacceptable. **DO NOT SHOP HERE**
Recommendation: DO NOT SHOP HERE
Bittersweet Experience with Cotton:On - Great Clothes but Frustrating Return Process
I recently had to return a purchase from Cotton:On and although the process wasn't too difficult, I did experience a bit of frustration. On the positive side, they did provide a return label for free which saved me a trip to the post office. However, when I received my refund, I noticed that it was less than the amount of the items I returned. Adding insult to injury, the refund also did not include the taxes that I had paid on the merchandise.
In an attempt to get to the bottom of this, I reached out to their customer service team and requested a breakdown of my return and refund details. I had hoped that this would be a standard procedure, but unfortunately, I was met with resistance. Cotton:On refused to provide me with the information that I had requested and instead just threw a random $1.89 back at me. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.
Despite the hassle with my return, I have to admit that I am a big fan of Cotton:On's children's clothing line. I have spent a significant amount of money on their products and have always been pleased with the quality and design. It is just a shame that they have chosen to be so unhelpful and deceptive when it comes to returns. As a loyal customer, it really hurts to be treated this way.
Overall, I would have to say that my experience with Cotton:On has been bittersweet. While I love their clothes, the negative experience with returning merchandise has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that they are able to improve their customer service in the future so that others do not have to go through the same frustration that I did.
Cotton:On Customer Service Disappoints with No Size Change Policy
So, I was hyped to make an online buy from Cotton:On (cottonon.com), and after I did, I realized that I messed up and selected the wrong size for my shoes. It was like a punch in the gut, but I wasn't going to just sit with it. So, I reached out to their customer service team ASAP to try and fix things.
Now, let me tell you- the CS rep I got was a bit of a stickler! They let me know that changing the size wasn't possible and I would have to cancel my whole order and start over. That would be fine, except that some of the stuff in my cart was sold out and they couldn't guarantee I'd be able to get all the same things again. What kind of madness is that?
So, now here I am waiting for my child's shoes to arrive so I can send them back for a refund. It's definitely a bummer experience, but I'm hoping that next time I won't run into such issues with these guys.
Cotton:On - The Perfect Store for Trendy Clothes That Last!
I been shopping on Cotton:On website and in their store for like a really long time - like for sure more than ten years, and on two different parts of the world! Their clothes are super dope and like are made good and they like hold up super well even when I wash them like a bazillion times. Plus, they make it soooo easy to return their stuff by including a postage label with your order. I know some peeps on here are like freaking out about not being able to return stuff without the tags and stuff but like honestly, where have ya'll been shopping coz this is just a normal thing. As for me, I love the fabrics they use and the clothes have that trendy fit which is perfect. I never had any issues with shipping either and they come when they say they do. I usually don't write reviews, but like seriously, I don't get why people are hatin' on Cotton:On. It's lit!
Cotton:On Review - Fire Clothes, But Their Return Game is Trash
Bro, let me tell you, Cotton:On got a bad return game. Like, it's straight up the worst, especially with all this Covid stuff going on and they closed their fitting rooms. So I copped this thing without a tag, but they still rung it up for me no problem. But then when I tried to return it, it was a whole different story. They said I couldn't return it cause the item didn't have a tag, but they never wrote on the item that there wasn't a tag, you feel me? So I couldn't get my money back, store credit, or even switch it for a different size. And on top of that, they were treating me like trash, bro. It's mad disrespectful. Like, why even sell me something if you know I can't return it or exchange it? Straight up crooked. And if they gonna close the fitting rooms, they need to at least let you swap out sizes if it don't fit right. Word to my moms, I ain't shopping at Cotton:On again.
However, when it comes to the size and quality of the clothing, I gotta give them props. The clothes they got there are fire, no lie. They got a good variety of options and the materials feel nice on your skin. I gotta admit, I was hesitant at first, thinking it was gonna be cheap stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised. And they got deals going on all the time, so you can get fly clothes for a decent price.
But still, that return policy got me heated, man. And with all the typos and grammar mistakes on their website, it makes it even harder to figure out what you're getting yourself into. It's like they don't even proofread that stuff. But hey, I ain't perfect either, so I can't judge too hard on that front.
Overall, I say give Cotton:On a try if you want some fresh clothes, but just know that return policy is straight up booty. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Disappointing Experience with Cotton:On's Customer Service and Online Store
So, I decided to do some shopping at Cotton:On online store for my niece's Christmas present. I ordered a pair of earrings, but they never arrived. I was worried that they wouldn't get to me on time, so I called the customer service line and they refunded me quickly. A few hours later, I purchased a gift card instead, but it hasn't arrived yet. It's strange that the money left my account, but I still haven't received the printable card.
Feeling a bit frustrated, I called customer service again to find out why I haven't received my gift card. I also mentioned that I had returned the earrings that never arrived and wanted to use the gift card instead. However, the customer service representative told me that I couldn't use the gift card and then suddenly hung up on me! I was outraged by their rude behavior.
Overall, my experience with Cotton:On has been terrible. Their customer service is terrible and unhelpful. I hope they can improve their services in the future because I won't be shopping here again.
Cotton:On Short Pump Mall Review - Cool Threads, But Beware of Accusations
Cotton:On, I gotta say, my visit was not too shabby to be quite frank with ya. Although I did hear some bad eggs about this place, I couldn't help but take a peek and see for myself what all the hype was about. Let me tell you, they got some pretty cool threads in there, ya know what I mean? But the real kicker was when I tried on a pair of leggings. Now I ain't no thief, but they accused me of stealin' them when the tag wasn't even on it yet! I'm like, what the heckidy heck, ya feel me?
Anyway, they started going through my bag and I wasn't having any of it. I told 'em straight up, "You're not searchin' my bags, lady." And they still continued to try and snatch it like they were playing a game of tug-of-war. Needless to say, they kicked me out and banned me from their store. But the thing is, their clothes can rip pretty easily and some of 'em are see-through. So you might wanna keep that in mind.
Overall, I can't really recommend this place to you, especially if you don't wanna get banned for something you didn't even do. The location where this all went down for me was at Short Pump Mall, Virginia. So if you're in the area and decide to go, just be cautious and make sure you don't accidentally forget to put the tag on an item before you buy it.
Disappointing Experience with Cotton:on's Poor Online Services During Pregnancy
Now, let me tell you about my experience with Cotton:on. As a pregnant woman in my first trimester, going out shopping can be a daunting task. So, I decided to make my life easier by shopping online. Unfortunately, I chose Cotton:on and it was a terrible experience. In fact, it was so bad that I had to cancel an outing with my family because of them.
Their service is extremely poor and they made it very difficult for me. They failed to deliver my order on time and did not communicate with me at all. This not only made my life difficult but also made it difficult for their customer service agents who had to face my wrath. They had no idea when my order would arrive and could not provide me with any explanations.
I had to postpone everything because of them and it has been a whole week since I placed my order. I am beyond angry and disappointed with their incompetence. They have no sense of responsibility towards their customers and it is just disgusting.
In conclusion, I would never recommend Cotton:on to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Their online shopping service is a complete disaster and they do not care about the inconvenience they cause to their customers. If you are looking for a company that values its customers and takes its service seriously, then Cotton:on is not the choice for you. Steer clear and save yourself the frustration.
Inadequate Customer Service Experience with Cotton:On's Online Store
I made a purchase on Cotton:On's website during the lockdown and it was worth $350. Unfortunately, I was unable to track my order and it did not arrive for 9 weeks. After such a long wait, I decided to contact customer service in order to follow up. However, I was disappointed to find out that their online chat is not very effective. It was a fake queue and I had to wait for what felt like hours to be connected to a customer service representative. Moreover, I was advised to not make any other comments until the computer talks to me; otherwise, I would be moved back to the end of the queue. Even worse, the chat was unreliable, and I was not able to resolve my issue through this channel.
I tried to find some contact details on their website, but I had no success. Every time I searched, they took me in circles, bringing me back to their FAQs instead of providing me with a way to speak to a representative.
After a few attempts online, I went to a nearby Cotton:On store to see if they could help me. However, the manager there told me they could not assist me as they did not have access to online orders. Additionally, the customer inquiry line was shut down, which I found concerning. I learned that the best way to resolve the issue is to take it up with the delivery company. This was distressing as I expected more from Cotton:On's customer service. I felt like I received inadequate support.
Based on my experience, I suggest shoppers avoid purchasing from Cotton:On's website. Whenever possible, I recommend opting for in-store purchases to avoid any problems in the future.
Unhelpful Staff and Unfair Return Policy at Cotton:On Store - My Experience
I recently bought myself some fresh XS cargo pants at the Cotton:On store in Danbury Ct for 65 bucks. However, when I tried them on at home, they didn't quite fit as well as I had hoped. Here's the thing – I couldn't get a good look at how they fit because of the tag that was folded over covering part of the pants. I made my way back to the store to try to exchange them but, sadly, I was not able to do it. I had my receipt on hand and paid for everything with the same form of payment I used for the original purchase, but that didn't help me. They told me that the only way to return them was to have the tag attached to the pants. I think it's kind of bogus that no one told me that from the beginning. I'm really upset about this situation, and I doubt I'll ever go back to that store again.
There was a woman who was "helping" me, but there wasn't really any assistance given to me, to be honest. She had a pretty rude tone and was not very helpful at all. She just said "that's our only return policy" without even trying to find a solution for me. Personally, I think it was pretty unfair because I was within the 3-day return policy and I hadn't even worn them yet. I usually like shopping at Cotton:On, but I don't think I can deal with the unhelpful staff again.
Now, I've worked in retail in the past, and I know that stores often have the ability to attach tags back on or even reprint them. Why wouldn't they offer that as an option when I was trying to return my pants? To me, it just seems silly. I didn't even fully remove the tag, I just tore off one part to try the pants on, and now I can't even return them. It's all very ridiculous to me.
I think that maybe I'll stick with shopping at a place like Garage, where I know that they have more sensible policies when it comes to returns. It's just a shame that Cotton:On didn't have a little more flexibility and understanding when it came to my situation.
Cotton On Review: Complicated Returns Process for US Customers, But Affordable and Decent Quality Clothes
I had the opportunity to purchase from Cotton On, as one of my friends recommend it and said that their clothes are quite good considering the price. And, indeed, I wasn't expecting to receive high-quality items. After ordering nine things, I kept only two items, thus I had to return seven.
Let me tell you, if you are a customer from the United States, PLEASE be careful and don't make the same mistake I did! Make sure to go to their website and generate a return label that works for the USA. If you do not do this, it'll tell you that your order doesn't exist. I made this mistake, and trust me, it caused me unnecessary trouble.
Additionally, do not use the shipping label that came in your package BECAUSE it is NOT a return label. It happened to me, and because of this same confusion, I used the duplicate of the shipping label they used to send me my items, which made things more confusing than they needed to be. They really should not leave the duplicate in the package because it's misleading, and it's confusing for the customers!
Their returns are extremely complicated, especially for US customers. The return was free, but I paid via Paypal. However, I live in New York City, where tax isn't charged on articles of clothing less than $120 or so. I was charged for my order, but I decided to let it go since it wasn't worth fighting for a small amount of dollars.
Then, they processed my return, but now they're asking me to fill up this complicated form via email and asking for information that I found unnecessary, such as my bank account and routing number, amongst other things that I have no idea about. Shouldn't they already have this information on file? I paid via PayPal, not through a bank account, and I'm not comfortable giving them such information. What if this information is shared or leaked? It could result in someone taking money out of my account, and then I'll have to go through filing stolen money through my bank.
Another thing I found surprising was their refund calculation. Since I kept some of the items, I don't know how to calculate the exact refund amount. The email they sent me said I needed to input the refund amount, but how the heck am I supposed to know? It's not the customer's responsibility to calculate the refund amount. It's supposed to be automated, right?
When generating the return label on their website, make sure you use the ORDER number and not the "transaction" number. I found it confusing because they sent me email confirmations indicating my order number, and I punched the code into the return label generator, but it said it was incorrect. One email shows "order number" as a bunch of digits without a "W" on the front, while another email shows an "order number" with a "W" in front and totally different digits. It's extremely perplexing.
I did like the items a lot since they're not expensive, and the quality is decent enough for me. However, I had to return a lot of items because the sizing seems to be larger. I wasn't expecting my biker shorts in size US 4 (small) to be so oversized, especially since that's my usual size. Nevertheless, I have no issue reordering my right size, but the hassle they're putting me through right now makes me wish I didn't have to return a single thing to them.
Overall, I would highly recommend paying attention to the details of your order and the returns process when buying from CottonOn. Despite all the hassle with the returns, their clothes are affordable and of good quality. So, take your time and be patient, and hopefully, you'll receive what you pay for without too much trouble.
Cotton:On Complaints 10
Denied of return
In Danbury Ct, I purchased $65 cargo pants. I got an xs and they did not fit me correctly. When trying them on I could not clearly see if the pants fit with the folded over tag the cargo pants had. I went to return or exchange or get store credit or anything. I was denied. I had the receipt, same form of payment and tags when I brought it to the Danbury fair mall cotton on store. When I purchased the pants nobody told me tags have to be attached in order to return. I am SO upset and will never shop there again. The women that took "care" of me did not explain nothing to me just "that's our only return policy" in a very rude tone. I asked if there was anything I could do she rudely just said no and sent me out the store. I'm very upset because I never worn the pants and I purchased less than 3 days ago as of march 25th and today is march 27th. I've always like cotton on but maybe it I have to stick with garage to return without issues. Also, I've worked retail and stores are provided with the tools to attach tags back and reprint them. It made zero sense to me. The tag was located in front of the pants and I couldn't tell if they fit or not so I took one tag off. This is RIDICULOUS.
Avoid Cotton:On - Terrible Customer Service & No Refund Process!
I gotta say, the service I got from Cotton:On was just terrible. I was on hold for what seemed like forever on the phone, and when someone finally picked up, they told me to wait for just two minutes more. But then I waited for, like, ten whole minutes, only to be told that I couldn't talk to anyone anymore. And when I went to the store in person, I couldn't even get through - my call just went to voicemail. So frustrating! And now I'm trying to get a refund, but it seems like it's just disappeared into the ether. It's really not fair that the big boss is getting richer and richer while we get such lousy service. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying from this company.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Cotton:On's Online Store
I tried to buy something on Cotton:On's website but ended up cancelling my order. The delivery date was too far away and I didn't want to wait that long. After cancelling my order, I had to wait several days for my refund. I tried using their chat site to get help, but no one was able to assist me. Every time I contacted them, they just told me to wait another 1 to 5 days, but they never specified whether these were working days or not. It was frustrating to have to wait so long to get my money back. It seems like they don't mind taking your payment right away, but they don't prioritize customer service at all.

Warning: Terrible Customer Service from Cotton:On - Think Twice Before Ordering
So, I recently tried ordering some stuff from Cotton:On (cottonon.com) and it was a complete disaster. Despite the fact that I paid for my order, I never even got it in the first place. When I contacted Cotton:On about the issue, they told me to take it up with UPS, which was the company they had contracted to deliver my items. But here's the thing: I didn't have any business dealing with UPS - that was Cotton:On's responsibility, and they shouldn't have been trying to pass the buck onto me.
Not only that, but when I asked to speak to a supervisor about the situation, they flat-out refused to give me one. It's like they didn't even care about me as a customer, as long as they had already taken my money. I get that mistakes happen sometimes, but it's the way that Cotton:On responded (or, rather, didn't respond) to my frustration that really rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall, if you're considering buying from Cotton:On, I'd really recommend that you think twice before making a purchase. They don't seem to prioritize their customers' happiness or satisfaction, and that's just not cool. There are plenty of other retailers out there that will treat you better than Cotton:On did.
Disappointed with Cotton:On's Delivery Service and Customer Support
I recently made several big orders from Cotton:On and boy, was I let down! My products were sent by a delivery company that is just not reliable at all. I tried tracking my packages, but couldn't find any information. I even tried chatting with the Cotton:On customer service team online, but didn't get a response. Man, was that frustrating! To make matters worse, I couldn't find any phone number to call and try to resolve the issue. At this point, I don't think I'll be buying from them again. In comparison, when I ordered from Shopee and Lazada, I paid less and got my items delivered by a top-notch delivery company. That's what I call good service! I mean, isn't it normal for customers to want to know the delivery status of their purchases? It's just too bad that Cotton:On doesn't seem to understand that.
Unhelpful Service and Poor Refund Experience with Cotton:On
I had an experience with purchasing clothes from Cotton:On (cottonon.com) that I wanted to share with you all. Unfortunately, I had to return some items that did not fit me quite right, so I patiently waited for my refund to come through. However, after a month of waiting, the items were returned back to me without any explanation.
Confused and frustrated, I turned to their app in hopes of getting some assistance. Sadly, the response I received was not helpful at all. They told me that I should go into a store and try something on before I order it online because sizing can vary. I thought to myself, "What is the point of online shopping if I still have to go to a store?"
Despite the ridiculous explanation given, I tried to work with them and asked for a store credit instead of a refund. Unfortunately, they informed me that there was still nothing they could do.
As much as I love shopping online for the convenience it offers, this experience with Cotton:On has made me wary of shopping there again. I think it's important that we as consumers have the ability to easily return items that do not fit without any hassle.
Poor Customer Service Experience with Cotton On
So, apparently I've had some problems with cottonon.com. I was attempting to purchase a rug, and when it finally arrived, it was absolutely not what I expected. Unfortunately, when I tried to return it, I just kept getting ignored. For two weeks! Finally, after months of struggling to get any kind of response from these folks, they sent me an email asking me to take a picture of what I'd ordered. Well, I did that, but so far, I haven't heard a single thing back from them. Frankly, it's all been a pretty disappointing experience. When I first looked into purchasing the rug, the confirmation email they sent wasn't even from their own company - it was apparently from some individual. Now, I don't know about you, but that just seems fishy to me. All in all, customer service has been terrible, and the product was just not worth the hassle. Major disappointment.
Disappointed with Cotton:On's Refund Policy
I got some clothes for Christmas, but they just didn't fit right. I tried to take them back to the Cotton:On store in Ballito, but they said I couldn't get a refund or even a voucher to use later without the receipt. I mean, come on, the tags were still on the clothes and the computer knew what they cost. But they wouldn't give me anything for them. And they didn't even have anything else I wanted in my size.
I went to a different store and returned stuff before and it was super easy. But Cotton:On just doesn't seem to care about their customers. So I'm not going to shop there anymore.
Disappointed with Cotton:On's Poor Customer Service and Quality Control
Yo, I bought this dope T-shirt from Cotton:On when I was at Byron Bay. But, when I put it on I found this super annoying fault in the front of the fabric. It wasn't even that obvious until I slung the piece on and took a look in the mirror. So, I head down to the store and unfortunately, they wouldn't allow me to exchange the shirt unless I had the receipt or tag. Not cool, dudes!
But, the girl behind the counter was pretty nice and remembered me buying the top. Lucky for me, I'm in their system so when I make a purchase my order deets just magically pop up. She gave me the customer service hotline to call and try my luck. But, when I phoned up they weren't able to do anything for me, which bloomin' sucked.
I don't think I'll be purchasing from Cotton:On again. It was some super poor service and honestly, it's just not worth the hassle.
Amazing Fit & Comfort, but Disappointed with Black Pair: CottonOn Jeans Review
CottonOn's jeans are absolutely amazing! They fit me so well and are super comfy to wear. My top picks would have to be the straight leg jeans and the mom jeans, both in the classic blue color. However, I decided to mix things up a bit and ordered a pair of straight leg jeans in black. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed with them. Even though I ordered the same size and style, they looked and felt completely different compared to my other jeans. The black jeans were tight and shorter at the ankle, making it difficult to wear them comfortably. I even double-checked to make sure they were made in the same place as my other jeans, but the difference was still noticeable. It's a shame because I really wanted to add a black pair to my collection. I should have taken a photo of them before returning them.
