This app is garbage.
For some insight: Every login requires at least two attempts (it will accept your login & show the app. itself for about half a second before reverting back to the login screen. If you're lucky, you only have to login twice, but I've had it take up to 5 or 6 attempts thus far). If you’re actively using the thing, it’ll still occasionally log you out & log you back in after about a minute or two.
To be clear: This isn't some idiot / user-error issue. I have it set to login via Face ID, so there's zero chance of my inputting a wrong password. I’m relatively tech. savvy.
Otherwise, while they'll never see a penny of interest from me (I'll be paying off 100% of my balance ahead of every statement date) updates are extremely slow, both in terms of any charges you make to this card (transaction history from 2 days ago do not show up currently, nor are they reflected in my balance due/available credit) and in payments made.
What’s interesting is that making a payment takes seven days. Naturally, this company offers the ability to post a payment slightly faster for a charge of about $8. My impression is that this is designed to dupe unwitting cardholders into making late payments by paying on or near their due dates. I’m not going to let this happen to me, but it’s clearly predatory & should be illegal.
I obtained this card to build some credit history, and am greatly looking forward to the day where I close the account and be done with this trash app. & dishonest company.

Payments don’t post on time
I have had issues with the app not working. This month I tried to make a payment through the app and it wasn’t working so it redirected me to the website. I made a payment through the website and I screenshot the scheduled payment. By the due date it said I hadn’t made a payment. You charged me a late fee and when I spoke to not only 1 but 3 rude customer service reps, I was told that the payments from the website are third parties and that if the payment is not received through the app it’ll take longer and I will be charged a late fee even though I made a payment through the website! That doesn’t make sense! Your website creditonebank.com should be the same as the app. It’s the same name! On top of that, it’s been over a week and the payment I supposedly scheduled has NOT come through. When I told the customer service reps that I had a reference number and everything they said that it didn’t show on my account that I even scheduled anything even though I had screenshot the page that said I did make a scheduled payment. It’s so easy to ask for the payments on the due dates and you quickly charge late fees but when we make a payment it takes forever to post, forever to be seen in our account as available credit and on top of it, the scheduled payments STILL DO NOT go through on time which causes the late fees. This card is suppose to help build credit but how can my credit get build up right when the app rarely works and my payments are always “late”. And is the website the same as the app? Geez! The app needs a lot of work.

Sketchy Company
Got this card and two others to try and build credit, and got a $300 limit and $48 annual fee. CapitalOne gave me a $1000 limit with no fee, as did Merrick Bank.
I’ve used all three cards and have paid them off with the same frequency, and every month to avoid interest. I get limit increases every six months with the other two, but always am denied by CreditOne. In three years since, I also have an Apple Card, a second CapitalOne card, a Discover card with a limit of $10,000, and have been able to refi my truck for 2.99% APR.
My credit score is over 750 now, but continue to get denied by CreditOne, and maintain a $300 limit with them. What is more mind-numbing is that I’m now pre-approved for another CreditOne card with a $1500 limit and 0% intro interest! The catch of course is the $95 annual fee that comes with it! I’m apparently too much of a risk to increase the old card to a limit so that I will actually use it for more than one gas fill-up a month (bad idea to keep more than 10% utilization on it, right?!)…but there’s no problem offering me another card (with twice the fee!) and a 500% limit increase!
Believe me, I do not provide this testimony to brag about what I’ve earned (though I’m proud of the journey, of course!); I say these things to illustrate how the only right I have is to cancel the card and face the consequences of doing so—and so they have me over a barrel for an easy $48/yr, indefinitely—and they have the right to close the account if they decide I’m not using the card like they want.
So my big purchases go to another bank, so CreditOne gets their fee and everyone who reads this gets their buyer-beware!

Identity verification
This is a scummy company. I legitimately authorized two transactions and then they blocked my card. I desperately needed it to pay bills, but then they told me I needed to furnish them with my identification and proof of residency. If that’s not enough, now they tell me it will take 7-10 days. It has caused me intense depression. I can’t eat, sleep, had a panic attack, and haven’t recovered since. I plan on suing for damages soon.
Desired outcome: Monetary compensation for emotional turmoil caused by their lengthy security protocol, not allowing me to have access to my balance as necessary.
Outsourcing customer service
You know people are already frustrated when they call your customer service! And then when they get to customer service they can't understand a goddamn word they're saying. The way you greedy CEOs stop money in your pockets with no regard for the poor man that you're stealing from. May God help you! Preferably my wish that he wouldn't help you and that you get to go straight to hell where you belong!
Desired outcome: Have people that will talk to you that speak English and you can understand when you're having a frustrating problem such as fraudulent activity on your card. Too much to ask though
Annual fee waiver
Hi,
I applied for a credit card (ending with 2102) and I was imposed an annual fee of $95. I spoke to customer service agent to close this card because I did not even receive the card that time. Based on my good credit history, she insisted me to continue using the new Credit One card and in return she offered me 1) waive off first year annual fee of $95 2) credit increase of $100. She said my annual fee will disappear from my account in 48 hours. I agreed to use it based on the condition of waiving $95 annual fee.
This $95 however did not disappear from my account for another week. I had to call again to customer service and another agent still said that it will disappear in 48 hours, which it did not. I have called 7 times now for the same problem. Last time when I called, the customer agent completely refused that the annual fee was ever waived off by agent. She even said that customer agent cannot do it. That was so disappointing to hear. I then spoke to a supervisor on duty (named Stephanie with employee ID: [protected]). She promised that she has waived it off herself and $95 will be disappeared from my credit account in 48 hours, and again it did not. I am completely disappointed with the continuous lies of customer service agents to an extent that I just don’t want to use Credit One credit card any more. Please help me solve this issue because I agreed to use the card only on the condition of waiving annual fee off. It is simply a matter of fraud and deceiving customers. Please fix this issue before the payment deadline of June 10, 2023. Thank you!

I constantly get emails saying that my account is locked to many unsuccessful attempts at logging in. This is the only credit card that I have that sends me messages stating that my account is locked due to someone trying to log in and was unsuccessful. I called them on 6/27 to report the lack of security they have with their online system. I was very frustrated when speaking the representative and on top of that, all the reps are foreign with an accent so it’s very difficult to understand them and very difficult for them to understand you at times. During that call, I expressed my frustration and told the representative I will be closing my account soon due to this lack of security with the online system and lack of customer service and hung the phone up. Today 6/29 I get an email stating that my account is closed. Now I am extremely angry and confused because I didn’t give permission nor authorize anyone to close my bank account. I work for a credit card bank as well and when customers call to close the account, we have to read them a disclosure and get the customers consent to close the account, which was not the case with CREDIT ONE. I then called today and requested to speak to supervisor and the supervisor stated that my account is in eligible for reinstatement. This is all happening because the representative took it upon himself to close my account without me giving him the permission to do so! I was told to contact them in 3-5 business days because “this matter has been escalated to upper management”. Piss Poor service and I only got this card because I wanted to build my credit and now my account is closed without me even giving them the permission to do so. I would like to sue them and take this into legal matters. No where in the terms and conditions nor credit card agreement do I see anything about closing the account without the permission of a customer.
Customer service is the worst ever experienced
I saw various unauthorized charges to my account and decided to call the card's customer service number. The said they needed to verify my identity to "pull up my account". They asked me for the full card number, my full name as on card, last four of my social security number, email address and date of birth. I gave them everything but I refused to give my dob to a complete stranger help way across the world. They said and repeated several times they were unable to help me with any account issues or get past the verification process (even if they had already verified all of the above information and data) unless I gave them my full dob!. If this is their idea of servicing their customers I don't want anything to do with his company. I closed my account.
Desired outcome: I emailed them requesting my Credit One account closed. Do not recommend this credit card to anyone. There are so many out there you don't need the aggravation. No customer service means NO CUSTOMERS.
The entire company
I had a charge of 21.31 on a credit card that I had not used since June 2022, I contacted Customer Service and was transferred to the fraud department. I was told that they would credit back the 21.31 temporarily, only to find out that did not include the late fees or interest charges. My last statement shows additional late fees and interest charges, which at the least should have been on hold until after the investigation, but no such luck with this bank. Instead I was told I am responsible for all the charges and then transferred to other people only to be told the same thing. I have since closed my account, paid the balance, and will never do business with Credit One Bank again.
Desired outcome: A complete refund of all charges.
Credit card
I had my credit card account shut down over suspicious behavior because I had a few payment failures from a few different bank accounts. However if payment failed I also managed to follow up and get my payment paid. In fact my card is completely paid off now they cancelled my account when I didn't owe a dime. I never attempted to like use someone else's account to make payment the banks were all mine. I had multiple accounts strictly due to reaping the benefits for sign up bonuses for signing up and receiving direct deposits, banks offer $200-500 for this so why not bounce around collect free money? It's a no BRAINER if you have the means to fulfill the requirements?

Desired outcome: reinstate credit limit remove closed status on credit report and replace months cancelled as months of positive reviews to enhance my credit with having an open credit line in good status with a positive payment history.
Payment was posted for over 17 days, then credit one reversed it
Back on 09/20/2022, a payment was made in the amount of $2,242.72... It was authorized by me. The payment posted the next day, I received confirmation of it posting the next day, also! I paid the $4.95 express fee to have the credit automatically. The $2,242.72 was posted on my account for almost Three weeks, until 10/06/2022. Then on 10/06/2022 the payment was reversed. I argued and fought with Credit One Bank over this payment. Each time that I spoke to the customer service Rep, it was always a different story. One story was that the payment never posted, and the second time I called back and spoke to someone else, that customer service Rep. said that I did not authorize the payment. Which one is it Credit One? Then another time, they said that they sent the Two-Thousand-dollar payment back to my bank account too! Which, still to today it never was returned to my bank account. Then another time, I was told Credit One Bank was just going to keep the funds, because they claimed that the payment was fraudulent, which it wasn't, because I was on the phone with customer service to authorize the one-time payment. One of the customer service ladies said to file a dispute, so I did, and I wrote them two letters, and uploaded everything online, then about a month later, they said they never received the documents. I also went and filed a police report with my local Sheriff's Department, thinking that might help me get my credit back from the payment that I made on 09/20/2022. Nope, they claimed they never got it, so then I was really upset, so I got their dispute mailing address, and I made copies of everything. Then I mailed it to them, everything. Guess what, the last time I spoke to one of their customer service Reps. they claimed they never got the police report. Anybody that is thinking about doing business with this shady company, you might want to think twice about it, its been nothing but a headache with this company. I still can't believe that is the way they do business. It must be because all of their customer service Reps. are all from the Philippines, and none of them know how to treat the customers. Their all rude as heck, and don't even listen to your problem, and every sentence they want to interrupt you while you are speaking to them about your situation.
Desired outcome: Nothing yet, I am letting my attorney handle it, if they don't make it right, I will start a lawsuit on this matter.

as an authorized user, I am asking for All statements as My Husband whom passed away March 11th, 2023 opened account, his P/W his email. he then added me after opening. I have a CC and I very seldom used it. there are no Statements sent to address i believe Todd may has asked for paperless. Last paper Statement was 1.19.2023
I called about 3 weeks ago they stated the amount was approx. 630.00
I called this past Saturday. was in the 700.00 range.
i asked for statements, rep placed me on hold 4-5 min...then line was disconnected.
I am requesting my own online access to retrieve copies of all statements.
Desired outcome: To be able to have paper statements and review them. and to have my own access to account.
I am currently a credit one holder too, and their customer service is so rude, and always hanging up on me. They are also all foreign too, none of them are American. All of their customer service Reps. need to learn some manners, and also learn how to not interrupt the customer, when they are currently explaining to the Rep. what they need help with.

Why is it so difficult for credit one to have a working website? It is virtually impossible to log in - especially from overseas. The site requires a secure code which, when you can get that far in the process, tells you that the secure code they just sent you was incorrectly submitted although it is clearly correct. Once the site has deemed you an idiot for not being able to transfer a simple code it merely throws you off to start the whole process again. And again. I have not been able to access this site in weeks. It is virtually useless. How can a company of this size be so dismal when it comes to something as simple as a working website. I never have this problem with Capital One, or my own bank or the countless websites I use every single day. Just Credit One.
Desired outcome: How about they learn how to build a functioning website that is able to be accessed by their clients no matter where those clients are.
Not being able to log into my credit one account
I have tried to tell you people that I can't log into my Credit One acct without having to verify who I am by verifying who I am with a code. I have no problem with that. You keep wanting to send the code to [protected]. That is a house phone and I can't get the code from it. You need to send the code to my my mobile phone number [protected]. Next is to an email [protected]@excite.com. My new email is [protected]@Bluetiehome.com. Every time I try to tell you that on the computer it comes up in red that you don't recognize it yet you tell my daughter that you have it on Credit One out west. How about put my mobile phone and email address on every Credit One space that I have to log into. My user name is Sonnyii and my password is [protected]@2006. My name is Christopher Ferrebee, and I am having the worst time figuring out what happened with my money.
On Oct 4th 2022, I authorized a payment on a credit card (Credit One Bank) from a line of credit I had with a company named Tally. Almost right after, I realized I authorized a payment for the complete wrong amount. I authorized it for $2600. I only owed $400
I quickly informed informed the credit card company (Credit One Bank). They informed me that as soon as they received it, they would issue me a refund in the form of a check sent back to me minus what I owed them. I was ok with that. When I got paid again, I used my entire paycheck to pay off my line of credit ($2600), because once again, I was being told that a check was on its way to me.
I closed my Tally account after paying it off because I didn't want to accidently do that again. Once you click the button to send the payment, Tally told me they have no way to cancel it and I had to work it out with my credit card company. Plus during this whole ordeal, the longer it took to deal with the credit card company, the more interest I had to pay to Tally. Not a company I ever wanted to do business with again.
I waited a month for my money and it still never came. I called Credit One Bank and they said they sent it out on Oct 30, 2022 and it was on its way.
I waited another 2 weeks, and it still hadn't come. I called Credit One Bank again and they told me the same thing, except this time they were going investigate it and it could take up to 60 days.
In January, FINALLY, they informed me they sent it back to ACI payments (some 3rd party payment service.At first they only provided me with a phone number and told me that the check they sent was cashed on Nov 9th, 2022. The phone number they gave me was disconnected. I have called them back many many times trying to get to the bottom of this. One "manager" would tell me they needed to investigate and it will take them 7-10 days. Ill call them again on the 11th day, only to me told by another "manager" that they had no records of me calling 10 days ago and would repeat that the refund check was already taken care of.
Look, I paid Tally off because Credit One Bank said they were sending me a check for the difference. I didn't want to pay all that interest. Now, Tally says they can't help me because they have no records of any payments they sent out on my behalf being returned. I have Credit One Bank telling me 100 different things with the last being they sent the payment to ACI Payments Inc, where it was cashed on Nov 9 2022. I have tried reaching out to ACI payments, and they said they can't help me.
Desired outcome: I want Credit One Bank to do what they originally told me they were going to do and send me a check for my refund amount. Credit One Bank has tools to recover the money they sent to ACI Payments. I do not.

I have a credit one account and i make my payments i have for the last 7 months. I have been trying for them to change my phone number, email address, and correct address. So first they cant change my address, phone number, and email by phone. According to them they cant change anything over phone which i find strange. They asked me to send it by email. I did and still nothing they still have a block on my account for 7 months now. They literally asked me to get a new id that has 2nd floor on it. I literally got upset and asked them if they were going to pay for the id?. Then they send me 6 temp passcode to email and then they sit there and say is incorrec. How can you send 6 temp passcode and none of the 6 are correct according to them. I went on a cruise and lost my credit car, but until this block is off they cant send me a new one. They do take the payment tough by phone but how can they not be able to make changes maybe im dumb on my 50, but i swear this is a first. I am literally so disgusted with this company. I need help in this situation. What can i do im def not going for another id not going to do that. The block they have is because my id doesnt have 2nd floor on it. I recently lost my spouse 7 months ago and dont need unnecessary stress and frustration. A simple transaction has become such a ordeal.

I applied for a American Express card back via Credit one back in 2022. I was approved according to the email they sent me. I waited for the card and then life happened and I did not follow up. I finally did follow up and was told I was declined. When I told the rep that the email said I was approved, he asked me to hold on for a couple of minutes, which turned into 20 minutes then he disconnected the call. I have to email with the approval. I have two cards with them, when I realized they were charging me extra because i made a payment on my due date I cancelled my cards. Come to find out i now have a debt collector contacting me saying I own double what my limit was because they never shut down my cards or sent me anything! I am so furious with this company and i hope no one uses them.

Good afternoon, I realize this isn’t the normal process, but after trying to deal with customer service on my Credit One account, I am hoping that one of you would be willing to help in my predicament. I have a new Credit One card I received in December. I used it, I paid for it, then unbeknownst to me, I had a restriction placed on my card so that you all could verify my bank account. Never have I in my 50 years had that issue with a single credit card, where payments needed to be verified. I have sent in documentation now twice and each time I am told it will be another 10 days. My family is leaving for spring break Tuesday. All I am asking for is for anyone there to help me fix this and remove the restriction from my card. It is the card I used to make the reservation for our break – so I actually need to be able to use when I check in.
I can’t seem to get anyone else to help me along this process. I had no idea there needed to be a validation process needed, as I have still continued to make payments and still have no access to my card. I have been with my current employer since 1997, and I realize there are processes that need to be followed. I am not asking for a pass on those procedures, just help. I have managed call centers at my company so I know there are always options outside of waiting another 10 days to have a resolution to an issue. However, I also know that sometimes you need to engage others to help move things along and I am just hoping one of you can help expedite this hold removal so that our entire family doesn’t miss out on vacation come Tuesday. I appreciate your time.

This pathetic credit card companies website is down yet again! This is done on purpose I do believe. Most reputable companies will do upgrades over the weekend and at late night.
You people are very suspicious and appear to be operating in a criminal, fraudulent manner by constantly having your horrible website down. This definitely needs to be reported to the proper criminal authorities!
Desired outcome: Lawsuit / settlement for pain and suffering due stress of not being able to make payments on time because of your faulty, clumsy website

Good afternoon I've trying to get a replacement card and since December 2022. And still not received one o have every month since and always get the run around. I came to Florida in November 2022 and change my address from Michigan I hav see received all my mail . But not received your card. I even check and updated my address with 3 times and still no card.
