I want to complain about my wooden coffee table that I bought from Courts, and their customer care service. If I place a piece of paper or a book on the table, it tends to stick to the surface, and the print from the book may transfer onto the table.
Initially they attribute it to my usage, but I disagree as it doesn't align with my experiences with furniture from other wooden furniture, which have endured prolonged use without issues (10 years and more). The table I bought from Courts has issues in less than 6 months, not even a year. Another reason why I reject the usage issue is because, if it is a usage issue, it should affect a small area of the surface, but this one affects the whole table surface; if I were to put a paper or book, it will stick to the table - this does not make sense.

We could have bought from other shops, but we trusted Courts, and it is really disappointing if Courts does not keep its promise to make customers happy.
Secondly, the response I got from their customer care service was an unsatisfactory response. The first few responses were fine. But the last response I had with them gave me a bad impression. No response for 2 weeks. He even mentioned 'sofa' when I was complaining about 'coffee table'. This shows that the customer care service does not even read and willing to even help customers resolve issues.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome is simple: Send a furniture repair specialist to fix the surface of the table - restore its surface and polish or apply whatever to keep the surface not sticky. Not asking to replace with a new one if it can be repaired.
