fraudulent credit card
Supposedly this account was opened 7/18/18. This account was opened up using my name, social security information. I have reported this to the credit bureaus Transunion, Experian and Equifax. I have called this company to even try to just pay the $297 balance owed that does not even belong to me. All I get is the run around from Credit One.
They have sold this account to some one else but they can't tell me who they sold it too. I have disputed this card and they show it as a charged off account. But it still has a bad mark against my credit for something I never even opened.
I want this account taken off my credit or at least not be listed as a charge off bad debt.
credit card
I paid off this credit card company in Feb. 2019 after i told them, i was no longer wanted to do business with them. Now here it is in Oct. 2019 they are claiming that i owe them more money from june and july. They have messed up my credit, they have sent my information to collection agencies saying that i owed them all different money, one says i owe 7 hundred dollars the other one says i owe them over a thousand dollars. I wish i have never done business with this company. They are scam artists. They will mess up your credit. I have proof that i payed off my balance that was never over due. Plus i didnt even used the credit card they sent me. It was disposed of.
payments
I have submitted three payments and reading what is on the credit one website at least one of them should be available 5 days later even if it's over a weekend and I was told I was going to be another two days before it's available and every time I have tried to call all I get are people who barely speak any English when I try to get it a supervisor twice I was hung up on and then they want to put me on for another supervisor and that person didn't even come back online so I would like my demons available to be nails that I can use my card but of course that's not going to happen because they keep hanging up on me and don't get back to me and all I'm getting is everyone around at least the first payment should have been available.
credit one credit card
I tried to use my credit one card to make a purchase on ebay it was declined so I contacted them and they told me there was a hold on my AGAIN! this has happened at least 10 times. this happens almost every time I make a purchase on my ipad even though I specifically told them not to put a hold on MY card for these purchases as I make them often. when I call them they supposedly remove the hold and tell me I am allset to use my card so I try to make my purchase and what a surprise I am declined again so I figure I will wait awhile and try again and wow once again I am declined. I call back to get the issue resolved and the whole time I am talking talking to this person all they keep saying is I tried my card to many times. 2 times in 2 hours is to much? after they already told me it was ready to be used. I was trying to ask the lady questions and she just kept talking over me and not answering me. I think she told me I tried my card to many at least 10 times. she never answered any of my questions and was pretty much not listening to a god damn thing I said she was more worried about me not trying my card they were SUPPOSED to have fixed 2 hours prior.if my card has another hold put on it and I have to deal with these rude people again I will be cancelling this card there customer service is a joke full of rude people that don't try to help. never have I tried to get answers from a company and had someone try to talk over and try to scold me like a child. very dissatisfied customer.
Payment Process
I have been receiving financial assistance from Credit One's credit protection since June 2018.
The problem is that although the credit protection program which is directly affiliated with credit one and secured a payment each of the following months yet I still was charged a $37 late fee. The the payments and charges are as follows.
June 28th-July 27th 2018 …………
CP paid$25. Late fee charged $37
July 29th-August 27th 2018……….
CP no payment.MISSING Late fee charged $37
Aug 28th-Sep 27th 2018
CP paid $111.46
Sep 28th-Oct 27th 2018 CP paid$25
Oct- CP paid $25
Nov - CP paid $25
Dec- CP paid $25
January-. CP paid $25
Fed 27th -March 27th 2019
CP no payment MISSING Late fee charged $25
March 28th- April 37thth 2019
CP no payment MISSING Late fee $37
April 28th-May 27th 2019
My payment 319.38. Late fee $-53.75
Annual fee of $8.25
May 28th-June 27th 2019
Annual fee of $8.25 Late fee $14.40
June 28th-July 27th 2019
My returned payment from Enterprise rental car for a mistake they made.
Annual fee of $8.25 Late fee $37
So #1 On Mays bill statement a transfer balance took place. This is the reason for the skipped payment from Credit Protection in June 2018 as well as the $74 late fees. I'd like the $74 dollar fees deducted in the same situation as May 2019.
#2 I have been getting charged $8.95 per month for an annual fee. I knew nothing of this. Please return these charges as well. I'd like to know is what is your annual fee?
#3 After a payment of $181 from Enterprise Rental Car Credit One insist that this will not be recorded as a payment leaving me with a credit card that is STILL restricted. My available credit is 0 with a $300 credit limit. My balance is 175.16 with a minimum payment of 64.60. This is not appropriate!
May I also add It was my understanding that as long as I was on the program (credit protection) that I would not have access to my account. So there should be no reason for any charges through the course of the Credit protection program. After looking through my statements I realized that each time balance transfer to place the Credit Protection department didn't get notification of it until the following month. I'm not sure but I can't afford to To pay for that mistake that happened 3 times.
I feel as though my account should have never been over the limit. Had it not been for the earlier changes of $37 in June & July 2018 my account would be below the $300 credit limit.
And just maybe you feel protected. But that is
I would like adjustments made for overdraft fees for June & July 2018. And or any other mistake
Unnoticed.
I am also requesting a credit for the missing payments from the Credit Protection department.
billing of service charges on a closed account
We closed our Credit One bank account back in March, and they continued billing us a monthly charged event though we ripped up the card and stopped using it. They claimed we owed them $31, but to clear the account and our credit report they sent to collections, they claimed they needed $112. We had to give them the money to close our account. This is just wrong. They should not be allowed to send you to collections for a accumulated basic account charges for a card that has not been used!
credit card
I am so frustrated i just attempted this company! There were 3 nsf charges to my account, but no correspondence to myself via email or telephone that there was an issue! When confronted with the issue i was told that they don't call their customers because their customers are supposed to be "resposible adults". I had fun vs. In my account but was closed out and never told. I only used the card to build credit, and have made great head way until this company decided to close my account versus take a moment to call me to verify the problem, in which it must have been processing wrong the entire time. So disappointed. And i had to beg for an address so i can send certified mail to ensure they get it because they wanted all this extra info and to only pay on the phone with them (but they refused to give me a direct line to them, it took 10 min of call transfer to get a person that was hard to understand and still refused to give me telephone contact info) or send my info to him via email or moneygram! I demanded an address so that i can pay extra to verify it goes to the correct company with a signature required. The amount of scans out there today is enough for any person to second guess and they are so uncooperative im sketchy. I do not recommend anyone ever use this company.
payment
I made a payment July 3 2019. I have a confirmation number and said my payment was accepted. Last wk credit one called me said I missed a payment. The wk before that they said my payment was sent back due to nsf. Thats b. s. I've had problems before with credit one bank not taking my payments. I've got a good mind to cut the card up and the hell with paying anything. I'm totally fed up with this. They need to do something. My payments have been made. I'm not deliquent. Get it straight. Or I go to the BBB
my former credit card account
So recently this month, I had to shut down my credit card account with Credit One Bank due to being in poor credit with them and I had to shut down my account with them due to me not being able to pay the monthly bills with them. I just wanted to know that since I officially shut down my account with Credit One meaning that I dont use the account anymore and I can't use the card anymore, does that still affect my social security number in any sorta financial way negatively, since the online account is still active and will I get in trouble with the law for this since I shut down my account with them for not paying the monthly bills
incorrect account information on website/telephone representative rude.
Several days ago, I contacted Credit One Bank because I was going to be late in submitting a payment. The male representative I spoke to listened to me, and understood my problem. He very kindly removed a late charge. Today I receive a message from these people that my $70 payment is now $144, and the late charge has been re-established. SO...I call Credit One Bank AGAIN. This time I get an Asian female I cannot understand, (English is obviously NOT her primary language), and this "representative" refused to listen to my inquiries, kept telling me "everything is okay" and other non-sequiturs. Issue was not resolved.
credit card
I was trying to make a payment on my credit card account and it sent me to the customer service department where a gentleman stated that I needed to mail them a copy of my Social Security card. When I asked why they said they could not give me any information because they could not prove who I was. They asked me a number of questions called "security" questions And told me these are the questions that I had chosen for my account. However I never added security questions on my account. They told me that in order to unblock my account I would need to send a copy of my Social Security card along with a copy of my drivers license and a copy of a recent paycheck stub I've had this card for over two years and I have never been asked to do this nor have I been ever asked to do this with any other credit card company has anyone else had these issues? I also was trying to dispute some fraudulent charges that were on my card and they told me that I made these charges and that I needed to figure out how to pay them.
credit card
Don't just don't EVER get this credit card. I closed my account 6 months ago because they charge you $9.99 every time you make a phone payment. They have been fleecing me ever since. They claim I owed them $133.76. I have tried to dispute this bogus charge to no avail. Today I paid it to avoid destroying a perfect payment record. 6 months ago I cut this card up and threw it away in different garbage cans at different days of the week. I will not be paying ANYTHING additional on this horrid card. I will spend the money on an attorney before they get another red cent. The card that keeps taking. Stay clear!
credit card
I want to make my min. payment before it is due. The website keeps having errors. I called their 877 number to make a payment and the lady told me I made too many payments and can't make another. This leaves me unable to pay the min. payment before the due date making them able to say I paid late and charge me a late fee. Who in their right mind refuses a payment? This is for my Visa card ending in 1257. On twitter the person says Moneygram. I do not want to use Moneygram as I feel it is a scam. I want to pay online through their website. If the lady on the phone and the website refuses my payment I should not be charged any late fees since the broken website and the phone lady did not allow me to make a payment.
disputing an account you bought from midland
When was the account opened? I was in prison for almost 9 years(from 3/2010 till 13/2018. I've never opened a account with you or midland. I did leave my social security card and I'd at someone's house. The account was never opened by me nor did I receive funds from it. My name is vincent m. Mizell and you can email at [protected]@gmail.com
I appreciate your time in this matter.
online access
I have been trying to access my account online for over a week now to no avail. I keep being told I will receive an email to reset my password online. No email is ever sent. I know you have the correct email because I'm receiving email offers from credit one. I am at my wits end trying to access my account online. Please correct this problem as quickly as possible as I am extremely frustrated and annoyed right now concerning this problem. This doesn't say a lot about quality customer service you are providing.
suspension of account when making extra payments
My account was suspended because the credit card company states I made 3 payments that were declined. I check the website it shows it has been received then about a week or 2 later it showed my payment never went through. The website does not show up to date or correct information. I made 3 times the payments I should have but still suspended my account.
credit one bank
December 13, 2018 my Credit One Account was opened. December 22, 2018 and the 22nd of every month is the end of their billing cycle. From z Dec 13 - Dec 22 I accumulated a total of $73.14 worth of charges. My payment is due the 18th of each month. January 18th being my first bill due.
I attempted to make a payment of the 73.14 in full on Credit One's app and I received a confirmation number. By January end statement 1-22-19 I accumulated a total 476.14 (403.00 plus the previous 73.14). Unknown to me my first payment 1-18-19 did not process due to an incorrect bank account number. On January 25, 2019 Credit one bank reported a balance of $510.00 to Experian. Placing me over my $500.00 credit limit. (Once the late fee added to 476.14 came to 510.00)
I was flagged for over credit limit, and lost 34 credit points by Experian. Transunion they reported $403.00, Equifax $403.00 all on 1/25/18. I received a call from Credit One bank 1/26/19 informing me of the non processed payment. I was told by a supervisor to send proof. I faxed my credit report, the derogatory remark, and my bank statements for 3 months prior to show my balances were more than sufficient to pay. That an error was made, nothing fraudulent.
I was promised they would report to Experian and they never did to this day.
Sincerely,
Anthony Vaughn

billing after not cancelling an authorized users card
I cancelled an authorized user 1/30/19. They state they removed him. On 2/23/19 I call after reviewing bill. There were almost 600 in charges that aren't mine or authorized since I removed the authorized user. They state they did not cancel the other card. State they will credit back all charges due to their error. Then find out they wait a whole billing cycle to delete authorized users then told 72 hrs.they charge back all charges almost 3 mths look later . filed another dispute they state they will notify credit bureaus after they conduct ANOTHER investigation . while my credit takes a dive for charges that I didn't authorize or aren't mine. Consumer financial protection bureau is. F"""" ing joke . now nobody regulates these banks.
