worst customer service at the store not pharmacy
I experienced the worst customer service from store #1386 yesterday. I am a long time CVS customer and I can say I never had experienced such rudeness from their staff at any other location before.
I went to this store yesterday and grabbed stuff worth $80 and was hoping to utilize a 20% off coupon that had been emailed to me. Upon check out, I asked the employee, Ahmad (Sajjad), to use my coupon that is on the card. He said he doesn't see it. I pulled out my phone and showed it to him the expiration date was showing 3 days later and it says "on card". He told me he doesn't see it and could not help me. I did not want to let go since the saving is about $16 so I asked him to call his manager for me. Unfortunately, he said he is the manager. I then asked him to honor my coupon as that was something I was entitled to get as an extracare member. But he declined and even made me feel like I was holding him up from serving other customers. All I did was ask what I was promised and nothing more. However, I was treated as if I was lying and was denied my benefit so I left without purchasing the merchandises I wanted to get. I couldn't believe that was happening in a big company like CVS. That employee did not reflect CVS's core values and exhibited a rude and unkind behavior towards me.
I will never go back to this store.
Rude and Unprofessional!
cashier
Natrona Heights PA CVS. I spoke with customer relations once and did not receive a return phone call as promised. I've NEVER complained about ANYONE in customer service industry before because I myself have been a server/bartender my whole life. Yet in my whole life I've never felt more humiliated or felt I was below someone else until I tried to buy makeup at CVS one morning. I had 12.00 in quarters because I save my change and I only took quarters because I know what a pain it is to be the one counting it all. The short brown haired young lady told me she wouldn't take my quarters that she can't accept that much change and I asked why and her response was that it wouldn't fit in her drawer. Ok I said and I left without a purchase and went elsewhere. I guess it just goes to show that CVS didn't care to respond back to me. Even just to say hey we spoke with the crew at that store and they know it's wrong to not except someone's money. Change or otherwise. But then I realized that they don't care. They didn't miss my change and won't miss my money at all. It is just disappointing.

medication changes causing severe side effects
I have been a cronic care patient since 2011 and have been perscribed TramadolHCL 50 mg. Tablets taken x6 daily for my cronic pain. Without Me knowing and upon my new refill in (Feb2018) at Sanford MaineCVS I had picked up a brand of tramadol I've never taken/seen before. I didn't think to complain assuming they ran out? when in fact the pharmacy had changed the manufacturing company from Teva pharmaceuticals to CARACO/SUNPHAR . At first I had not noticed and It took over a month and a half of a complete personality change, hot and cold flashes, severe heart palpitations/pains, couldn't eat, lethargic, mood swings, sleep trouble and Practically bed ridden for those two months which I thought I would end up hospitalized. My children and boyfriend noticed the full change and addressed Me quite concerned and We pinpointed that it was in fact the prescription change! Upon the next prescription refill I informed my pharmacist of my severe reactions and she informed Me they are 'back to the previous Pharmacy and I would have my normal prescription'. I still have 52 pills of tramadolHCL 50mg from CARACO/SUNPHARM out of 168 was my prescription total. I was unable to physically handle the reactions so I went without, probably causing the blunt of my side effects. I feel I could have died (at times) and being a cronic care patient I already suffer enough being 33 and fully disabled. My heart still is experiencing pains and it could be due to my disability but should I feel worried of a longterm size effect from the change? The reactions I went through were severe enough to write this complaint and I want to make sure I do not have to experience the scare again please.Thank You for Your time .
outdated food products.
April, 26 2018.
Today, I went shopping at the CVS Pharmacy 10222 east frwy. Houston, Tx. 77029
and bought some items to which a couple where food items, although I should have
checked the expiration date which I did not.
The pizza I bought was outdated and the box had been opened and taped with scotch tape that I also didn't notice, my bad. This is the third time something like this has happened at the same store. PS this has never happened at Walgreens.
pharmacist on duty wednesday 4/11/18 4:40pm
On 4/11/18 I went to the Hall st. /Concord location to pick up a prescription of Suboxone I had just received from my doctor at a IOP. The pharmacist came to the window and informed me that he needed to call and speak to my doctor before he would fill the script. He then said he believed the dosage was too high for someone that had never taken Suboxone before. I let him know that I had actually taken Suboxone starting at this dose and actually higher prescribed by very renowned doctor in my area who has worked in addiction treatment at one of the best hospitals in the country for over 20 years. I let the pharmacist know the names of the previous Socorro's I have had prescribe this medication to me. He then said my name wasn't in his system for having this filled and it would be if I had been prescribed this before. I told him he was wrong and he should in fact call my doctor to confirm this. I received a text when my prescription was ready and when I went to pick it up the pharmacy tech informed me that the pharmacist had spoken to my doctor and the the prescription had be cut in half. Apparently neither my doctor that prescribed this and the pharmacist did not believe I had taken this before since the pharmacist claimed he did not see any records of it. Not that it matter if I had ever taken this medication before. Anyone with any basic knowledge of this medication and how it's prescribed knows the dose they start you on isn't based on if you have taken Suboxone before it is based on your tolerance of the opiates you are trying to stay off of as the Suboxone works by attaching to all the extra receptors created by high level of opiates so for it to work in the manner intended it needs to be a high enough dose to match the tolerance level to opiates. I left feeling like I was an inch tall. If any other population of chronically ill people were treated in the way recovering addicts are it would be considered malpractice. When I went to my next apt with the prescribing doctor I brought the issues up and he was very confused. He had not spoken to the pharmacist at any point. The pharmacist did call but my doctor was not In so the pharmacist spoke with another doctor in that office it just happens to be a doctor I have never met or has any clue about my history or situation. This doctor went off the word of a pharmacist that wants to play doctor thinking he knows what is best for people when he clearly doesn't know anything about how this medication works. If that's not bad enough I called my former doctors office to ask them if they could provide a written statement that I was in fact on this medication before. The receptionist was able to access the data base that the pharmacist was referring to and she was able to tell me that all the prior times I had been prescribed this medication were clearly visible. I'm not sure if I was discriminated against because of the disease I have, I'm not sure if the pharmacist has a inferiority complexe and needs to assert himself over a population of people that no one is willing to stand up for when they are wronged but I know what happened to me is wrong, and I will show this pharmacist and the company he works for how wrong. I have lodged a complaint with the Board of Pharmacists and have attained counsel on this matter. I urge the customers of CVS pharmacies to really pay attention to the way CVS treats those that keep them employed. This is not a company that's values anything besides the money they can get from you, they couldn't care less about the person that it's coming from. Is that who you want providing critical medication for you and your loved ones?
pharmacist in target cvs store named randy
I went to Daytona Beach, Fl Target CVS because 2 other stores in my DELAND, Fl. Neighborhood did not have my refill in stock. They were waiting for shipments. The CVS Store on Plymouth Avenue and 17-92 in Deland told me to go to Target cvs in Daytona Beach on international speedway. I told the pharmacist RANDY what happened and he called up the first store to see if i was telling the truth. They said they did not send me to him. I already told him it was the Plymouth store that sent me but he didn't listen. Now he goes on the computer and tells me, no refills, when there clearly was. He trlls me there's nothing I can do and goes to help the next customer instead of waiting for me to respond. So, he talks to the next customer talking nuce, smiling, asking him about school and dismisses me. He didn't try to call the first cvs or help me. So, i call the first cvs and again tell the pharmacist thst RANDY in Target cvs says no refills. She calls RANDY and while I'm on the phone he tells me to get off the phone while he tries to get on the computer to see my account. Again he says i can't help you and sits down dismissing me with a look of contempt. RANDY needs training on how to deal with female customers. He yelled at me, which he will deny and dismissed me like i was a piece of crap. I'm 65 y.o. and don't deserve to be treated this way by this man who has a problem dealing with women. So, i call the first store up and she says she had 21 pills to give me. After driving to 3 stores and being treated like someone beneath him by RANDY in Target cvs i will never use cvs again.
no service.
What is the reason CVS pharmacy does not take tricare? I tried dropping off a script for anxiety medicine (a little thing called PTSD) and was informed CVS does not accept tricare insurance. Since tricare is 99% military, family members, and retirees, one can conclude, right or wrong, that CVS pharmacy intentionally created an adverse impact through their systemic policies against military, their family members, and retired military members.
pharmacist, store # 10863, rx # c 129127
This is a complaint about a pharmacist at your store . Date was 03/26/2018. The prescription I was filling was rx# 129125. The pharmacists name is Donald W. Parson . I work 2nd shift so I always fill my prescriptions after work, which is at around midnight . This pharmacist was rude to me speaking to me in a patronizing way, telling me that I can't fill my prescription at midnight because it creates a backlog of prescriptions due to be filled in morning . He also stated that this was a controlled substance and that he was making a note I was filling the script early . A script can't be filled early, that is illegal . So he is lying on top on that . The refill is date is determined by an MD, not s BS level pharmacist trying to flex his limited pier . He made me feel as if I was some type of drug addict because I was refilling the proscription late at night . I am a disabled Army veteran and served my country, I deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I waited this long to make the complaint because I had another unpleasant conversation with him over the phone . I wanted to give him another chance but unless someone complains, people continue to do wrong by others . He doesn't act like a professional . This second incident, which was today 04/20/2018, I was trying to inquire if my doctor had sent a refill .He was rude again, cutting me off as I spoke . He should not be making patients feel worse . Someone should reprimand him for this behavior . I will spread the word to any vets using CVS to not do so unless you get your pharmacists in line and perhaps give them the training they need for customer service .
Sincerely,
1LT Adam Kocyk, US Army ( ret)

Hello I am a cancer patient who has dealt with CVS for years. I am now going to switch from the Monroe Avenue Brighton NY pharmacy because of the rude and disrespectful manner that the pharmacy manager "Carra Sold"has. She refused to fill a prescription for Zolpidem and told me to come back the next day because it was a day early so I said I would be back after midnight when the date changed to get my medicine and she would not fill it.I called my insurance company and they said it was not too early and they called the pharmacy and said they did not know what her problem is. She has also hassled me about a faulty asthma inhaler that I desperately needed. I have enough problems without her moody nonsense. She seems to treat men and wealthy people better, neither of which I am . But I have spent thousands of dollars over the years at CVS and I am changing pharmacies unless someone straightens her out...I don't care if she is the Pharmacy Manager.
pharmacy service
I am a insulin dependent diabetic, on April 19th at appointmently 7:50, I called CVS located at 5660 Baltimore National Pike. My call was in reference to some diabetic supplies my doctor had called in. I made 3 attempts to speak with someone but was placed on hold each time for 30 minutes or more. My fourth call, I spoke with the store manager, who didn't identify himself by name and was told that they were short staffed and swamped with customers. I don't see how it is my responsibility for for the stores short staffing or any other problems, if I am in need of medical assistance. Life threatening or not this is unacceptable. CVS wants to serve the city employees, this should have been thought Thur before accepting the contract. If you are unable to correct the problem, perhaps picketing the store will draw some attention to the problem. Thank you for any assistance you may provide.
pharmacy department
There are many instances I have problems on this pharmacy. I have submitted a complain on April 16 (incident # 8961979). I was supposed get back from CVS with 48 hours, but no call from CVS after 72 hours. I would appreciate if some one from customer service representative call me regarding this incident (# 8961979).
Thanks.

homophobic? there really is no other explanation
My girlfriend and I frequently come into this cvs. We ALWAYS purchase something, and use the restroom. We usually go in the mornings because my job is close by, and its the only place open in the morning around. On one occasion we were there in the afternoon, I was checking out the beauty products and we noticed a short brown haired lady who looked like a manager of somesort (i still havent gotten her name because she doesnt wear a nametag) following us around, when we stopped for a moment because i was going to purchase some feminine products she so RUDELY asked " Are you buying anything?", how unprofessional to ask. That day i walked out without purchasing anything, I was so in shock that she would say something like that to a customer. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, she must have decided it was her duty to come up to us/ harrass us and tell us that the bathroom was for customers only, that day we were planning on purchasing something after I used the restroom, what does this lady want me to do? Purchase an item then go use the bathroom? When you gotta go, you gotta go. My question is why did this lady come and say that in the first place, how would she know if we were paying customers or not? EVERYTIME I see her in there when i am alone (without my girlfriend) she decided to give me dirty looks, and evil glares making me extremely uncomfortable. BUT TODAY my girlfriend and I both walked in there like we do every morning, walked straight to the restroom and she pulled aggresively on the door handle without knocking. We walk out and she is standing right there staring at the both of us. She didnt even have to use the restroom there was no reason for her to pull at that door the way she did, We decide to avoid crossing her path and walk the other way, we go get out drinks and she is following us glaring and mean mugging us the whole time, she then yells to the cashier right infront of us "thats them" or "there they are" or "of course its them" something along those lines, then meanly stared at us the whole entire time until we left. I honestly do not know why this lady decided to target us to be so cruel to. We didn't do anything to her, or any other employees. Were two nice respectful 20 year olds, were not loud, we dont steal, or do anything that would make her act how she does towards us. i can think of only 2 reasons why she would do this. The first one being that we are clearly homosexual, or the second one being that we use the restroom together. We go to the restroom together because my girlfriend has severe epilepsy and has constant seizures so try to make sure we are always together, not that its any of this ladies business why we go into the bathroom together anyway. We are paying customers, i have used cvs pharmacy for years, so has my whole family. Im not sure why this lady acts the way she do but she should not have her job if this is how she treats customers and makes them feel. It makes me extremely dissapointed that someone with her demeanor has a job in a pharmacy which is supposed to help people feel better. This lady (whos name i wish i had, she never is wearing a name tag!) Really needs to rethink her actions. So unprofessional, not a good look for cvs.
never received store gift card, they said was sent to me.
Karen the store manager for the Mercerville, NJ CVS, said she sent a gift card $125.00 on Feb.7, 2018. After waiting, and not receiving it, I called Karen. She said to wait a bit longer which I did. So, I called her back, and she said she reported this to her manager Mitesh Shah. She told me that he was checking to see that the card was not used. It has been now over two months that I was told it had been mailed. I am a very loyal customer and have been for years. Please, can someone put a stop on this supposedly mailed card, and issue me another. Karen said the transaction number was 8737. I have waited, and Karen has tried to resolve this matter, but it seems Mitesh Shah is not in any hurry to settle this. Thank you in advance for your help.

service of an employee
I was shopping today at CVS on Wesley Stouts Chapel in Sun Valley, NC and was treated very poorly by an employee named April Robinson. She was pushing a cart while I was looking at items on a shelf and actually hit me without any apology or even a turn of her head. I looked up at her expected just a simple apology. However, I received nothing. I was just lookin for common courtesy. I didn't expect much because I know they are currently under Reno at this location; I am a frequent shopper at this location. However after today's occurance, I don't know if I will be returning here.
cvs.com and your it department
Last month my CVS.com account where I kept track of my daughter's medications got messed up when your IT department did some kind of maintenance. It's now been over a month and two helpdesk tickets later and my account is still not working. When I call for status updates all I am told is that the ticket was assigned to a tech and that they will call me when it is fixed. This is bad service and I think the way I am being treated shows I should look to move my business. CVS Case Number: SD15577042
manager unprofessional
Enid Oklahoma
The Manager Mellisa African-American woman accused me of using make up while trying to return it, she argued with me, she even called me s lier while I told the store manager what happened, and got in my face to the point where her store manager told her to go to the back, she didn't do as her store manager told her to instead she crossed her arms pointed her finger at me and started talking smack in front of my three-year-old son, and Several Customers, I have never been so humiliated in my life and she was accusing me and calling me A liar infront of customers and her store manager. I have never been so embarrassed . So I took a picture of her so I could show corporate who she was because she was very very unprofessional and very very rude and She started videotaped me while I was talking to her store manager. Never in my life have I been so miss treated by anyone who worked at a place of business. Her Store Manager kept telling her to stop Politely My three-year-old son was very scared because she was in my face and making jabs at me that we're unappropriate and my son thought she was going to hurt me. It took me 2 hours to calm him down, he doesn't want to go I'm any big stores now? Thanks to A CVS Manager!

I believe certain members of this pharmacy staff have been untruthful to me and have also caused interference with my medications
Your pharmacy staff has been untruthful with me and I feel as though I am being singled out and discriminated against for whatever reason. On March 25th, 2018 I attempted to drop off a script (around 7-8PM) to a male pharmacy employee. He told me that the medication was in stock and that it would be ready after 10PM. When I checked the CVS App on my phone to see if my scripts were ready, I noticed that one in particular wasn't even showing up in the system at all. When I made it back to the pharmacy around 1AM March 26, 2018, the same guy was working. He told me that my insurance wouldn't cover that medication, that I would have to either accept only 30 capsules instead of 60 like the script called for, or go get a new written script. He said I would have to come back after 8AM just to get the prescription. So I again returned that morning and the woman who I spoke with told me that the medication that was in stock less than ten hours earlier was no longer in stock there or at the other CVS. So I was told that the medication was in stock but that my insurance wouldn't cover it, then told that the medication wasn't in stock at all in less than a 12 hr period. I ended up taking this prescription to Walmart where low and behold, my insurance DID cover it and there was no problems filling it. I was again take aback on March 29, 2018 at about 3Am, I was in severe pain and had a prescription for Morphine. The pharmacist wouldn't fill the medication, he said I had to wait until after 8Am. When I returned
prescription refill
I've been receiving the same medication for nearly 7 years; same quantity, same dosage. I just thought I'd switch the CVS I went to for my refills because of the proximity to where I live... it's much closer. The refill was called in by my doctor a week prior to the fill date as to make the transition a smooth one, but that is not the case unfortunately. The pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because she said (in her words), ‘that's too much, I don't think you should be taking that much of that medicine. I need to speak with your doctor.' Now, if she had done that before my medication was supposed to be filled, I would not care, but now it's 3 days tardy & I feel awful. This is so not acceptable & I'm at a loss for how to proceed as the pharmacist also refused to transfer the order to the CVS I used to go to.
cvs brand of prescription unavailable
I have a written prescription for Claritin-D for a 30-day supply from my primary care doctor since I have allergies all year long and I can take the CVS brand Loratadine-D if available and have purchased it from the store at 4309 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, NC (Store #753) in the past. For the past 3-4 months, they never have an adequate supply to fill my prescription and I have to purchase Claritin-D instead. When purchased on 3-31-18 they only had one 10-count of Loratadine-D so again I had to purchase Claritin-D which cost me $49.98 a month since my insurance doesn't cover this product. I don't understand why they cannot carry an adequate supply of their own brand. You would think they would like for customers to purchase their own brand. It is getting very frustrating to pay almost $50.00 a month just because they don't have an adequate supply of Loratadine-D. I have several other prescriptions that I purchase through this same location, (totally $140/month) but if they don't start carrying an adequate supply, I will be forced to move several prescriptions elsewhere. I also purchase my vitamins from CVS also along with other bath items.
I just want to find out why CVS cannot carry an adequate supply of their on brand of product.
