Approximately 30 days ago I signed on with Crickett I paid for the phone and 1st month of service at your Prescott Arizona Gurley St location. I asked and explained to the saleperson that I need the Auto pay to be billed on the 3rd or 4th of each month has I am retired US Air Force and I am paid on the 1st of each month and I was told no problem again stating to avoid any problems the 3rd or 4th of each month and what do you know my auto pay was not billed had asked and the phone was turned off and after speaking to customer service all I got was the Im sorry speech. When a customer asks specifically to avoid any problems and the request is not honored it makes me want to just not use your company I wasnt even offered an extension to the 1st. Ty T Wilson. On July 28, 2017 i asked for a 2 day extension on my phone line do to my son and his medical condition and asked to pay the full amount on Monday told them we had no means of money to pay the bridge pay.But come Monday we could pay the full amt. do.the supervisor Alan employee #[protected] told me that he could and wouldn't do anything to help and just to make a bridge pay.they didn't care about my family situation nor have we ever asked for a hand out before.it just discuss me that a company like this doesn't care about the loyalty of 17 years that we've been with them.this is a shame...
buying a phone
Try to buy a phone 2 times now. Manager said that the system was down. We could not purchase our phones for a second time. First time was last sunday, how do these idiots expect to sell anything if their system is down all the time. Manager said it was the 3rd or 4th time this month alone. Guess im going to verizon prepaid instead. At least their equipment works.

It's sad to think that after 5+ years of service, cricket wireless is so quick to lose their customers. I took a medical leave of absence from work for awhile, but now that I'm re-employed and 5 days away from receiving my first check, the robots that work for this company have no sympathy and continue to suggest the bridge payment. I had to repeatedly tell them I won't have any money for a few days, but they kept offering me suggestions that require a payment. I don't want to lose my number, or leave cricket for that matter, but if a company can't help a loyal customer in their time of need, this is not a company I can stand by anymore. Time to switch phone services
lg stylo 2 & galaxy grand prime
when i had the galaxy grand prime as a cricket customer, i liked it. but my friends who also had samsung phones got the newest software update, which i was SO excited about. you know... the nicer looking icons. new emojis. the ability to change the theme of your phone. yeah, that update. well, i never got it. i was really mad.. and i still am about it and i dont even have that phone anymore. i ended up getting a new phone; the LG stylo 2. and i love it! its also a cricket phone. well guess what? both of my parents also have the LG stylo 2 but theyre using virgin mobile. ive had this phone for about 4 months and my parents already got the software update for it. but not me! coincidence? i dont think so. im seriously tired of checking and checking for the update but it always says "you have the latest software for your OS" oh really? what about my parents who have the same phone but a different carrier. im tired of all my cricket phones never updating the software when i know for a fact that there sure as hell is one. its just cricket. and im seriously considering changing my carrier because this is ridiculous. whats the problem with sending the software update? will it cost cricket money to do so? is it "too hard"? yeah i dont think so.. and i DO need an explanation for this.

Worst customer service, I called because i wanted to delete a line and they gave me run around. I wanted to keep my number and even talked to management...waste of time . So I was long time customer and took my business to Virgin mobile got great phone and cricket lost a customer . Cricket during service sent texts that they were raising rates and lowering data so i give them middle finger ☝.no not this one lol
zte blade x max cell phone
On 6/10/17 I purchased a ZTE Blade X max. About 3 weeks later the phone started acting up- freezing up and going black several times a day. I wasn't getting text messages. A thick, black line appeared at the bottom of the phone where the Favorites bar is and I couldn't get it to disappear. The Manager said I could get $35 credit. I just wanted to pay the difference for a different phone. He couldn't fix the black line either! He suggested trying to sell the phone (broken) myself for more money. We've been customers for a few years now, but after this I'm ready go somewhere else!

The gentlemen told me a get $50 credit .Which I did not.he also said phone works any where.The phone only works in certain parts of my house .Always dropping calls and calling other numbers while I am on phone.This service is not anything they say it is. And within 2 hours of having phone it was saying storage low .I am very displeased .I am requesting a full refund for the bad service I was giving

Went in to return a phone bought three days prior and the clerk was so rude to an older man before us. Between two clerks noone was trained to execute a refund and asked us to come back another day when the manager was there. After telling him they need to know all aspects of a retail purchase, he yelled very loudly and sarcastically "THANK-YOU AND GOODBYE repeatedly until we were out of the store. No sorry, nothing. Horrible "bedside" manner and the worst in-person customer service experience I can remember.

I brought a phone on July 15, 2017 from a Cricket Wireless store address 4508 Matlock Rd Ste 100. I went back on July 16 to the same store to return the phone because i switched service to T Mobile. The sales person Hani Z starts to ask me why would I buy a phone and I know it doesnt work on T Mobile website. I explain to him I switched service to get a better family plan. He then tells me why buy the phone yesterday when you know you are going to switch carriers. This sales person was extremely rude and its none of his business why I switched plans and for what reason I came to return a phone I can no longer use. This was the same sales peraon the day before that sold me the phone and and when I asked to see the LG he reply was why woild you look at ghat phone when the Samsung is better. Another part of the reason I left Cricket was because customer service is horrible and the treatment from your sales person Hani Z confirms I made the right decision.
I am complaining about personal information pertaining to my personal account
To whom it may concern,
This letter shall serve as a formal complaint against services I had requested and denied.
I called cricket wireless customer service requesting copies of phone history and SMS messages from my personal account and was told I was unable to obtain such information with out a subpoena..
The privacy Act Law Enacted 1974
Clearly states that an individual is entitled to copies of information pertaining to them with written consent
It doesn't state one is required to obtain a subpoena to get personal information pertaining to themselves.
I requested the authorization form needed to fill out to obtain my personal records by giving written consent and was said that crickets policy does not have said document..
I was told the only way I could obtain the information is solely through an attorney.
I have the legal right as a United States citizen and as a customer to obtain my records by law.
I hope your department can resolve this issue at hand before legal action will commence for the violation of my right in which I am covered by the privacy Act Enacted in 1974.

Sabrina, your phone and SMS records actually contain zero data covered by the quoted Act unless you personally typed in things like your SSN in a text message.
Those records also contain OTHER people's information, hence why a subpoena IS required.

On Sunday (7/9/17) I went to the Cricket store located on 6946 Cermak Road in Berwyn, IL. due to my iPhone not working. I had to purchase a new phone and case on Sunday around 5pm. That night I noticed I was not receiving any text messages. I waited until Monday morning, still not receiving any text message. That same Monday morning I called the store where I purchased the product from and spoke to Yara the manager- this is what she said to me “it's not working because You have an iPhone and since now you are using an android you need to disable imessage on you iPhone", which I did and nothing happened. So, I had to drive back to the store and spend more than TWO hours at the store while they "tried to set-up the new phone" after all this time I had invested over the phone and the second drive and time spend in the store IT WAS STILL NOT WORKING! The SOLUTION I was provided was to --- "call some of my contacts and ask them to go to setting on their phones and make some changes there". really? This is beyond unprofessional anyone could have said that...
Due to the lack of receiving a product that is NOT working 100% along with a side of terrible unprofessional treatment. That's is not what I paid for. I told the manager I no longer wanted the phone and wanted a refund. Not only did I have to pay $25 for a restocking fee but I was also told the activation fee of $25 was Non-refundable. The reason I asked for a full refund was not due to me changing my mind but it was due to your company selling faulty products and having no shame or respect on keeping my money! Oh, and the cherry on top was the $25 case I purchased for the NON-working phone is also nonrefundable. So, I spend $104.00 and after receiving such terrible customer service and being robbed blindly of MY money I ONLY got a $30.00 back. YOUR company has kept over $70.00 and I was left with a cell phone case that I no longer need. Not only you kept my money but will also make more money selling that faulty phone to someone else.
The district manager "Gaby" was present at the time of this incident and she didn't have the decency of performing her job or even apologize, she kept saying it was the store policy and to read the back of the receipt. I guess you hire people with qualifications that match your product- poor skills and don't do what they are expected to do and clearly have no idea what customer service is.
I am beyond frustrated I am not asking for more than what I deserved to either get a working phone or get a 100% REFUND. Your company has truly showed me you prefer to lose customers and have bad reviews than making things right. I will be taking my business elsewhere, which I'm sure the company/store/employees could care less.
I filed a complaint with your customer service over the phone and I'm sure won't resolve anything and I will never hear back from them. But I will file complains with as many agencies as I can (BBB, Consumer Affairs, yelp, google) so at least other people don't lose their money like I did and are aware of the kind of people your company hires. Good customer service and fair treatment is not what this company strike for at least not this specific store or the 1800 customer representatives.
cricket wireless lost and stolen plus bad customer service
Last year I purchased a brand new iphone 7 from cricket store. Everything was great, service was good, phone was just what I expected it to be then out of no where (3-4 months later) my phone was shut off. At first I thought it was signal issue but after a day or so I called in to check up on the service, turns out someone reported my phone to as lost / stolen. Instead of fixing the issue they terminated my line, I lost my number that I since 2008.
So I had to get a new number, but the issue was that my iphone 7 was still out of commission since it was reported lost and stolen. I called multiple times but all I get from customer service representative is "I understand" it's like they are trained to just keep on repeating over and over that they understand but they can not do anything to fix the issue. I tried talking to several managers but no one is willing to help me. They can clearly see that I was the original owner of the iphone 7 and that I still have it in my possession. Question is when you are f*& (&ed over by your service provider who do you contact to get an issue resolved. Oh and last few managers just hung up on me acting like they had a bad signal. Someone please helpppppp

Yes I have a big issue with the lady in store 8283 if that's even the correct number it's in waxahachie there is a fat [censor] there that had the nerve to scream at my mother because she was trying to get her to get off her [censor] and simply see what was wrong with my mothers phone because I had been shown by another cricket store if you wish to move from a iphone to a lg stylist all you had to do was move the chip, we did so! My mother was receiving messages on the iphone instead of the lg and she was having problems getting anything to work... So I told her to take it up to the store and have them look at it and see if maybe they could figure out what was wrong and fix it, the fat white woman up there had the nerve to say the issue wasn't the phone but the user! First off I thought it was your reps at the store front to help the customer not be a [censor] because she was having a bad day! My mother has now gone back to metro pcs due to this [censor]! And I will also be looking for another service because this is not something I will tolerate! Disrespect me all you want do not disrespect my mother!

Went in to the cricket store in clinton mo 64735 on June 17 and was speaking with emma about phones we are straight talk customers and was looking for a better phone. Emma sold us the lg fortune with the understanding it had a 8mega pixel front camers and a 13 mega pixel rear camera. On June 24th we purchased another lg fortune along with a case and screen protector due to issues with the old one we was charged price for the phone and a 25 dollar activation fee again. When we got home and went through the book we noticed it just has a 5mp front and rear camera. I called and spoke with emma who was really rude and she stated she never sold me the phone as a 13 mp phone and was really rude. I switched over to cricket wireless under the assumption that it was a stand up company that would give us better service than its competition and feel like i was duped into this. I think that emma was more worried about her child and boyfriend or husband in the store than actually taking the time to give true answers to questions that are asked and feel like something needs to be done to make things right. This is 2 phones know that we have purchased under these false statements a week apart because of your employees falsly promoting your merchandise. I feel something needs to be done to correct this matter

The Microsoft phone and service that Cricket wireless provides/sells is awful.From the beginning period of me buying the phone, nothing would download.Even after having the phone for a while calls would drop randomly, people would be trying to call me and it would say my service is off.The Bluetooth won't connect properly and I am unable to connect to ANY Wifi network.Whether its at home, my job, school or even the Subway.
I would tell anyone interested in Cricket wireless to avoid this company and just go with Metro PCS.For I myself am switching back to them.You'll regret choosing Cricket.
overcharged my credit card by $137
I paid my bill on June 15 over the phone. After I was finished entering my information the recording said that I information was incorrect and didn't go through and that I needed to enter it again so I did. At that moment it gave me my confirmation number and said that my payment was accepted. After I hung up the phone, I checked my text messages when they text me my confirmation and it showed that they charged my card twice for $137. I called there customer service line back and spoke to a customer service rep and she said that I would have my money back the next day. I received a text message from Cricket on June 16 stated that I should get my money refunded back to my card in 3-5 business days and I still haven't received a dime of my money back. All I keep getting is empty promises about getting my money back. I will not be using Cricket as my carrier again after this because I shouldn't have to beg for my own money back. this is crazy! Cricket service is a joke and I'm done with it!

I went into the Cricket store and it was the WORST experience ever. The lady behind the counter (tall, African American, short hair, gold teeth, and approximately 50 years old, was making loud, negative comments about a "lady outside is grabbing more than one bag. Ooh, look at her taking all of our merchandise." Then when another customer was coming into the store that was already half full, she YELLED, "ONE PER PERSON. ONE PER PERSON!" She mumbled, I don't like thieves." She didn't know that she was speaking about my Mother. I told her that she was was talking about my Mother who was getting 2 bags, one for herself and one for me. Then she (the mean one) said she was just "joking and it was taken offensively". She made my Mom very uncomfortable because everyone was staring at her when she came back into the store. The other representative, about 5'7" with long pretty hair and very nice and mannerable, said she had already given Mom permission to get 2 bags. The mean lady started making a scene and Mom just put the bags back, but when she got outside, the wind blew the bags off the table, and my Mom picked up the bags. The mean lady then said, "she earned the bags." I felt very victimized, stereotyped, and embarrassed. Something needs to be done about her because her customer skills are non-existent. In the end, my feeling her shattered and my phone was still broken.

June 12, 2017 County Line Rd Madison Al store location. Store associate could not tell me why me bill was increased by $13.00. She finally told me $3.00 was charged for in store payment. She still, after 10 minutes or more, couldn't answer why. The store Manager, a redhead woman, tried to answer. The manager refused to listen. She told me my bill had always been the higher amount. I showed her each and every months payment text clearly stating the lower amount. She then told me 1. I could not get my payment back. 2. To leave her store. 3. To never come back. I asked for a Manger. She informed me it was "her store and she was the manager". I asked for a district manager's number. She loudly spouted off a number. She then said I will call him. I asked if she would write it down. I called the number no answer. I left a message. Someone named Mike called me. I told him what had happened and he should watch and listen to the store's video. Mike said " there was no video" and he couldn't look up my account because he didn't have his computer. While speaking with Mike the staff of the store were standing at the door laughing. I have never seen a place of business be so rude and unprofessional.
